Lieutenant Silver Spear had a problem.
It wasn’t, as most problems went, a particularly bad one. He was a fairly successful member of the Equestrian Royal Guard, having joined up not two years ago, and earning his most recent promotion just last month. He had his own room in the barracks, was looking forward to a good-sized pension, and though he wished that a mare could move in with him, was happy, for the most part, to live on his own for now.
His parents weren’t too clingy; his superiors were reasonable. His friends were some of the best buddies a stallion could ask for, and the last time he’d visited his dentist, she’d said that he had some of the whitest teeth she’d seen since Prince Blueblood’s last visit.
And yet…
...he still had a problem. A small one: almost, but not entirely, completely mundane, and yet he found himself consumed with it. It was, he guessed, probably some kind of ethical issue.
His problem was simple.
He could not, for the life of him—no matter how hard he tried—stop thinking about Princess Luna’s ass.
It was absolutely an ass worth thinking about, though. Upon her return to Canterlot a year and a half ago, she’d been the talk of the city. Not two months after she’d settled back into the palace, the suitors had started flowing in. After all, Princess Luna was an extremely attractive mare, and, though probably not the best fit for the word “eligible,” was definitely good-looking enough for the odd stallion or mare to try their luck anyway.
She’d always been a knockout—but a month ago, something had changed. Not for the worse; if anything, the absolute opposite. Silver Spear remembered like it was yesterday. He’d been standing guard outside of Princess Celestia’s chambers, waiting for her to wake up and begin her day. A tired-looking Princess Luna, bearing a positively massive ass, had then walked down the hall, given him a cheery wave, and then passed him by, her enormous rump jiggling madly every step of the way.
Silver Spear had barely been able to handle it at the time. The guard beside him had been struck dumb for the next five minutes. Now…
He glanced down and winced. He could already feel his stallionhood pushing its way out of its sheath.
This was not okay. He couldn’t be thinking about mare’s asses during his shift, and certainly not about the Princess’s. That had to be some kind of violation of professionalism or something. An ethical violation, at least.
But still… He bit his lip, the memory flashing across his mind’s eye again, not entirely unbidden. That ass, that incredibly globular rear—he’d never seen anything like it. It had always been a perverted point of note among the Guard that Princess Celestia possessed one of the most perfect flanks that any of them had ever seen—plump, rounded, bouncy—but Spear had to privately admit that Princess Luna’s new assets put her sister’s to shame.
“Hey, Spear!”
Silver Spear jerked to attention. “R-roger!” he sputtered. “Uh, sir!” His hoof slapped against his forehead in something resembling a salute, and he grunted as it bounced off. Ow.
A roar of laughter met his attempt at professionalism. “Chill, Spear.” A hoof slung around his neck and pulled his head to the side. “What am I, Captain Armor or something?” Nightshade smirked and tousled his mane. “Geeze. It’s way too easy to catch you off-guard like that. What were you doing, thinking about Luna’s ass again?”
The tips of Spear’s ears burned. His mouth opened and closed, working uselessly. “But—I—uh—”
Her eyes widened. “No way! You totally were!” Cackling, she thumped him on the chest and slumped against his shoulder.
Groaning internally, Silver Spear carefully reached up and extricated himself from Nightshade’s grasp. He leaned his spear against the wall and turned to face her, sighing.
From this angle, he had a much clearer view of her. A batpony mare a rank or two below him, Nightshade had always been an advocate of taking life less than seriously—which probably explained why she hadn’t been promoted further, despite the fact that they’d joined up at the same time. Still, despite the fact that she was more likely to prank him than drill with him, he liked her company.
Except, of course, when she was taunting him about ogling royal posteriors.
He cleared his throat. “I was not.”
“Don’t even try to deny it.” Nightshade smirked and poked him in the chest. “I could see the look in your eyes. You were even drooling a little.”
Silver Spear hurriedly reached up to wipe away his muzzle—and found it perfectly dry. He glowered at Nightshade.
“Gotcha,” she said. “But seriously, I don’t blame you. The Princess has one hell of an ass.” She whistled softly.
“Nightshade!” Spear hissed. His eyes darted around the hallway, his jaw clenched nervously. “We’re not supposed to talk about this kind of thing!”
