Rainbow's Perspective
The Next Morning

A groan escaped me as I woke up to Celestia's sun burning my eyelids. I turned to the side, trying to block out the sun as I felt one of Lee's arms fall off of my back... wait... what? My eyes opened, and I saw the bottom of Lee's chin, the tell tell brown stubble growing back. Slowly getting up, I saw I was on Lee's bare chest, and my filly bits were sitting on a certain part of him. He was naked, and I could detect the distinct smell of sex in the air.

I was also covered in sticky stuff, my tits and my filly bits especially.

Did... did Lee and I? I looked over at the human, eyeing his sleeping form before a smile broke out on my face. We did... I can't believe it... I had... I had always thought of us doing this, I mean... I know relationships aren't all about sex.. but its a nice bonus. And now that we actually did it, I felt...

"I smell... sexy times." I heard Lee grunt, clearing his throat and smacking his lips before his eyes locked on my own. "Morning, Dashie." He smiled, I couldn't help but smile back at him.

I felt my heart flutter as I locked eyes with him, I remember feeling like this when I first started liking him. I leaned down to kiss my human, Lee happily meeting me halfway and returning the gesture. The kiss lasted for a few seconds before we pulled away, Lee giving me a grin.

"So... judging from the fact I am balls to the walls naked, and you're on top of me, and it smells like sweat and sex in here..." At my nod, he said, "awesome." He leaned back, smiling as I flapped my wings, looking at my feathers with a careful gaze.

I'd need to preen them later, they're all messed up.

I gave Lee another nod, agreeing with what he said. "Yeah..." What in the heck do I even say now? We've... we've gone the extra mile, we've done something that I've only ever thought of, I'm not sure if Lee was thinking of it though. "We finally did it." I whispered, smiling faintly to myself as I looked down at Lee's chest.

A chuckle came from him. "Were... were you really wanting this that much?" He asked me, I gave him a sheepish nod as he sat up. "Why... why didn't you say anything earlier?"

I sighed, looking away. "I... I know its going to sound stupid but..." I shook my head, "I thought that... maybe you wouldn't have wanted to do that with me..." I admitted, I... I was scared, I was scared that he would... he'd be afraid or, or maybe even disgusted but... he wasn't.

He only proved me wrong when he kissed me again, this time on the cheek. "Rainbow, we just did the bedroom dance," He said, leaning back on his elbows and giving me a smile. "Most people back on my world, they would be disgusted with me if they knew what we just did, mostly with me cause of taboos and shit." He shrugged, "but... I don't care about any of that," He sat up again, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me close to his chest. He kissed the top of my head, nuzzling me and saying, "I love you Rainbow Dash, shit, you know I'd do just about anything with you... well... mostly, hehe."

I nodded softly, nuzzling him back with a sigh. "I know, I was being stupid..." I wrapped my own arms around him, along with my wings. "I'm just happy I was wrong."

"When it comes to things like that," Lee said, "you will always be wrong."

I smiled... how did I ever get so damn lucky? Suddenly... my thoughts turned back to Lyra, and what she had said to me before... My flock... I thought about that for a few seconds. Lee's world didn't do that, and he said it was a taboo among his kind. But, Lee has been pretty accepting of everything so far...

Maybe...maybe, I could talk to him about this... I wasn't sure myself but...

It wouldn't hurt to talk to him...

Lee's Perspective

After our little cuddle session, we both took a shower to wash off the smell of one another. Now... while I wasn't against smelling like my girlfriend, I didn't want everyone in a thirty mile radius to smell our funky funk. The shower felt good, I'll tell you that much, Rainbow of course joined and I wasn't against that either. We both cleaned one another off, getting into hard to reach places, like her wings or my back. It was a glorious shower, and afterwards when we dried off... I felt...

I wasn't sure, I felt good, great even. We both had left our room and were walking down one of the halls, big freaking smiles on our faces. I swear, never in my whole life have I ever felt so frigging good. I felt happy before, sure, cause I was with my friends and had a good life in this world, but... now... now it felt better somehow. And I was loving it like nobody's business, I could tell Rainbow was the same. She had a skip in her step and a big smile on her face.

Some of the guards we passed by gave us smiles and nods, we responded with the same.

Today was a good day, I can already tell its going to be great.

"Lee!" I heard Applejack call my name, looking out ahead I saw her trotting towards us. When she saw us however, she looked confused, "What are you two so happy about?" She asked us, hehe.

