Power Heroes Adventures Nightmare Horrors

A crisp cool night illuminated a busy looking Metropolis where the Power Heroes HQ was not too far from the city. Looking down, Twilight saw no danger but a lot of noise even though she was supposed to be asleep but kept having the same nightmares of all her friends defeated by some unknown assailant; nevertheless, Twilight forced herself to get some shut eye she had training in the morning.

"It was a silly nightmare, my friends are strong and will win," said Twilight as she went to bed and slept like a baby.

Just then she heard the blaring alarm signaling that Spike must've found something or did that to screw with everyone.

"Ugh what is it?" asked Twilight annoyed.

She walked out of her room to see what the problem was, what she found turned her entire color to snow white. On the monitor was the words: Rest In Peace Masked Matterhorn which dropped Twilight on her knees as a loomering voice fell on her ears.

"Your death will help the night last forever,"

"Hey Twilight wake up!" said a familiar voice telling her to wake up.

"Huh? Oh Dash thank you so much!" said Dash as she embraced Dash that almost crushed her.

Dash had a confused look on her face and let go of Twilight's grip then asked her the big question on her mind.

"Are you okay?" You look like a zombie," asked Rainbow Dash.

Twilight couldn't tell her best friends that she had a nightmare about them dying and a eternal night so she shook her head yes, Dash didn't know if Twilight was lying or not so Rainbow decided to leave it alone.

"So Pinkie made some waffles and sausages if you want to," said Dash with a grin across her face.

"Sure," said Twilight who faked a smile and put her pajamas on then proceeded to go downstairs.

All of her friends were there so it was going to be hard to tell them about Twi's nightmare but right now all she wanted was food, maybe that would take her mind off of it. Pinkie was multitasking with breakfast and writing notes in lightning fast speed as always which amazed her friends, it even impressed Rainbow Dash which in some cases was never easy to impress.

"Morning Twilight! I'll have your breakfast ready lickety split," said Pinkie.

"Take your time," said Twilight as she sat down at the table.

Applejack was reading the paper, Rarity painted her nails while Spike watched her so she though no one would ask if she slept well but AJ put her paper down to look at Twilight with a worried look of concern.

"Ya alright Twilight? Ya look like you had a nightmare," asked Applejack.

"Yea I did and it was horrible that I can't bring myself to tell you," said Twilight.

Everyone even Pinkie gave worried looks about Twilight, this was what she was afraid of. Now Spike would strap her down to a chair and test on her; all of a sudden a sinister smile spread across her face.

"Twilight you okay?" asked Dash as she walked closer to her best friend.

All Twilight did was grab Rainbow by her neck and threw her across the room that plunged her through the wall back first hurting her semi badly.

"Oh Dash your little Twilight is no longer here, I'm in control of her now cause her fear fuels me so as she's afraid of me there is no chance you will defeat me," said an all too familiar voice as it disappeared into a cloud of darkness.

"What in the hay apples was that?" asked Applejack as she helped Rainbow to the ground so she can heal.

"I don't know but we need to catch her by any means necessary," said Spike.

Fluttershy came out of her tube in her superhero costume ready to go already.

"Okay it seems that someone is eager to go, all right Power Heroes suit up and let's move!" commanded Spike.

They all went to their separate tubes which every slide gave them their outfits to wear and landed on a jet which was piloted by Spike. The jet whirred when activated, had seatbelts that strapped everyone in all nice and snug and it even had a failsafe system in case of an urgent emergency.

"Spike can you track Twilight or whoever that was inside her?" asked Rarity.

Spike pushed a green then blue button which activated the database that revealed a whole hoard of faces but he typed: Possession. The computer searched for all possible matched then it came to one named Nightmare Moon. The one person Twilight feared the most out of every villain she's ever faced.

"Not Nightmare Moon! She almost plunged Metropolis into an eternal night during Halloween, what does she want with Twilight?" exclaimed Pinkie as her feet were moving quite rapidly because of her anger to either run or just kick somebody in the face.

"Oh my...how are we going to stop her this time without hurting Twilight?" asked Fluttershy.

Spike didn't know how to answer the question so he fired up the thrusters and few out of their headquarters and into the sky as on lookers looked up to see a giant jet fly high in pursuit of Nightmare Moon and get Twilight back.

Meanwhile, Twilight was in a dark looking room with no walls or windows then a tall figure stepped out of the shadows was the one they called Nightmare Moon who was standing a few inches from Twilight but that didn't mean she wasn't equally dangerous. Moon lifted up her chin just enough that it left a permanent scratch on Twi's face.

"Ow! Why are you doing this?" demanded Twilight who tried to get stand up but was pulled back down hard by shadow chains on her ankles, arms and around her neck.

"Oh silly Twilight you act like this big hero coming to save the day but you know as well that your still the scared little girl you always were as a child," said Nightmare Moon in an evil cackle.

"You won't win! My friends will take you down and free me from this prison," said Twilight giving herself hope for her friends despite her predicament.

Nightmare Moon simply laughed in her face then put shadow tape over her mouth to keep her mouth shut and controlled Twilight's body to cause more destruction.
