The changelings are back with an unquenchable thirst for revenge. After almost a year and a winter without proper sustenance, the changelings are mangy, paranoid and worst of all vicious. Only one remains well and fed: Chrysalis, and she has a plan.

Queen Chrysalis has been starving along with the rest of her species. The hunger is driving her mad, or at least it already did. She's insane. More so than she was before and she's got a plan to use Cadence and her magic to feed the Changelings forever. But the Cutie-Map has sent Twilight and the Mane six to save the day and make sure the Changelings never cause trouble again.
