Previous ChapterNext ChapterI lay on the bed with Karra nuzzling into me with one hand by my head and my other clasped firmly onto Karra’s thick ass, the blue-haired catgirl thoroughly enjoying the experience about as much as I was before speaking up:
“Since nobody’s come upstairs, and since there was a lot of noise downstairs a while ago, everybody’s dead?” she asked.
“Yup,” I nodded. “You’re not mad about that are you?”
“Nah, those guys were cunts,” Karra shrugged, rubbing her ears against my neck. “This way, I get to keep all the money.”
“Don’t forget there’s still a contract out for you,” I reminded her, looking over at the enormous pile of money and jewels. “And I’m guessing you’re not gonna be able to ship and fence all that without somebody noticing?”
“Yup,” she nodded, looking over at the money. “So I’ll fill up a couple of bags, get dressed, get a cloak, and slip over the border into Equestria and hope nobody finds me on the way.”
“So you’re out of a job now?” I asked her.
“Not really,” she shrugged, turning back to me and wrapping an arm around my chest. “Imma still rob people, just different people. Besides, I’ve got friends over most of the western world that can hook me up with work, whether it’s waiting tables in Equestria, washing boats on the eastern seaboard, or sucking dick in the capital of the southern countries. I got work sorted out.”
“You’ve got sources, then?” I asked with a cocked eyebrow.
“I guess so,” she nodded.
“Interesting…”
“Why’s that?”
“What would you say to helping me out for a while?” I asked her. “I can make sure it’ll pay well?”
“How well is well?” she asked. “It’ll take quite a few crowns to grease my palm.”
“I haven’t even told you what I want you to do yet,” I responded.
“Is it letting you fuck me?” she asked with a glint in her eye. “Cuz if it is, I’ll do it for free… okay, maybe half-price… quarter off, mate’s rates, I promise.”
“That wasn’t what I was offering,” I smirked. “I’m looking for a few special ladies across the globe, very exotic creatures that you have a lot in common with.”
“You looking for more Nekos?” she asked. “I’m sure there’s a brothel in Guoxia that’s completely dedicated to serving fine food, fine drinks, and finer feline fanny, if that’s what you’re looking for?”
“Not quite,” I continued. “I’m looking for monsters specifically, girlish ones, if you can manage…”
“Ohhh,” she said, nodding along with what I was saying. “You wanna kill the Monster Girls, right? I hear they’re worth a lot if you bring em back alive.”
“There will certainly be slaying of some kind involved,” I nodded with a grin. “Are you up for it?”
“What exactly will the job involve again?” she asked.
“It will involve you sitting on your ass in the Equestrian embassy, eating fine meals and drinking fine drinks for a ridiculous amount of money to send letters to your sources every few weeks asking if they’ve heard any rumours about Monster Girls in their respective area, then you’ll tell me about it and I’ll go investigate them,” I explained. “Sound fair?”
“... and you’ll fuck me?” she asked.
“And I’ll fuck you,” I said, kissing her on the cheek. “That sound good?”
“Sounds perfect,” she nodded. “But how’re you gonna make sure I get that job?”
“I’m kinda the prince of the entire country,” I shrugged nonchalantly. “And the guy that works at the front desk, Allen, owes me a favour. I’m sure he can get you a nice room.”
“You’re a prince?” she asked, her eyes practically glowing. “You’re practically made of money, aren’t you?”
“Yes, my gorgeous little gold-digger,” I chuckled. “I am.”
“And you were sent here to kill me?”
“Yes.”
“But you changed your mind?”
“Yes?”
“And now you’re offering me a job?”
“Yes.”
“All because I have a nice ass?”
“Oh yes.”
“You have a really fucked up way of thinking.”
“I know,” I grinned, sitting up on the bed. “Right, I’ve got to meet my friend at a whorehouse soon, so I’ll see you back in Equestria.”
“Going so soon?” she asked with a pouting expression. “Awww…”
“I know, but he’s an impatient git and I don’t want him bitching at me for hours for being late,” I said, going over to my gear to get dressed again.
“I suppose I best get going too,” she shrugged. “Before the rest of the guys get back.”
