The young Aleksandr, still working for the Advanced Weapons R & D Corps, finished working on the only thing that would make your lowly Russian grunt teleport from one place to another. It was a breakthrough invention as it eased mobilization and logistics with just a few steps, eliminating the problem that plagued the whole Russian Ground Forces for a long time.
Hassle-free and time-saving, it would prove to be an important asset in the Russian army as it could easily create surgical strikes deep behind enemy lines and attack key objectives with the enemy unable to react until it's too late. But still, it's in its final prototype stage and human trials are on the way, which included himself and a squad of Alpha Group veterans. But, sometimes, life doesn't go the way you planned. And in Aleksandr's case, it never did.
Such a random experience might just change him for the better of all in the future… And everyone might know a thing or two of his untold past that was shrouded in mystery.
But then again, who knows?
