It has been a couple of weeks since the Nightmare Moon incident. Luna, trying to catch up with the times, had been looking into her subjects dreams more often and was also glad that the dreams of her subjects were normal at best. The Lunar princess was actually expecting a couple of dreams to be out of her subjects control since there exist just as many dangers in dreams as in the waking world. Since this dream seemed stable, she decides to move to the next dream. When the Princess got there, she was completely shocked at what she saw. Right before her eyes was the most impossible dream she had seen in centuries. Eight dreams were playing at once and she could tell that it was eight dreams since she could feel the presence of eight ponies as alive and not just images. She has seen shared dreams sure but not of this size and magnitude without outside help and every time she had seen shared dreams, everyone interacted between each other but in this dream, the dreams were separate yet mixing. To be more precise, in a normal shared dream there is only one world shared by everyone but in this one, there were EIGHT different worlds mixing together causing a massive mess. Another common point in shared dreams is the interactions between the ponies, for example they try to make a dream that everyone would enjoy or fight over who dreams what since ponies like to dream of different things. Not this one though. Everypony was running and playing without a care in the world. The Lunar Princess started walking around, looking at the scene before her. The dream was both beautiful and strange at once. One part of the dream was covered with a beautiful forest that was mostly blue, almost as if in water, thanks to the fact that you could see fishes and a blue bodied with a darker blue mane male unicorn, which may I add, was barely noticeable as he blended with the blue forest like surrounding, swimming around. Another was also a forest except green and made up of only flowers and inside was a unicorn mare twirling as if the ground was ice while holding a stick with flowers on its ends. In between both forests was a room with two earth pony mares playing video games inside in couch with a pegasus colt. Next to the blue forest was what looked to be a fashion show with an earth pony posing for a screaming crowd. Apparently, from Luna's eyes, part of the crowd was cut in half around the area where the blue forest and show mixed. Near the flower forest layed two similar looking parks and both parks had something similar going on. In one, a young earth pony colt was playing with a young dragoness. In the other park, both the really young colt and dragon were having a picnic. Close to the parks layed what to us looked like a japanese castle and in it was a fight between ninja ponies against a pegasus mare, who apparently was also a ninja. In the last one was a unicorn colt or at least that's what Luna though he was since she couldn't see him properly. He was also fighting something but the fashion show was in the way of where the colt was fighting. Whatever the colt was fighting was, the princess couldn't see it, or even where he was because it was the only dream that didn't mix properly. For whatever reason, they didn't notice her enter and seeing as this looked like a very delicate and unstable dream, she decided not to mess with it, especially since there were far too many ponies in the dream. After she finished looking, she noticed that one of the ponies that was in control of the dream was going to crash into another. "Watch out!!!" Screamed the Lunar Princess. To her surprise, the ponies went through each other like ghost and the strangest part, or at least for the Princess, was that they didn't look at each other almost like they weren't even there. After a while of freak outs over happenings in the dream, the Lunar Princess notices it was time for the night to begin so she decided to leave. As she left the dream, eight pair of eyes turned to her direction, then to each other and nodded. After that, one of the eight ponies, the young unicorn stallion that was fighting, chased the Lunar Princess. Back in Canterlot Castle, the princess was getting herself ready to rest for a while and just enjoy her own dream. Once she fell asleep, she sensed a strange presence in her dream. "Who's there!? Show thyself!" Commanded the Lunar Princess. "Of course, my princess." Luna turned immediately only to see one of the eight ponies from the strange shared dream right behind her bowing like a knight. She immediately backed away from the stallion the moment she saw him. "Who are thee and how has thou enter our dream?". Questioned the princess, while preparing herself for the worst. " I am Dreamy Blaze," answered the mysterious stallion, "and I'm here to thank thee for visiting m... our dream and worrying about us, it means the world to me and my seven friends." Suddenly changing from a serious attitude to a relaxed one the stallion said, "As for the second question, all I had to do was follow you and I did it so that I can see that you, Princess Luna, had an awesome yet relaxing dream, as well as the whole thank you part from earlier." Now that Princess Luna could see him properly, the stallion had white fur with a very light yellow mane, to the point that it almost looked white. His mane was also unnaturally long for a stallion since it almost reached his feet and just as unnaturally it looked really soft too, but it also had chameleon tail like look. He was wearing a red suit that could very easily have been confused for a skin tight suit if it wasn't for the fact that you could see some areas where it stretched out a lot, specially at the part that reached the hand and whooves. On his chest was triangular chest plate that had very thin black stripes going from the top to the point at the bottom. The whole chest plate was a slightly stronger yellow when compared to his mane. He wore light blue shoes that clashed horribly with his clothes. He wore a red bird like helmet on top his head and his could only be seen through yellow triangles on the helmet. Behind him was a massive green cape. Luna was shocked at what the stallion had just said. For centuries, she has never found another pony that could travel through dreams before but what really caught her off guard was his last bit of information. He wanted her to have a good dream. He wanted to give the princess of the night a good dream. If Princess Luna had been raised differently she would of have laughed in his face at the comment because we're talking about Princess Luna here, the princess of the night, the one in charge of making sure other ponies got good dreams. Instead though, she gave him a chance to prove his story but was still prepared for anything. "Alright if thou thinkst thee can make us enjoy ourselves, we will make sure you get a reward." Said the princess, hiding the worry she had from allowing a complete stranger to mess with her head as well as hiding many other questions she had. "Good! Now what should the theme be?" The stallion then sat down crossing his legs thinking after a chair materialized behind him. "... I know! I'm going to base it on on nightmare moon's..." "What!?" Princess Luna screamed. She screamed so loud the stallion fell off the chair. "What was that for?" asked the stallion while raising his hand and pointing at the sky. "Are thou saying I'd be happiest as Nightmare Moon than something else!?" exclaimed the Lunar Princess. "I was going to say origins." explained the stallion while getting up. "I know the pain nightmare Moon caused you but if you think about it carefully, there are something from her to make a dream you might like." The stallion could tell the princess was still not sure about it. "Please forgive me but I don't..." Before she could finish her sentence, the stallion blinded her with a piece of cloth with so much speed that she couldn't even react. "No peaking now..." Before the princess could voice her questions, her surroundings started to become very loud. "What have I done?" Princess Luna thought to herself while trying desperately to remove her blindfold. The blindfold was stuck to her like tree sap on a tree. Her surroundings suddenly became very quiet until the stallions spoke up. "Done!" Said the stallion, "You can remove the blindfold now." The princess still in terror, had just removed her blindfold to see something she was not expecting at all. Right before her was all of Canterlot in front of her, cheering for the Lunar Princess as they looked up to her from below, like if it was just another regular old day of festivities. "Whaaat? I thought thou said the dream was based on our time as Nightmare Moon?" Asked the now very confused Lunar Princess. "I said the origins of Nightmare Moon. If you're curious how I know that it's because I had gone to your sisters dreams to see if I can do something to make her more relaxed because you know, she is a ruler of Equestria after all. While doing so, i learned about her sweet tooth problem and I attempted to convince her to not eat as many sweets." Blaze said, "I failed, horribly. I think she started eating even more after that." After suppressing a small chuckle and regaining her composure, the lunar princess spoke up with shock in her voice after realizing what was going on or better said, what he had just done. "What, when... never mind how in Equestria can you do all of this," asked Luna, pointing at the massive crowd of ponies, "I have never found another pony with this type of ability and skill before, except for me of course." "It was years of care and practice causing dreams and nightmares to random ponies that I learned how to do this properly. Doing this is practically my life because I was stuck here with no way out for a couple of years." he