                         Chapter 1

Chapter 1
   "Come and die maggots!" Lu Bu shouted as he swung his halberd slashing through five soldiers and sending ten of them flying into the wall. Blood dripped off the end of his halberd from soldiers he had slain. Hearing footsteps from behind, he spun slashing his halberd horizontally cutting through the first five unlucky soldiers who entered the gate as well causing their blood to splatter across the walls as well the ground.
The man was china greatest warrior known as Lu Bu. Lu Bu had at first served Ding Yuan, helping to slay the Ten Eunuchs. Though he betrayed Ding Yuan cutting him down and offering his head to Dong Zhuo as a peace offering. There he had served the tyrant and fought many of his battles for him. After the battle of Hu Lao Gate, he killed Dong Zhuo on Diao Chan's requests. His adopted father's followers disagreed with Lu Bu's actions and chased him out from the capital. Left with no land of his own, he briefly wanders into Yuan Shao's care and assists the battle against Gongsun Zan at Chang Shan. Though his rival is defeated thanks to Lu Bu's efforts, Yuan Shao began to fear Lu Bu and now wants him dead due to his past treachery. Liu Bei sheltered him at Xia Pi, but Lu Bu takes the lord to be a weak ruler thus taking Xiapi from him. It is here that Lu Bu found himself alone with Chen Gong being captured as well Zhang Liao. His men that had deserted him even made off with his trusted companion Red Hare.
Lu Bu could hear more soldiers rushing in. He could recognize his men within Cao Cao and Liu Bei armies.
"HA! It doesn't matter how many you send!" Lu Bu shouted as he twirled his halberd around above his head before finally slamming the pommel into the ground causing the soldiers to back away in fear. Before they could react, Lu Bu rushed towards them slashing upward cutting through six soldiers before spinning and slashed horizontally killing five more soldiers sending their bodies flying through the air where they landed on the ground five yards away.
"You keep sending them, I'll keep knocking them down!" Lu Bu followed shouted while swinging his weapon slashing through ten soldiers causing blood to splatter on the ground as the bodies landed on the ground with a thud. Lu Bu turned towards the other soldiers who stared at him with fear. Lu Bu began to slowly walk towards them before they let out shouts of fear and began to run away despite having Lu Bu outnumbered.
"A million of your insects won't be enough to defeat me!"
Lu Bu began to walk towards where the gate was located. As he walked towards it, he could see Xiapi was mostly flooded now with bodies lying afloat in the water as well as the slain causing the river to soon become red with their blood. Lu Bu reached the drawbridge and stood in the middle as he watched soldiers rush towards him. Lu Bu simply raised his halberd above his head before slamming it back down sending twenty soldiers into the air. He simply stood back up not caring about the bodies falling around him.
"CAO CAO! FACE ME YOU COWARD!"
His yell was replied with more soldiers rushing towards him with their weapons raised.
"AWAY VERMIN!" Lu Bu swung his halberd horizontally then simply reversed it swinging back slicing through every soldier in its path. Lu Bu quickly turned to block three swords that were aimed at his head. Lu Bu simply pushed them back then quickly swung his halberd killing the three as well knocking them into the river below.
"Quite impressive for a beast."
Lu Bu glanced up with a sneer on his face. The man that he sought to kill was standing right in front of him. Cao Cao stood twenty yards away, with Liu Bei at his side and his three brothers. Soldiers stood in front of them with more and more appearing.
"Cao Cao! Face me!"
Cao Cao answer was him raising his hand then throwing it down causing the soldiers to rush towards Lu Bu who simply raised his halberd waiting for them to come closer. "COME THEN COWARDS! MEET YOUR DEATH BY THE GREAT LU BU!"

When they were near Lu Bu swung his halberd cutting down the first five then quickly raised his halberd to deflect a sword giving him an opening to cut through the unlucky soldier. Without stopping he spun slashing horizontally through six soldiers then slashed diagonally on the seventh one and immediately swung down vertically through a soldier.
Unaware to everyone, a person was watching the battle from a distance. The person was Zuo Ci the old mystic who sought the land for a great hero to bring peace to this land that was in chaos and found it in Cao Cao though he tried to change the conqueror.
"So this is where the great Lu Bu dies." He stated as he watched Lu Bu cut down soldiers left and right but everyone has their limit and Lu Bu was reaching his. Zuo Ci watched the warrior attacks becoming more slower and sluggish.
"He fights even when he's the last one standing." Zuo Ci spoke as he watched Lu Bu pierced through three soldiers then quickly pulled his blade out and spun swinging in a straight line horizontally killing the three soldiers that were coming up behind him.
Zuo Ci however, felt...something in one of his talismans. Zuo Ci brought the glowing talisman to his face and stared into it. His eye's widened at what he was seeing before they went back to his calm expression. He glanced towards Lu Bu who was standing there panting hard from what Zuo Ci could tell even as Soldiers began to slowly advance towards him.
"Seems the fates have something else planned for you Lu Bu." Zuo Ci began to chant something under his breath into the talisman causing it to glow brighter. Zuo Ci lets go of it as it floated in midair before flying towards Lu Bu.
"Let's hope this new world has more to offer you, Lu Bu."
Lu Bu slashed three more soldiers while five more replaced the dead ones. Lu Bu glanced around himself to see soldiers had surrounded him while he slowly stood up panting hard. "You'll fight even if you're the last man standing.....but that all ends here. This battlefield......will be your last!"
Lu Bu response was to slam his halberd into the ground causing the soldiers to take a step back. "Humph!"
Lu Bu glared at Cao Cao as he spoke. "Though you may steal everything else I have, you cannot steal my might!"
Lu Bu twirled his halberd around before holding it behind him with one hand. "I don't care about you, or anyone else in this land. No one's getting in my way!"
Before anyone could move, a talisman flew in front of Lu Bu glowing causing everyone to stare at it.
"CAO CAO! ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR TRICKS!?" Lu Bu shouted.
The talisman glowed brighter before there was a flash causing everyone to shield their eyes. When everyone looked they saw Lu Bu was gone.
Lu Bu groaned as he felt light hit his face causing him to cover his face with his hand.