“Maybe you’re not,” she said casually. “But she’s been the talk of the Night Guard ever since she enlarged it. Not that she wasn’t already,” Nightshade added, “but…” She shivered, grinning lecherously. “Damn.”
Spear bit his lip. Images of Luna’s rump: those big, plump asscheeks, folding over her haunches and jiggling profusely with the sway of her hips, leapt to his mind’s eye. Struggling to keep the blush from his lip, he hissed, “Well, maybe the Night Guard finds that kind of perversion acceptable. But the Royal Guard has higher standards than—”
“You’re thinking about her right now, aren’t you?”
“No,” he said quickly. Way too quickly. She quirked her eyebrow knowingly, waited. His shoulders slumped. “Yes,” he finally admitted.
Nightshade cackled. “Oh, believe me; you are absolutely not the only pony who wants a piece of that. If it were me and Princess Luna, with nothing else but a big bed and those enormous, gorgeous flanks…” She let her words trail off, her eyebrows waggling at him.
“That’s a nice fantasy,” he said, trying to push that line of conversation away. “But it’s unbefitting of a guard to indulge in it. A princess would never descend to such a level.”
“Don’t be so sure of that,” Nightshade said. “I’ve heard rumors of some higher-ups in the Night Guard getting it on with your ‘oh-so-pure’ Moon Goddess.” Her smirk widened into a predatory grin. “Who knows? Maybe one of us could get lucky.”
Get...lucky. Silver Spear swallowed. “All the same,” he said, slightly unsteadily, and trying to push the images out of his mind before his erection got any more visible, “I’d rather not discuss that kind of thing on duty.”
“Sure y’won’t.” Nightshade winked. “But you might later tonight in your bunk.”
“I—”
“Messin’ with ya.” She punched him on the shoulder; he winced. One eyebrow raised, she said, “But don’t be so quick to give up hope. I’ve heard some interesting stuff.”
“I’m...sure,” Spear muttered.
“Catch you ‘round, then.” Giving a little wave, Nightshade turned to go. Silver Spear suddenly found himself watching the sway of her step, the little bob of her hips in time with the swish of her tail. Then he realized that he wasn’t thinking of her so much as he was thinking of Luna, her bountiful figure overlaid with Nightshade’s much slimmer one.
When Nightshade rounded the corner and vanished, he finally managed to shove those thoughts out of his mind. Swallowing, Spear turned back to pick up his spear before settling back into position. No matter what, he would retain some modicum of professionalism.
Later that night, he cried out softly, muffling his moan as his orgasm hit him. His sheets drenched in his seed, and the barracks dark around him, he let himself slowly drift off to sleep. The last thing he saw before his eyes fluttered closed was a perfect, perky butt, bearing a dark blue Cutie Mark nearly the size of his head.

Well, she wasn’t quite boiling. Simmering, maybe.
“Good morning, Princess Celestia!” Her morning guard inclined his head, offering a small smile. “How did you sleep?”
“Well,” she said. She wasn’t in a mood to say much more.
“Good to hear,” the guard said. A silver-grey stallion with a slightly darker mane, he snapped off a quick salute before saying, “Your breakfast is ready to be prepared, Princess. What shall I request of the cook?”
Most mornings, Celestia would order an omelette. Perhaps a muffin. “Surprise me,” she’d often say, and more often than not, she’d receive a pile of pancakes as tall as her head.
But not today. Today, her appetite was all but nonexistent.
“Tea,” she mumbled, and passed the guard by.
The guard had to trot rather quickly to catch up with her. “Are you feeling alright, Princess?” he asked. He almost looked concerned.
She sighed, let him pull her chair out for her. “Fine,” she said, and sat down.
As mares went, Princess Celestia was fairly well-endowed. Her beauty was often said to be unparalleled—but her most defining feature, the gossip-inspiring asset that served as her biggest guilty pleasure, was her rump. Her large, round, plush rump.
From the moment she’d started padding her diet, she’d adored the attention it earned her. Her big, tight flanks wobbled prodigiously wherever she walked, catching the eye of diplomats and citizens alike. There wasn’t a pony in all of Canterlot—if not Equestria, some ponies said—with an ass that could possibly compare to hers.
Until, it seemed, now.
