Daddy's Little Girl ~Princess Chrysalis~
A small but sharp whine pierced the cool night air. A black mare made her way towards the back of her small two bedroom shack. She sighed when she opened the door to find a small teary eyed jet-black filly huddled in a wad of green fabric. The mare used her magic that generated from her crooked and bent horn to pick up the small child and wrap the blanket around her.
“Shush my doll... I am here…” The black mare whispered, cradling her filly and wrapping the dark green cloth around her tighter. The tiny filly snuggled up against her mother and took in a large and shaky breath.
“I-I had a dream mother… a-about a horrible fire…”
The mare gently put the filly back in her bed and kissed her forehead sweetly.
“There couldn’t possibly be a fire in here, darling. It’s not near hot enough in this small damp cave… Don’t fuss over something that won’t happen.” The tall pony stated, relaxing her gaze and turning around towards the door. The filly slowly nodded her head at her mother and watched as she trotted out of the dark cherry wood door. It closed quietly when her mother was out of sight.
The small filly’s flashy green eyes gave off their own light source in the dim bedroom at which she was sleeping in. She closed her attractive and lively eyes and took one relaxed and calmed breath before she quickly fell asleep, her mother’s words circling around in her head.
‘Don’t fuss over something that won’t happen…’
Her unconscious state gripped the dark green fabric between her two black hooves. That fabric belonged to non other than her dad, a great pony who ruled over many lands. She never believed her dad to be evil or power-driven, but the other ponies and fillies around her convinced her otherwise. Rumors spread about her dad trying to take over Equestria, so Princess Celestial had him captured out of fear that she might loose her land. A war broke out between the Changlings and the ponies of Equestria. Her father had managed to be freed by a fellow black Changling and he tried to seek revenge upon Princess Celestial herself, but in doing so, he had lost his life. Part of the castle was destroyed by accident when an unknown explosion went off during the war. The filly’s father was going after Celestial then, and he got caught in that one part of the castle. A fire erupted and he never made it out of there alive. Her mother gave her apart of her father’s Changling uniform for remembrance. There’s not a night that goes by without that tiny black filly cuddling with that small scrap of clothing from her father.
