The First Equestrian War
The Mighty Hood's New Home
Load Full StoryChapter 1: The New War Effort
The British Battlecruiser the Hood was sailing across the ocean, looking for the Bismarck. The captain of the ship was named Alex Kraner. (Yes, I couldn't find the real captain of the Hood.) The Mighty Hood was the only ship of it's class.
Princess Celestia and Luna were thinking about their possible battle between the ponies of Equestria and their past villains. Celestia was holding her fear down out of her face, but you could see it in her eyes. Luna was about to cry.
"Tia... I do not want to do this." Luna said, almost at a whisper.
"I know Luna, I know. I want to do this as much as you do. We have to make our army bigger than it already is. But, I don't know how." Celestia said. But, an idea popped into her head. "Luna, do you remember the last time we called upon the humans?" Luna nodded. "Well, we just might be able to call upon them for help." she said.
"Sir, we have spotted the Bismarck approximately fifteen miles away. Do we engage?" one of the British Navy soldiers asked.
"Yes. Engage that German Battleship and give her all we've got." Alex replied.
On the deck the entire crew shouted, " WE GOTTA SINK THE BISMARCK!!!" The boat started to rock from all of the firing. Then, the German Battleship started to fire. One of the fifteen inch shells hit the ammo storage. Which caused it to explode.
"Sir! The ship is going down! They hit our ammo storage. Smoke completely covered the Mighty Hood. Suddenly, the control panels started to glow a steady pulse of blue and gold.
"Odd." Alex said. He touched the panel and was met with a large, white flash.
"Do you think it worked Tia?" Luna asked.
"I'm sure it worked Luna." Celestia reassured her sister while wrapping a wing around her. "Come, let us go explore to find where and what appeared." So the two sisters flew out of the castle to find the humans.
***30 Minutes Later***
The two sisters checked the coast and saw something that made them gape in awe. It was a large, grey ship with large sticks protruding from boxes. Thousands of humans lay either dead, or unconscious on the deck of it. They all had blue jackets on with blue caps. They flew lower to take a closer look. When they touched down, there was a soft clank as their hooves touched it. Now that they were up close, some of the humans had shards of metal protruding from their bodies, and some of them had large holes in them. The large sticks were large enough to fit dozens of ponies in it. On top was a strange flag. It was white with red lines going through it. It also had a smaller design. It was blue with red and white diagonal stripes. Then, they heard a groan from behind them. They turned around to see a human struggling to get up with a shard of metal in his arm. He managed to get up, but instantly fell on his back, crawling backwards.
Lucas was backing away from the large equine creatures. They were taller than him and looked menacing. He stumbled upon a corpse and pulled out an Enfield 38 and aimed it at them.
"I don't want to hurt you, just... please back away." Lucas said. From afar was another navy soldier watching Lucas' acts. His name was Jacob. He was mentally laughing his ass off. He was talking to horses, aiming an Enfield at them. Though, he had to admit. They did have wings and a horn, so it should make sense. He struggled to get up and walked over to the taller equine.
"So, Lucas, talking to horses, eh? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha." he said leaning on the taller equine and flicked the tiara on it's head. "Apparently there's a farmer tha-" Jacob was cut short as the shorter one apparently levitated him in the air and threw him into the steel wall.
"Do not disrespect my sister!" she screamed angrily.
"Wow, talking horses. That's a new one." he said.
Captain Kraner woke up to the sound of a women screaming a clanking metal. He walked up to the deck to see many bodies laying on the ground. He looked up to see two large equines pointing a Warhammer and a Scythe at Private Shanders. Lieutenant Foller was cowering with an Enfield in his hands.
"Oh boy, what's Churchill gonna say?" Alex said to himself. He looked across the ship at the fifteen inch wide burning hole in the port side of the ship. He walked up to the scene unfolding in front of him and pulled out his revolver and shot in the air, silencing everybody. The two mythical horses looked away from John and looked at him. The blue one's eyes bore into his, but he kept his posture. The white one walked up to him in a calm matter.
"Excuse me sir, please explain to me what is going on here." she said.
"I am sorry, but first, please explain to ME what is going on here." Alex said. "One thing I know is we are sinking in the ocean, next, we are parked on the shore of someplace unknown with talking horses. So I'm going to have to ask you, what is going on here? Why are we here? And how are here?" Alex asked.
"Come with us. Wake up as many soldiers as possible." she said.
So Jacob, Alex, and Lucas woke up all the soldiers that were alive. 1,415 were confirmed dead. Only seven soldiers remained on the ship. The graves of many were planted outside of the ship on the bank. The white horse beckoned them to follow. What was left of the Royal Army of the H.M.S. Hood.