Usually, when Celestia took her place at the dining table—any seat, really—she took a moment to savor the sensation of her generous rump squishing and spreading out beneath her. It was rather like a pillow in that regard; carrying around her own padding was but one of many benefits of such a well-sized rear. But this morning, caught in the mire of her own bad mood, Celestia paid barely any attention to the way her flanks squished against the arms of the chair. She had another rump on her mind.
Perhaps some conversation would take her thoughts off things. “What’s your name?” she asked the guard idly.
“Silver Spear, Princess.” He saluted again.
She scanned her memories for the name. “467th platoon?”
“Correct.” He looked faintly awestruck at her memory; she merely accepted a cup of tea from her butler and set it down on its saucer. “I joined two years ago.”
“You were enlisted when Princess Luna returned, then?”
“Yes, Princess.”
Some part of her warned her to stay away from this path. But she didn’t care. “What have you heard of her lately?”
“I—” The guard—Silver Spear—faltered. Had Celestia been watching him more closely, she would have detected a quaver of something in his eye. “She’s, ah, been doing very well, I hear.”
“Oh, yes,” Celestia said placidly. It was a minor struggle not to roll her eyes. “Very popular among the citizenry. In fact,” she went on, “I’d say that she’s very lucky.”
“Lucky, Princess?”
“Why,” Celestia said, “I don’t believe that there’s a single eye in Canterlot not on her these days.”
She glanced aside at the stallion, taking a sip of her tea. There was a faraway look in his eyes, as well as a slight tremble to his jaw that almost looked…
...afraid?
Was Princess Celestia jealous?
No.
There was no way.
Princess Celestia did not get jealous.
And yet…
Spear swallowed. He would have to be very careful here.
“I, ah, would not be surprised. Princess,” he added, somewhat hastily. “Your sister is...quite regal.”
“Regal?”
“Majestic,” he said. “As befits a mare of her stature.” He paused, weighing whether to go on. “And certainly beautiful.”
The flicker in Celestia’s eyes told him instantly that he’d made a mistake. And yet…
Was it possible?
“Beautiful?” Celestia said. “Bountiful, surely.”
The image of Luna’s wobbling, globular ass filled Silver Spear’s mind for a brief instant before he shoved it roughly away. “Erm,” he said, refusing to meet Celestia’s eyes, “perhaps.”
“Well,” Celestia said, taking another sip of her tea. “I can’t really begrudge her the attention. It’s excellent that she’s acclimatized to modern-day Equestria so well.”
“She does seem to be enjoying herself,” Spear blurted. Celestia raised an eyebrow. Something unspoken passed between them.
“True,” Celestia admitted. “Still, though I realize how ridiculous this sounds coming from me...I cannot help but feel a small bit…” She mulled over the word. “...inadequate beside my sister’s new popularity.”
There was a pregnant pause. Silver Spear felt a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead.
This couldn’t be happening. And yet it was. Could Princess Celestia…
Was Princess Celestia actually asking him for advice?
Spear cleared his throat. “Perhaps you might consider how Princess Luna obtained her new…” He searched frantically for the right word. “...stature? Surely there’s some way to follow in her hoofsteps.”
Celestia appeared to consider his words for a moment. “Hm,” she murmured. “There is a spell that might help… An old friend of mine at the Academy… Hm…”
She brightened. “Aha! Excellent. Thank you, Lieutenant.”
Silver Spear nearly collapsed in relief. Instead, he merely saluted. “My pleasure to serve, Princess.” Then he grunted, his eyes bulging slightly as Princess Celestia seized him in a bear hug.
“A perfect idea!” Celestia said, squeezing him to her in a very un-princesslike manner. “Thank you again!”
And with that, she dropped him to the ground—making sure, though, that he landed on his hooves—and turned to go. Silver Spear stared as the Princess all but galloped off, dashing down the corridor. As she went, he allowed himself to eye her bouncing, jiggling rear, her round, taut butt cheeks smacking against the tops of her thighs with every step she made.
“Tell the kitchen to prepare a feast!” Celestia hollered back. “I will need a bountiful amount of food—for an equally bountiful figure!” And with that, she curved out of sight, her butt still jiggling madly.
Silver Spear just stared. After a moment, he collapsed into Celestia’s former chair.
