The end of me.

...I. WILL. DIE....

In a flash, a light blue pegasus catches me right before i hit the ground. Her mane is rainbow colored and instantly know who it is. "R-rainbow Dash!!" I squeal in shock, and smile, holding onto her. "Hey! Are you alright, kid?! You have to be more careful!!" She scolds me, but i don't care. She saved me, AND shes famous!! I squeal, and jump a bit. She stares. "What in the hay are you doing?" She inquires. "I love your sonic rainboom!!" I grin, and hold her hoof. She pulls her hoof away, and backs up awkwardly. "Yeah, well uh...i gotta go train! Bye!!" She flies off so quickly i can hardly see her take off.

  I realize she's dropped me off outside of the Orphanage gate. "This is my chance!!" I think to myself, and run. I run for hours, until i get to where my house had burned down. I start to tear up, my lip quivering. "How could you...?" I think to myself. A gleam of light shining off of something catches my eye. I look at it quickly, to find out it is my mother's necklace I tried to take. I scramble to it, and pick it up, shaking. "H-how...?" I say aloud, my hood starting to feel numb as I hold the chain close to me. I can feel it...the magic....I understand so much more now..."Mother got all her magic from this necklace!! That's why she always wore it!" I scream aloud, and then stare off, putting the pieces together...

  All of a sudden, I hear voices saying "There she is! Get her!" and I look over my shoulder to see the orphan mother. My eyes widen, and I take off, running as fast as I can... I need to get away! I can't live there!! I'll only die there with Brain and his small crew of older colts...In a white flash, I'm out of sight, and inside of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna's castle. I gasp softly, and find the castle's library, it being not too far. I quickly run inside of it, and hide there for what seems like hours, but in reality only mere minutes before the celestial guards find me, take me to Celestia, and I get put into the dungeon for sneaking in. I sit there. having hidden the necklace under my good wing. I sit in silence in the back of the cell, shaking and crying..."What do i do..? What will happen to me...?! Am i really going to die....?" All these thoughts flow in and out of my head. I consider trying to break out, and flee for my life. But what good would that do me? It wouldn't. It would just get me in more trouble than i already am in. I shiver, getting cold very easily. Usually I would get my blanket, but its burned to a crisp now.

  Hours later, I wake up on the cold cement ground, being tossed around by the Lunar guards. One of them shoves me so hard into the ground, I scrape my face, and yelp. "Get up, peasant!" The girl yells at me. I get angry at that. "Who are you calling a peasant? Because if ANYTHING you're more of a peasant than I am, for being so harsh and cruel to just a FILLY!!" I scream. I didn't know I had that in me. She glares at me in such a way i cant tell if its from confusion or shock. "U-um...I work for Princess Luna! AND I get pain lots of money! What do you have, brat?!" She smirks, like shes all high and mighty. "I may not have anything, but money doesn't get you happiness or love. It may get you food, water and a house, but who REALLY needs a house?! We all aren't born in our own houses! We were raised there. We do not belong there...and if you think you are more powerful than I JUST because you work for a princess, you are sadly mistaken, Miss." I explain, with a growl in my voice. She stands there, impressed. The other guard raises his spear, and then points it at me. "How dare you speak that way to my commander?!" He exclaims. I stand there, glaring with a shadow over my eyes from my mane, a faint grin appearing across my face.

  I can feel the magic flowing in me from the necklace. I start to laugh wildly. "I may be a filly, but I'm more broken than you ever will be, sir." I cry. I can't take the pain...my legs give out, and I lay in pain, shaking, and crying badly. Both guards look at each other and then put down their weapons. They help me up, and the mare says "The princesses just want to see you, kid..." she brushes some blood off my face, and I yelp in pain. For the first glance at her I didn't realize that she looks so much like my mother. I stare at her, tears running down my face like a small stream.  That's when it hits me. I can see it in her eyes. It is my mother, but i say nothing and let her pick me up.

                                                             The memories of her and I smiling and having fun are coming back.....
