My little Diamond

As Double Diamond leads the way, poor Party Favor is struggling to catch up. " Party? How come you always come with me on my trips and such, I mean I don't like going alone and all, but you are always the pony who wants to come?" Double Diamond asked. Party Favor looked at Double Diamond. Then Party answers, shivering, " Well..... Uh... It's just that... Uh.. I like coming on trips with you.... There... Fun." Double raises an eyebrow. Party starts to look nervous. " As you say so." Double responded as he started moving again. "[Sigh] Oh thank celestia he didn't find out. Oh thank celestia."

Double led the way as usual, but what wasn't usual and something no pony see's every day is a stallion checking out another stallions flank. 'Ok. Just stay calm. Just enjoy... The view." Party thought. Party looked around checking out the mountains and the snow drift. All of a sudden his eyes landed on Double's flank. It was like he was hypnotized. His eyes scanning top to bottom.

That's when Double turned his head just to see Party starring in an unusual area. Double stopped. Party favor snapped out of what he was looking at and stopped as well. "Uh. Party? What are you doing?" Double asked confused. "Uh. Nothing." Party responded nervously. "To be specific what where you looking at?" Double asked getting creped out a bit. Party blurted, "The snow! Why do you ask?" Party's face was turning red. "Ju-Just forget about it Party. We should start heading back anyway." Double Diamond said. The both of them turn around and start heading back, Double Diamond leading the way.

Once the both of the stallions get back Double goes up to Party, "Hey Party? What where you really looking at?" Double asked Party with a concerned look on his face. "I told you, I was looking at the snow........ It sparkles a lot." Party said getting quieter each word he says. Double knew something was up, he just couldn't put his hoof on it. "Oh! Look at the time, I best be going Double. See you later." Party said. And with that he was already cantering home, which is right next to Double's.

Double headed to bakery to have a talk with Sugar Belle. "Hey Sugar Belle." Double greeted. "Hey Double Diamond. What's up?" Sugar Belle asked happily. "Haven't you noticed anything strange about Party Favor?" Double asked suspiciously. "Sort of. Not really. he has been day-dreaming a lot lately though. Why do you ask?" Sugar Belle asked. "Well, Party Favor has been acting very strange around me lately and I'm kind of curious about what he's thinking in that mind of his. Plus, the most weirdest thing happened today. Party Favor to me seemed to be checking me out. Then when I asked him, he just said he was looking at the snow. Does that sound a little weird to you?" Double Diamond said with suspicion. Sugar Belle replied, "well it depends. Like lately night glider has been acting weird around me. She insist she helps me instead of doing what she does best. Plus she'd rather hang out with me instead..." We pause for a second. "I got it! Sugar Belle screeched. Everypony looked at her. She blushed in embarrassment. "I got it. Party favor might have a crush on Night Glider." Sugar Belle said quietly. "That's just it." Double Diamond thought. "I don't know if he like Night Glider or........ Or m-me." He added in his thoughts.

That night Double Diamond does what he does every night. Though every time he looks out the window you can see A figure. That made Double Diamond shudder.

Once he got into bed he looked out the window. He squinted his eyes, but very faintly he can hear somepony crying. It sounded like a male pony. Double was confused why that stallion was crying. Then Double listened even harder. Double Diamond Gasped. It was Party favor. When Double Diamond looked out the window his eyes didn't know what was happening. It looked like Party favor was cutting something.... But what. Then Double Diamond thought. Party favor is crying and he's cutting something. Double had to do something about it. He didn't want to be mean, but a stallions got to do what a stallions got to do. Double Diamond got so tired he fell asleep fast.

That morning Double Diamond get's up and get's ready for the day. He knew what he had to do. It was not going to be so nice but he was just checking. Double Diamond go's downstairs to the kitchen. He puts on his scarf and goggles, also not forgetting to grab his skies. And heads out the door for Sugar Belle's bakery.

Once he gets there he spots Party sitting at one of the tables eating blueberry muffins, while entertaining Sugar Belle by making crazy balloon animals. I walk up to Party Favor and ask, "Are you ready to go?" Party pauses for a moment the answers me while covering up his front  legs with a coat, "Yeah." Double smile's and start's to walk having Party Favor follow. "Say. What's with the coat?" Double Diamond asks. "It's cold." Is all Party say's.

