Chapters One lovely day in the Carousel Boutique, Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash
Were packing bags for a vacation Rarity only knew about. Rarity was more excited than Pinkie Pie when she found out a bakery were selling free cupcakes. Rarity couldn't keep a straight face anymore she had to smile widely and say,"Girls, I think it's about time I tell you why we're going to Canterlot's best mansion!"
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes "It's about time."
"Well, Pinkie drum roll please."
Pinke grinned and got her drum out and started playing the drum
"Thank you. We're getting coltfriends!"
Rainbow Dash stared then glared at Rarity,"WHAT?!"
"Um, Darling?"
"I am NOT getting a coltfriend!"
Applejack walked up to Rainbow and put a hoove on her shoulder "Calm down, Sugarcube."
"Calm down! How?! I have more things I have to focus on!"
Twilight stepped in,"Um...girls, the train leaves in ten minutes."
Rarity levitated all the bags and quickly said "Well Let's go now! Rainbow Dash you're getting a coltfriend and that's that!"
Rainbow just accepted what Rarity said and responded with an, "Ugh...Fine."
On the way out she thought
"Sometimes I think I'm too nice to them."
Rarity was so excited to visit Canterlot. Rarity could just jump out of her skin.
But for Rainbow it was very different. She was having a stressful day so far. She didn't have her daily nap, Pinkie Pie was annoying the hell out of her, and SHE HAD TO GET A COLTFRIEND!
ugh! This is so dumb. Who needs coltfriends when you have the Wonderbolts. Like their THE Wonderbolts who can ever say no to them?
"Rainbow?"
"Hmm?" Rainbow Dash turned to see who it was "What do you want, Twi?"
"Well I just wanted to tell you that the girls and I know who's at Canterlot and -"
"And it's going to be a sappy stallion that is going to be willing to date me, just in case you didn't know sappy is not my type."
"I know, Dash you didn't let me finish... I was going to say that Soarin the Wonderblot is going to be there."
Rainbow's ears shot up "Did you just say Soarin?!"
Twilight knew her reaction was going to be like this "Yes I did.,
"OmigoshOmigoshOmigoshOmigosh!"
While Rainbow Dash was fangirling Rarity walked up to Twilight "I guess you told her about Soarin, didn't you?"
"Yeah, but what If Soarin doesn't want to date her? Do know how mad she's going to get?
"
"Well I know it's not ladylike to take risk but, I have to do this for her, Darling."
Twilight was still not quite up for this Soarin thing but, she knew how bulky Rarity can get "Fine."
Rainbow was finally done with her fangirling
"But, you said that were going to be DATING the stallions there?"
"Only if they want to." Twilight said
"But what if So-" Rainbow was cut of by Pinkie Pie "Will there be cupcakes I LOVE cupca-" Rainbow shoved her hoof in Pinkie Pie's mouth
"Ahem. As I was saying, what if Soarin kicks me out of the Wonderbolt academy BECAUSE I date him?"
Rarity was about to say something but, Fluttershy beat her to it
"Um... Why would he kick you out? I-if you don't mind me asking..."
Rainbow sighed before answering, "Because Soarin and I used to be the best of friends." Rainbow smiled to herself as she continued her story.
FLASHBACK
Rainbow Dash and Soarin usually walk home together after school, since they live close to each other. When they would walk home they would be so happy, but today was different. Soarin thought to himself 'She's been like that the whole day, it's time I ask what's wrong.'
Soarin hesitated before speaking "Rainbow, what's wrong?"
"N-nothing." She answered
"Rain, something is wrong, and as your best friend I need to know what's wrong."
By hearing Soarin's soft, comforting words she inhaled.
"Promise not to freak out?"
"I'll try my best."
"Okay, I'm... Gosh, why this is so damn hard!"
Soarin was now concerned that he asked the question too soon.
"Dashie, was-"
"No! I-I have to say it! ... I'm moving."
Soarin was confused. "Houses?"
Rainbow didn't want to say it, but Soarin had told her before that she could tell him anything.
"No, Schools. A-a new city."
Soarin's heart was shattered, "Why, Dashie? Why?"
