//-------------------------------------------------------// The Adventures of Rarity -by TheGreatAndPowerfullHaje- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue “And I saw for myself the face of vengeance and he was a gray horse, clothed in darkness. And death followed with him.” Darkness, it crept over the landscape the only source of light was a small town in the distance by the name of Ponyville.  On top of a hill looking over Ponyville, five dark silhouettes stood guard, watching the sleeping town.  They didn’t know they were being watched themselves. Observing them through a scoped rifle, was a dark figure wearing a long worn trench coat. Masking his face was a dark helmet. Two ponies with Stetson hats and lever-rifles covered his flanks. The noise of thunder in the distance masked the first shot. Taking out one of the distant sentries.  The other silhouettes didn’t notice the decrease in their number. The Dark Figure started moving to up the hill closing the distance between him and the silhouettes. *Flash*He stopped and stared through his scope once again. *2*3*4*5*  A second roar of thunder sounded and a second sentry was dead. He had almost completely closed the distance when the third sentry spotted him but before he could warn the others he had a knife through his throat. Just two more lives to end. He levitated his rifle aimed towards the last two targets. *Flash* *2*3*4*5* *BAM!* and another was dead.  Out came his revolver out of its holster and he aimed it at the  last Target. The target  started to turn around. He was however, too late. And last things he saw were the dark figure and his rifle. Followed by a flash. Five lives had came to an end that night. The Dark Figure looked over Ponyville the eyes in his helmet glowing softly. “Sir?” A mares voice said as one of the ponies wearing a Stetson came up behind him. “What do we do with the bodies.” The dark figure said nothing his gaze still fixed towards Ponyville. “Sir are you alright?” He magically gripped his revolver more tightly, his eyes focused on a certain boutique on the edge of town. “I’m fine." He sighed. "Bury the bodies, or dump them in the forest. I don’t care. Just make sure that they won’t be found. No pony must know about this…..” “Luna, I have but one request under this starry night. If I am to forfeit my life in the hours to come, please see that I am not buried here, but allowed to return home, to where the timber wolfs howl. The place of my father and mother. Where the Everfree Forrest lies. And you, watch over us.” The Great and Powerfull Haje presents: The Adventures of Rarity. My Dearest…No, that won’t work. My name is Rarity…no, no, no, of course my name is Rarity, you know this. My apologies, I’m not good at something like this. I’m not even sure I want to do this, but I must. The reason I’m doing this, is… well.. It’s because somebody needs to know, and it might as well be you. And because I trust you. And in my way even love you. Now, some of the things I’ll tell you, you won’t believe. But trust me, I’m telling the truth. You might not like all the thing you will learn about me, but I can’t change what happened or who I am. I just hope that at the end of this you will still be my friend. There’s a storm going on outside, it’s not raining yet but I can hear the thunder. I used to be scared of this weather, as a little filly I would hide under my sheets for hours at a time. But lately I’ve grown to appreciate it. Reminds me of you in a way. Anyway I’m jumping around the subject. I do that sometimes. Well,  let me start at the beginning… ================[Author’s notes]=================== Well this is something new I’m working on, a story focused on Rarity and a great adventure she sets out upon. It might get dark a few times and you might not like the darker side Rarity and some other characters will be portrayed with. And if anyone would like to help me with editing I would really appreciate it because English isn’t my first language and I’m a really bad at finding my own mistakes.
