Standing Stones - book 4 - The Gala
Hope was just as excited as me. We just couldn't wait for the gala considering this was the first time we ever went together. She came out of her room wearing a beautiful steampunk dress. (She carries the Stone of Time...technology related kinda. I bet you can put two and two together). Words cannnot describe how amazing she looked.
"You like it?" she asked.
"Yea!" I replied. I know that was a simple reply, but I'm a bit weird in these situations.
"Well, we best get to the train station!" We rushed down to the station and boarded the train. The gala was the next day and it was already very late into the night.
"You won't believe how long it took to convince my parents to let me go with you," Hope sighed, as she fell asleep on my my shoulder. I tried waking her up but she can be a bit stubborn at times. After two hours, we finally arrived in Canterlot. Exiting the train, we walked over to the Royal Castle where the gala was being held.
"Last time I went, six ponies destroyed everything. Best night ever!" I explained to Hope.
"Who were you with?"
"My ex-girlfriend, Bright."
"She cheat on you?"
"Yea."
"Don't worry, Pez. That won't happen as long as you are with me," she reassured me. I started to lean in, but we were interrupted by a shrill voice that cut across the ballroom.
"HEY!" yelled the mysterious, dark-yellow pony in a fancy dress. I could have recognized that voice anywhere. It was non other than Bright.
"Pez is mine!" she hissed at Hope, giving her a nasty glare.
"Bright! We broke up a long time ago!" I pleaded to her. I couldn't believe this was happening!
"Pez you are going to love me whether you like it or not!" Her harsh words left me shaking in my horseshoes. If looks could kill, I'd currently be six feet under. Hope, however, was hardly fazed.
"Bright, you are overreacting a bit. Just calm down, and we can talk about this," Hope said, trying to calm the jealous mare. Bright wasn't going to give up that easy, however, as she lunged at Hope, knocking her to the ground.
"I don't want to make war," Hope grunted, trying to maintain her composure.
"You stole Senpa- I mean Pez away from me!" Bright yelled as she charged at Hope. Soon enough, a full-fledged brawl broke out.
"SHAR MARZU BRAK!" I yelled. My shout made a deafening bang, bringing their fight to a grinding halt. The words I said were a Dovahzule power dragon shout, meaning Loud, Scream, Deafen. "You mares are acting like 5 year olds!"
"I know. It's just that I've missed you, Pez," Bright tried to say as she began to tear up.
"Bright, I know you missed me... but there are times you have to move on!"
"Yea, Pez was stupid and even HE knows it!" added Hope.
"Yea, Bright you need to move o- HEY!"
"You are kinda stupid, Pez."
"I know..."
"That's what I like about you," Hope giggled ever so playfully.
"PEZ IS MI- hey, who is that?" Bright inquired as a young colt trotted by.
"Oh, that's Record," I replied.
"Is he single?" Bright asked.
"Yea."
"MINE!" Bright yelled, leaving a just a cloud of dust where so was standing. I guess she had managed to move on.

Okay i've learned something from this. Here is my journal letting you know what I have learned!
Today I have had my first date with Hope. I've learned so much about her. She hates pears. I hate pears too... but, that isn't the point. I never thought Bright still cared about... I didn't think she ever cared about me. I will never ever go back to Bright. I am with Hope now... why doesn't she get it? I'm sure she will try to get me again... but, I am with Hope now matter what! All I have really learned is that Bright is a player. No one likes a player... well... Record might fall for her. He is a bit desperate after that break up. You know how all that is, right? I am hoping this doesn't happen again... it most likely will. It's always been that way.
That was my journal. I still can not believe that things went so horribly wrong! I'm not sure if that was fate or luck. I guess it's the same thing... is it the same thing!? Ok not I am so confused! Hope is a nice filly. She is pretty, smart, nice, and lovable! I wonder what the future holds for me and Hope. Bright is a nice filly, don't get me wrong! She is just a bit... well... very deadly. She might do the most dangerous things ever. She might try and kill me or something... she is scary! Great.... now she made me go crazy.

Today I was at the gala. It was pretty nice until BRIGHT CAME AND TRIED TO KILL ME! I mean really! WHO DOES THAT!? Okay I am going way too crazy. Well... all we can do is hope that Bright learns her lesson soon. Pez is always very nice to me which is great. If anything was gonna destroy the gala I thought it would be Pez.
Okay now that is very offensive. I am not that destructive! Okay maybe i did rip the tag off a mattress and ponyville bursted into flames... okay fine! I am very destructive but, not on purpose... it's just me being stupid.