said. He got close to Princess Luna and whispered "It was not pretty." For the first time that night, Luna felt relaxed around the intruder, to the point that she started to like him since he didn't appear to be scared of her while everybody else still was. She found herself enjoying the way the colt acted around her, being silly all the while being respectful. She also felt somewhat sympathetic at what he said but didn't press on just in case it would make him sad. She turned to look at him but noticed that he appeared to be much shorter than before. After some thought, as well as looking around, she realized that she herself was as tall as her sister in the waking world. She turned to her right and saw her sister Celestia. She looked exactly how Luna looked outside the dream. "This is what I meant by basing it on Nightmare Moon," the stallion said, "I saw your sister dreaming about the reason why you turned into nightmare moon, so, through a couple of adjustments and experimenting, I made it so that your are the older one as well as the more popular one." After the explanation, and a bit of cheering from the crowd, Blaze, the now much younger Celestia and Luna enjoyed the rest of the dream while having a lot of fun. She played, worked and pranked some of the staff alongside Celestia and Blaze. Everything felt so real to Luna, which felt new to her as she had never had such realistic dreams before. After seeing what he was capable of, she decided to do something she never thought she would do. I mean Meeting CelestiaThe following night, after raising the moon. "Luna where are you going?" Asked Celestia after seeing her sister ready to leave the castle. "I'm going to pick someone up, Tia," said Luna double checking h stuff, "as to who I'm going to pick up is a surprise I have planned for thee." Celestia, a tiny bit confused and worried, did the sensible thing any older sibling would do, or at least any older siblings that gives freedom to their siblings would do, says be careful on your trip only to follow her later, to not only make sure she is safe but to also feed her curiosity. Or that was the plan until Luna said "Please do not follow me as I know your are planning sister." Celestia although was frustrated about being found out, she decided not to follow her since she was forced to promise. Or at least that's what she wanted Luna to think, again. She was lucky the Lunar Princess hadn't caught her this time. As Luna left the palace, looking for Blaze's home with a small idea as to where she was going and what she was going to do but didn't know she was being followed by a disguised Celestia and a mysterious shadow. "Where is she going?" Celestia said. Any of you that are curious as to what Celestia is wearing, she was wearing a pair of sunglasses and a big jacket that also had a hood. As to why she was wearing sunglasses, only she would know. They soon reached a small park where, according to what Luna's magic had told her, was where she could find the sleeping stallion. This baffled her to no end as she found no sign of the unicorn that was supposed to be there waiting for her or a home for growing stallion to begin with. While she was looking around, she never realized that two pair of eyes that were following her. "Now what is she looking for?" Celestia said to herself while hiding behind a bush, not noticing that a pair of hands were closing in to her head. When she saw the hands closing in on her, she shrieked in fear as she jumped up for second only for the pair of hands to grab her by her mouth pull and her down quickly. Luna turned around thinking that she might have heard someone scream behind her but went back to looking around for Dreamy. Celestia was panicking as the mysterious shadow shushed her quiet. After a few second he let go of her only for her to scream again and be grabbed by the mouth and shushed again, only this time the shadow dragging her to a different bush just in case Luna decided to go to the source of the scream. The shadow by this point was confused as to why he wasn't in the moon or in tartarus by this point since he had just forcefully shushed the princess of the sun in what would look like trying to either kidnap or kill way. Knowing that the princess was most likely to scream again, the stallion decided to take out his trump card. "Please don't scream again unless you want Luna to lose respect for you for breaking your promise," said the mysterious shadow, with a voice Princess Celestia felt was familiar, "as to how I know this, I will tell you later, right now I need to make an amazing entrance." The shadow made a pose as he finishes his sentence, still not letting go of the panicking Celestia. the shadow thought it was a miracle that what he said had work, since Celestia only looked annoyed instead of angry and he was not on the moon. He then let go of her. waited a bit to make sure nothin was going to happen and after knowing that Celestia was just going to sit there with an annoyed look, the shadow jumped as high as he could, which scared Celestia since she didn't see that coming. Luna heard leaf moving and turned around. What Luna saw astounded her. A shadow had suddenly jump high in the air right in front of the moon and landed with surprising ease a couple of hooves away from Luna. A few seconds after landing, he bowed to Luna and thanks to the light Luna's moon gave, she recognized him to be Dreamy Blaze. "There thou are." Luna said, using the royal Canterlot voice. Those who do not know what the royal Canterlot voice is, it's just screaming without screaming. "Thou definitely know how to make an entrance" "Got to impress my new teacher whenever possible is what I think." said Blaze flinching a bit nice his ears were bleeding. Blaze did a hand movement that told Celestia that they were going back to the castle soon and did what she was told, still annoyed at the stallion for scaring her. If any of you are curious as to why Celestia isn't just teleporting is because she wants to keep an eye on her sister. Soon after, Luna and Blaze went toward the castle to begin the lessons. Before reaching the gates to the castle, Luna finally asked Blaze a very important question. "Blaze, why do you live in a park?" Said Luna realizing how weird it is that her magic led her to a park instead of his home. "Oh that. I'm a nomad." Explained Blaze. "I don't have a permanent home because I don't have much money. Plus, its fun to look for a place to rest." Even though he said that with a mischievous smile, it still was a massive bombshell for the princess. It made Luna feel good for getting the idea of having him live in the castle. They had just entered the castle to see Celestia waiting for Luna and the pony who she felt had seen somewhere before. Luna didn't notices this but Celestia was sweating, not from running back to the castle but because she was hoping she was not caught or snitch by the mysterious stallion. "Welcome to your new home." Exclaimed Luna to Blaze. "Welcome back Lulu," Celestia said and then she turned to Blaze "And hello to you." "Sister, I present to thee..." Luna said calmly but before she could finish the sentence, the unicorn cut her off. "I'm Dreamy Blaze, new student of Princess Luna." Blaze said, saying his name and the word student with strong emphasis. After finishing his introduction, he turned to Luna and said "Sorry for cutting you off teacher but I just love to do my own introductions." As soon as Celestia heard that name alongside the word student, she remembered everything. "Yo... you... YOU ARE DREAMY BLAZE!!!" Celestia screamed at the top of her lungs as well as using the royal canterlot voice. This woke up all of Canterlot as well as almost kill both Luna's and Dreamy's ears. At this point two things were happening. One of those things was Luna. She overwhelmingly confused at what exactly happened. The other thing was Blaze. He had the most mischievous smile in his face that it would be easy to think that it was actually a malicious smile. Chapter 3: An Old Student and New Lessons (Of Sorts)"Yup, I'm baaaack." Said Blaze to the surprised Celestia. Luna had no idea what was going at that point so she did the most logical thing. "Um, Tia, what's happening?" Asked Luna. "I didn't say this before but I used to be one of Princess Celestia's student but because of reasons, I kinda had to disappear from the face of Equestria." answered Blaze since Celestia was still shocked, "I would tell you some of the reasons but I think your sister can tell it better." Celestia, having finally calmed down after the sudden reunion, answered. "Um...You see sister, Blaze here was notoriously known for having many of his magic teachers come back to me complaining about how he attacked them every time they called him or told him to use a spell." "Not my fault I was born with an unstable magic reserve and with a biology design without the ability to contain said unstable magic reserve." said Blaze. "I kinda learned how to use my magic efficiently with time but I had to deal with a lot of mistakes too. That and a lot of explosions to the face." Luna was confused to say the least. The idea that his magic reserve was unstable yet still usable was something she had not heard of but not impossible. "The only spell he could cast normally was his dream spell and even then he had trouble putting the right amount of power into it, so every time he practice there was always a warning sign up to avoid any problems." said Celestia shaking a bit. The memory of seeing an entire tower asleep with the workers making weird sleeping faces from suddenly being put to sleep and the couple of ponies who were hurt because the spell got to them before they had reached the bottom of the stairs. In a way, she was glad he was gone. "Sorry if many old accidental