"What the hell did Cao Cao do to me!?"
Lu Bu saw he appeared to be an alleyway in a city. What caught his attention was the sound of battle causing him to smile.
"Time to have some fun." He turned his attention to the light and saw it was reflecting off his halberd. Lu Bu slowly stood up then noticed he felt like he was on all fours. He didn't care as he walked towards his weapon. When he was close he reached for it. "What the hell!?" Instead of a hand he saw it was a red hoof that had armor on it. Glancing out of the corner of his eye he saw a mirror and what he saw caused his jaw to drop.
Staring at him was a red horse that his red fur with a black mane. On top of his head was his pheasant tail headpiece. Around his chest was what appeared to be gold armor. He also saw a symbol of a demon looking thing on his butt.
"WHY THE HELL AM I A HORSE!?" Lu Bu shouted unaware his voice caught the attention of two changelings.
"What was that?" One of the changelings asked the other.
"Might be a pony." The two headed down towards where the noise came from.
Lu Bu meanwhile was still staring at himself before finally shaking his head. "Doesn't matter. As long as I can still fight!" With that said he walked over to his halberd and reached for it forgetting that he had hoofs but was still able to pick it up.
"HEY!" A voice shouted from behind causing Lu Bu to look behind himself to see two bug ponies causing him to let out a laugh. "Ha! Two insects trying to intimidate me? Don't make me laugh!"
The changelings growled as their horns glowed. "Puny pony need to learn his place!"
Lu Bu glared at the two before walking towards them.
In the street by the alleyway were five changelings who were waiting orders. "Sir when do we move?"
The one turning towards the changeling seemed to be the leader. "We will move out when 0098and 099 show up. They should have been here by now."
One changeling opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by two changelings flying out of the alleyway slaming into the building by them before falling to the ground. The two bodies had blood coming from them causing the changelings eye's to widen before they turned towards the alleyway to see an earth pony wielding a strange weapon. The pony glanced over towards them.
"I am Lu Bu. I hope you will provide me with entertainment." Lu Bu spoke as he pointed his halberd at them.
The changelings response were for their horns to glow as they fired spells at the pony who simply stood there letting them hit without moving an inch. The changelings eyes widened when they saw it didn't seem to faze him.
"It that it insects!?" Lu Bu bellowed causing them to shake out of their shock as they rushed him. One changeling simply stood back as he watched his soldiers rush towards the pony but what happened next caused his mouth to open in fear. The pony simply swung his halberd like it was a sword slashing through three changelings killing them, then impaled the other two on his halberd. Lu Bu turned towards the last changeling as he lifted the two bodies with ease and tossed them aside where they smashed into a wall then crumpled down to the ground.
"Is that all you have? This is boring."
The changeling didn't say anything but stepped back and flew off with Lu Bu watching it go in the direction of a castle where he saw more of the insects.
"Perhaps this could be more fun than I thought." With that being said, he began to make his way towards the castle. What he saw caused him to smile as he saw lots and lots of vermin waiting to be crushed. He even saw one changeling yelling to the others.
"This pony just killed them with ease!" The changeling shouted causing the other changeling to sigh.
"I highly doubt it."
Lu Bu stepped up to the two and spoke. "Is it hard to imagine my strength insect?" This caused the two to turn towards him as Lu Bu swung his halberd splitting the two in half making blood splatter. The other changelings looked at him with anger while Lu Bu twirled his halberd around causing the blood to fly off as he stopped and pointed his weapon at them. "I am growing tired of this!" The changelings response were to rush towards him.
"Aaah." Queen Chrysalis winced in pain. 'Why does it feel like every minute a piece of me is dying?' Chrysalis thought. Chrysalis had seen enough of these ponies.
Instead of staying on the balcony, she walked inside; just in time to see Twilight trying to free Cadence.
"What do you think you are doing"? Chrysalis asked while using her magic to lift Twilight up.
"I was just ehm trying to free Cadence that’s all." Twilight replied with a cheeky smile.
"Come to me my subjects." Chrysalis commanded.
Suddenly 10 Changelings came flying into the wedding room.
"What is it my queen?" One of her subjects asked.
"Aaaah could you please." Chrysalis trailed off.
"What is the matter your majesty?" The Changeling asked.
"A little headache that’s all." Chrysalis said while rubbing her head. "Sergeant, take your men and see if there are any guards inside of the castle." Chrysalis ordered.
"But my queen; we already scouted the entire castle twice I do not think that--."
"DO IT NOW! THAT IS AN ORDER!" Chrysalis shouted.
"Y-Yes your majesty." The Changeling replied. "You heard the queen, move out!" The sergeant ordered. The doors of the palace opened as six of the Changelings flew out of the room, leaving Chrysalis with only four Changelings as guards.
"Now as for you two." Chrysalis said while giving Princess Cadence and Shining Armor a mischievous glare. "I'm going to make the two of you suffer."
"I will not let you hurt them!" Twilight shouted.
"And what are you going to do about it, I defeated Celestia. What makes you think I can’t defeat you?" Chrysalis asked mockingly.
"I-I can--."
"You can sit and watch how my Changelings conquer all of Equestria! Hahahaha." Chrysalis interrupted while laughing manically.
"Twilight don’t!" Cadence pleaded.
"Silence!" Chrysalis shouted. "Come now Shining Armor." Chrysalis said while using her mind control spell to make Shining Armor walk over to her.
"I wouldn’t want my husband to miss out on all the fun now would AAAH WHY AM I HAVING THIS DREADFUL HEADACHE?! Chrysalis shouted in agony.
"What's wrong 'queen'? Can’t handle the pressure?" Rainbow Dash asked mockingly.
"Silence! You two go and find those six others I just sent to explore the castle." Chrysalis ordered.
"Yes, your majesty!" The Changelings responded.
"Now back to the matter at hoof." Chrysalis said while walking towards Cadence. "How does it feel to lose everything you have ever cared about?" Chrysalis asked with a dark tone.
"I-It f-feels…."
"It feels what"? Chrysalis asked mockingly.
"It feels--."
"Gaah!"
"Look out!"
"Kill it!"
There were screams of terror as all of the ponies and Changelings listened to what was going on just outside of the wedding hall.
