//-------------------------------------------------------// Derpy's Last Adventure -by BronyGuardian200- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Normal Day //-------------------------------------------------------// A Normal Day The sun was shining brightly and the birds were chirping. The Doctor and Derpy were walking through the soft, lush grass of an open field. The TARDIS was sitting under the shade of a great, big apple tree. It had been brought here for some strange, unknown reason, but The Doctor didn't mind.  He and Derpy enjoyed the beautiful grass. "It's beautiful out here." Derpy said as her derped eyes looked around. The Doctor nodded as he searched the grass and sky. He was searching for any reason why the TARDIS had brought them here. He couldn't find anything. All he found were bugs, a few flowers, birds flying, and grass. "Hmmmmmm... Strange. I wonder why the TARDIS brought us here. I don't see any reason why." The Doctor said, in his British accident. Derpy blushed as she figured out something to say in a reply. She figured out how to make this romantic and  she was going to make this work. "Maybe it brought us here so we could relax and enjoy this beautiful field. So, let's just enjoy this nice moment together." She said, trying to sound as sweet as possible. She moved closer to The Doctor, trying to find out way to put her arm around him. "Hmmmmmmm... Maybe... Or maybe there's somepony who needs our help. Somewhere in this field, there's something or somepony who needs our help. Come along now Derpy." He said as he started trotting faster into the field. Derpy's eyes lowered, as she became a bit annoyed with The Doctor. She thought that ALL he cared about was helping other ponies and not her. She decided that she was going go her own way. Maybe she would find a stallion that actually cared about her. She started trotting the other way. Did The Doctor notice? Nope. Derpy sighed sadly. "I wish that The Doctor would care about me and our relationship." She said as she walked the opposite way. She kept trotting until at some unexpected moment, she tripped and fell on her derped face. She slowly got up, trying to keep herself balanced. She looked behind her, trying to find out what she had tripped over. Her jaw dropped as far as it could dropped. Lying on the grassy surface, was a big, strong, changeling. She gasped as called out to The Doctor. "DOCTOR!!! DOCTOR COME OVER HERE!!!" She called out as loud as she could. She got no response from him. "THERE'S A CHANGELING OVER HERE!!!" She yelled out. Still no response. She stared at the changeling, noticing that there was something dripping from his lips. It was a green, liquid sliding down his chin. She bent down, getting close to his mouth. She slowly opened his jaw, curious to know what the green liquid was. She looked and noticed that the liquid was dripping from his fangs. It was sort of like water dripping from a stalactite in a cave. She saw no motion from the changeling. The Doctor was nowhere to be found, so she started talking to yourself. "Hmmmmm... What is this stuff? What the hay?" She asked herself, trying to figure it out. As her eyes derped around the mouth of the changeling, she hadn't noticed a slight twitch in it's hoof. Soon, the changelings hooves twitched around a lot more but Derpy hadn't noticed it. At that sudden moment, it's eyes quickly shot open, and his jaw snapped shut. Derpy  quickly reacted, moving away from the changeling's from. "AGGGHH!!!" She screamed as the rolled back onto the soft grass. The changeling lunged at her, ready to bite her wherever his fangs stabbed into. He wasn't dead... He was alive, and ready to kill... //-------------------------------------------------------// A Visit To The Doctor's //-------------------------------------------------------// A Visit To The Doctor's The Doctor quickly rushed out of the TARDIS and into a very large building. There was a sign with a red cross on it with the words "Hospital" written on it. He ran into the waiting room, while carrying Derpy on his back, up to the counter. There was a pink mare sitting behind the counter. She was wearing a nurse hat and had a gray mane color. The Doctor looked at the mare in the eye. "I need you're best doctor. Right now." He said. The pony rolled her eyes and gave him an angry look. She moved her head towards him and spoke to him in a mad tone. "There are other ponies who are waiting. You must wait like them." She said as she pointed her hoof towards the ponies sitting in the waiting room. The Doctor moved his head forward, putting his face against the mare's face. He had an angry look on his face and he WAS going to get a Doctor. "This mare here, is dying. She needs the best Doctor that you have her. She was bitten by a venomous changeling. She needs help NOW!" He exclaimed, nodding