antics freak you out but I can say with certainty that I got many of those problems already solved." Blaze said while standing with his chest popping out. "Tis good to hear" said Luna, "But that doesn't explain why you reacted that way Tia." "The reason why I acted that way is be..." Before she could answer she remembered that if she said the reason why she was shocked, she would be caught in the act of following her sister. Blaze having seeing where this was going, said "wouldn't you be surprised if one of your old students suddenly returned after years of having disappeared from the face of the world?" Luna turned to her student and realized that he was right. She turned to Celestia and said "Sorry dear sister. It just looked out of character for you so I was curious." "It's okay Lulu." Celestia was glad Blaze had managed to wiggle her out of the situation. "Is it okay if I get private word with your student Lulu? There are a couple of things I want to ask him." "Sure." Luna turned to leave but before she opened the door she turned to look at them and saw for a second sparks appearing between her sister and her new student, and not the good kind. She shrugged it off thinking it was all in her mind. . . "So who are you really?". Asked Celestia with a look that felt like it could kill. "It really is me, your old students Dreamy Blaze and you can't deny it since I'm the only student that was separated from ALL the normal classes. The secret of the school." Blaze claimed while holding his hand in a typical anime ghost style. "As true as it may sound, I remember he was a sweetheart that wouldn't be as forward or as insensitive, unlike YOU." Celestia said while raising her voice. "You really didn't like the fact I gave you nightmares about your sweet love for sweets." Blaze said with such smugness in both his look and voice that Celestia had almost screamed at his face but was also shocked that he knew about the nightmares. That gave her the clues that that was him. "So where did you disappeared to all does years ago?" Demanded Celestia, still fighting her urge to scream at his face, she was mainly mad at the fact that he was the one giving her nightmares about her delicious sweets. "Ahh... I like to call that story the end of the beginning of the end and beginning." Said Blaze with an excited look in his face. Before he could continue, Celestia interrupted him. "That doesn't give me any hints as to what happened." "It's rude to interrupt someone when telling a story you know." Blaze said while making a hurt look which left his face as quickly as it came. "The story begins one fateful night... There I was in my room making theories on how to cast one of my spells in a more efficient way. Then it struck me. A way to cast what today is my best spell which I call Dreamify.I casted it but before I realized what was happening, I had sent myself to the dream world and as such many unspeakable things happened and here I'm today." Celestia was dumbfounded. Not by the story mind you but at what she was seeing. Behind him was a screen made of magic following his every word as he told his story. The screen showed everything that happened except the end. All the screen showed was a water color picture of him floating in darkness. "Well... that explains some of the things that happened but that also leaves more questions open then closed and that doesn't explain why you behave like you're a being chaos." Celestia stated in an uncomfortable yet serious way. Celestia was about to ask one of the many unanswered question when Blaze interrupted her. "By the way Princess Celestia, I want you to promise to NEVER tell Princess Luna about this, EVER and if you do, I will tell your sister about you following her even though you promised her not to and many other things that may or may not be true, understand?" Celestia was shocked about what Blaze said as well as his tone of voice. That and the fact that even his body mirrored what he said. He was standing in a way many soldiers stood, he was staring her right in the eyes in a very serious matter and even had the air of somebody that would kill in order to reach his goal. This both scared her and disturbed her. She stood up and walked in front of him looking straight into his eyes. Thanks to the size difference, Celestia would always look intimidating to anypony that looked up at her when she was mad or serious but it did little to nothing in affecting Dreamy's position. After a while, she sighed in defeat and went back to sit down. "Fine I'll do that. Only if you tell me everything that has been going on." Celestia demanded. "If course Princess..." Blaze said, becoming loose and relaxed again. Suddenly there was an awkward silence in the throne room that lasted a full minute until Celestia broke it. "Well are you going to tell me or not?" "Ahhhhh, you want me to tell you now? Sorry to burst the bubble but it's not the correct time to tell you the whole story yet." Blaze said with a troll look. "But seriously, I can't tell you just yet because I want it to be a surprise. That and I want a large crowd of friends around me when I release the secret." "Why you little..." Celestia didn't get the chance to finish her sentence because Luna came back inside. "Dear sister, art thou done. I want to see what type of knowledge my student knows as well as seeing what I can teach him of the dreamworld." Said Luna through the doorway. "Yes we are done Princess Luna." Blaze said with a bow. "Please, call us Luna." As they left Blaze turned around with a small jump and smiled devilishly to the Solar Princess. . . "So how much does thou know of the dream world?" Luna asked as they left to one of the castle's tower. "Well, living in the dream world for about 9 years, give or take a year or two, tends to teach you a lot about mysterious places, so I have to say I know just about the necessary like putting ponies to sleep, how to infiltrate dreams, how to change them to fit certain ways or show certain things that will be useful to said ponies. The basics." Replied the young stallion with a thoughtful look on his face. 'If only I could tell you the whole truth.' Luna turned to him wide eyed at the stallion's words. "9 years in trapped in the dream world!?" "Well it's more like 4-5 years trapped and the rest just traveling the world to increase my knowledge." Answered Blaze, like this was absolutely nothing. "How did thou end up trapped in the dream world and just how old are thee?". Questioned Luna. Blaze shrugged and said, " How I ended trapped was because of an experiment going wrong. As for how old I am, I'm 18." Blaze answered, again as if he has gone through that process countless times before. To say Luna was shocked was an understatement. She knew of a couple of unicorns that tried the same thing before but unlike him, they were never seen or heard of ever again. "How did thee survive the dream world on your own for so long?" "It's called being smart and skilled." Blaze claimed with a small smirk. "Or more like being lucky and/or having help. But enough about me. What are we studying today?" Luna begun to think, but she could only focus on what she was told of, so she came up with the best next thing. "Let's see what thou said is true or not." They went to a study close to Luna's room and started practicing. Although she had seen some of his skill, she waned to make sure he was completely prepared for anything the DreamWorld could throw at him. Unknown to her, he was more than prepared. . Week before the Great Galloping Gala . "WHY WAS I NOT TOLD OF THIS SOONER!?" Chapter 4: Gala Introductions and ShenanigansIn the last episode of When Dreams Cross Dreams... "I have been stuck in the dream world" "Let's see what you can do" "WHY WAS NOT TOLD OF THIS SOONER!?" And we now return to your regular (not) scheduled program. . Week Before Grand Galloping Gala . "WHY WAS NOT TOLD OF THIS SOONER!?" You could hear Dreamy Blaze scream throughout the entire castle. "Gaaaaah!!! Okay Blaze calm down and think. I have one week to search for the perfect plants, prepare the silk from the plants and then sow my tuxedo. But then I also the design and the... well, sowing material is easy to get but everything else is going to be a pain." Dreamy Blaze was walking in a circle talking to himself after hearing that the gala was only a week away. "My dear student, why are thou so worried about plants and such for your tuxedo. Besides we can always have our personal dressmakers make thy tuxedo." Luna said after recovering from the ear piercing shout from Dreamy. "The reason for my over reaction is because I like making my stuff by hand to keep my skills fresh. I don't want to get rusty at something I like doing. Also when I say 'make stuff by hand' I mean it literally. Down to the cloth or silk I might use. I'm a designer after all." Luna by now was used to some of the weird things her student did in occasions like this. He once was having lunch and started talking to himself, saying something about a twin sister and how she cooked great food for him and his family and was currently missing it (at least Luna though he said that) but then went quiet after saying that or the one time in the middle of a lesson he said he had to leave to slay a dragon and Princess Luna let him go thinking he was to embarrassed to say the truth about needing to go to the bathroom. This was just one of those many strange moments she strangely grew semi-used to. "So what does thou have planned?" Asked Luna. "Well, I'm currently planning on making a white tuxedo and gloves. I'll use gold and white on the edges so as to look different. Maybe I'll do a red vest or probably white I'm going to have to draw it to get the best out of it." Blaze said with arm crossing chest and the other under his chin. "Maybe if I get some