"What is going on out there?" Chrysalis asked.
"I do not know your majesty." A Changeling grunt replied.
Suddenly the screaming died down, the only thing that could be heard were faint hoof steps. *click* *clock* *click* *clock*.
With every step taken by whatever stood on the other side of that door; Chrysalis flinched a little. Whatever stood behind those doors had just taken down eight of her Changeling subjects.
Lu Bu marched down the hallway after disposing off the insects outside and was now cutting down the ones inside as he neared where he thought most of them were located. He looked down the hallway to see two large double doors. Standing in front of it were about fourteen changelings. Lu Bu smiled as he walked towards them causing the changelings to glance towards him.
"I thought we had all ponies captured?"
"Just get him!"
Lu Bu watched as they approached and he simply swung his halberd slashing them down and continued to march forward where he saw more changelings where he immediately rushed them and cut them down.
"Gaah!"
"Look out!"
"Kill it!"
Lu Bu slashed down a changeling then turned pierced the last one through the chest. Lu Bu turned towards the doors and threw the changeling off his halberd causing it to crash through the doors.
Everypony in the room flinched as a changeling was thrown into the room with a hole in it's chest where blood had begun to pour out.
"You two, attack whatever did that!" Chrysalis ordered. The Changelings nodded in response. They started to run towards the blown up doors only for a weapon to swing killing them. Everypony eyes widened as the two changelings were split in half.
Chrysalis looked at the scene in horror, her two subjects laid dead on the hardened floor of the wedding room.
Chrysalis eyes widened in shock when she saw a red pony wielding a strange weapon.  But what frightened her the most was that on its right appendage was blood, the blood of her subjects.
"Your insects were pathetic." Lu Bu spoke.
'Why am I, queen Chrysalis afraid of this pony!?' Chrysalis thought. "I do not know who you are, but I queen Chrysalis am going to make you pay for the things you have done!" Chrysalis roared while shooting a bolt of magic at Lu Bu who simply let it hit him. Everypony eyes widen as they didn't see a burn or scratch mark on the pony.
"Pathetic!" Lu Bu shouted he rushed swinging his halberd the queen who quickly summoned a shield but was still sent flying backward slamming into the wall. Lu Bu was immediately on her while she simply teleported across the room shooting another bolt of magic at Lu Bu who dodged while rushing towards her.
What Lu Bu and Chrysalis didn't notice was that a certain lavender unicorn had made her way over to the bride. "Quickly, go to him while you still have the chance." Twilight said while freeing Cadence from the sticky Changeling goo that had her hoofs tied to the ground.
Cadence quickly made he way over to Shining Armor; she looked at her husband and laid a hood on his muzzle. She shed a tear and hugged him tightly. Suddenly sparks came out of her horn, and suddenly a small heart appeared and made it's way over to Shining Armor's head. The heart popped in front of his head.
"Huh? wha, huh? Is-is the wedding over?" Shining Armor asked. Cadence smiled in response.\
"Quickly! Preform your spell." Twilight said.
"No." Shining Armor said while trying to preform the spell. His horn gave off some sparks, but no magic came out of it. "My power is useless now, I don't have the strength to repel them." Shining Armor said defeated.
Cadence trotted over towards him and gave him a hug. "My love will give you strength." Cadence said while hugging him tightly.
Shining Armor closed his eyes and hugged her back. Suddenly Shining Armor's horn started glowing; Cadence horn did the same. Their horns connected with one another and a bright purple/pink light covered them. Cadence one's messed up mane and coat were returned to its normal state and her energy returned, Shining Armor's energy seemed to have returned to him as well.
The light became brighter and brighter, suddenly Cadence and Shining Armor's eyes became a bright white and the light became so bright that everybody had to close their eyes. Suddenly a big heart appeared. The magical energy became bigger and bigger until it 'exploded' sending a huge wave of magic across Canterlot. The magic didn't seem to affect the ponies nor Lu Bu.
Chrysalis was literally in a fight for her survival as this pony.....no demon was either smashing through her shield or almost impaling her. She dodged the halberd but not enough as it sliced through her side causing her let out a grunt of pain making her fall to the ground in pain. She looked up to see the demon thrusting his weapon down only for it to impale the floor as a huge magic wave hit her.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah! "Chrysalis screamed while she was sent flying off the balcony.
"What the hell?" Lu Bu spoke to himself as he watched this wave blow those things away.
Cadence and Shining Armor landed on the ground and hugged each other. Twilight quickly trotted over towards the recently freed Princess Celestia.
"I'm fine, you have a real wedding to attend to." Celestia said in her motherly tone.
"Whoa wait one minute." Rainbow Dash said.
"What is it Dash?" Applejack asked.
"I know we're all happy and so, but we still don't know who that is!" Rainbow Dash said while pointing her hoof at Lu Bu who pulled his halberd out from the floor.

                         Chapter 2

Chapter 2
All of the ponies, including the princesses, were eyeing the pony that was covered in blood even as he turned towards them. None of them said a word until...
"Drop your weapon!" a masculine voice boomed.
Lu Bu turned and saw a squad consisting of six royal guards: two pegasi, a large muscular earth pony, and three unicorns-ready to attack him.
"Stand down, or we will resort to force!" barked the earth pony.
"Ha! Don't make me laugh. You couldn't even defeat those insects!" Lu Bu bellowed while the guards just shifted closer towards him.
Tension started building in the air as neither sides were willing to give up, but before either side could do anything a thundering voice boomed.
"STAND DOWN! ALL OF YOU!" Princess Celestia boomed using her royal Canterlot voice. This startled everypony in the room (excluding Lu Bu), as they never heard the princess spoke in that manner before. Hearing this, the guards immediately saluted and stand their grounds without taking their eyes off Lu Bu.
After a moment of silence, Princess Celestia started walking towards the squad. As she got nearer, they knelt before her "You may rise my little ponies." she said in a motherly tone. Then she turned her eyes to the earth pony " Captain , I appreciate your concern for our security. But this pony meant no harm to us. Even he just saved all of us and all of Equestria from certain doom." she said while keeping her poker face.
"I didn't come here to save you," Lu Bu spoke causing everypony to look at him.
