Ring of Red, Circle of Fire
Crossover with the old Konami Game Ring of Red. In The aftermath of the First Equestrian War, just a few short years after the second World War, the Southern Equestrian army developed a new AFW program. It's too bad that nothing is ever that simple.
With a new class of AFW being fielded for the Army, and with rumors of rising tensions between North and South Equestria, the few AFW pilots that are stationed at Falcon Base are about to have their lives change forever.

AFW- Armored Fighting Walker
During the Second World War, Germaney, as part of their "Wundewaffe", or Wonder Weapons program, developed the WW-4, later christened as the Wander-Panzer, or walking armor. This was changed to AFW following Germaney's defeat and military re-organization, as the plans for Wanzers were shared with the allied nations, as part of the peace agreement. Most AFWs fall into either Class I or II, depending on their date of production, and are classified as either S-type, or Standard AFWs, L-type, or Light AFWs, F-type, or Four-legged AFWs, and A-type, or Anti-AFW AFWs.
Most modern AFWs are designed and built by Krupp, Rheinmetall, Porsche, Henschell, or General Motors
A quick note: I'll loosely follow the plot for the tutorial missions ( up to the port) but after that, anything's fair game. :) There will be MAJOR deviations from the plot past that point, so don't worry too much about any spoilers in the comments.
If you're still worried about your conscience, add a spoiler tag or something. :P
