After sitting there for another 5 minutes, Big Mac got up and turned the shower on, allowing more hot water to grace their bodies. They each washed the cum off of each other, and soon washed themselves in a fancy-smelling shower gel that Applejack had gotten from Rarity. They were soon clean, so Big Mac turned the water off, and they both stepped out, the stallion reaching for a pair of clean towels for the both of them. "AJ, I love and respect you with all my heart, but when it comes to datin', you seem to want to control what I do with mares when you're not around. Well, 'ya know what? You can't do that! I'm older than you and I can do whatever I want! You are NOT the boss of me!"
Applejack was slightly taken aback, as she wasn't used to hearing such a retaliation from her brother. At that moment, she closed her eyes, sighed, and lowered her head, realizing that everything he said was correct. She soon lifted her head and said, "I'm sorry, Big Mac, you're right. I don't have the authority to control your dating life, but I was acting that way for a reason."
"What reason could you possibly have for this kind of behavior?" Big Mac continued in an annoyed tone.
"Mac, you're my brother, but for most of my life," AJ paused as she was about to say something she had never said before, "You've been the closest thing to a father that I've had." Big Mac and Fluttershy were both very surprised by Applejack's statement. Fluttershy's face soon sported a saddened look, as she knew what her friend was getting at. "I guess I was worried when 'ya started dating that 'ya'd be gone within a short period of time, 'ya know, livin' a happy life with your wife and kids and all those shenanigans. What I'm tryin' to say is that this is all my fault. I need to teach myself to start lettin' go, instead of continuin' to prevent you from progressin' in your relationships." Both coltfriend and marefriend smiled as they knew that Applejack had learned her lesson. "Big brother, can you ever forgive me?"
Big Mac immediately drew his little sister into a hug, following it up with a kiss on her cheek. "I forgive 'ya, sis," he said, lovingly.
"I forgive you, too, Applejack," Fluttershy began, "Even if you weren't intending to apologize to me."
"Well, I was, and thank you, Fluttershy," the orange mare replied as she hugged her yellow pegasus friend. "Anyway," she continued, "You two have a good rest of your night, and I promise I won't stop 'ya from doin' what 'ya want ever again," she finished with a wink.
"Good night," the two lovers replied in unison as they waved to Applejack. Big Mac then kissed Fluttershy on the lips as they turned around and headed back to his room, the couple knowing that not only was Big Mac no longer trapped inside his lover, but also that they were both no longer trapped inside the orange mare's invisible grasp, free to do whatever they wanted as their relationship soared to new and amazing heights.