"Then why did you come here my pony?" Celestia spoke in a motherly tone while Lu Bu growled at her.
"Listen here! I belong to no one! Say that again and you will wind up like those insects." Lu Bu threatened causing everypony eyes to widen at how he just threatened a princess and didn't seem bothered by it.
"Hey, there buster you don't talk to Princess Celestia like that you got that? " Asked a very angry Rainbow Dash.
"Oh yeah and what are you gonna do about it!? " Lu Bu replied with an amused expression on his face.
"I'm gonna kick your flank if you try to hurt our Princess! " Rainbow Dash replied.
"And I'll buck ya in your chest until ya can't even walk straight! " Said Applejack.
"If you try to hurt Princess Celestia I will make sure you won't go out unharmed. " Said Twilight.
"I knew you were a brute the moment I laid my eyes on you! " Rarity said.
Lu Bu swung his halberd around before pointing it at them causing them to step back while Shining and the royal guards looked ready to jump this pony. "I have slain many of those weaklings while you were all captured by them. So please try me!"
"Why do you have to kill those Changelings?" Celestia asked causing everypony to look at her seeing a grim expression.
"They attacked and were too weak to kill me. I AM LU BU! THE STRONGEST TO EVER LIVE!"
"More like the thickest head," Dash spoke only to gasp in fear as Lu Bu glared at her. "It was just a joke!"
"Humph!" Lu Bu twirled his halberd around before holding it at his side walking towards the broken doors.
"Hey! Where do you think you going!?" Rainbow shouted causing Lu Bu to stop and look at her.
"To find more battles since all of you are obvious too weak to fight." Lu Bu stated.
Before he could walk out though a young dragon ran through the doors panting. "Twilight! Are....you...." he trailed off as he looked up at the strange stallion who was now looking down at the dragon.
"Woah! who is this Twilight?" he said while looking at Lu Bu.
Before Twilight could respond to his question Lu Bu answered. "I am Lu Bu. Who are you?"
"Wow! that's cool! I am Spike, Twilight's number one assistant." he said proudly.
Lu Bu was a little flabbergasted as this dragon....kid stared at him with amazement instead of fear. Normally those who saw him would run away with fear while mothers would hide their children as Lu Bu neared or was reported near a village.
Eveypony stared at Lu Bu with different expressions on their faces, some were looks of terror, others were looks of curiosity.
Surprisingly, Cadence was the one to walk up, towards Lu Bu.
Lu Bu saw her approaching and readied to swing his halberd in case she tried or looked ready to do anything.
"Cadence!" Shining Armor shouted while running after his soon to be wife. "Don't get close to him."
"Shiny, that pony just saved not only our wedding; but also all of Canterlot." Cadence said.
'Wedding? They were getting married?' Lu Bu thought.
"Hello? It's ok, we won't hurt you." Cadence said.
"Ha! As if any of you could!" Lu Bu shouted.
Cadence continued her speech ignoring what he said. "Well  Lu Bu, I think I speak for all of us when I say: Thank you for saving not only my wedding but also saving Canterlot and Princess Celestia." Cadence said.
"Humph." Lu Bu simply turned to walk out again only to be stop by a voice. "Wait." Lu Bu turned towards its owner to see Celestia walking towards him. "You should stay here."
"Are you commanding me?"
Celestia smiled. "No. I'm inviting you to a wedding. Whether you meant to or not you saved everypony and I thought it's only fair for the hero to stay."
"Not interested." With that being said, he turned to walk off. "There will be a party."
Lu Bu just ignored her as he neared the exit. "Awww! Who's going to help all this wine!?" Lu Bu stopped and turned only for his mouth to drop.
Everypony joined his jaw as sitting in the middle of the room was what appeared to be a hundred wine bottles, possibly more. Sitting on them was the pink pony.
Lu bu stared at before finally speaking. "I suppose I can stay for a little."
"YAY!" Pinkie shouted as she hugged Lu Bu who growled.
"Let go unless you wish to be split in half."
"Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here today not only to celebrate the union of the real Princess Mi Amore Cadenza--."
"Just Cadence is fine." Cadence cut Celestia off
The sun princess smiled in response. "The union of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, but also a new hero. A hero who not only saved the wedding, but also all of Equestria."
'God this is boring.' Lu Bu thought while walking towards the wedding hall's double doors (which had been recently fixed thank magic for that)
The double  a large red pony walking out of it. All of the ponies gasped when they saw the pony wielding a strange weapon. Lu Bu simply stared at them. "WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKIN AT!?" He shouted causing them to step back in fear while he simply walked until he stood behind Cadence and Shining Armor then he turned to face the crowd.
"My little ponies, may I introduce you to the hero who saved all of Equestria: Lu Bu." Celestia announced while Lu  Bu just scoffed.
"Lu Bu,  I can't thank you enough for the things you have done. From what I've seen; you are  brave and heroic. I am happy you were on our side and not on Chrysalis'." Cadance said.
"Of course you were." Lu Bu spoke arrogantly.
"And I would like to thank you as well if you didn't come all will be lost now; we and all of Equestria is in your debt." Shining Armor said while giving Lu Bu a bow. To his surprise; all of the ponies bowed to him, even Princess Celestia herself. Lu Bu was so surprised he didn't even move.
"Now we shall continue why we are all here". Celestia said. "May we have the rings please?"
Spike walked up with the two rings on a small pillow, the rings were covered in a golden aura and levitated over towards Cadence and Shining Armor. The rings were put on each other’s horns. Cadence and Shining Armor smiled at each other.
"I now pronounce you: mare and colt." Celestia announced.
Cheers erupted from the ponies in the wedding room for the recently married couple. Cadence and Shining Armor walked towards the balcony. They stood outside and looked at the city of Canterlot below them. All of the ponies on the streets started cheering for them.
Lu Bu stood by the princess' side, and followed the princess and the rest of the main six  to the balcony.
"Rainbow Dash, That’s your cue." Celestia said.
Rainbow Dash nodded in response and literally flew out of her dress. With an amazing speed, she performed her signature sonic rainboom high above Canterlot. "Best. Wedding. Ever!"
"What in the world!?"
