Celestia City has just received an early access to the newest soft drink to come from the juggernaut FizzBronCo; Solarflare! This elixir is said to have a great orange taste that rivals that of the nectar from the past, and enough fizz and caffeine to keep you going all night for those kinds of parties you dumb teenaged ponies seem to enjoy throwing! And with stocks going high, and corruption rate low from such a widely well known corporation, this seems like the perfect kick-starter for Celestia City's Summer Sun Celebration!

That is until you start getting sick…and mutated.

What ponies don't know is that FBC's famous new drink has a tiny side effect; Anypony who drinks it turns into a mutated freak of nature that loves to kill and craves Solarflare like a mad addict. After the disaster that night held, some say that the Apocalypse came to Celestia City in a hand basket. Fire rises from the sky, Anarchy reigns, and monsters seem to be everywhere. It's a time where ponies need a hero, you know? A shining beacon of hope to help bring light through this dark time.

This took me a good while to make, and it's…really something

The game Sunset Overdrive isn't meant to be taken seriously, so I'm making sure this story is more of the same. However, if you find something to latch on to, go ahead. I'm still very novice at writing, and I have no staff of people reading my crap down and editing it for me since I'm dirt cheap.
