Chapter 1
   The Tree’s Mystery Chapter 1 “Come on, won’t you just give it just one more try?” Rainbow Dash said to Twilight as they practiced for the royal Cloudsdale flying competition. “I understand I’m supposed to be the princess to carry the royal banner but I just don’t think I can do it as fast as you want me to rainbow”. “Fine,” said Rainbow Dash “but when you disappoint Celestia, Luna, and your sister in law do not come crying to me.” Twilight shrugged off this comment knowing she wouldn’t disappoint them. However there was one problem that had been concerning Twilight and that was that she hadn’t seen Owlicious since the fire at the Golden Oak Library. Twilight didn’t think much of it until yesterday when Tank came out of hibernation.  Twilight decided she would head to the castle of the two sisters and read but on the way there she saw Owlicious and he guided twilight through the forest back to the tree of harmony, except something wasn’t right about it. It seems that the tree had released the elements of harmony. Twilight searched frantically for them before realizing that they hadn’t come out of the tree but rather made a new tree a second tree of harmony? Twilight thought how could that be? A second tree would mean that the first tree would have surrendered the elements which would make it even more vulnerable to attacks Twilight knew in that instance that she must alert the other princesses. However, there was one problem they were occupied at the Cloudsdale flying competition. That’s right I need to be there to carry the banner Twilight thought. She knew that Celestia would know what to do. She quickly sent Owlicious home to the castle he’d never seen before. Twilight quickly flew to the area in which the Cloudsdale flying competition was being held and went over to Celsetia and Luna. “I must tell you guys something” Twilight said. However she was then ushered off to the banner and had no choice but to fly it in.   So much for not having to smile and wave anymore thought twilight. She flew it in gave her long boring speech on friendship then they got to go to their seats and watch the competition. Twilight leaned over to Celestia and said “The tree of harmony has given up its elements and made a new tree”. Celestia turned her head shocked to hear this and told twilight the truth, “The tree only recreates once every thousand moons and it is said that the first to see the new tree will soon have to embark on a journey. Twilight Sparkle this pony is you, you must find out why the tree has surrendered its elements!” Twilight opened her mouth shocked and said “REALLY?!”