As evening falls, Lu Bu was invited by Princess Celestia and the main six to attend the party that  took place on the castle's gardens. Princess Cadance and Shining Armor were embracing each other tightly in a slow dance. Lu Bu simply sat at one table downing another bottle of wine then tossed the empty bottle behind him which was added to the twenty bottles. "This is good stuff!"  The ponies could only watch shocked at this pony who should be drunk and passed out downing wine like it was nothing.
Celestia stood off to the side with the mane 6 as her sister flew in. She landed beside Princess Celestia "Hello everypony, did I miss anything?" she said in a soft tone.
The main six, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia looked at the scene with smiles planted on their faces; Rarity shed tears of happiness .
Pinkie Pie looked at Twilight, Twilight nodded and Pinkie Pie smiled with joy and made a little squeal.
She trotted over towards the DJ stand and somehow pulled Vinyl Scratch from behind it.
"Let’s get this party started!" Pinkie said while she grabbed a microphone with her mouth and threw it  towards Twilight. Twilight caught the microphone with her magic and started singing.

Though everypony was having fun, Celestia and Luna stared at Lu Bu. "Is that the pony that defeated the changelings?"
"Yes. He also seems to love to fight. I honestly fear he would hurt our ponies." Celestia spoke softly.
Luna stared at her sister. "You plan on imprisoning him?" Celestia silence was her answer.
Luna stared at the figure until an idea came up. "Instead of imprisoning him..."
Celestia turned towards her sister with a puzzled look.
"Why not let him serve in my night guard." Luna spoke.
Before Celestia could speak Luna held up a hoof. "My night guard love to fight and often spar with each other. Perhaps it could curb his blood lust."
Celestia didn't speak as she glanced back towards Lu Bu. She sighed. "Very well sister. Though I still worry."
"Fear not sister! He will be taken well care of by my ponies." Luna spoke.

                         Chapter 3

Chapter 3
The night guard is the complete opposite of the day guard. Though both served the princesses, the night guard was actually more prone into killing since being a warrior of past and that is still in their blood. They rarely let other ponies into their ranks for their training would kill a pony even those who had gone through the day guard training. Which brings us to Luna talking to her captain in her captain in charge of all the night guard.
Luna stood there staring at her captain who simply stared at her with an 'Are you serious look'.
"You want an earth pony who has not even gone through training to join the night guard?" The captain asked while Luna just stared at him.
"Speak you mind Captain Night Scar."
The pony standing in front of Luna share the same characteristics as all other night guards. The difference, however, was the that he had three scars going across his face.
"I think this is a stupid decision, your majesty. I don't think this pony....."
"Lu Bu." Luna interrupted.
"......Lu Bu should be made a night guard."
Luna opened her mouth but was cut off by somepony yelling. "I do not take orders!"
Night Scar stared at the door with an eyebrow raised before turning to back to Luna who sighed. "Let me introduce you."
The two walked out the door only to duck as a Royal Guard flew over their heads where he smashed into the wall and fell to the ground knocked out. The two slowly looked to see Lu Bu standing in the middle of Guards who had their weapons pointed at him. Plus there were about twenty guards laying across the ground knocked out.
Night Scar once again turned to look at Luna but was cut off. "After the party, me, and my sister spoke with Lu Bu. It was....difficult but we were able to get him to stay for a little....if he was allowed to fight." Night Scar turned back to the massacre...spar just in time to see Lu Bu send five guards flying with a single swing of his weapon.
"Is this all you weaklings have!?" Lu Bu shouted as he twirled his weapon before slamming the pommel into the ground.
The guards all grew confidence and proceeded to rush at him. Lu Bu simply swung his halberd down knocking a guard away before turning his halberd and slammed its pommel into a guards chest then swung upwards knocking all the guards away from him. "Are there no others!?" Lu Bu shouted, but all he received back were the groans of the guards which caused him to scoff as he twirled his halberd around before bringing it to his side.
Night Scar still didn't seem impressed while Luna just sigh at what her sister was going to say to her for this. "So you are Lu Bu?" Night Scar asked causing the said pony to turn towards him.
"I am. Though who are you?" Lu Bu asked as he narrowed his eyes at the bat pony who was walking over towards him. Night Scar stopped a few feet away letting the two stare at each other sizing one another up and neither backing down from the other stare.
Luna stared at the two before deciding to step in before they both were brought into a fight. "Lu Bu, this is my captain of the night guard.....and your commander."
Lu Bu immediately glared at Luna. "WHAT!? I never said anything about joining your pathetic guard!"
"How funny. Here I thought you were the pathetic one." Night Scar stated.
"You want to die vermin!? I could easily split you in half!" The two glared at one another.
"Lu Bu I know you dislike.....following orders, however, there are no battles for you to fight in." Luna stated.
"WHAT!?"
"If you joined the night guard however....You will always find somepony to fight whether it be a spar or fighing those who would harm Equestria."
Lu Bu stared at her.
"Unless you are just a weakling and coward." Night Scar stated and jumped back as the spot he was standing in had a halberd pierced it.
"YOU DARE CALL ME WEAK!?" Lu Bu shouted then glanced over at Luna. "Consider me in. But there better be strong opponents to fight." With that said, he walked out of the throne room.
Luna smiled as she glanced at her captain. "You did that on purpose." Luna stated while Night Scar had a small smirk on his face.
"I have no idea of what you speak." Night Scar smirk disappeared. "We have received reports of the griffons acting strange."
Luna stared at her captain. "How strange?"
"Everyday. More and more griffons are gathering to Raven Claw."
Luna stared out towards where the sun set. "Where the first pony and griffon began."
"We even heard a chant they said as they marched."
Luna didn't say anything but motioned for him to continue.
"Za dashu snaku Zigur, Durbgu nazgshu, Durbgu dashshu." Night Scar spoke.
"There are few who can understand the ancient language of the griffons."
"What does it mean?"
Luna didn't answer for a few minute before finally speaking. "The day of reckoning comes! The pony time is over! The age of the griffon rises."
The two didn't speak but instead stared down at Lu Bu who swatted another royal guard away. "You knew this. That's why you wanted this Lu Bu to join."
