Apple Bloom's eye's snapped open she scanned her surroundings, she was in her bedroom, on her bed.. She tried to move but when she moved she got a jolt of pain going through her.

"SIS! BRO!" Shouted Apple Bloom at the top of her lungs, but no pony replied. She sighed. "Ah hope it's not a nightmare"

'Trust me when Ah say this.....it's not' Came a voice within her head.

"Who....who's there?!" Shouted Apple Bloom.

'Bloom, you should know by now, after all that last talk we had was quite surprising' Replied the voice.

"You....Ah remember...you're mah evil side?" Asked Apple Bloom.

'No, In fact Ah'm far from evil...Ah'm your dark side' Came the reply.

"Doesn't that mean the same thing?" Asked Apple Bloom.

There was a short silence as if the dark side was thinking about the question.

'No...Ah'm just made from negative emotions like anger, depression, sadness, fear and greed. You are made by happiness, joy and other sappy shit like that ' Came the reply.

"......Why did you give me nightmares?" Asked Apple Bloom.

'Ah needed to make contact with you, however your goodness within your heart didn't want me to since I carry negative feelings inside me, so Ah had to break down your sanity with nightmares ' Came the reply.

"That doesn't make sense though how does messing with my sanity helps you talk to me?" Asked Apple Bloom raising her eyebrow.

She heard chuckling in the back of her mind.

'The pony mind is to strange for normal ponies to comprehend, so let me just tell you a little something about how every pony's mind works, see, ponies have a defence system in their brain, and they block out negative emotions, thus is the reason most ponies are happy, however their defence system has no control on dreams, making nightmare's something for everypony to get upset about, and every nightmare can do something to you, if you have nightmare's like you had, in which is graphic, scary and depressing can actually damage a ponies sanity, and the defence system will brake down the more your sanity does, because your defence from going crazy is your sanity and it blocks negative emotions that make your crazy, thus being the defence system but if the nightmare's are dark enough to make you lose sanity the defence will finally break, letting me talk to you ' Explained the dark side.

Apple Bloom stood their in shock trying to process everything she heard.

"So are you saying....Ah'm insane?" Asked Apple Bloom.

'No, Ah only broke your sanity enough to talk to you and also to appear in your dreams, if ya was insane....you would know it' Came the reply.

"So..are you going to be in my mind forever?" Asked Apple Bloom.

'No, don't worry, Ah will soon just be apart of you' Came the reply.

"Apart.....of me?" Repeated Apple Bloom, not believing this was happening.

'Yes, Ah won't talk to you, but if you are pushed over the edge Ah take control' Came the answer

"What will you do...once in control?" Asked Apple Bloom.

'Kill those who have awoken me by angering you' Came the reply.

"W....what?!" Shouted Apple Bloom.

'Well, ah'll be talking mah leave, Ah hope no pony awakes me....or they are going to suffer' And with that the voice faded.

Apple Bloom heard the houses door opening.

"SIS!" Shouted Apple Bloom.

"Apple Bloom!" Shouted Applejack from downstairs as she made her way up the stairs.

When Applejack opened the bedroom door she had dark bags under her eyes and her mane was messy.

"What happened?" Asked Apple Bloom.

"......You've been asleep for 2 weeks Apple Bloom" Said Applejack.

"TWO WEEKS?!" Shouted Apple Bloom in shock.

Applejack started crying. "Oh thank Celestia that you're alright...Ah don't want to lose you too!"

"Wait what?!" Asked Apple Bloom in shock, wondering if one of her friends had died.

"...............A-Apple Bloom......granny....granny isn't with us anymore" Said Applejack.

Apple Bloom's eyes widened in shock and surprise, she felt her blood go cold, she couldn't find the right words to say the only word that left her mouth was. "No....."

Apple Bloom started crying along with her sister.

"WHY?!" Shouted Apple Bloom with tears coming down her face like a waterfall. "Ah...Ah DIDN'T EVEN GEt..to say goodbye like Ah promised" Her voice cracked a little bit at the end.

"Apple Bloom...she's *sniff* in a better *sniff* place now" Said Applejack, hugging her sister.

Apple Bloom let tears go down her face. "How did she die?"

"H-heart *sniff* attack" Said Applejack still tearing up.

Apple Bloom continued to cry, they both cried there for hours but Apple Bloom felt that it was only going to get worse from here.

The next day...

Apple Bloom awoke with a scruffy mane and bloodshot eyes from the crying, she was up crying until 3:34 AM.

Apple Bloom didn't bother with straightening her mane and just went straight down stairs where her sister and brother where. They ate together in silence, she then went on to get her stuff ready for school.

Apple Bloom had a horrible feeling inside her that told her that school was about to get worse, but she pushed the thought to the back of her mind and she went to school any way, however when she was halfway there she saw her friends who were arguing with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.

"That's a bunch of baloney Tiara and you know it!" Shouted Scootaloo to Diamond.

"Oh please, Rainbow Dash never cared about you, she just saw you as a stupid flightless cry baby" Said Diamond Tiara.

"T-that's n-ot t-true" Said Scootaloo with her voice breaking.

"Leave her alone!" Shouted Apple Bloom.

"Oh look who has finally decided to come back to school" Said Diamond Tiara.

"You should've just stayed home, because no pony wants you!" Said Silver Spoon.

"Shut up and die in a hole!" Shouted Apple Bloom.

"What like your granny did?" Asked Diamond Tiara.

Apple Bloom growled and gritted her teeth. She had been mad at them before, but now she was pissed at them. Apple Bloom wanted to hurt them so badly, she wanted them to bleed. Apple Bloom could feel the anger rising in her chest, she knew however that if her other side was to come out that they would end up dead, and Apple Bloom would end up in prison so Apple Bloom ran as fast as she could with tears coming out of her eyes.

"You monsters! How dare you say that to our friend!" Shouted Sweetie Belle.

Diamond Tiara smirked and bro-hoofed Silver Spoon.

--With Apple Bloom--

Apple Bloom ran as fast as she could to get away from the two ponies that tormented her so her other side wouldn't come out. She ran so far that she realised that she was almost at the school, if she just crossed the road, she would be in school, but before she could take another step she felt weak.

'Hahahaha....now it's time for some fun' Came the voice from the back of her head.

"NO!" Apple Bloom shouted, hitting her head on the ground. "STOP IT! STOP IT!!!" She continued to hit her head on the ground even harder the before. "Please don't hurt anypony"

'Shhhhh....Apple Bloom, just go to sleep....and Ah will take care of all your problems' And then she collapsed.
