he will encounter faces so similar, but at this same so strange.
he may even have to sell himself to get past.

in distant worlds and places close to home. never have they seemed so Alien…

Buttoned perspective.

I open my eyes and awake from my dream. or should i say my nightmare. or perhaps recollection of the past.

the burning skies and the sound of my country and Home falling apart before me.

i can still feel the heat and pain of that moment of the not so distant past. and i can for see the nearing future ahead.

i get from my seat beside a ever comforting Bonfire. my to comrades still resting.

but it also appears that one of them has ventured off. probably the reason for my sleeps disturbance.

i decide to search for the absent character who may have got in to some trouble else where.

i pick up my shovel a trusted friend in my years of combat. it never betrayed me if only the same can be said for others.

i look to my arm and my thorn seems to be awake and in its place as usual. frisky fellow waking up before me.

there must have been a bright light source near by. that probably woke it up i wonder what?

the matter concerns me but i guess i can look into it afterwards. my comrades are still fast asleep but our defenses.

are still intact and untouched so i suppose i could venture off without much concern for there well being.

i walk off toward a random location. i'm only guessing where to head but my thorn may or may not decide to help out.

in reality i'm not that concerned for my comrade they all can take good care off themselves without my aid.

i just wanted to excuse myself and go off venturing in new territory. this place brings back memories.

most of them were good some bad and others terrible but all has its purpose i guess.

ill be heading back to the empire next month. 45 day's before i get to see my master again. my adoptive father.

but he never call's me son. i guess it professionalism and avoiding favoritism in the society.

he is the emperor of a mighty and fair Nation of killer's and hippie's. but i don't mind, after all life's been good.

i walk on cobblestone roads of this destroyed town. vegetation an wild life has made there home here.

i guess this place is just that appealing even to the monster's iv'e once feared. but no i have a respect for them.

there not bad compared to beasts else where in the other worlds. iv'e actually come to like all of them.

i continue my dawning walk a cross the landscape. until on a hill i see an old building still intact. all do say for a few.

the windows and bell are gone. as well as the door. the chairs are mostly broken. some books still remain.

there are some small wholes and scorch marks here and there. and the chock board is still here.

my old school house back when conflicts evaded equestria. or maybe its the other way around i ponder this.

the thought soon escapes me. and i go inside the broken building. memory's once again fill my mind.

i remember the bullying and the failing and the puppy love for a Girl. i hated those day's.

an hour goes by with me mindlessly picking things up and staring at them. or looking at pictures that are not there.

i'm glad no one's here to see me act like this. after some time i walk out of the school house. and go else where.

i look upwards i can see the sun beginning to rise above the horizon. i'm glad its not the old sun at least.

the moment the master told me about the truth of this world. i was Mad at him for about three or four months.

i didn't talk to him or attend classes or go outside for that matter. i hated him for telling me the truth.

i have regretted that moment. i regret even now even do i was forgiven for my failings.

my relationship with my master has never been this same. he wasn't mad nor upset and that's what bothered me.

but i guess i'm just being selfish again. he has better things to do then worry about some random student.

i'm not important i'm just disame as everyone else nothing special.

i start walking toward the old bakeshop. i always hated that pink party going idiot. iv'e always hated her parties.

and iv'e always hated the fact that i wasted so much time with those fools. while the world crumbled they didn't even.

give a damn about it and partied on and on with those foolish towns folk until they all in turn wore consumed.

i decide to walk back to the campsite. while walking back to the camp. the sounds of wildlife going on with there daily routine. i pull out my guide booklet. iv'e never took its word seriously because it speaks of odd creatures. but all just this same it is useful in its own therms its stories all do odd seem realistic and interesting enough for my ears.

the master has always reading the full version of this book but to us he gives butchered booklets. i'm not offended.

i mean next to nobody reads these things and the ones that do don't take it seriously. neither do i but it burns time.

i flip threw the multitude of pages and settle on a random one. the following verse is 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.

its heading is. If you want to destroy EVIL. it speaks. For though we live in the world. we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.

and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

i was taken back by this passage. but i still don't understand these thing's? i decide to read more but i have things to do.

so i bookmark it then close it and put it back in its place. i then walk off toward the campsite one more.

looking around i see more wildlife look back at me with this same wonderment or they just look like that all the time.

after some time i find my comrades still sleeping where they where. and also my absent comrade now looking at me.

by the looks of it cooking the break fast of the rest. she looks at me and smiles she then speaks with such joy.

Mornin COmander! your up early out for a stroll i see or where you looking for me? i'm flatterd sir. she blushes.

and i speak with a bored tone. don't get ahead of yourself scootaloo. and yes i was looking for you. i cant have you dying on me. ill get demoted again. she chuckles ab noctiously as always. i'm just messing with you mash don't be so thin skinned like those pesky feminists and gay pride on goers.

i roll my eyes and sit down and enjoy my break fast with my old friend. so this place brings back memory ain't it?

i replied yehhh it does those days long gone. we've changed a lot haven't we?
