Knightmare Steel, a unicorn with no memory of his past, travels to Ponyville to begin life anew as he seeks to regain the memories of his past. As he learns more and more about himself, he finds himself working with the Mane Six to defend Equestria from enemies of the past. Will he be able to overcome the trials ahead of him?