Dash was tearing up "Soar, please it wasn't my choice. I tried telling my mom and dad that i did-"
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME DASHIE?!" Soarin shouted
Rainbow Dash's eyes widened, this was the first time Soarin had shouted at her
'I'm sorry." Rainbow said with tears streaming down her eyes
"NO!! I had enough, don't talk to me again!" Soarin said before walking away from Dash
And with that Rainbow walked home by herself.
Rainbow Dash wiped away a few tears when she finished the story. "But, Y'know I didn't need him anyways."
All the girls came to hug Rainbow to make her feel like they were all there for her no matter what.
"It's alright, sugar. No need ta cry. We're always here for ya, ain't that right, girls?" Applejack asked in a sweet tone.
Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity all nodded and replied with a "Mhm."
They all stayed like this as they approached Canterlot.

The train stopped as the girls pulled away from Rainbow Dash. Rainbow isn't one to be nervous, but the thought of seeing Soarin again wanted to make her vomit.
"I hope Soarin got over the fact that I moved when I was younger." Rainbow thought as they got of the train.
Fluttershy saw the nervous look on her oldest friend's face "Rainbow, are you okay? You look a bit scared."
Rainbow Dash wasn't really paying attention to Fluttershy "Yeah, I'm ner- I-i mean no, I'm not nervous. I don't get nervous." Rainbow chuckled
"Um... okay, I guess." Fluttershy walked away from Dash, but wasn't very convinced that she was okay.
Rainbow mentally slapped herself as she yelled at herself in her head "WHAT. THE. HELL. WAS. THAT. You don't even have the guts to tell your oldest friend that you're nervous! So much for being brave."
Pinkie noticed that Rainbow was behind "What's cookin', good lookin'?"
"Nothing."
"THEN HURRY THE HELL UP!" Pinkie screamed in her ear
"GAH! Okay okay!"
Once Rainbow caught up with the others Applejack spoke up, "Uh, Rarity, how far is tha mansion?"
Rarity smiled sheepishly "Two miles."
"I can teleport us there." Twilight said
Rarity grinned "Thank you, dear."
And in seconds they were gone.
Rarity jumped up and down "OOO! We're here!"
"Um... do we have to knock?" Fluttershy asked.
"That will only be the polite thing to do." Rarity replied before she knocked on the door to the mansion.
The door opened reviling Soarin "Hey girls." Soarin said not noticing Rainbow who was ducking behind her friends.
"Howdy, Soarin!" Applejack said "Nice ta see ya!"
"Are you the mare who made me that pie at the Grand Galloping Gala?" Soarin asked hopeful
"Ya got that right!"
"Will you be able to make pie again? I really loved that pie."
"Sure!' Applejack said with a happy smile.
"Yes! Come on in girls!" Soarin said beckoning them.
When the girls walked they say Cheese Sandwich, Flash Sentry, and Fancypants
"CHEESE!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed and ran to go hug him "I missed you SoOoOO much!"
Chesse Sandwich hugged Pinkie Pie back "I missed you too!"
"Pleasure to see you again, Miss Rarity." Fancypants said as he approached her.
"Good to see you, too." Rarity said
"Hey Twi!" Flash said
"Oh, h-hi Flash." Twilight blushed lightly at the nickname Flash used for her.
Since Fluttershy and Applejack weren't ready for dating yet, they went outside to see the pool and leaving Rainbow right where Soarin could see her.
Soarin's eyes widened as he saw Dash "Dashie?"
"DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT!" Rainbow cursed in her head
"Hi Soar." Rainbow said uneasily
Soarin grinned "Wow, it's been forever!"
"Yeah, um... how are you doing."
"Good. You?"
"Fine." Rainbow said flatly
Soarin didn't want to end the conversation now, so he asked "Do you want to get something to eat?"
"Sure." Dash said.
"Soooo, how old are you now?" Soarin asked
"twenty-one." replied Rainbow Dash
"It's been four years since I've seen you."
"Mhm." Rainbow hummed
Soarin noticed her tone "Hey, look I'm sorry for shouting at you okay i was just mad."
"Yeah. I noticed four years ago." Rainbow pouted
"Gosh, she's so adorable when she pouts like that.
Wait, what are you thinking Soarin. I'm a damn weirdo."
Rainbow spoke up "I gonna go sit down, do you want to join?"
"Yeah. Let's go."
After talking for a while it was getting late, soon everybody came in and went to bed
"I had a great time today. But I'm really tired, I'll see you tomorrow." Rainbow said
"Okay, goodnight, Dashie." Soarin replied
"Night."