“Rest of the guys?” I asked, belting my sword onto my back. “I thought this was everyone?”
“Nope. A group of about seven or eight left a while back to hunt for food and shit,” she answered. “They’ve been gone longer than I thought they would, but that’s turned out for the better it seems.”
“Right then,” I said, sliding my shield onto my left arm. “I suppose I’d best go and kill them too.”
“Why?” she asked, pulling her leather pants back on, having to hop around and struggle to be able to fit her ass back into them.
“Because they’ll probably come back, find everyone dead and you gone and either go on a rampage and murder people, or come looking for you for revenge,” I answered, fastening the pouch belt around my waist and taking the head bag out of it before throwing it over to Karra. “Here, start stuffing gold in that.”
“Thanks,” she grinned. “It’s like I’ve got my own murderous, guardian angel with a monster cock.”
“Indeed it does,” I chuckled. “Now, whereabouts did you say they went?”
“Further north to the large lake,” she answered. “It’s the spot where all the deer gather and makes for a good hunting ground. By the way, how am I supposed to get your family to believe you sent me?”
“Right, I’ll go there now,” I nodded. “Oh, just walk up to them and say ‘I’m the catgirl Richter fucked in Winter’s Maw and he’s hired me to be an intel girl that can both track down Monster Girls and take a big load in the ass.’ They’ll know it was me that sent you after that.”
“Because you’re the only one they know that would actually say that?” she asked.
“Because I’m the only one they know that would actually do that,” I smirked, blowing a kiss at her before heading down the stairs. “Don’t wait up, I wanna see you back in Equestria with a list of locations and spread legs when I get back.”
“Yes, boss,” she giggled before I headed into the hall.
Leaving the fort and making headway into the northern forest, the sun’s glow having already left the land cold and dark during the after-sex glow Karra and I shared, I found it harder to navigate to the location I was heading towards. The snow crunched and the pine trees shook under my weight and force as I stomped and pushed forward, hearing the sounds of clashing steel and what sounded like thunder followed by what sounded like a… roar.
No way.
I took off into a sprint, dashing and ducking past and under everything in my way, hearing the thunderous booms of giant wings, the blasts of elemental magic, and the furious roar of a dragon.
“Murderers!” a furious shriek came from the nearby lake. “How dare you!?”
I went as fast as I could, lungs and muscles screaming for me to stop second before I crashed through the snowy brush, bearing witness to the sight of slaughter: corpses strewn about, fire, acid, and stains of all kinds decorating the landscape as shattered trees and torn-up ground dotted every which way, and in the centre of it, stood the creature I’d come here to look for:
The Omega Narrowscale.
Her claws and teeth were stained with blood, her beautiful white scales scuffed and scarred from deflected sword and axe blows from the bandits, her eyes alight with fury and her enormous body heaving with rage. The sound of my entrance caught her attention, her slender neck lashing in my direction as a look of pure fury was sent down my spine.
“Another one?” she asked in a sinister growl. “You’ll die like the rest.”
“Wait, wait wa-” I began only to be cut off by a torrent of white fire blasting towards me. I threw up my arm with my shield on it, the metal catching the stream and keeping the fire off my body, but not reducing the impact of the blast in the slightest, sending my skidding back several feet as I struggled to stay on mine. With an exerted growl, I threw myself to the side, avoiding the stream of fire long enough to wave and shout at her.
“I’m not your enemy!” I bellowed, trying to get her to calm down. “I mean you no harm!”
“Liar!” she screeched, filling her lungs again and charging up what seemed like an electric blast, something the shield would be no help against whatsoever.
“Fuck!” I yelled, throwing myself down into the snow and rolling forward, attempting to get under her mouth to dodge the blast, only to her her step forward and pin me down with her enormous paw, her weight mere seconds away from crushing the life out of me. A pained roar tore from my lips as she cut off her stream of lightning and pushed harder, my legs about to snap in half as she looked down at me with glowing hatred.
“What are you here for?” she snarled menacingly.
“I’m here to talk to you…” I managed to choke out, the weight making it extremely hard to speak.
“For what purpose?” she demanded.
