So being and only child is great sometimes.you don't half to share and mommy and daddy only care about you! But it can be real boring as well as there's no pony to play with in the house.And seems all my friends have brothers and sister i feel left out.Mommy says to me when ever i ask can i have a brother or sister she says "You're the only foal for me love"Daddy thinks other wise he says"I'd love for you to have a brother or sister but your mother just doesn't seem to want another baby and i respect her wish's"Which is very silly I know! I just hoped what happened today changes mommies mind.
It all started around the end of preschool all the colts and fillies were in the playground waiting for there mommies or daddies to come.When sweet strings was talking about her new brother.
"He's going to be Pegasus which means when its raining im going to make him pull all the clouds away so I can play outside."
"I bet you will have lots of fun Sweet."I said
"Yah,Ill make him do what ever I want!"
Wait a second,How are you going have a baby? You don't have a daddy?"said flounder who is one of most disgusting of the colts in the world.
See Sweet strings was one of those foals who have two mommies instead of just one like myself. She'd get teased about it all time.Which i wouldn't get why as i was sort of jealous of her,i love my daddy alot but I don't get why she gets two mommies and I don't.Twilight says"Just as different ponies come in different sizes the same applies to families.
"That's because there a-dobt-ing it,its like getting a cat or a puppy only with ponies."
"Your making it up!" Flounder said
"No im not!"she yelled back.
They proceeded to yell at each other for a while.I started to think maybe i could try Adopting a brother or sister.
"That's enough you two!"said miss nursery rhymes.She then told them to apologizes.Soon after that my mommy came to walk me home from preschool.
"So sweetie what did you learn today?"
"Ohh,more about bugs,I also learned that 2 + 2 is 4!"
"Really?,i didn't learn that stuff till i was in my first year of grade school!"
"Mommy?"
"Yes,love?"
"Is Edopting real?"
You mean Adopting sweetie,and yes Its very much real.Why do you ask?"
"Because,Sweet strings said that she's adopting a brother,and Flounder said it wasn't real."
"Like i said its real its just some moms and dad cant have a baby so they adopt one."mom says"You wouldn't be asking this because you want a sibling would you?"
"maybe?" I say
"Honey like i said Your the only foal i need!"
"But can I adopt a pony?"
"Only grown up ponies can adopt other ponies."
"Oh"I frown
"Cheer up now Lav,that means there more time for you!Mom says.Now lets get some lunch im starving."
After lunch I like to play outside at the park near Twilight and my dad works.he sometimes helps Twilight with her princess work.Twilight or dad usually takes time out of there day to check on me.I like to play Dragon,I like to pretend im a wild dragon,not like my dad.and grab me things from the park and hide them in a pile in a small cave in side a tree.If any birds came by I'd chase them as if they were ponies trying to steal my gems.As i was picking up twigs and rock to be gems i herd a distant crying in the background.it sounded like a a baby pony but at the same time not. I heard the cries get louder as i headed to my hole the crying got louder.As i run faster to the hole i get the idea that some pony had left me a pony for me to take care of.I make it to the hole i peek in ever so sightly.I gave a huge smile as i see what's in side.
It was one of those humans that Twilight told me about.Though oddly it looked different from what Twilight described.it was more round and it had no fur expect for its black mane and it had a brown color to it.It was just laying there. The human started to shut up as i looked closer to it.and it stared at me.
"Hi there little baby human."I said the way my mommy always talks to babies."Did you come all this way for me?" The human just looked at me.
"Do you have a mommy?" I ask
The baby didn't respond
"I guess not?" I smile and get all excited.
"Just wait baby I'll go home and get my old carriage." As I race home i start thinking I'd keep the Human as a pet.But I soon remember that Twilight said that there a lot more like ponies.I soon got the brilliant idea to adopt the human as a brother or sister as he was not a pony.
I come home racing in yelling"MOMMY!!"
Mommy comes running down the stairs in her glass and a thimble in her ora says"What is it? Is something wrong?"
"Where is the baby carriage?" I ask
"In the attic why?"
"Because i found something big that i need to carry it in"
"What's that?"
"A baby silly."I say laughing.
"Is it a foal?"
"Yah"
"Is it with its mother or father?"
"No"
"Were did you find it?"
"At the park!!,Can i get the carriage."
mommy's faces makes a frown she starts to talk kind of sternly "Lavender before you get the carriage,show me this baby first,cause i need to know what it is."
"Okay follow me!" i then run back to the park to here crying again.
"Lavender wait up!" Mommy yells.
The crying gets louder i run up to the hole.Mommy makes it up."Its in there."I point to the cave."
"In there? that poor thing. what kind of mother would do such a thing?" She peeks in.Mommy then screams and dash out and falls to the ground.
I trot up to her and ask"Can we keep it"