After saying "goodnight" Soarin turned of the lights and went to bed.

The next morning, Flash Sentry got up first and made breakfast for Twilight. He was used to waking up early since he was a guard for the Crystal Empire. Flash wanted to impress Twilight so she would fall in love with him. Of course, he was confident because, by Twilight's body language, he could tell she already liked him.
Flash was done after fifth-teen minutes, so he headed to Twilight's room. Once he walked in he made sure to be quiet so he could surprise Twilight with what he made. Flash set the the food on the nightstand and nudged Twilight. He lightly blushed as Twilight stirred.
"Ngh, five more minutes," Twilight demanded half awake
Flash smiled, "No, Twily wake up now, please."
Twilight's eyes shot open "Flash?! What are you doing here," Twilight inhaled before she hummed "And, what is that delicious smell?"
Flash grinned "Oh! You noticed," Flash brought Twilight the tray "It's the breakfast I cooked for you. I really hope you like it, Twilight!"
Twilight's cheeks turned a light pink, she wasn't used to people being so nice to her. Especially stallions. Twilight was a young mare with still alot of things to learn in life but sometimes she could get a bit... desperate.
"Thank you, Flash I'm sure l will like them," Twilight took a bite of the pancakes first "Wow Flash these are so yummy! Where did you learn how to make these."
Flash smiled "My mom."
Suddenly they heard a bang and what sounded like Rainbow Dash's voice
"Buck!"
Then Rarity's voice
"Rainbow Dash! That is not a ladylike thing to say!"
"Well sorry, Ms.Ladylike that pan is hot!"
"Why would you put your hoof on a pan anyways."
"I just set my hoof down!"
Rarity rolled her eyes "On a pan?"
"S-shut up!"
"Rainbow, now I have to clean up all the batter that went in my mane because, you waved your hoof around like a mad mare!"
"Rarity, it's just a mane," Rainbow said, thinking that Rarity was overreacting
Rarity let out a dramatic gasp, "Rainbow Dash! It is not JUST a mane! Do you know how many times l need to brush my mane before l get my proper beauty rest." Rarity said with a flip of her hair
"That's why i don't comb my mane." Rainbow Dash said with a hoof on her puffed out chest
"Wha-wa-waaa! You don't brush your mane?! No wonder your mane looks so short, It must have all those locks in it!" Rarity exclaimed "Plus, how are you going to impress that Wonderbolt if you don't brush your mane?" Rarity said in a sing-song voice
"RARITY! RAINBOW DASH!" a voice came came from the hallway
Rarity and Rainbow Dash looked to see who it was, and as expected it was Twilight, scowling then while trying to shoo a Flash Sentry back into the room she slept in. "Why are you being so loud? There are other ponies sleeping you know!" Twilight whisper yelled
"But, you just yelled in the hallway," Rainbow said with a sly smile
"Ugh! ANYWAYS , just try to quieter, please?"
"Okay, sorry Dear." Rarity apologized
"Uh, yeah we'll be quieter this time," Rainbow smiled sheepishly
Twilight smiled "Thanks girls."
Once everyone woke up they had breakfast, (minus Twilight and Flash who were outside.) Soarin and Dash were talking about their life over the past few years, Rarity and Fancypants were talking about some designs they should do in the future, Cheese and Pinkie were talking about cake, and Applejack and Fluttershy were talking about how their pets were doing.
"So, do you have any siblings?" Soarin asked
"I have a 'sister'," Rainbow said making motions with her hooves "and l have a biological sister."
"Oh, Really," Soarin said surprised "What are their name?"
"Well," Dash started "l have a sister in Ponyville which she likes to tell people I'm her sister, there's nothing wrong with that by the way." she chuckled "And my real sister she's really inactive, her name is Fleetfoot."
Soarin looked at Rainbow Dash and blinked "Y'know she's in the Wonderbolts right?"
"I just told you that she doesn't talk to me alot,"
"So, Miss Rarity what kind of designs will you be making for my group, again?" Fancypants asked
"Oh, Fancypants before I go on l must insist that you call me Rarity, please. Anyways, it will just be simple sequin dresses and suits."
"Wouldn't that be a bit to sparkly?"
