Under a Willow Endlessly Weeping

On a rainy day in Tall Tale, Cloudy Day’s little sister asks a very interesting question—“Why do willows ‘weep’?” The storyteller that he is, Cloudy can’t pass up the opportunity to relate the fable of the two ponies who taught the Old Willow, and thus all willows, how to cry. It is a sad story, perhaps, but, as Cloudy knows well, true love is worth any amount of sorrow.
