"Ughhh....shit...."
The owner of the voice slowly sat up from the bed trying to blink the blurriness of her eyes away although that wouldn't help since she kinda needed glasses, she yawned stretching her hooves out and reaching on the nightstand for her glasses. Her hooves hit her alarm clock which turned on the radio button.
"shhhhhhhhhhishhh"
Static?...odd. That's the towns most popular radio channel." She reached behind the alarm clock and finally her hooves touched her glasses. She smacked them flipping them into the air and they landed right onto her nose clearing her vision instantly. Then she reached for her light grey beanie that was on top of the lamp shade.
she looked over to the clock again and turned the dial on the side everything ending up on the same thing. Static and nothing but static. Not a single song, a single interview, not even a word, just an endless void of static.
"What the hell is going on...." She sighed getting up from the bed and stepping on the floor with a soft creak. She heard someone move next door and yawned again. She made her way to the door and turned the knob pushing on it. The door stopped only a few inches from the room.
She tried pushing it again with no avail "hey....you left your stuff in front of my room"
Silence....no voices....no movement. Not even a stir of life. "Hello?" She tried peeking through the door and sighed using the most of her still drunken strength to slam into the door knocking all the luggage on the floor with a soft thud. She heard someone stir again next door and once she pushed the luggage out of the way with the door she went over to the neighbor.
"Hey. what's going on around here" she knocked on the door and was answered instantly by something slamming into the door with a growling noise. The slamming making her jump back with a yelp "ok ok I'll be leaving"
She jumped up and continued down the hall. The sound stopping after several moments "ponies and their stupid dogs...."
As she walked down the hall her curiosity began to increase to insane heights. She heard nothing and saw nothing. Her military training was telling her something was wrong. But as she continued down the hall and turned the corner that is when she saw a pony bent over ripping apart another
"What the fuck!!?"
The pony in response turned towards her standing to its full height with blood and meat dripping from its maw its eyes less dark and lifeless staring right at her with a look none other than the look of hate and hunger.
"Grahhhhhhwwwww" it ran at her grabbing on with its maw wide open ready to rip at her, due to military training she grabbed it by the head throwing it behind her grabbing a bottle from a bag on the floor and cracking it upside its head sending it face first into the ground with a loud thud.
"Rawwwwwwwlllllllrrrrrr" the sound of several doors being beat on filled the hallways and would make a pony with a weak heart fall over in fear.
She ran as fast as her hooves could carry her as several doors broke down and 2-3 ponies gave chases growling like savages. She slid over the top of a cargo carrier tossing a suit case back knocking one over and making it go face first into a pile of bags and suitcases. The other two jumped over the carrier and continued the chase. As she ran she came across another bag and threw it back almost tripping. Despite it missing it still tripped one of them making them knock their head on a wall.
The last one leaped at her knocking her onto her back as they twisted in the air to the ground. As it went to claw her face off she punched it in the mouth and sent a kick to its stomach knocking it to the floor. It jumped up faster than she could and leaped again to clamp on her right hoof "ahhhhhhh!" She yelled punching it in the face before a table leg from no where knocked it in the side and then sent its head flying across the hall.
"Get up now. Come on" the stallion of a grey blood covered coat and dreads helped me to my hooves as another stallion ran in with a small 9mm hand gun "get her out of here....lets go" the two helped me to a window at the end of the hall past the beating doors of the hotel to a zip line they attached a harness to my stomach and to the zip line "go with her azur....make sure she gets to the tower"
The one with the handgun fired at more coming down the hall way as me and azure got on the zip line "goooo!!" We jumped sliding down the line azure looked back as the other stallion tried jumping on but was grabbed at the window screaming in agony "noooooo ahhhhhhhh" I started crying as he was ripped apart by zombies gut from gut bones from the meat...his blood dripped to the ground below as he continued screaming and was devoured by the ponies who had served me greatly the night before.
I blacked out right as I hit the ground close to my new home only to look up before that very moment to see two towers next to each other with a large Olympic game poster hanging on its side....." welcome home"