his head toward Derpy. The mare's eyes widened. She realized what was going on. She moved out from behind the counter and walked up to The Doctor. "Come with me, and hurry." She said as she started to rush down the hallways of the hospital. The Doctor followed her, trying to keep up. She was a fast mare, that was for sure. The Doctor tried to keep up with her, without dropping Derpy from his back. They passed by many rooms, doctors, nurses, patients, and other Hospital staff. They all looked at The Doctor and Derpy with sad eyes and their heads hung low. They all knew what was going on. The mare stepped into a room and motioned for The Doctor to come in. He walked into the hospital room, finding a bed, a heart monitor, and a yellow stallion in a white coat. He looked at the mare with a confused look. "Who is this?" The stallion asked. The mare looked at the station with sad eyes. "This is-" She started. "I'm The Doctor." The Doctor cut in. "This mare is dying. She needs medical attention immediately!' He said in a serious tone. The stallion took Derpy off of The Doctor's back and laid her on the bed. He turned on the heart monitor, and it started it's normal beeping sound. He turned to The Doctor. "I'm Doctor Storm, by the way." He said, introducing himself. The Doctor nodded, acknowledging him. He walked next to the bed, looking down at Derpy and the wound on her heart. He noticed a bit of movement from her. He started to realize she was waking up. Her eyes open, derped as always, and her eyes darted around the room. "D-Doctor? Wh-what's going on? Why am I here?" She asked, clueless to what was going on in the hospital. The Doctor looked at her and his head went down. "D-Derpy... You were bitten by a ch-changeling... A venomous changeling..." The Doctor responded, tears falling down his cheek. She looked down at the wound on her heart. She then remembered. The changeling, the fight, the tree, the fall. Everything came back to her memory. She knew what was going to happen. Either a life would be saved, or a life would be lost... //-------------------------------------------------------// Attack Of The Changeling //-------------------------------------------------------// Attack Of The Changeling As Derpy jumped back, trying to evade the changelings fangs, dripping with green ooze, she called out The Doctor's name. She hoped to get his attention, so he could help her. "DOCTOR!!! HELP!!!" She cried out, evading more attacks. Far away, The Doctor had finally heard Derpy's call for help. As soon as he did, started running towards where she was. Derpy soared into the air, thinking that the changeling couldn't get her. Unfortunately, she forgot that changelings have wings too. The changeling soared up after her, his mouth wide open, ready to bite down on her grey flesh. She flew around, trying to stay focused. Her eyes kept derping around, making it hard for her to concentrate on flying. Suddenly, pain was struck into Derpy's head as she smashed into the apple tree that the TARDIS was under. She fell to the ground, too injured to get back up. A big, red bruise was left on her forehead. The changeling walked over to her, trying to find the perfect place to stab his fangs into. The Doctor was galloping a fast as possible, trying to reach her before it was too late. He saw Derpy and the changeling underneath the she of the tree and he didn't like it. The changeling spotted the right spot and he knew it was perfect. Before The Doctor got to the tree, the changeling stabbed all of his fangs into Derpy's heart, leaving The Doctor speechless. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He yelled as he ran faster than ever. He smashed his head into the changelings side, knocking him over. He then turned around, took his hind legs, and bucked the changeling against the trunk of the tree. He wasn't going to kill the changeling, but he was at least going to leave him knocked out. He bent down to Derpy, looking at her wound near her heart. He spotted a green ooze, being sucked into the wound. His eyed widened filled with tears. "It-it's- It's venom..." He said, knowing what was going to happen. He picked up Derpy and put her on his back. He moved towards the TARDIS and walked inside the phone box. "I still have to try. For Derpy's sake." He said as he started up the TARDIS. The TARDIS started disappearing, making it departure sound that echoed throughout the entire field. The Doctor wasn't traveling through time, he was traveling to another place. He had to help Derpy because he wasn't just going to leave her there. He looked down at her, hoping that he would be able to save her. Only time will tell. "There has to be a way. There HAS to." The Doctor said, stroking Derpy's cheek. The Doctor look up as he realized that they had arrived at their destination. He now knew what he must do.