Rarity thought for a second before saying "I'll go easy with the sparkle." she smiled
"Oh! Oh! Oh! What about chocolate cake?" Pinkie said, nearly screaming
"I got a good one what about cheese cake!"
"Yes! i just love cheese cake!" Pinkie exclaimed
"Then, let's go make it!" Cheese said dragging Pinkie into the kitchen
"So, how's Winona doing," Fluttershy smiled before she continued "I heard she got a little coltfriend."
Applejack smiled, Fluttershy was always the one who asked about her dog "Yeah, she fell in love with tha dog at the first sight."
"Oh, that must have been really nice to see her happier than usual." Fluttershy said and sweetly smiled
"Best feelin' in the whole world."
Fluttershy was about to say something but, Rainbow called out to them
"Hey guys, we're gonna head outside. Wanna come?"
"Sure." everyone said before heading outside to the pool
Walking trough the doors, they weren't greeted like how Twilight or Flash would
"Um, y'all?" Applejack called before everypony turned around "Where's Twilight an' Flash?"

Chapter 4
Rarity was the first one to speak "I don't know," she turned around and looked in the direction of the pool, blinked, and yelled with a dramatic gasp "WHAA? Where are they?! They were just here, a-and now their gone?! THIS IS, THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING." she said before she fainted.
Everyone looked at Rarity, before Pinkie Pie spoke up "Y'know I have to go with Rarity with this one," She said before galloping everywhere and shrieking "AAAHHH!!" She screamed running on her hind legs and waving her hooves up in the air.
Everyone looked at Pinkie in confusion. "Um... how is she doing that?" Soarin whispered in Dash's ear.
"I stopped wondering years ago," she replied "And, don't even try wondering cause- just don't think about it, kay?"
"Alright."
Applejack stopped Pinkie with a hoof in her face, which she crashed in to. Applejack glanced at Pinkie Pie and sighed "C'mon y'all, let's go find them."
"Um... Twilight? Are you sure this is a good idea? When you said that you wanted 'privacy' I didn't think it would be, flying ALL the way back to Ponyville and walking through the Everfree forest," Flash stated "Plus, if your friends and the colts find us don't you think they'll be mad?" he questioned.
"No, I hope not," Twilight herself knew this was wrong but, went with her plan. She NEEDED to tell Flash her feelings. "Their nice ponies." She assured him with a sweet smile.
Sentry sighed "I just don't want you to get hurt," he paused for a brief second "You have niece on the way..."
Twilight looked down.
Flash instantly regretted what he said. "No. No. I-I didn't mean it like that," He stuttered "I meant tha-" Twilight put a hoof in front of him to make him stop
"Flash," she started "Uh, I brought you out here because... I want to tell you something," she said
Flash perked up "I need to tell you something too. Let's just say it together," he said before he started counting "Okay. 1... 2... 3,"
"I like you!" they both said. They instantly looked at each other, blushing a shade of light pink. Not knowing what to say. Staring, was all they could do, before thier muzzles got closer and closer. once their lips touched they shared a loving kiss, nothing rough, just a nice kiss.
Once they pulled away, they decided to head back to Canterlot.
"Ugh! Where could they be? My hooficure is getting runined!" Rarity whined with a pout
"Uh... we've been walking for five minutes," Fluttershy stated
"Let's forget about that we have to find Twilight and Flash!" Rainbow said
"Well... that won't necessary," Everypony looked up to see Twilight and Flash "... anymore." Twilight said before she squeaked
Rainbow turned around and stomped back to the mansion while growling, Fluttershy and Soarin went after Rainbow. Pinkie was putting frosting words on a cake she pulled out the words on the cake read 'I'm Mad/sad... ' followed by a frowny face. Applejack, Rarity, and Fancypants were staring at the two ponies in rage. Cheese Sandwich was floating in the air with balloons and said "C'mon guys! It's hot like a potato out here!"
"WHY DID YA JUST LEAVE LIKE THA!" Applejack yelled at Twilight and Flash "AH WAS WORRIED SICK, EVERYPONY WAS WORRIED SICK!
"Look we just wanted sometime alone," Twilight explained, hoping that Applejack will understand.
Applejack calmed down a bit "Well ya could've just ASKED ! We would have gave y'all time," She looked back at the rest of the ponies, the only thing that caught her attention was Rainbow Dash... Crying ?