Double and Party get far out enough for Double to do what he's got to do. Double tackles Party. Party gives out a small yelp as both Double and Party fall to the ground. Double has Party pinned to the ground. Double grabs one of Party's front legs and pulls down the sleeve. Double gasp's. For what Double saw is what broke his heart terribly. Party was cutting himself. "Let me go! Stop!" Party yells. Double let go of Party. "I'm going back to town. Just don't tell anypony about this. It should never be spoken of." Party exclaims tears filling his eyes. "I don't even know why you would do that. I thought I could trust you!" Party yells running off.

Double Diamond slumps down into the snow. He falls to one side, now laying on the ground. Tears fill Double Diamonds eyes. He starts to cry. "Why!?! Why is he hurting himself?!? Is it because of me? I don't even understand what's going one around me anymore." Double thought. Everything fell silent. It was like time stopped. Double lay in that spot for hours to come. As the sun set Double noticed something. He noticed a pony was walking toward him. It was Party. Double didn't budge, even though deep down inside him there was an urge to get up and tell Party how sorry he was and how big of a mistake he made. Double still didn't budge.

Party walks up to Double and just looks at him. Not angry. Not disappointment. Just emotionless. Double look's Party in the eyes with sorrow. Double was also cold from laying in the snow for a whole day. Party sits down next to Double and wraps his scarf around Double's neck. Party sighs, then strokes Doubles mane. Party then stands back up and walks away. Double was surprised. he didn't expect for a stallion to ever stroke his mane. Double decided to not say anything. Double Diamond can still feel the warmth where Party stroked his mane.

That night when Double returns to the town he decides to do something he's never done before. Double going to write a "note" for Party. Double walks into his house sets down all of his gear and searches for a piece of paper and a quill. He checks everywhere. Finally he found what he was looking for. He sets the piece of paper with the ink case and quill. he starts to write

"Dear Party Favor,

I hope you had a good night's sleep. I'm sorry for what I did yesterday. I hope you can forgive me. Anyway, I have something to say. I know that you have a crush on me. I understand now that you feel horrible. I never told anypony about it. I also want to say that you are a fabulous, talented young stallion, but you are more than that to me.

You don't do what you are good at just to hang out with me. I'm sorry if I made you feel uneasy when I talked to you. You are talented, nice, funny, curious, and I can't believe I'm saying this, cute. You are just so much more.

I hope you can understand what I'm saying. And if you do I'm glad.

When Double was done he put into a pink envelope. Then Double quietly sneaks over to Party's house and slides the note under the door, then sneaks back home. Double Diamond closes his front door and sighs in relief. He walks up the stairs and slips into bed. When Double turns his head he notices that Party isn't crying but perhaps giving a small giggle once in a while. Double smiles and closes his eyes.

Double Diamond open's his eyes. He sits up and stretches. He takes this time to look out the window into Party's house. But Party wasn't there. Double gets out of bed and walks downstairs. Double was shocked for what he saw. There where balloon animals flying around the ceiling and cupcakes and brownies sitting on the table. There was also a note. There was a heart sticker on it. Double walks over and grabs it. He opens it carefully, and take's the note out. It was covered in stickers of all sorts. Double opens it.

Dear Double Diamond,

Thank-you for the note with so many kind things in it. I forgive you for every mistake that you have made. Friends make mistakes and have to fix them. I've had a crush on you forever. I think that your nice, smart, brave, you also make a good leader. and you came into my time of need to help me, even though I didn't want it. I don't really know how to describe you best instead of beautiful, charming and trustworthy.

Double was touched. He didn't know what to do. other than find this stallion and tell him he loves him too. First he had to eat his breakfast.

Once Double was done. he washed up and went to Sugar Belle's Bakery to see Party. On his way there he thought about what he was going to do today. Was he going to do what he did everyday. Go skiing. or hangout and do what Party likes to do.

Well Double gets to Sugar Belle's bakery and spots Party. Sugar Belle was in the bakery and all the other ponies seem to be doing what they do normally. Double walk's up to Party and whisper in his ear, "I love you too." Party went into something like a blush / shock stage. Then Double asks, "What do you want to do today?"  Party grinned.

Party leads Double to his place. Party romantically opens the door for Double. Double walks in with a smile. When Party closes the door, he walks over to Double and sets his hooves on his shoulder. Double wraps his front legs around Party and leans in for a kiss. Party does the same.

Party slipped his tongue into Double's mouth. Making Party's tongue wrestle with Double's. it felt so good to Double Diamond. Double and Party enjoyed every second of this kiss. Both the stallions break the kiss, slowly. Party then says, "Want to take this to the bedroom?" Double smile's and replies, "I'll be happy to."