cloth from... no but it's the best... but... Okay I have made my plan and now to execute it!" By that point, Dreamy's thoughts were starting to materialize showing his plans in a very simple format. This was also a common around him. He would be doing something unrelated to magic focusing too much on details that spells started casting before he realized... that is if he DID realizes he was casting the spell. Seeing Dreamy doing this reminded Luna of the accident that happened a couple of weeks after his return. . Flash Back . Luna decided to test the colt’s knowledge on regular school material (or what she though was still regular school material) and today was his Chemistry test. Topic: All Animals can Speak Potion for 30 minutes. “Got it?” Luna asked. When she turned around, she noticed that Dreamy was nowhere to be seen. She then hears a sound behind her and saw Dreamy going over all the information right in front of the board with a look of deep thought, scaring her by the sudden appearing and disappearing act. “...” Although she was not sure, she thought she heard him speak what was on the board in great detail. “... …? …!” Dreamy punched his fists together as if he was starting to understand… whatever he was doing. Luna suddenly heard sounds come from behind her. When she turned all the potions and ingredients were moving through magic. She turned back to see Dreamy still reading. Thinking for his and her safety she said, “Dreamy, please pay attention to what you are doing.” Dreamy instantly turned toward her and what she was talking about only to see herbs, chemicals and powders being mixed together. He then noticed that one of the chemicals poured into the main concoction and by pour I mean emptied into the main concoction. To make matter worse, this Potion was a super old version of a current existing one. Not only that this Potion had a history with explosive in the past. Can you guess what happens after? No. No powerpuff fillies were created. Instead it nearly destroyed the tower or would of had destroyed it had Dreamy not activated a defense spell that covered everything except for himself. He did that by accident by the way. Meanwhile, in the throne room. Celestia was about to eat cupcake when suddenly the castle shaked violently for a second. But it was enough of a distraction to make her drop her cupcake. This made her mad, specially because she though it was another prank from Dreamy. “Princess Celestia there was an explosion in one of the castle’s tower! The one with your sister and student are in!” said one of the servant ponies in a rush. With news on hand, Celestia hurried to the tower. The moment she opened the door she saw everything covered in ashes except her sister as well as other various little parts that were covered or protected by other items. She then caught sight of of ashes piled in the shape of a pony… and said ash pony was blinking with massive white eyes with grape size dot for an irese. She then realized this was Dreamy. Because of his position and actions, she burst laughing all of a sudden, which in the end ended with Celestia and Dreamy being at each other's throats even more than they were already. At least she forgot about the cupcake. The being at each others throats was never noticed by Luna. . Flash Back Ends . “... Equestria to Luna…” Luna woke up and if not for her student sudden dodge, would have slapped him to the wall. “Thank Celestia you're okay. I was waving in front of your for almost five minutes and I was starting to worry.” Luna blush very little to the point it was unnoticeable at the fact that she was caught day dreaming. “Sorry Dreamy. I was just remembering the Chemistry test I made you take.” said Luna. “Don't worry. We all make mistakes. Besides it's more fun when things go wrong, that is if no one gets hurt.” Said Dreamy. “Anyway, can I have the rest of the week off so that I can make my tux. Please…” pleaded Dreamy with puppy dog eyes. “Sure, why not.”. After Luna said that, she saw Dreamy jump in joy while raising his fists in the air. “ I won't let you down! Heck, if thou want, I can make thee a dress if thou want my dearest teacher and Princess.” said Dreamy with a bow. Knowing Dreamy’s skills when it comes to creativity in design first hand, Luna accepted his offer. . Day of the Gala . “I can't wait to meet your student and her friends.” said Dreamy excited. ‘Just imagine all the pranks and jokes I can pull on them or…’ “If you think of pranking or even joking about something with my star student, I will punish you.” Said Celestia. Dreamy bit his dumb and made noises in frustration of being found out. Before Dreamy could say something Luna stepped into Dreamy's room while wearing the homemade dress Dreamy made. It's was dark blue dress with stars on it. The bottom of the dress was light blue and got darker the higher it went. Overall it was simple yet for some reason it seemed to make Luna almost glow with… “Doesn't the dress feel a little to simple?” Asked Celestia, ruining the moment. “I like it, it screams night yet it those not make me feel imposing or controlling.” said Luna. “Well of course! I made it with the beauty of the night and Luna in mind, and of course getting rid of every ponies fear of her because of Nightmare Moon. Also I wanted to keep it simple since simple, when done right mind you, can be very effective.” said Dreamy in a very prideful voice. Luna blushed at the fact that the dress was made while thinking of her some much while Celestia was surprise at the fact that Dreamy was so nice to Luna. Specially since he practically pulled pranks and jokes on everyone that caught his attention, especially herself. “Let's get going since I want to meet your student Tia.” said Dreamy in a mocking tone to Celestia, which lucky went over Luna’s head. When they had gotten inside the Gala (second time for the Princesses since they opened the Gala earlier but kept Dreamy out of it to have his introduction to Equestria as Luna's student for the middle of the Gala, as well as their actual party dresses) it looked like a tornado had passed by. Animals were everywhere, food was being thrown and someone was laughing like a mad mare. The Princesses were frozen in place looking at the damage, specially Celestia since she new who almost destroyed the gala. Dreamy being the only one not frozen since he was used to this happening thanks to the dream world, stepped forward and took a deep breath and did the logical thing he could think which was scream in a voice level that almost reached the royal Canterlot voice. “STOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!” Everypony and object instantly stopped what they were doing. Dreamy then turned to Luna and Celestia with a face that screamed 'a job well done' and was about to say something when he started to vibrate. After a few seconds he stopped, got mad and almost screamed, “Always, always when the interesting happens. Princess Celestia, teacher Luna please get your act together. Also, I have to go since something popped up.” He then went to the entrance and left. Before he left, you could hear him talking about the timing of things always ruining the fun. After every object finally fell, along with a lot of shattering noises or bangs of metal, Celestia regained her composure and asked in a calm voice, “What is going here?” As soon as Celestia said that everypony pointed at Twilight and her friends. After a bit of confessing and a lot of apologies, the Gala ended and everyone left. Twilight and her friends along side Celestia and Luna began to talk once everyone left. “My dear student, I'm happy you made so many wonderful friends but please try to not let this happen again without warning us first.” Said Celestia to a purple unicorn with a purple mane that had a pink strip through both the mane and the tail. Said pony's name is Twilight. “Again, I'm very sorry about that Princess.” said Twilight embarrassed. “No to be rude or anything but who was that young stallion standing with you Princess?” said Rarity, a white unicorn mare with a purple mane and tail. “We were supposed to tell thee and everypony in the Gala the news of my new student but then all this happened.” said Luna pointing at the ballroom. “Wait, wait, wait. Princess Luna you have a student?” asked Twilight. “Some time after my return I was looking at my ponies’ dreams when I ran into his dream which was unstable. After getting tired of trying to fix his dream, or better said their dreams, I came back to the castle and went to sleep. He then followed me into my dream and then he showed me he had a cutie mark that allowed him to go to ponies dreams and I decided to teach him.” explained Luna straightforwardly. “He was supposed to meet thee today but this happened.” said Luna pointing to the mess, again. “Anyway I want to talk to you and your friends in my private library, so please follow…” Before Celestia could finished, the doors burst open with Blaze on the other side looking tired. “Sweet, sweet home. I missed thee, but I'm to tired to walk to bed but nnngghaaaa!” Screamed Dreamy still walking to his room. When he passed Celestia, Luna and the main six, he said hello while making a v shape with his fingers and left for his room. “Is that the new student you were talking about Princess Luna?” Asked Rainbow Dash. “Yes.” Said Luna. “Ignore him. He's… unpredictable.” said Celestia, cringing from remembering all the pranks and tricks he pulled on her. “Anyways I want you girls to tell me all about your adventures…” Luna interested in hearing the story followed Celestia secretly to listen to the quote-un-quote private stories forgetting all about Dreamy’s demeanor. What Luna didn't notice were the bright red eyes following from the shadows with a very cocky yet familiar smile.
