Sari and her fellow gypsies head into the heart of Equestria and into the little town of Ponyville. Into its fourth anniversary the town is rejoicing in celebration. The party doesn’t end as expected however and it soon becomes apparent just how different the two crowds are.
Loud, obnoxious, and rude, who could get along with such ponies? The travelers ask themselves.
Sari's mother seems to know more about the town than she lets on, has she been here before? Why does she refuse to talk about it?

Upset and offended, the caravan might not heed the resident’s advice about the Everfree forest.

Little Sari didn’t want to be part of the turmoil but the events unfolding were destined to mark herself and the town forever.