“It’s... kinda hard to… explain…” I muttered.
“Then don’t,” she responded. “Stay still and I’ll find out myself.” With that, she lowered her muzzle down towards my forehead, the hot breaths from her nostrils blasting me in the face as the tip of her nose touched my forehead. I was immediately overcome by a sensation of invasion as she tore hey way through my mind, reading memories from years gone bye until she settled on the reason I came here. At this point she broke the connection, moving her head back and staring at me with her icy blue eyes. I knew at this point I was dead. She’d just seen the sole reason I came here, the sole reason I wanted anything to do with her, and I knew she wasn’t happy.
She exhaled slowly, her scaly eyelids dropping briefly as she blinked, before opening her mouth to speak:
“I believe we can come to an agreement,” she said, removing her paw from on top of me and stepping back several paces.
“Excuse me?” I asked, attempting to sit up only to drop due to the lack of breath in my system. The Narrowscale snaked her tail around her, tucking it under my body, and pushing me up into a sitting position with it, sitting down on her own haunches and looking at me.
“I said I believe we can come to an agreement,” she said. “You have something you need from me and there’s also something I need from you.”
“And what would that be?” I asked, feeling quite pleased at the fact she wasn’t going to eviscerate me on the spot.
“A certain item in a certain temple in a certain part of this place,” she said in a not-at-all cryptic manner.
“Okay… care to go on?” I asked.
“That depends, are you aware of the habits of my species?” she asked.
“Is that… mating, hunting, sleeping, eating?” I asked.
“Hoarding,” she answered.
“I’m aware that dragons have a liking of treasure in large amounts and often spend lifetimes acquiring a single item if they believe it is worth their while to do so,” I answered, half-quoting a textbook on the subject in my answer.
“You are correct, Richter,” she nodded. “And this specific item I’m after is more than worth my while.”
“You know my name?” I asked. “I’m guessing you got it from my mind?”
“Indeed,” she nodded. “Now, are you willing to help me recover this item?”
“Of course I am,” I nodded. “Whatever you need me to do, Mrs…”
“Svea,” she answered. “Svea of the Clan Kaltving, third child of Orasmus and daughter of the High Dragoness Ivelya.”
“It is an honour to meet a daughter of one of the Draconic Priestesses,” I said, bowing low to the regal dragoness.
“You are aware of my species customs?” she asked. “I may have neglected to look that far back.”
“I’m aware of some of it, the important parts,” I answered. “Mostly history and modern etiquette, things like the Battle of Broken Egg Castle and how it is considered impolite to compliment a dragoness that you aren’t Bonded to or have mated with on the fullness of her flank during her heat cycle and that a youngling is not of breeding age until their scales have changed from a soft, circular shape and into a rigid, octagonal shape.”
“That knowledge seems quite juxtaposed, Richter,” she said. “Why would you specifically remember those things?”
“Mostly because it impresses people at parties if you have good knowledge,” I said. “And it helps avoid both moral and legal trouble when trying to pick up women.”
“Mhm, quite,” she said. “You’ve obtained quite a few sexual habits, have you not? Tell me, do any of those high number of habits correlate with a high number of skills?”
“I’ve got a lot of time and a lot of energy,” I shrugged. “If you can scrape the snow off the ground and find a comfortable way to position yourself, I’d be more than happy to show you?”
“Perhaps another time, Little One,” she giggled. “We’ve work to do.”
“Very well,” I nodded. “But if I may be so rude: don’t you think it’s a little early to be flirting with me?”
“Not at all. With my examination of your intentions and inner consciousness, I’ve been able to divine that you’re an honest and trustworthy person with a good heart and a positive outlook on life,” she said before her voice dropped to a more sultry tone as she spoke once more. “And, between you and me, I’m a very lonely girl, and any man that can boast the figures you can is one I’m more than interested in getting to know.” With that she began to pace forward, but not before giving me a seductive wink and gently slapping me on the ass with her tail as she lead me to wherever we were going.
At that point, I knew Svea and I were going to get along like a house on fire:
Hot, sweaty, and full of burning desires to spray liquid on every part of us that needed it.