"Ooooh..." I flashed Rainbow a cheeky look, she giggled to herself, pfft. She sounded like a school girl caught talking to her crush or something. "Not much, just..." I gave AJ a bigger smile, "just happy I guess, what's up?" I decided to ask her. Hehehe, I can only wonder how the others would react if they knew what just happened in our room.

For fuck's sake, you could probably smell it. Ha!

"Celestia called on th' elements, an' you as well. She said she needed our help," Applejack said, turning on her heel. "Not sure what for though."

"I'm sure its nothing too serious," I told her, a reassuring tone to my voice. I mean, Sombra was totally fucked up... sorta when I stabbed him, I'm sure he's holding back somewhere, licking his wounds.

In the Main Chamber

I was wrong... I was oh so fucking wrong.

"Do you recognize this?" Celestia asked me, holding an object towards me. A camcorder, something that to anyone else would be a simple little camcorder... if it didn't have a little keychain attached to it of a hazard symbol... colored black, with a red trim.

"Where did you find that?!" I demanded, I didn't mean to sound so... so... well, loud! But, where even did she find that?!

Celestia gave a small worried look before levitating it over to me. I took it from her, checking it over. "A group of students found it on a nature hike, not too far away from Fillydelphia." Celestia informed me, "Lee..."

I felt my heart catch in my throat when I saw some dried red stains on the end of it, "I know this camcorder," I said...

"Camcorder?" Twilight asked, giving me a puzzled look along with everyone else.

I blinked a few times, shaking my head and saying, "Its like your cameras, only smaller and not... so... grainy." I told them, getting some ahhs. "This... this was my friend's Camera." I added, how... how did it get here?! Unless...

"Lee... who's your friend that owned this device?" Celestia questioned me, I looked up and saw her give me a concerned gaze. Everyone did, even Rainbow.

I sat down on one of the chairs nearby, "Back... four, five years ago... I met this guy during my collage days, he was someone who helped me get through some tough times." I thought about him, I hadn't seen him since the night I ended up in this world after leaving that bar. He had come with me and helped me fight against those dudes... I never found out what happened to him. "He was with me through thick and thin, just like Ann..." I whispered, those two were my best friends back on earth.

I think some of them were a bit worried about me... they had every right to, I didn't know how to feel about this... in my hands was one of the things belonging to one of the best fucking friends I've ever had, and it had dried blood on it.

Alex... what happened to you? I wondered.

"Lee, are you... okay?" Rainbow asked me, coming up to my side and sitting by me.

I sighed, I don't think I ever told them all about my human friends... "Before I came here," I started, getting their attention as they all sat near me. Luna and Celly side by side in front of me, with the elements on either side of them with their sisters, and Spike. "I had two friends... two very good friends." I thought of them, both, one a childhood friend and the other, a complete stranger who helped me through collage and stayed my friend for some time. "Alex and Ann, I'll never forget them for sticking with me throughout life." Looking at them, I held the camera up, "This is Alex's camera... and if its here..."

"Then Alex might be too." Rainbow finished for me, I gave her a nod.

"I've sent out several of the Royal Guard to investigate the area where the camera was found," Celestia explained to me, "If he is indeed out there... we will find him, Lee... I promise." She told me, giving me a smile.

I returned her smile, I hoped he was okay, assuming he was here, that is. I looked at the camera, it was scratched up, but it looked to be in good working order. I opened up the flip screen, and when I held the on button... it buzzed to life.

"Whoa," Scootaloo Ooo'd from my shoulder, how did she... never mind. "Can you show us something cool!"

I smiled, "let's see what's on it." I hit one of the videos, looking through them. I found three on here, so I clicked the bottom one. It buzzed and crackled before the video came through, and I saw it was a snowy landscape. Oh lord. I moaned in thought, I know this one all too well. Everyone crowded around me, and before I could say anything Twilight's horn lit up before a beam of purple hit the camcorder. The light made the camera glow before I saw the video cut out, and then it appeared in the middle of the air above a crystal. I rose an eyebrow, "Uhh..."

"Magic~" Twilight told me with a smile.

"Oh... right, hehe." I set the camera down in my lap, watching the video being shown on the crystal. Somehow the crystal was projecting what was on the camera, and manifesting it above it like a sort of holoprojecter... star wars much?