chapter 1: Luna and her new student"Times have really changes huh," Princess Luna said. It has been a couple of weeks since the Nightmare Moon incident. Luna, trying to catch up with the times, had been looking into her subjects dreams more often and was also glad that the dreams of her subjects were normal at best. The Lunar princess was actually expecting a couple of dreams to be out of her subjects control since there exist just as many dangers in dreams as in the waking world. Since this dream seemed stable, she decides to move to the next dream. When the Princess got there, she was completely shocked at what she saw. Right before her eyes was the most impossible dream she had seen in centuries. Eight dreams were playing at once and she could tell that it was eight dreams since she could feel the presence of eight ponies as alive and not just images. She has seen shared dreams sure but not of this size and magnitude without outside help and every time she had seen shared dreams, everyone interacted between each other but in this dream, the dreams were separate yet mixing. To be more precise, in a normal shared dream there is only one world shared by everyone but in this one, there were EIGHT different worlds mixing together causing a massive mess. Another common point in shared dreams is the interactions between the ponies, for example they try to make a dream that everyone would enjoy or fight over who dreams what since ponies like to dream of different things. Not this one though. Everypony was running and playing without a care in the world. The Lunar Princess started walking around, looking at the scene before her. The dream was both beautiful and strange at once. One part of the dream was covered with a beautiful forest that was mostly blue, almost as if in water, thanks to the fact that you could see fishes and a blue bodied with a darker blue mane male unicorn, which may I add, was barely noticeable as he blended with the blue forest like surrounding, swimming around. Another was also a forest except green and made up of only flowers and inside was a unicorn mare twirling as if the ground was ice while holding a stick with flowers on its ends. In between both forests was a room with two earth pony mares playing video games inside in couch with a pegasus colt. Next to the blue forest was what looked to be a fashion show with an earth pony posing for a screaming crowd. Apparently, from Luna's eyes, part of the crowd was cut in half around the area where the blue forest and show mixed. Near the flower forest layed two similar looking parks and both parks had something similar going on. In one, a young earth pony colt was playing with a young dragoness. In the other park, both the really young colt and dragon were having a picnic. Close to the parks layed what to us looked like a japanese castle and in it was a fight between ninja ponies against a pegasus mare, who apparently was also a ninja. In the last one was a unicorn colt or at least that's what Luna though he was since she couldn't see him properly. He was also fighting something but the fashion show was in the way of where the colt was fighting. Whatever the colt was fighting was, the princess couldn't see it, or even where he was because it was the only dream that didn't mix properly. For whatever reason, they didn't notice her enter and seeing as this looked like a very delicate and unstable dream, she decided not to mess with it, especially since there were far too many ponies in the dream. After she finished looking, she noticed that one of the ponies that was in control of the dream was going to crash into another. "Watch out!!!" Screamed the Lunar Princess. To her surprise, the ponies went through each other like ghost and the strangest part, or at least for the Princess, was that they didn't look at each other almost like they weren't even there. After a while of freak outs over happenings in the dream, the Lunar Princess notices it was time for the night to begin so she decided to leave. As she left the dream, eight pair of eyes turned to her direction, then to each other and nodded. After that, one of the eight ponies, the young unicorn stallion that was fighting, chased the Lunar Princess. Back in Canterlot Castle, the princess was getting herself ready to rest for a while and just enjoy her own dream. Once she fell asleep, she sensed a strange presence in her dream. "Who's there!? Show thyself!" Commanded the Lunar Princess. "Of course, my princess." Luna turned immediately only to see one of the eight ponies from the strange shared dream right behind her bowing like a knight. She immediately backed away from the stallion the moment she saw him. "Who are thee and how has thou enter our dream?". Questioned the princess, while preparing herself for the worst. " I am Dreamy Blaze," answered the mysterious stallion, "and I'm here to thank thee for visiting m... our dream and worrying about us, it means the world to me and my seven friends." Suddenly changing from a serious attitude to a relaxed one the stallion said, "As for the second question, all I had to do was follow you and I did it so that I can see that you, Princess Luna, had an awesome yet relaxing dream, as well as the whole thank you part from earlier." Now that Princess Luna could see him properly, the stallion had white fur with a very light yellow mane, to the point that it almost looked white. His mane was also unnaturally long for a stallion since it almost reached his feet and just as unnaturally it looked really soft too, but it also had chameleon tail like look. He was wearing a red suit that could very easily have been confused for a skin tight suit if it wasn't for the fact that you could see some areas where it stretched out a lot, specially at the part that reached the hand and whooves. On his chest was triangular chest plate that had very thin black stripes going from the top to the point at the bottom. The whole chest plate was a slightly stronger yellow when compared to his mane. He wore light blue shoes that clashed horribly with his clothes. He wore a red bird like helmet on top his head and his could only be seen through yellow triangles on the helmet. Behind him was a massive green cape. Luna was shocked at what the stallion had just said. For centuries, she has never found another pony that could travel through dreams before but what really caught her off guard was his last bit of information. He wanted her to have a good dream. He wanted to give the princess of the night a good dream. If Princess Luna had been raised differently she would of have laughed in his face at the comment because we're talking about Princess Luna here, the princess of the night, the one in charge of making sure other ponies got good dreams. Instead though, she gave him a chance to prove his story but was still prepared for anything. "Alright if thou thinkst thee can make us enjoy ourselves, we will make sure you get a reward." Said the princess, hiding the worry she had from allowing a complete stranger to mess with her head as well as hiding many other questions she had. "Good! Now what should the theme be?" The stallion then sat down crossing his legs thinking after a chair materialized behind him. "... I know! I'm going to base it on on nightmare moon's..." "What!?" Princess Luna screamed. She screamed so loud the stallion fell off the chair. "What was that for?" asked the stallion while raising his hand and pointing at the sky. "Are thou saying I'd be happiest as Nightmare Moon than something else!?" exclaimed the Lunar Princess. "I was going to say origins." explained the stallion while getting up. "I know the pain nightmare Moon caused you but if you think about it carefully, there are something from her to make a dream you might like." The stallion could tell the princess was still not sure about it. "Please forgive me but I don't..." Before she could finish her sentence, the stallion blinded her with a piece of cloth with so much speed that she couldn't even react. "No peaking now..." Before the princess could voice her questions, her surroundings started to become very loud. "What have I done?" Princess Luna thought to herself while trying desperately to remove her blindfold. The blindfold was stuck to her like tree sap on a tree. Her surroundings suddenly became very quiet until the stallions spoke up. "Done!" Said the stallion, "You can remove the blindfold now." The princess still in terror, had just removed her blindfold to see something she was not expecting at all. Right before her was all of Canterlot in front of her, cheering for the Lunar Princess as they looked up to her from below, like if it was just another regular old day of festivities. "Whaaat? I thought thou said the dream was based on our time as Nightmare Moon?" Asked the now very confused Lunar Princess. "I said the origins of Nightmare Moon. If you're curious how I know that it's because I had gone to your sisters dreams to see if I can do something to make her more relaxed because you know, she is a ruler of Equestria after all. While doing so, i learned about her sweet tooth problem and I attempted to convince her to not eat as many sweets." Blaze said, "I failed, horribly. I think she started eating even more after that." After suppressing a small chuckle and regaining her composure, the lunar princess spoke up with shock in her voice after realizing what was going on or better said, what he had just done. "What, when... never mind how in Equestria can you do all of this," asked Luna, pointing at the massive crowd of ponies, "I have never found another pony with this type of ability and skill before, except for me of course." "It was years of care and practice causing dreams and nightmares to random ponies that I learned how to do this properly. Doing this is practically my life