Luna silence was his answer. "The ponies need a hero to rally behind."
Night Scar was silent this time. "He may have.....tendencies but I believe he is the warrior ponies will follow."
The two remained quiet as they stared at the moon.

                         Chapter 4

Chapter 4
Lu Bu left the Canterlot with Night Scar and the two were making their way towards the home of the night guard. The path was through the woods that was supposedly filled with dangerous animals. The two were silent the whole way though Night Scar kept glancing out of the corner of his towards Lu Bu who eye twitched showing his impatience. "AAAH! WHEN WILL WE GET THERE! I WANT WORTHY FIGHTERS!"
Night Scar sighed. "We are almost there. We have just another twenty minutes." His answer only caused Lu Bu to growl.
The two however ears perked up while Lu Bu simply swung his halberd slashing a manticore in half. The thing body split in half causing its organs and stomach to spill out. "Even the creatures here are weak."
Night Scar didn't speak but simply walked over towards a tree and leaned against it. "What are you doing?"
"This is where a test will be conducted so I can judge with my eyes. This place is also filled with bandits."
As he was done speaking some griffons, minotaurs and diamond dogs jumped out holding all different types of weapons. "Ha! These weaklings will be no problem!" Lu Bu shouted.
"Well, your aren't you cocky." A minotaur with a scar going over his eye spoke while holding a giant axe in his right hand.
"Well aren't you just a big bag of weak." The minotaur growled.
"Kill him! Then the guard!"
The bandits all rushed towards him while Lu Bu just scoffed before swinging his halberd from right to left cutting through them then reversed it and swung left back to the right. The bandits were all cut down in its path. Lu Bu looked up towards the minotaur who growled.
"You quite strong. Why not join me."
Lu Bu stared at the minotaur while Night Scar stared at Lu Bu with narrowed eyes. 'What will you chose.'
"Think about it. With your strength, I can have whatever I want." The minotaur spoke while Lu Bu stared at him.
Lu Bu answer was to swing his halberd before the minotaur could react cutting him down. "I don't follow any man's orders. Especially a weakling like you."
Lu Bu twirled his weapon around before bringing it back to his side and glanced over at Night Scar. "Let's go. I am sick of all this waiting." Lu Bu spoke as he walked back in the direction they were heading. Unaware that Night Scar had pulled a dagger out as he was talking with the minotaur.
Midnight let out a yawn which turned into a yelp of pain as she was whacked up the head by Night Eye who stood next to her. "What was that for!?"
Night Eye glared at her. "We are here to greet the new guard joining our ranks. What do you think the captain will do when he see's you asleep."
Midnight glared at Night eye. "If that's the case then where are the other guard?"
The two were the only guards standing at the entrance their city with no other guards in sight besides the ones a hundred yards behind them in towers. "Just shut it. I see the captain and....." Night Eye stopped as he frowned.
"What is it?" Midnight asked before she glance in the direction of where he was staring and her mouth opened in shock. "A earth pony!?"
She watched as her captain and the pony were a few feet away before both saluted. "At ease."
"Umm captain who is this pony?" Midnight asked while the other guard glared at her.
"This pony is Lu Bu. The new recruit." His answer caused the two guards mouths to drop open in shock. "He will also be joining your squad."
"Captain! This is just a weak pony!" Night eye
"Who you calling weak vermin!" Lu Bu shouted at the Night Eye who simply looked at him bored.
"You." He stated as if it was the obvious thing in the world while Midnight laughed but then stood stiffly at attention when the captain glanced at her.
"How about I just cut you down now!"
"Please, I heard worse threats from a dog." He quickly moved out of the way as where he was standing had a halberd pierced into the ground. "It's going to be like that!?" Night Eye pulled his sword out as he was about to rush this pony.
"ENOUGH!" Night Scar bellowed out causing the two bat ponies to look at their captain who was glaring at Lu Bu. "Like it or not. You are going to be working with those two. Hold your blood thirst for you are going to have a spar with twenty-five of the guards.....and Night Eye."
"Twenty-five?" Midnight asked
"It's a test." Was all the captain said as he motioned for them to follow him. The ponies did so while Lu Bu just had a bored look on his face. As they walked through the city, Lu Bu saw many of these......vermin giving looks. Most were looks of analyzing while others looked at like he was weak. The children were even giving him looks.
"WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT!?" They just continued to stare at him causing him to growl.
"Are you done?" Night Scar spoke up causing Lu Bu to glance at him. "Your test is waiting." With that said he walked into a door that looked like......a stadium door. Inside was a stadium. Lu Bu saw bat ponies fighting with one and another. All activity stopped as they quickly rendered salutes. "At ease."
One of the guards walked up to the captain. "Sir where is the new recruit? Also why is an earth pony here?" While giving Lu Bu a glance.
"He is the new recruit." This caused the guards mouths to open in shock as they stared at the earth pony.
"You can't be serious Captian! This weak earth pony?"
"How about you try saying that with my weapon through your gut!" Lu Bu shouted causing the bat pony to glare at him.
"That is why I made this test up. Twenty-five of you will be sparring with him." Night Scar stated as if it was the oblivious thing in the world.
"You must really hate this pony, captain."
"HA! That's not even a warm up! I will crush all these vermin!"
All the guard glared at him while Night Scar motioned for Midnight to follow him up onto a platform. "The test will begin now! No Killing either!"
The bat ponies all pulled out their weapons as they slowly walked towards Lu Bu before one got too excited and rushed him. Lu Bu simply deflected his blow before catching him in his halberd and threw him into a wall where he smashed into it before falling to the ground knocked out. The guards glanced over and saw a pony size hole in the wall before turning back to Lu Bu.
Lu Bu twirled his halberd around before bringing it to his side. He glanced at up at his opponents. "COME VERMIN! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riVyHnMtf-0)"
Three of the guards immediately rushed towards him swinging their weapons while Lu Bu simply brought his halberd up blocking the three causing a loud *CLANG* as weapons collided with each other. The three guards were putting all their strength into it, but Lu Bu seemed unfazed as it seemed like he wasn't even using some of his strength. "AWAY WITH YOUR VERMIN!" Lu Bu shouted as he pushed their weapons up, then swung his halberd that slashed through the three ponies sending them flying backward ten feet where they landed knocked out.