I saw the snowy landscape of the alps, the frost covered trees and then... I saw myself, six years earlier. Damn I looked like such a kid, I remember Alex had brought me and Ann up into the mountains, for a weekend after completing some crap at school. He had a rich dad and he pretty much got whatever he wanted, but he wasn't one of those rich people who flaunted it about everywhere and was a dick about it.

He was pretty cool about it, never bragged or anything like that.

"Its fucking cold up here!" I heard myself yell, my voice was a bit more high pitched, not as deep as it was now. Man, looking back, I was such a kid back then... kinda, more of an ass too. "Jeez, Alex!"

I heard a couple of laughs, "Is that you talking, Lee?" Rainbow asked me, I ruffled her mane.

"Oh yeah, prepare for the asshole version of yours truly, I wasn't always so mellow back then as I am now." I stuck my tongue out, watching as Alex pointed to a girl... Ann. "That's my friend, Ann."

Everyone leaned in a little closer, looking at my friend. Ann was a pretty girl, only two years younger then myself, a redhead with straight hair, green eyes and a well toned body. She was wearing some winter wear like the rest of us, colored a bright red and black color. "Man up, Lee!" She told me, grabbing onto me and making us both fall into the snow with a yelp.

Alex just laughed, the jerk! Hehehe.

"Come on you guys!" Alex yelled in the video, gripping his snowboard and camera before turning to us. "Let's shred this mountain!"

I saw Luna turn to me and give me a surprised look. "You never told me your kind climbed mountains to shred them."

I gave her a laugh, "that's just an expression, people say that when they go snow boarding or skiing," I explained, getting a face of realization from her. "We went snowboarding up in the alps that day, six years ago. It was a little bit before I met my... last girlfriend." Welp, probably shouldn't have said that, I got me a lotta looks from everyone, Luna and Celly gave me a couple of looks, "Yeah yeah I know, I'll explain later."

I watched the video as we sailed down the snow, Ann was out ahead of us, and Alex was staying behind so he could film the two of us. Our hoots and hollers filled the air, and I smiled... that day was pretty fun, we did so much... more then we have in a long time. I missed those two a lot more then I realized, I wonder...

Suddenly, the video cut out, and was replaced with the next one. Wait, why did tha-

"Shit shit shit!" I heard Alex's voice curse, the camera was on and I could see that he was running across something. "This is bad bad bad, so bad bad bad!"

I leaned forward, worry etching up in my gut. Alex, what's going on buddy? I didn't have the heart to say anything, I could only watch. What was happening?

I saw Alex turn turn the camera towards himself, and I saw he was much different. He had a small beard for one thing, his eyes filled with terror and knowing. "I knew it, I fucking knew this was going to happen!" He yelled as gunfire sounded...

Oh my god what is happening?

"Alex!" I heard Ann's panicked voice screaming, "They're coming!"

"I know!" Alex yelled back to her before turning around, he caught sight of Ann, and I saw she was different too. Her hair was longer, and she was wearing a harness with gun magazines attached to it. And she was holding an Springfield Armory M21 with a scope and bipod, she looked frantic. "Shit!" I saw Alex run over and grab something, and from the view it looked a lot like an AK-47. I saw him run over to Ann as people screamed, he knelt down and then turned the camera to himself. "Lee... I don't know where you are, or if you're even alive right now..." He gulped, looking up into the smoke filled sky. "But... where ever you are... don't come home... " He had to be on top of a building to get that kind of look into the sky... where were they? And why were they armed?!

He then stood up, turning the camera to the city... New York...

But when I saw it... it was in flames... My eyes widened, alongside everyone else's as I saw the flames engulfing buildings, jets flew over bombing several distant areas, and people screamed... but only one sound sent chills down my spine... moaning. The camera was angled down off the building they were on top of, and I saw them...

Filling the streets of my home city...

Were hundreds of undead...

"Oh my god..."

And to make things... possibly even worse... I heard Sombra's laugh echoing throughout the chamber as the doors burst open, and I saw my bat pony guards rush in.

"Sombra's back!" Breeze yelled, getting everyone's attention.

The undead... they were on my world... in my city... my friends... were surrounded by them...

I stood up, Dash falling to her hooves and looking up at me as I pulled out my sword and ran out of the room. I yelled out one thing, and there was nothing... but pure... anger... in my heart right now...

"SOOOOOOOMBRAAAAAAAAA!"