because I was stuck here with no way out for a couple of years." he said. He got close to Princess Luna and whispered "It was not pretty." For the first time that night, Luna felt relaxed around the intruder, to the point that she started to like him since he didn't appear to be scared of her while everybody else still was. She found herself enjoying the way the colt acted around her, being silly all the while being respectful. She also felt somewhat sympathetic at what he said but didn't press on just in case it would make him sad. She turned to look at him but noticed that he appeared to be much shorter than before. After some thought, as well as looking around, she realized that she herself was as tall as her sister in the waking world. She turned to her right and saw her sister Celestia. She looked exactly how Luna looked outside the dream. "This is what I meant by basing it on Nightmare Moon," the stallion said, "I saw your sister dreaming about the reason why you turned into nightmare moon, so, through a couple of adjustments and experimenting, I made it so that your are the older one as well as the more popular one." After the explanation, and a bit of cheering from the crowd, Blaze, the now much younger Celestia and Luna enjoyed the rest of the dream while having a lot of fun. She played, worked and pranked some of the staff alongside Celestia and Blaze. Everything felt so real to Luna, which felt new to her as she had never had such realistic dreams before. After seeing what he was capable of, she decided to do something she never thought she would do. Chapter 2: Reu... I mean Meeting CelestiaThe following night, after raising the moon. "Luna where are you going?" Asked Celestia after seeing her sister ready to leave the castle. "I'm going to pick someone up, Tia," said Luna double checking h stuff, "as to who I'm going to pick up is a surprise I have planned for thee." Celestia, a tiny bit confused and worried, did the sensible thing any older sibling would do, or at least any older siblings that gives freedom to their siblings would do, says be careful on your trip only to follow her later, to not only make sure she is safe but to also feed her curiosity. Or that was the plan until Luna said "Please do not follow me as I know your are planning sister." Celestia although was frustrated about being found out, she decided not to follow her since she was forced to promise. Or at least that's what she wanted Luna to think, again. She was lucky the Lunar Princess hadn't caught her this time. As Luna left the palace, looking for Blaze's home with a small idea as to where she was going and what she was going to do but didn't know she was being followed by a disguised Celestia and a mysterious shadow. "Where is she going?" Celestia said. Any of you that are curious as to what Celestia is wearing, she was wearing a pair of sunglasses and a big jacket that also had a hood. As to why she was wearing sunglasses, only she would know. They soon reached a small park where, according to what Luna's magic had told her, was where she could find the sleeping stallion. This baffled her to no end as she found no sign of the unicorn that was supposed to be there waiting for her or a home for growing stallion to begin with. While she was looking around, she never realized that two pair of eyes that were following her. "Now what is she looking for?" Celestia said to herself while hiding behind a bush, not noticing that a pair of hands were closing in to her head. When she saw the hands closing in on her, she shrieked in fear as she jumped up for second only for the pair of hands to grab her by her mouth pull and her down quickly. Luna turned around thinking that she might have heard someone scream behind her but went back to looking around for Dreamy. Celestia was panicking as the mysterious shadow shushed her quiet. After a few second he let go of her only for her to scream again and be grabbed by the mouth and shushed again, only this time the shadow dragging her to a different bush just in case Luna decided to go to the source of the scream. The shadow by this point was confused as to why he wasn't in the moon or in tartarus by this point since he had just forcefully shushed the princess of the sun in what would look like trying to either kidnap or kill way. Knowing that the princess was most likely to scream again, the stallion decided to take out his trump card. "Please don't scream again unless you want Luna to lose respect for you for breaking your promise," said the mysterious shadow, with a voice Princess Celestia felt was familiar, "as to how I know this, I will tell you later, right now I need to make an amazing entrance." The shadow made a pose as he finishes his sentence, still not letting go of the panicking Celestia. the shadow thought it was a miracle that what he said had work, since Celestia only looked annoyed instead of angry and he was not on the moon. He then let go of her. waited a bit to make sure nothin was going to happen and after knowing that Celestia was just going to sit there with an annoyed look, the shadow jumped as high as he could, which scared Celestia since she didn't see that coming. Luna heard leaf moving and turned around. What Luna saw astounded her. A shadow had suddenly jump high in the air right in front of the moon and landed with surprising ease a couple of hooves away from Luna. A few seconds after landing, he bowed to Luna and thanks to the light Luna's moon gave, she recognized him to be Dreamy Blaze. "There thou are." Luna said, using the royal Canterlot voice. Those who do not know what the royal Canterlot voice is, it's just screaming without screaming. "Thou definitely know how to make an entrance" "Got to impress my new teacher whenever possible is what I think." said Blaze flinching a bit nice his ears were bleeding. Blaze did a hand movement that told Celestia that they were going back to the castle soon and did what she was told, still annoyed at the stallion for scaring her. If any of you are curious as to why Celestia isn't just teleporting is because she wants to keep an eye on her sister. Soon after, Luna and Blaze went toward the castle to begin the lessons. Before reaching the gates to the castle, Luna finally asked Blaze a very important question. "Blaze, why do you live in a park?" Said Luna realizing how weird it is that her magic led her to a park instead of his home. "Oh that. I'm a nomad." Explained Blaze. "I don't have a permanent home because I don't have much money. Plus, its fun to look for a place to rest." Even though he said that with a mischievous smile, it still was a massive bombshell for the princess. It made Luna feel good for getting the idea of having him live in the castle. They had just entered the castle to see Celestia waiting for Luna and the pony who she felt had seen somewhere before. Luna didn't notices this but Celestia was sweating, not from running back to the castle but because she was hoping she was not caught or snitch by the mysterious stallion. "Welcome to your new home." Exclaimed Luna to Blaze. "Welcome back Lulu," Celestia said and then she turned to Blaze "And hello to you." "Sister, I present to thee..." Luna said calmly but before she could finish the sentence, the unicorn cut her off. "I'm Dreamy Blaze, new student of Princess Luna." Blaze said, saying his name and the word student with strong emphasis. After finishing his introduction, he turned to Luna and said "Sorry for cutting you off teacher but I just love to do my own introductions." As soon as Celestia heard that name alongside the word student, she remembered everything. "Yo... you... YOU ARE DREAMY BLAZE!!!" Celestia screamed at the top of her lungs as well as using the royal canterlot voice. This woke up all of Canterlot as well as almost kill both Luna's and Dreamy's ears. At this point two things were happening. One of those things was Luna. She overwhelmingly confused at what exactly happened. The other thing was Blaze. He had the most mischievous smile in his face that it would be easy to think that it was actually a malicious smile.
Chapter 3: An Old Student and New Lessons (Of Sorts)"Yup, I'm baaaack." Said Blaze to the surprised Celestia. Luna had no idea what was going at that point so she did the most logical thing. "Um, Tia, what's happening?" Asked Luna. "I didn't say this before but I used to be one of Princess Celestia's student but because of reasons, I kinda had to disappear from the face of Equestria." answered Blaze since Celestia was still shocked, "I would tell you some of the reasons but I think your sister can tell it better." Celestia, having finally calmed down after the sudden reunion, answered. "Um...You see sister, Blaze here was notoriously known for having many of his magic teachers come back to me complaining about how he attacked them every time they called him or told him to use a spell." "Not my fault I was born with an unstable magic reserve and with a biology design without the ability to contain said unstable magic reserve." said Blaze. "I kinda learned how to use my magic efficiently with time but I had to deal with a lot of mistakes too. That and a lot of explosions to the face." Luna was confused to say the least. The idea that his magic reserve was unstable yet still usable was something she had not heard of but not impossible. "The only spell he could cast normally was his dream spell and even then he had trouble putting the right amount of power into it, so every time he practice there was always a warning sign up to avoid any problems." said Celestia shaking a bit. The memory of seeing an entire tower asleep with the workers making weird sleeping faces from suddenly being put to sleep and the couple of ponies who were hurt because the spell got to them before they had reached the