He couldn’t have just encouraged Princess Celestia to get an ass-job. And yet…
He eyed the tea, still steaming in the cup, and silently wished it were alcohol. He had a sudden feeling he’d be needing it before long.
The next morning was the beginning of the annual Equestrian Political Conference. Nobles, diplomats, and politicians from all walks of the nation had come for a weekend of discussions, debates, and deals that only Canterlot could offer. It was one of the most notable events of the royal political calendar.
There was just one problem, Silver Spear noted, as he glanced anxiously over the small sea of ponies milling about the ballroom. Princess Celestia wasn’t there.
Princess Luna certainly was. She’d taken up residence by the buffet table, snacking lightly on a plate of pastries as she conversed with a half-dozen attendees. Though she looked tired, her laugh was as booming and uproarious as ever; the smiles of her company were no less gleeful. Then again, it wasn’t difficult to see why she was so popular. Her big, plump flank still pushed out over her haunches, her Cutie Marks wobbling slightly every time she so much as twitched. From the looks in her companions’ eyes, they had no intention of looking away any time soon.
Spear snapped to a quick salute when he noticed his superior, Captain Buffed Bronze, walking toward him. “Sir!” he said.
“At ease, Spear.” Captain Bronze nodded, then took a place at Spear’s side. “Everything good over here?”
“So far, so good,” Spear said. “Although…”
“What?”
“Princess Celestia, sir,” he said. “I’m a bit concerned. Isn’t she a bit late?”
Bronze thumped him on the shoulder. “Now, you just sit tight and don’t worry about that,” he said, not unkindly. “The Princess will get here exactly when she means to. She hasn’t missed one of these in decades; it’s not exactly our place to go around minding her schedule.”
“Of course,” Spear said. “Sorry.”
“You’re just doing your job, son.” Bronze, who couldn’t have been more than three years older than him, gave Spear a grin and a wink. “Don’t worry. I put a squad of new recruits on with her this morning; for all I know, she’s late because they can’t stop tripping over themselves.”
“Heh,” Spear said, chuckling. “Maybe.”
Just then, the sound of a spear’s butt hitting the marble floor rang through the room. “Excuse me!” a voice hollered.
The room quieted down to a dull buzz. Spear and Bronze looked over to the entryway, where another guardpony—some corporal; Spear couldn’t remember—was clearing his throat. “I would like to announce Her Majesty, Princess Celestia!”
The doors creaked open behind him. A spray of light applause filled the room—and then stopped. Not for disapproval; if anything, it was for the exact opposite.
As Princess Celestia made her way in, every eye was on her. Her stride was regal, her expression serene. Her boots and tiara had been polished until they were gleaming. In all respects, she resembled the perfect monarch.
And yet...there was the hint of a smirk on her face. And for good reason.
An enormous, plump ass stood straight upright over her hips, wobbling incredibly with every step she took. It was easily fatter than anypony’s in the room—even bigger, Spear could see, with a bit of shock, than Luna’s.
Her globular cheeks squished and slid across one another, her hips swaying in a most alluring and un-princesslike way as she made her way into the room. The bottom of her rump bulged obscenely. Her flank was filled out with a truly enormous Cutie Mark, a rippling wobbling sun that was easily two to three times the size of anypony else’s.
Every eye in the room was drawn past her head, over her shoulders and back, and straight to her magnificent rear. Even when Celestia cleared her throat and raised a hoof, only a few of the attendees managed to muster up the will to look at her face instead of past it.
“Good morning, my loyal subjects.” There was a musical tone to her voice, and a spark of amusement in her gaze. She knew exactly what everypony was looking at. “I’m so sorry to have kept you all waiting.”
Spear abruptly realized that his jaw had gone slack. He quickly straightened up, wiped off his cheek—and realized that a certain something had just flopped out of its sheath. He blushed a bright, cherry red and prayed that nopony would glance in the direction of his stiffening boner.
Fortunately, nopony did. They were too busy staring.
“Please,” Celestia said, surveying the crowd. Spear could have sworn that she paused on him for a moment—and had she just fluttered her eyelashes at him? “Don’t let me interrupt. You may all resume enjoying the event.”