Lu Bu blinked a few times as he didn't see any blood and even glanced down at his weapon. "Magic wards ensure we don't kill each other in here." Night Scar voice spoke out.
"Who's next!?" Five guards decide to rush at him from all angles while two came at him from above. "Don't underestimate me!" Lu Bu swung his halberd down hitting the ground sending the ones on the ground flying into walls while he simply swung his halberd upwards catching one guard then slammed him into the other. The two guards landed by Lu Bu hooves. Before they could react, Lu Bu simply raised his left hoof and kicked them sending them flying into the wall.
Midnight eyes were wide with.....amazement as she simply watched this pony.......no like a god.....god of battle literally destroying the guards and looked like he wasn't even breaking a sweat. "How?"
"You already heard of the invasion by the changelings," Night Scar stated causing Midnight to nod her head as she Lu Bu slashed down five guards with a single slash. "This pony....single-handedly cut down the changelings horde by himself." Midnight eyes widened
Lu Bu grabbed one guard by the face causing the guard to kick while it had no effect on Lu Bu. "I'm done with you!" Lu Bu followed his shout by slamming the guard into the ground before standing back up to stare at the last five guards who were staring at him with looks of wonder. "What's the matter!? Where is that bravado you had earlier!?"
The four guards quickly rushed at him while Lu Bu just stood there as he raised his halberd then swung it horizontally. The five guards raised their weapons to block but simply knocked away by the sheer force. Night Eye was the only guard standing. He quickly rushed at Lu Bu who was facing away from him. He raised his sword but let out a grunt of pain as Lu Bu spun and pierced his chest. He continued to grunt in pain as Lu Bu raised him in the air with one hoof. There he threw him up before slashing back and forth on him. After the fifth strike he spun and slashed downward sending Night Eye into the wall.
"Is that it!?" The guards were all letting out groans of pain.
"Wow!" Midnight exclaimed.
"Princess Luna vouched for his strength. His loyalty, however...." Night Scar trailed off.
"Captain?"
Night Scar shook his head. "Forget it. Just get used to your new squad mate. Also, send for aid." With that said he walked off.
Midnight turned back to stare at her new teammate. 'Lu Bu huh? Things might just get interesting around here.' Midnight thought as she licked her lips.

                         Chapter 5

Chapter 5
In the Undercaverns, the city of the bat ponies was quiet. It was no surprise as all the bat ponies were shocked at how a regular earth pony could take out twenty-five guards. Not even a well-trained guard could that. So it was peaceful in the city.
"I AM NOT WEARING THAT!"
Yup peaceful.
Lu Bu stood glaring at a guard who was glaring back though he had a bead of sweat going down his forehead. In front of the guard was the equipment that all guards wore. Specifically their armor. "Sir everypony of the night guard wear this."
"I wouldn't be caught dead in those!" Lu Bu shouted and seemed really close to killing or at least maiming this guard.
The guard opened his mouth to speak "You really are something." A voice spoke out causing Lu bu and the guard to glance towards the owner of the voice. Midnight was leaning against the wall while smirking at Lu Bu.
"Aw Midnight I was wondering when you would show up." The Guard that had been arguing with Lu Bu went behind himself and pulled out a box, setting it on the desk. "Your sword is repaired."
Midnight walked towards the box while Lu Bu kept his glance on her while she proceeded to open the box. Reaching in with a hoof she pulled out a sword. The sword was about the size of a regular sword, but the color of the entire sword was dark pitch black. The guard just rolled his eyes at the nickname.
Midnight turned her attention to Lu Bu who for once was quiet as he stared at this bat pony. "See something you like?" Midnight asked while twirling around.
Lu Bu shook his head and growled. "If you have time to talk, you have time to fight." To his surprise she simply giggled.
"You right! I haven't had a good fight in a long time." Midnight spoke with a smirk that showed off her fangs. "Anyway, we need to get going. The captain wants us to meet him at his office."
Midnight then began to walk out while Lu Bu just scoffed and began to follow her. "Hey, you still need your armor." The warrant officer shouted from behind them.
Midnight stopped turning around she spoke. "Sorry Cheify, but I doubt you could get that this guy here to do that." With that said she walked out with Lu Bu following her while smirking.
The two walked in silence as they headed towards the captain's office until Midnight decided to break the silence. "So where are you from anyway?"
Lu Bu glanced at her and decided to answer her. "Jiuyuan county."
Midnight cocked her head to the side. "I never heard of that place or seen it."
"I doubt you ever will," Lu Bu growled out, but Midnight just giggled. "What is so funny!?"
"You are really cute when you mad."
"I could easily kill you right now." Lu Bu spoke while glaring at her.
"Probably, but you won't ever meet somepony with this much sexy! You would miss me." Midnight spoke with a smirk.
Lu Bu just stared at her. "I just met you."
"Then you know you will miss me!" Midnight spoke with a smirk as she trotted ahead of Lu Bu who was glaring at her with his hoof holding his halberd twitching.
"Weaklings," Lu Bu growled out as he caught back up to her. "I am surrounded by weaklings!" Lu Bu then noticed the guards staring at him with....respect in their eyes? "WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT!?" This had the desired effect as they looked away.
Night Scar stared at the paperwork on his desk with a glare as he could have sworn it moved by itself. When he took over the position of Captain he was left with a warning that apparently was passed down from captain to captain. 'Beware the paperwork'
'I think I might be losing it.' Night Scar thought.
"WHAT ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT!?" Night Scar looked towards his door with a sigh.
"Does he have to be so loud?"
Night Scar glanced back down to his desk only for his eyes to narrow as he saw the pile of paperwork became bigger. 'I am losing it.'
There was a knock at his door. Night Scar opened his mouth to say enter when the door was kicked open. Lu Bu was the first to walk in while Midnight followed him in. Night Scar sighed as he saw Lu Bu without the armor of the night guard. "I am not going to even ask."
Midnight saluted while Lu Bu just stood there with a bored look causing Midnight to elbow him in the chest. "What was that for!?"
"You supposed to salute a officer!"
