In the beginning, there was a zebra.

Traveling far away from her homeland, she went of to seek the creations and mysteries within another part of the world, vastly unknown to her kin. However, in order to make these discoveries, she preferred living in a forest from settling among the locals.

Go figure.

A reclusive nature, combined with an exotic exterior and an uncommon style of talking have given Zecora a reputation more fierce than welcoming. Which didn't exactly help connecting with those creatures called ponies. It took time for them to accept each other, but now that she's an accepted member of the community, her daily life doesn't seem to confront her with any dangerous missions or awkward encounters.

Unless, y'know, a giant monster comes to town or something.