Every other stallion that had fallen into a mindless daze took a moment to snap out of it. Some slurped up lines of drool; others blushed as bright as Spear. Most of the mares looked caught between fascination and jealousy, but most of those came to their senses after a moment or two.
Slowly, the crowd returned to its activities, and a low buzz of conversation filled the air. Silver Spear stared as Celestia smiled quietly to herself. Then he glanced back over to the buffet.
Luna was fuming. Her eyes were wide, her nostrils flaring. Her own perky, plump butt was all but quivering, her entire body held erect as she glared Celestia down. Her entourage had turned away, entranced by this new, larger attraction. As Celestia made her way into the ballroom, her eyes flickered in Luna’s direction. Spear could scarcely believe it, but the Princess had most certainly smirked in her younger sister’s direction, even as she swayed her hips alluringly from side to side, giving her prominent ass a rather eye-drawing jiggle.
“Well,” Bronze coughed, after a moment. Spear jumped; he’d forgotten the other stallion was still next to him. “I’ll wager that’s not all they’d like to enjoy.”
He gave Spear a cheerful thump on the shoulder. “Alright, Lieutenant. It’s back to work for us.”
“Yes, sir.” Spear snapped off a prompt salute.
But his gaze still lingered in two places: On Celestia’s big, wobbling ass, and on Luna’s red, glaring face.
Later that day, after the sun had set, Silver Spear was heading back to his barracks. He’d just finished a long patrol shift in the gardens, and was more than ready to hit the hay. It’d been a long day, and all he wanted now was to climb up into bed—and maybe, he added silently, beat one off to the memory of that morning.
He couldn’t help it. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t get the image of Celestia’s prize ass out of his head. Its big, plushy roundness filled his thoughts, dominating his mind and pushing his libido further than he’d ever thought possible. Only his training had let him maintain a stern facade over his aching sheath through the day.
Any time he tried to think of something other than Celestia’s rump, Princess Luna’s flank popped into his thoughts instead. Spear increased his pace to a brisk trot, a touch of red hitting his cheeks. He really needed to get back to his bunk. Unbidden, the twin images of the princesses’ asses came back to the forefront of his mind—not separate, as they had been before, but together. He envisioned the two sisters pushing against one another, their godlike flanks squishing together, their massive Cutie Marks rubbing against one another as their asses grew and grew and grew…
The sound of raised voices snapped Silver Spear back to reality. He’d been walking past a usually empty lounge when he’d heard them: one booming, one harsh but muffled. Eyes widening, he stopped by the cracked door, one ear twitching to the sound. He knew he really shouldn’t eavesdrop...but he absolutely recognized the first voice, and the first one sounded familiar as well.
“Unacceptable!” Princess Luna’s voice—for there wasn’t a mare in Canterlot with a voice that could compare to hers—boomed out like thunder in the small corridor. “Who does my sister think she is?”
“A grown mare,” the other voice replied. Silver Spear frowned. That sounded like General Penumbra, one of the highest-ranking members of the Night Guard. But what was she doing here? “Princess, please. I think you might be taking this a bit too personally.”
“My sister means it to be personal,” Luna rumbled. “Celestia knew how much this meant to me.” Her hoof struck the ground with the sound of a thunderclap; out in the hallway, Silver Spear actually jumped, half-expecting the ground to shake underneath him. “She is conniving to steal away the attention and love of Our subjects—and this, I shall not endure.”
“But what do you plan to do?” General Penumbra sounded frustrated. “Princess, forgive me if I’m overstepping, but you can’t exactly call out your sister for having a bigger flank than you!”
Spear stifled a snicker. Then he cocked his ear back toward the door, straining to hear Luna’s response.
“Perhaps not,” Luna said. “But there are other ways. We shall have to upstage her somehow.”
“But how?”
A low, throaty chuckle filled the room. “My dear Penumbra—surely you know how this all started.” Spear could just picture the smirk on Luna’s face. “We shall have to beat her at her own game.”
There was a pause—and then Luna laughed again. “Oh, you naughty mare,” she groaned, presumably in response to something Penumbra had done. “You’re excited aren’t you?”
Another pause. Then—”Mmff. Can I help it if royalty tastes so good?”
“You cannot.” Luna groaned again. “Please, continue.”