"T-tha can't be right. " Applejack rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things. But, Rainbow Dash actually crying and Soarin was trying to comfort her. Applejack knew that Dash cared about her friends dearly, but she thought that she would be furious , not sad.
Twilight got a glance a Rainbow Dash, and felt guilty. She had NEVER made Rainbow cry before, she felt horrible, guilty, unworthy and the list went on and on.
Twilight was about to go to Rainbow but Soarin took her to his room.
"You better leave her be for a few minutes," Rarity addressed Twilight. "Let Soarin handle it, Darling."
"Dashie, are you okay?" Soarin questioned as he closed the door "I mean... l have never seen you cry that hard before,"
Rainbow looked at Soarin with puffy, red eyes "I-I Just really care for Twi. She's always been there for me,"
"Do you need a hug?" Soarin said with a smirk
Dash looked up, surprised Soarin had said that. When she was in high school he always asked her that when she was sad or angry. "Yea." she finally replied, lightly blushing
Soarin walked closer to Dash, taking her hooves and helping her stand on her hind legs. Soarin pulled Dash closer until their bodies were touching.
Dash pulled away from Soarin, but only at arm length looked into his eyes and stared in them, getting lost in that beautiful sea of Emerald. Soarin and Rainbow leaned in and shared a loving kiss.
After a brief second, they broke apart.
"Does this mean we're together now?" Soarin asked
"Baby steps," Rainbow winked

Chapter 5
Everypony in the mansion's living room waiting for Soarin and Rainbow dash to come back out from the room they entered. It's been a hour and everypony were losing their patience.
"Ugh! Where are they? it's been an hour!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed before huffing.
"Just give 'em time Pinkie," Applejack assured "I'm sure their alright..."
Twilight was panicking, she saw how Rainbow stormed off when she arrived and how she was crying. Before Rainbow's parents died, the girls met the Dash's parents, Rainbow Blaze and Firefly. Firefly told Twilight when the rainbow maned Pegasus cries she's most likely angry. Of course, Twilight knew Rainbow Dash had a hard time forgiving.
"What if she never forgives me?" Twilight asked herself "I'm the worst friend ever!"
Twilight Sparkle was tearing up. She's never been in this situation before.
"THAT'S IT!" Pinkie Pie suddenly shouted as she stomped to the room Rainbow and Soarin were in "I HAVE VERY LITTLE PATIENCE, RIGHT NOW!"
"Um, Dashie?" Soarin addressed the mare that was on his chest.
Rainbow opened her eyes "Yes?"
"Should we go back? Everypony is probably worried,"
Rainbow Dash lingered before she finally spoke, "Nah, I don't think their th-"
Right before Rainbow Dash could finish her sentence Pinkie Pie burst into the room
"Hurry up!" she screeched "We've been waiting for the longest time!"
Rainbow Dash and Soarin looked at each other as Pinkie walked out the room
Rainbow smiled sheepishly, "Yes. Yes, we should go out there..."
"A-are they coming?" Twilight asked Pinkie as she walked trough the door frame
"Yes they are," Pinkie singsonged as she sat down on the comfortable, pure hazel couch
Shortly after Pinkie Pie sat down, Rainbow and Soarin came into the room with the rest of the ponies
"Oh, Rainbow!" Twilight yelled out she tackled Rainbow Dash "I AM SOOO SORRY!" she finished as she cried
Once Twilight pounced on her, she looked to Applejack and mouthed 'What did you say? '
Applejack just simply shrugged and pointed out to Twilight
"OH! Um... It's okay, don't worry about it..."
"Really?"
"Mhm." Rainbow hummed
Twilight smiled slightly and asked "How can you be so loyal when I made you cry?"
Rainbow smiled haughty "Helooo, ELEMENT of loyalty, Twi."
"Oh yea. hehe." Twilight chuckled
"So, uh, now that's out the way," Fluttershy trotted to the group of ponies as she spoke "Can we go to the pool?"
There was a hum of "yes" and "sure".
With that everypony went outside to enjoy the warm sun and the cool water.

The next chapter is going to be a special with two certain ponies, now these specials are going to be kinda common on this story, but it will be a separate story. A break from the story (sowwy...) It will all just be fluff and that's it No drama, anger, sadness etc. just those two ponies having an awesome and sweet time!
If you're wondering why this chapter is so short, i ran out of ideas...