bottom of the stairs. In a way, she was glad he was gone. "Sorry if many old accidental antics freak you out but I can say with certainty that I got many of those problems already solved." Blaze said while standing with his chest popping out. "Tis good to hear" said Luna, "But that doesn't explain why you reacted that way Tia." "The reason why I acted that way is be..." Before she could answer she remembered that if she said the reason why she was shocked, she would be caught in the act of following her sister. Blaze having seeing where this was going, said "wouldn't you be surprised if one of your old students suddenly returned after years of having disappeared from the face of the world?" Luna turned to her student and realized that he was right. She turned to Celestia and said "Sorry dear sister. It just looked out of character for you so I was curious." "It's okay Lulu." Celestia was glad Blaze had managed to wiggle her out of the situation. "Is it okay if I get private word with your student Lulu? There are a couple of things I want to ask him." "Sure." Luna turned to leave but before she opened the door she turned to look at them and saw for a second sparks appearing between her sister and her new student, and not the good kind. She shrugged it off thinking it was all in her mind. . . "So who are you really?". Asked Celestia with a look that felt like it could kill. "It really is me, your old students Dreamy Blaze and you can't deny it since I'm the only student that was separated from ALL the normal classes. The secret of the school." Blaze claimed while holding his hand in a typical anime ghost style. "As true as it may sound, I remember he was a sweetheart that wouldn't be as forward or as insensitive, unlike YOU." Celestia said while raising her voice. "You really didn't like the fact I gave you nightmares about your sweet love for sweets." Blaze said with such smugness in both his look and voice that Celestia had almost screamed at his face but was also shocked that he knew about the nightmares. That gave her the clues that that was him. "So where did you disappeared to all does years ago?" Demanded Celestia, still fighting her urge to scream at his face, she was mainly mad at the fact that he was the one giving her nightmares about her delicious sweets. "Ahh... I like to call that story the end of the beginning of the end and beginning." Said Blaze with an excited look in his face. Before he could continue, Celestia interrupted him. "That doesn't give me any hints as to what happened." "It's rude to interrupt someone when telling a story you know." Blaze said while making a hurt look which left his face as quickly as it came. "The story begins one fateful night... There I was in my room making theories on how to cast one of my spells in a more efficient way. Then it struck me. A way to cast what today is my best spell which I call Dreamify.I casted it but before I realized what was happening, I had sent myself to the dream world and as such many unspeakable things happened and here I'm today." Celestia was dumbfounded. Not by the story mind you but at what she was seeing. Behind him was a screen made of magic following his every word as he told his story. The screen showed everything that happened except the end. All the screen showed was a water color picture of him floating in darkness. "Well... that explains some of the things that happened but that also leaves more questions open then closed and that doesn't explain why you behave like you're a being chaos." Celestia stated in an uncomfortable yet serious way. Celestia was about to ask one of the many unanswered question when Blaze interrupted her. "By the way Princess Celestia, I want you to promise to NEVER tell Princess Luna about this, EVER and if you do, I will tell your sister about you following her even though you promised her not to and many other things that may or may not be true, understand?" Celestia was shocked about what Blaze said as well as his tone of voice. That and the fact that even his body mirrored what he said. He was standing in a way many soldiers stood, he was staring her right in the eyes in a very serious matter and even had the air of somebody that would kill in order to reach his goal. This both scared her and disturbed her. She stood up and walked in front of him looking straight into his eyes. Thanks to the size difference, Celestia would always look intimidating to anypony that looked up at her when she was mad or serious but it did little to nothing in affecting Dreamy's position. After a while, she sighed in defeat and went back to sit down. "Fine I'll do that. Only if you tell me everything that has been going on." Celestia demanded. "If course Princess..." Blaze said, becoming loose and relaxed again. Suddenly there was an awkward silence in the throne room that lasted a full minute until Celestia broke it. "Well are you going to tell me or not?" "Ahhhhh, you want me to tell you now? Sorry to burst the bubble but it's not the correct time to tell you the whole story yet." Blaze said with a troll look. "But seriously, I can't tell you just yet because I want it to be a surprise. That and I want a large crowd of friends around me when I release the secret." "Why you little..." Celestia didn't get the chance to finish her sentence because Luna came back inside. "Dear sister, art thou done. I want to see what type of knowledge my student knows as well as seeing what I can teach him of the dreamworld." Said Luna through the doorway. "Yes we are done Princess Luna." Blaze said with a bow. "Please, call us Luna." As they left Blaze turned around with a small jump and smiled devilishly to the Solar Princess. . . "So how much does thou know of the dream world?" Luna asked as they left to one of the castle's tower. "Well, living in the dream world for about 9 years, give or take a year or two, tends to teach you a lot about mysterious places, so I have to say I know just about the necessary like putting ponies to sleep, how to infiltrate dreams, how to change them to fit certain ways or show certain things that will be useful to said ponies. The basics." Replied the young stallion with a thoughtful look on his face. 'If only I could tell you the whole truth.' Luna turned to him wide eyed at the stallion's words. "9 years in trapped in the dream world!?" "Well it's more like 4-5 years trapped and the rest just traveling the world to increase my knowledge." Answered Blaze, like this was absolutely nothing. "How did thou end up trapped in the dream world and just how old are thee?". Questioned Luna. Blaze shrugged and said, " How I ended trapped was because of an experiment going wrong. As for how old I am, I'm 18." Blaze answered, again as if he has gone through that process countless times before. To say Luna was shocked was an understatement. She knew of a couple of unicorns that tried the same thing before but unlike him, they were never seen or heard of ever again. "How did thee survive the dream world on your own for so long?" "It's called being smart and skilled." Blaze claimed with a small smirk. "Or more like being lucky and/or having help. But enough about me. What are we studying today?" Luna begun to think, but she could only focus on what she was told of, so she came up with the best next thing. "Let's see what thou said is true or not." They went to a study close to Luna's room and started practicing. Although she had seen some of his skill, she waned to make sure he was completely prepared for anything the DreamWorld could throw at him. Unknown to her, he was more than prepared. . Chapter 4: Gala Introductions and ShenanigansIn the last episode of When Dreams Cross Dreams... "I have been stuck in the dream world" "Let's see what you can do" "WHY WAS NOT TOLD OF THIS SOONER!?" And we now return to your regular (not) scheduled program. . Week Before Grand Galloping Gala . "WHY WAS NOT TOLD OF THIS SOONER!?" You could hear Dreamy Blaze scream throughout the entire castle. "Gaaaaah!!! Okay Blaze calm down and think. I have one week to search for the perfect plants, prepare the silk from the plants and then sow my tuxedo. But then I also the design and the... well, sowing material is easy to get but everything else is going to be a pain." Dreamy Blaze was walking in a circle talking to himself after hearing that the gala was only a week away. "My dear student, why are thou so worried about plants and such for your tuxedo. Besides we can always have our personal dressmakers make thy tuxedo." Luna said after recovering from the ear piercing shout from Dreamy. "The reason for my over reaction is because I like making my stuff by hand to keep my skills fresh. I don't want to get rusty at something I like doing. Also when I say 'make stuff by hand' I mean it literally. Down to the cloth or silk I might use. I'm a designer after all." Luna by now was used to some of the weird things her student did in occasions like this. He once was having lunch and started talking to himself, saying something about a twin sister and how she cooked great food for him and his family and was currently missing it (at least Luna though he said that) but then went quiet after saying that or the one time in the middle of a lesson he said he had to leave to slay a dragon and Princess Luna let him go thinking he was to embarrassed to say the truth about needing to go to the bathroom. This was just one of those many strange moments she strangely grew semi-used to. "So what does thou have planned?" Asked Luna. "Well, I'm currently planning on making a white tuxedo and gloves. I'll use gold and white on the edges so as to look different. Maybe I'll do a red vest or probably white I'm going to have to draw it to get the best out of it." Blaze said with arm crossing chest and the other under his chin. "Maybe