As another of Luna’s moans rang out through the hallway, Silver Spear decided to make a getaway. His cheeks were stinging; it felt like all of the blood in his body had decided to rush to two places: his head and his crotch.
So the rumors were true after all. And Luna—what was she planning?

How this all started…
Spear had a rough idea.
He came buckets that night, panting and moaning in his bunk as shot after shot of his load splattered the top of his bunk. The fantasized image of the two Princesses’ asses lingering in his thoughts, Spear groaned, got up, and went to clean off.
That was the messiest session he’d had in weeks. Somehow, though, he had a feeling that they weren’t going to get any cleaner. If anything, he thought with a small grin as he turned on the shower, things were only going to get hotter from here on out.
By some quirk of fate, Silver Spear woke up the next morning to a change in his schedule. Instead of patrolling the walls today, he was to preside over the weekly Royal Briefing—a meeting between the Princesses in which they were to discuss matters of state, foreign and local affairs, and any other political necessities.
That, at least, was the usual idea. From the moment Spear had walked in the room, though, it had become clear that this meeting was less a collaboration than a thinly veiled competition.
A helpful forecast had included Luna’s newly expanded assets. Just as he’d overheard her promise the previous night, and just as he’d daydreamed about on the way over, the lunar princess seemed to have taken the opportunity to grow her feminine features far past what she had started with.
She’d leapfrogged over Celestia’s own size, entering the room with a pair of basketball-sized flanks wobbling and bulging madly from her rear. She swayed her hips as she walked and talked, constantly swishing her tail playfully over the massive crevice that ran down the middle of her expansive rump. It was an incredible struggle for Spear to keep from imagining what lay behind that teasing tail. He was determined to keep his mind clean—at least until he could scramble back to his bunk.
He was, of course, doomed to fail.
Presently, they were discussing public relations—though not quite in the expected way. “Have you met personally with any of Our subjects lately?” Luna asked. “They seem most eager to please their royalty.This generation is most pious.”
“I’m sure,” Celestia said placidly. She sipped her tea, eyeing Luna’s rump with an unreadable expression. “I always enjoy meeting with everyday ponies—but too much interaction with a single monarch can encourage a kind of...single-mindedness, I would say.” She paused. “I prefer to provide them with other sights to...enjoy.”
Spear’s eyes widened as he saw a golden aura spring up around Celestia’s horn. It was almost too faint to see, but from the way Luna’s smug grin turned to a frown, he could tell that she’d seen it too.
“Mmff,” Celestia murmured, her eyes fluttering shut. Spear watched in awe as the same golden aura sprung up around the Princess’ rump. He was mesmerized, powerless to look away as Celestia’s bountiful butt grew even more so, adding on pound after pound of plumpness as it rounded out beyond any reasonable size.
Her Cutie Marks stretched, her hips filling out. By the time she’d finished, Celestia’s ass was a good inch wider in radius than Luna’s. She smirked and shot Luna a meaningful look.
“I’m sure that our subjects enjoy the additional stimuli.”
“Of course they do,” Luna said. “But it must be proper stimuli. In the right amounts. If one is not impressive enough, there is a danger of one’s subjects becoming…”
She smirked. “Bored.”
Spear’s eyes tried not to pop out of his skull. Luna’s rump was becoming even bigger, her flanks widening by the second. She took a deep breath and shivered, every square inch of her voluminous flank set jiggling by the motion. It only stopped growing when it was just a smidge wider than Celestia’s, as if she were daring her sister to take up her challenge.
“Perhaps,” Celestia said, “but it is for our subjects to decide the kinds of...entertainment that they prefer.”
“We would not dispute that,” Luna said.
“Good,” Celestia said, smiling. “Because we seem to have one of ‘Our’ subjects right here.”
Oh, crap.
Luna’s eyes flickered over to Spear. A predatory grin twitched her muzzle. “We do indeed.”
He began to sweat.
“What’s your name again, dear soldier?” Luna purred. She turned to face him, her eyes narrowed, and her grin wide.
“S-silver Spear,” he choked out.
“Silver Spear,” Luna said, tasting the name. “A very...interesting name.” She took a step toward him, her long eyelashes fluttering. “It conjures up quite...interesting imagery.”
