The Search for Tia's Crown
Luna woke up to hear the sounds of chirping birds. She sort of liked mornings (because of breakfast and waking her sister, Celestia, up in the loudest possible way), but she preferred nighttime. But nevertheless, she always woke up before her sister.
Luna removed her covers and sat up. Then she set some of her pillows down onto the floor to walk across the room to her sisters bed. But before she started going across, she lifted an airhorn with her magic to take with her.
She tried to be as quiet as possible, stepping across the fluffy blue pillows. When she was finally next to Celestias bed, Luna levitated the air horn over to her left ear, as she was sleeping on her right side. Luna giggled quietly, right before pulling the trigger on the air horn.
"AGGH!" Celestia was so startled, she fell off the bed and onto a pillow, looking up at Luna, who was laughing hysterically. "Very funny, Luna," Celestia got up, looking annoyed at her sister.
"I gotcha again, Tia!" Luna stopped laughing and reduced to a few giggles.
Celestia smiled. "You sure did." She turns around to her bedside table, picking up her crown and placing it on her head. She lifts the air horn with her horn and sets it on her table. "Now, let's go see if Mom and Dad have made breakfast yet."
Luna follows her sister into the kitchen. "Look, Tia!" Luna runs up to the table, looking up at some pancakes.
"Wait, what's that?" Celestia finds a piece of paper with words on it. "It looks like a note."
"Well," Luna spoke with a muffle, seeing that she had instantly stuffed her face with pancakes. "Why don't you see what it says?"
Celestia lifts the note with her magic and reads it aloud. "Dear Princess Celestia,"
"Why doesn't she just call ya by your name?" Luna interrupts.
Celestia continues. "Your father and I are away on royal business. You are in charge of Luna."
"Aw, no fair!" Luna interrupts again.
"Whatever, Luna. Just please save me some pancakes."
The Search for Tia's Crown
After eating some very yummy pancakes (according to Luna, Celestia tried one, but she hated it), Luna went back to her room. "Tia, will you read me a story?"
"Sure, Luna. Which story do you want?"
"Surprise me!"
Celestia thought a minute. She went over to the bookshelf, shut her eyes, and selected a random book with her magic. She opened her eyes, looking to see which book she selected.
"How about," Celestia looks at the cover. "The Tree Princess?"
Luna had never read the story. "Okay!"
Celestia sat down on the floor, Luna sitting across from her.
"Okay," Celestia cleared her throat.
"Once upon a time, there was a beautiful autumn forest,"
She checked to see if Luna was listening. And sure enough, she was. "Keep reading, Tia!"
"In that forest, there was a tree. However, that tree had been around for 10,000 years. So had the rest of the forest. But that forest was important to the village nearby. It was their only source of oxygen."
Luna held her hooves over her mouth. "Oh no!"
"But, one day, a mysterious pony, name unknown, took a stroll through the forest. However, she would drag her hoof across all of the nature. And, magically, all of it was healed."
Luna grinned. "Yay! Cool story!"
"It's not over yet, Luna," Celestia told her.
"The mysterious pony then set up a tent in the middle of the forest, next to the tree. It was like that for 100 years until the pony died. But, rumor has it, the pony's spirit went on to the tree, keeping the forest healthy to this day."
"Wow," Luna thought that was amazing.
"Now, what else do you want to do?"
"I wanna go outside!"
