However, all names have been changed for privacy reasons. ***** It was just like any other old boring school day. My friends and I were in the canteen, the hullabaloo resounding in our ears. Of course, our conversation was just adding to that chaos, but that didn’t matter to us, because today, we were discussing our favorite topic: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Let me introduce ourselves. We are a group of six girls, much like the Mane Six actually. Our characters, for one, are similar to those of the Main Six, although some of our individual traits are exact opposites. We were not all fans of MLP at first. I was the first to become addicted to it. Slowly though, one by one, we all succumbed to the joy and happiness that was MLP. More importantly, we finally had a common topic to talk about: Friendship (and of course, magic, weddings and all the storylines they come up with). We NEVER missed a single episode and every Saturday, we would watch the newest episode at a set time and immediately have a Skype conference call about it after This way, we could all discuss our views on it. As our love for MLP grew stronger, we started to realize how similar we were to the Main Six. I was Pinkie Pie. My character was exactly like hers. I would often skip instead of walk. I was never silent for long. If people interrupted my conversation, I was undeterred. Last but not least, I would never get mad at anyone and I was always cheerful, always laughing. Gemma was Twilight Sparkle. Ever organized and level headed, she was like the leader of our group and the most motherly. She was always keeping us in check and it was probably a good thing too, because, over half the time, we were up to something. Marianne was Fluttershy. She never spoke much and when she did, she never made eye contact. However, the one thing that she was good at, was standing up to people. Her knowledge in science excelled most of ours. I often joked that if she and Fluttershy met, she would learn to love other animals, not just her cat and she would teach Fluttershy to be able to stand up to herself without being mean. Ximena was Rainbow Dash. Despite her obvious lack of talent in the sports field, she had the most loyalty and dedication to anything she did. She was daring and loved playing pranks with me (especially Valentine Day pranks). She never freaked out from Ghost stories or Horror movies. Sierra was Applejack. Even though she was the smallest in size, she was probably the strongest. She flipped me onto my back before and I was stunned. (I tried to hug her from behind and she thought that someone was trying to strangle her.) Sierra was always frank with people and she never got bullied. NEVER. Last but not least, Serena was Rarity. She was petite and ladylike (when she chose to be). Her manners were impeccable and her artistic skills exceeded most of those in our school. One setback was her style of dressing… she chose to wear whatever was comfortable for her, often ending up shopping in just a loose T-shirt and loose shorts. Something Rarity would frown upon, for sure. Together, we mostly made up the human version of the Main Six. Our conversation slowly turned towards our hopes of meeting the real Main Six and how much we wanted to meet them. More than that really, we just wanted to see how alike we were. Little did we know, at that time, somewhere, in another place in the universe called Equestria, something was brewing… ***** "ATTACCKKKK!!!!" Pinkie Pie yelled, as she dashed out from behind the couch, pillows in each hoof. Applejack and Twilight Sparkle ran out from behind with her, laughter and giggles resounding throughout the room. A cyan colored blur whooshed past the trio as pillows bombarded them, and sounds of "oomph" and "ahhhh" were heard throughout the room. Rarity retaliated to the incoming trio, flinging pillows at them the best she could with Fluttershy beside of her. "BEST SLEEPOVER EVER!!!!" Twilight yelled excitedly, before a pillow hit her right in the face. Falling backwards, she guffawed loudly before all her friends jumped on her. When all the laughter finally died down, they sat in a circle, clutching pillows to their chests, panting from all that running around. They sat there in silence for awhile, exchanging looks, before bursting out in laughter again. "Hey guys! I wonder what it would be like to have hands!!! You know...., so we could hold more pillows? Wouldn't it be cool if we had individual fingers? We could totally have more awesome pillow fights and we could have legs and we could run around!!! We could climb trees, dance better and I bet that we could hold even more awesome sleepovers and parties!!! Wouldn't that be amazing!??!!? Huh!? Huh?! Huh?!" Pinkie babbled, only to be greeted with five blank stares. "As in... humans?" Rarity asked. "Aw sugarcube, i doubt they even exist. Ah' mean, 'ave you ever met one before?" "Nopey Dopey! But I would LOVE to!!! We could learn sooooo much stuff!" Twilight cleared her throat. All eyes turned to her. "Actually, according to my research and of course, my books", she replied, waving her hands absently to her shelves, "Humans do indeed exist. We have never met them only because our worlds are different and the amount of energy needed to transport us to their world, or vice versa, would be immense. Needless to say, all that energy would have to come from a single source, and a single source like that, has yet to be found or discovered, OR i just haven't found anything mentioned in my books about it yet." "Soooo, we can't meet humans?" Pinkie asked dejectedly. "As of now, not yet. But...." "What is it sugarcube?" "Well...., I happened to find this while I was in the Canterlot library as a student, and I never had a chance to use this spell before, although because of my superb memory, the whole process has already been embedded in my head." Twilight said nonchalantly. "WHAT IS IT ALREADY?!?!" Pinkie yelled. "I can... turn us into humans." Twilight replied, "for a short period of time of about a week. Maybe less, since I'll have to perform this on six of us..." trailing off.... she refused to meet their eyes.... absentmindedly tracing her hoof along the patterns of the wood grains on the library floor. They all looked at her, mouths agape. Jaws dropping to the floor. "I-I-I don't really want to be a hu-hu-man twilight... can't i just stay as a pegasus?" Fluttershy asked nervously, breaking the deafening silence first. "Nonsense my dear! We simply CANNOT all do this and leave you behind! Off we go now, to the basement! I'm sure that's the best place to start with this experiment!" Rarity huffed impatiently. "Alright Twi. Lead the way sugarcube. Ya'll heard the lady. Lets move!" Leading the way down to the basement, Applejack went first, followed by a ever happy Pinkie Pie, a stunned Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash and Rarity were doing to best to shove Fluttershy down the stairs. As soon as they descended down the stairs, Twilight used her magic to brighten her laboratory. Gasps of delight filled the room as they took it the amazing sight of enormous basement. Filled with stacks of books, scrolls, ancient artifacts and test- tubes towering from one end of the room to another. However, the one thing that really caught their eyes, was the huge metal structure sitting in the middle of the lab. The structure was circular, like a cross section of a hollowed cylinder. It towered over the Main Six and reflected off light in all directions. There outside was splendidly decorated while the inside had... nothing. There were eight large holes, dotting the perimeter of the inside. Twilight glanced around, giggling at her friends’ shell-shocked expression. Their jaws had dropped, eyes twitching as they beheld the magnificent sight of the machine.