if I get some cloth from... no but it's the best... but... Okay I have made my plan and now to execute it!" By that point, Dreamy's thoughts were starting to materialize showing his plans in a very simple format. This was also a common around him. He would be doing something unrelated to magic focusing too much on details that spells started casting before he realized... that is if he DID realizes he was casting the spell. Seeing Dreamy doing this reminded Luna of the accident that happened a couple of weeks after his return. . Flash Back . Luna decided to test the colt’s knowledge on regular school material (or what she though was still regular school material) and today was his Chemistry test. Topic: All Animals can Speak Potion for 30 minutes. “Got it?” Luna asked. When she turned around, she noticed that Dreamy was nowhere to be seen. She then hears a sound behind her and saw Dreamy going over all the information right in front of the board with a look of deep thought, scaring her by the sudden appearing and disappearing act. “...” Although she was not sure, she thought she heard him speak what was on the board in great detail. “... …? …!” Dreamy punched his fists together as if he was starting to understand… whatever he was doing. Luna suddenly heard sounds come from behind her. When she turned all the potions and ingredients were moving through magic. She turned back to see Dreamy still reading. Thinking for his and her safety she said, “Dreamy, please pay attention to what you are doing.” Dreamy instantly turned toward her and what she was talking about only to see herbs, chemicals and powders being mixed together. He then noticed that one of the chemicals poured into the main concoction and by pour I mean emptied into the main concoction. To make matter worse, this Potion was a super old version of a current existing one. Not only that this Potion had a history with explosive in the past. Can you guess what happens after? No. No powerpuff fillies were created. Instead it nearly destroyed the tower or would of had destroyed it had Dreamy not activated a defense spell that covered everything except for himself. He did that by accident by the way. Meanwhile, in the throne room. Celestia was about to eat cupcake when suddenly the castle shaked violently for a second. But it was enough of a distraction to make her drop her cupcake. This made her mad, specially because she though it was another prank from Dreamy. “Princess Celestia there was an explosion in one of the castle’s tower! The one with your sister and student are in!” said one of the servant ponies in a rush. With news on hand, Celestia hurried to the tower. The moment she opened the door she saw everything covered in ashes except her sister as well as other various little parts that were covered or protected by other items. She then caught sight of of ashes piled in the shape of a pony… and said ash pony was blinking with massive white eyes with grape size dot for an irese. She then realized this was Dreamy. Because of his position and actions, she burst laughing all of a sudden, which in the end ended with Celestia and Dreamy being at each other's throats even more than they were already. At least she forgot about the cupcake. The being at each others throats was never noticed by Luna. . Flash Back Ends . “... Equestria to Luna…” Luna woke up and if not for her student sudden dodge, would have slapped him to the wall. “Thank Celestia you're okay. I was waving in front of your for almost five minutes and I was starting to worry.” Luna blush very little to the point it was unnoticeable at the fact that she was caught day dreaming. “Sorry Dreamy. I was just remembering the Chemistry test I made you take.” said Luna. “Don't worry. We all make mistakes. Besides it's more fun when things go wrong, that is if no one gets hurt.” Said Dreamy. “Anyway, can I have the rest of the week off so that I can make my tux. Please…” pleaded Dreamy with puppy dog eyes. “Sure, why not.”. After Luna said that, she saw Dreamy jump in joy while raising his fists in the air. “ I won't let you down! Heck, if thou want, I can make thee a dress if thou want my dearest teacher and Princess.” said Dreamy with a bow. Knowing Dreamy’s skills when it comes to creativity in design first hand, Luna accepted his offer. . Day of the Gala . “I can't wait to meet your student and her friends.” said Dreamy excited. ‘Just imagine all the pranks and jokes I can pull on them or…’ “If you think of pranking or even joking about something with my star student, I will punish you.” Said Celestia. Dreamy bit his dumb and made noises in frustration of being found out. Before Dreamy could say something Luna stepped into Dreamy's room while wearing the homemade dress Dreamy made. It's was dark blue dress with stars on it. The bottom of the dress was light blue and got darker the higher it went. Overall it was simple yet for some reason it seemed to make Luna almost glow with… “Doesn't the dress feel a little to simple?” Asked Celestia, ruining the moment. “I like it, it screams night yet it those not make me feel imposing or controlling.” said Luna. “Well of course! I made it with the beauty of the night and Luna in mind, and of course getting rid of every ponies fear of her because of Nightmare Moon. Also I wanted to keep it simple since simple, when done right mind you, can be very effective.” said Dreamy in a very prideful voice. Luna blushed at the fact that the dress was made while thinking of her some much while Celestia was surprise at the fact that Dreamy was so nice to Luna. Specially since he practically pulled pranks and jokes on everyone that caught his attention, especially herself. “Let's get going since I want to meet your student Tia.” said Dreamy in a mocking tone to Celestia, which lucky went over Luna’s head. When they had gotten inside the Gala (second time for the Princesses since they opened the Gala earlier but kept Dreamy out of it to have his introduction to Equestria as Luna's student for the middle of the Gala, as well as their actual party dresses) it looked like a tornado had passed by. Animals were everywhere, food was being thrown and someone was laughing like a mad mare. The Princesses were frozen in place looking at the damage, specially Celestia since she new who almost destroyed the gala. Dreamy being the only one not frozen since he was used to this happening thanks to the dream world, stepped forward and took a deep breath and did the logical thing he could think which was scream in a voice level that almost reached the royal Canterlot voice. “STOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!” Everypony and object instantly stopped what they were doing. Dreamy then turned to Luna and Celestia with a face that screamed 'a job well done' and was about to say something when he started to vibrate. After a few seconds he stopped, got mad and almost screamed, “Always, always when the interesting happens. Princess Celestia, teacher Luna please get your act together. Also, I have to go since something popped up.” He then went to the entrance and left. Before he left, you could hear him talking about the timing of things always ruining the fun. After every object finally fell, along with a lot of shattering noises or bangs of metal, Celestia regained her composure and asked in a calm voice, “What is going here?” As soon as Celestia said that everypony pointed at Twilight and her friends. After a bit of confessing and a lot of apologies, the Gala ended and everyone left. Twilight and her friends along side Celestia and Luna began to talk once everyone left. “My dear student, I'm happy you made so many wonderful friends but please try to not let this happen again without warning us first.” Said Celestia to a purple unicorn with a purple mane that had a pink strip through both the mane and the tail. Said pony's name is Twilight. “Again, I'm very sorry about that Princess.” said Twilight embarrassed. “No to be rude or anything but who was that young stallion standing with you Princess?” said Rarity, a white unicorn mare with a purple mane and tail. “We were supposed to tell thee and everypony in the Gala the news of my new student but then all this happened.” said Luna pointing at the ballroom. “Wait, wait, wait. Princess Luna you have a student?” asked Twilight. “Some time after my return I was looking at my ponies’ dreams when I ran into his dream which was unstable. After getting tired of trying to fix his dream, or better said their dreams, I came back to the castle and went to sleep. He then followed me into my dream and then he showed me he had a cutie mark that allowed him to go to ponies dreams and I decided to teach him.” explained Luna straightforwardly. “He was supposed to meet thee today but this happened.” said Luna pointing to the mess, again. “Anyway I want to talk to you and your friends in my private library, so please follow…” Before Celestia could finished, the doors burst open with Blaze on the other side looking tired. “Sweet, sweet home. I missed thee, but I'm to tired to walk to bed but nnngghaaaa!” Screamed Dreamy still walking to his room. When he passed Celestia, Luna and the main six, he said hello while making a v shape with his fingers and left for his room. “Is that the new student you were talking about Princess Luna?” Asked Rainbow Dash. “Yes.” Said Luna. “Ignore him. He's… unpredictable.” said Celestia, cringing from remembering all the pranks and tricks he pulled on her. “Anyways I want you girls to tell me all about your adventures…” Luna interested in hearing the story followed Celestia secretly to listen to the quote-un-quote private stories forgetting all about Dreamy’s demeanor. What Luna didn't notice were the bright red eyes following from the shadows with a very cocky yet familiar smile.