"I don't salute anyone!"
"I think you mean anypony."
Lu Bu growled at Midnight who just smirked at him.
"ENOUGH!" The two ponies glanced over at Night Scar.
"I didn't call you here to argue. I honestly don't care if you salute me or not, but I do expect you to complete the mission, understood?"
Midnight nodded her head while Lu Bu just glared at him at him, but Night Scar took it as a yes. "You two are going to Appleloosa."
"Appleloosa?" Midnight asked. "What about Night Eye sir?"
"We have been receiving reports that there will be a war between the buffalo and ponies there. Since Night Eye is....hoptilized along with most of the guard." Night Scar spoke while glaring at Lu Bu who was smirking. "It will be only you two."
"I thought the element bearers made peace between them though sir?"
"I don't know, but your mission is to find out what is going on and without fighting." Night Scar spoke the last word while glaring at the two. Midnight just rubbed her hoof on the back of her neck. Lu Bu was glaring back at the captain.
"Who are you telling when I can fight!?" Lu Bu shouted as he glared at the captain.
"The one who just gave the order. However, if any of you come under attack then fight back. Does that make you feel better?"
Lu Bu growled before turning and trotted out. Midnight just giggled while following him out. Night Scar sighed. 'Something tells me those two are going to give me headaches.' He turned back to the paperwork and saw it now towered over him. Night Scar response was to simply swat it down with a hoof before getting up and walked out of his office.

                         Chapter 6

Chapter 6
Lu Bu was not a patient pony by no more means. He had always believed that the only true justice in the world is not found in any court, but when one fights for one's life on the battlefield, where the strong survive and the weak are crushed. More of a man of action than talk, he disregards strategy and politics as a waste of his time (which is just as well, since he has little talent at either one). In spite of his repeated betrayals, Lu Bu had always been brutally honest and has little faith in or respect for politicians, bureaucrats, or any cowards who use deceit to gain power. For this same reason, Lu Bu despises sycophants and suck-ups and resented being Dong Zhuo's lackey. Though that didn't really matter now.
"Are we there yet?" Midnight asked with a whiny tone while one of Lu Bu eyebrows twitched.
"For the hundredth time NO!"
The two had left Canterlot and made their way towards their destination. Lu Bu wouldn't admit it but found some of this new land quite.......unique. Especially the vast forest they walked through. Lu Bu stopped his train of thought when he saw his companion open her mouth to speak. "If you ask 'there yet' I will kill you."
She closed her mouth but still had a smirk on her face while Lu Bu just huffed and looked straight. "When will we get there?"
Lu Bu roared as he turned and slammed his halberd an inch away from Midnight who still had a smirk with no trace of fear. The two stared at each other with neither backing down. Lu Bu let out a huff before pulling his halberd out and continued to walk forward with Midnight soon joining him at his side. "So where are you from exactly?"
Lu Bu just growled at her with an annoyed look on his face. "What kind of name is Lu Bu?"
Lu Bu eye twitched. "Looks like we half way there!"
Lu Bu glanced up to see sand everywhere. "Humph!"
Midnight rolled her eyes at the stallion before looking up to see the sun being lowered. "We need to make camp."
"Why?" Midnight gave him a look that asked if he was stupid which he noticed causing him to growl at her.
"We need to rest. We have been traveling all day."
"You just weak."
"Well, you can keep going but....do you know the way?" Midnight asked with a smirk on her face as she stared at the stallion who was scowling. "I thought so."
With that said Midnight had pulled out a tent from her traveling pack and had begun putting it together and smiled once she was done. She turned towards her partner who had not put his tent together but instead was just standing there. Midnight stared at with a look of confusion before she smiled. "You didn't get your traveling pack did you?"
Her smile grew wider as she saw a red blush appear on his face. "Will you shut up before I kill you."
Midnight just shook her head before she moved her armor and layed it in front of the tent with her sword laying within hooves distance. She crawled into her tent, layed down while also turning to look at Lu Bu who was leaning against a tree. "You could come in you know? There's room for both of us." She was answered with a growl.
"Will mature of you." Midnight deadpanned.
"I don't need your help."
"Will you stop being stubborn."
"I will when you are not weak."
"How about you stop being a dick?"
"How about you stop being a stupid ****?" Lu Bu asked with a smirk which vanished from his face as he heard her yell. Next thing he knows he was grabbed and tossed into the tent landing on his back while his halberd was impaled into the ground outside. Midnight walked into the tent. "Who do you think..." Lu Bu was cut off as Midnight pushed him onto his back with both of her hooves growling.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!?" Lu Bu stared at her and opened his mouth. "DON'T YOU DARE SPEAK!" Only to close it again.
"I AM LU BU! YOU DON'T ORDER ME AROUND!"
"OH YES I DO! I HAVE PUT UP WITH YOU ALL DAY AND YOU WILL STOP BEING STURRBORN AND BE A GOOD PARTNER! YOU CAN HATE ME BUT YOU WILL RESPECT ME! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!? I SAID DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!?"
Lu Bu stared at this mare with wide eyes as he never heard a woman yell at him before. He soon saw she fell down next to him and fell asleep after saying goodnight. Lu Bu stared at her for a few more minutes before laying his head down and letting sleep take him while thinking of the mare next to him with a smirk as his eyes closed.
Luna had her eyes closed as she watched the two ponies sleeping under stars with a smile. "Seems there might be a new couple in Ponyville." Luna concentrated her horn as she sent the two ponies peaceful dreams of their crush which hopefully would cause them to ask the other out the next day. Luna went to open her eyes when she felt another pull in her magic from dreams. Luna concentrated her horn but was confused when she couldn't see who it was. "Tis strange."
Luna still had a  smile though it disappeared as she finally opened her eyes to return to the waking world and turned to her desk and saw a piece of paper on it. She brought it over towards her. The paper was normal but on it was the seal of the Night Guard. What had her attention was the words on it.
"khe hauk begun. canaverloav ukhall bi. uko ukhall ul griffon kingdom riuke."
Luna glanced out to her moon with one last thought. "He's moving all the pieces to himself. King Metal Beak." As she spoke lighting flashed through the sky with thunder after it.
