The Town Gone Down
I'm Hotwell.  I live... well, used to live in a bustling city named Ponyo.  What was just a few days ago a city full of all four main races in Coltan is nothing but abandoned skyscrapers.  But quickly, ever so quickly did each pony disappear.  Even Princess Subductia, princess of the tectonic plates, has went missing, so having the ground with the motionlessness of this "Equestria" will take getting used to.  It's completely beyond me why the near entirety of this city disappeared.
Princess Subductia is somepony you don't want to mess with.  She does her job so she'll one day have Coltan as a plains country, bigger than even Chimark.  But what about Equestria?  That country apparently has mountains too, some of which are higher than ours.  I really hope to've let some of the alicorns here take me to Equestria some day.  Now, since this town has population-ally vanished, I guess that dream won't come true.
All that remains of Ponyo are me, Lampshade, Sky Galloper. and a dragon named Katira.  Katira can actually send letters to Princess Subductia by blowing fire on them when they're in scrolls.  Lampshade was once happy prior to Ponyo's demise.  But now every night, she stays at my appartment worried sick about everypony.  She murmurs about her older friends departing, three to be exact, from Ponyo.  Two pegasi and one earth pony.  Sky Galloper is not fairing any better.  He can't even fly so traumatized.  How about me?  I'm just confused alongside Katira.
Katira sends a letter to Princess Subductia asking where she is.  It isn't long before we get a reply.
Dear Hotwell,
I've gone away to Equestria to get the four princesses there for our nation's help.  Our city's vanished the past few days and I want to find the reason being.  It's getting rather close to the Summer Sun Celebration here and everypony in Ponyo is about to miss it.  What I want you and Katira to do is travel all across Coltan in search for the ponies of Ponyo.
Princess Subductia.
"Anything else?" Lampshade lays with her back on the arm of my couch.
I shrug.  "That's all there is.  So, you want to go on a road trip?"
"Didn't Princess Subductia say that you and Katira should go?"
"She only mentioned me and Katira, yeah.  But that doesn't mean you guys can't come with me," I reassure Sky Galloper.
I gallop to the entrance with the other three by my back.  And with that, the last of Ponyo's population is destroyed.
