Seeing Red (Comment-Driven Outcome) [Unedited]
Previous ChapterNext Chapter“So,” I said, taking a bite of the gammon I’d picked out from the selection. “What’s the story with the baby factory?”
“Verella wants to create a new breed of Vampire,” Aleksandra answered, sipping from her wine. “She’s spent thousands of crowns and many years experimenting with Vampiric DNA, trying to find a solution to a male vampire’s inability to reproduce. She tried everything she could think of, from restarting a male vampire’s heart, to artificially erecting their genitals, and several others methods that claimed the lives of many male and female vampires, she believed that her experiments to create a reproductively-viable had failed entirely. Until she heard about you.”
“I can understand why she’d pick me,” I said, drinking from a glass of juice. “But what was her reasoning? The inner workings of Alicorn genetics aren’t exactly something you can rent a book about at your local library. Believe me, I have a family member who tried to find one some years back.”
“Verella is a very old creature,” Aleksandra continued. “She’s gathered together every scrap of information she could about Alicorn from all four corners of the Earth, and was able to deduce two things: One: Your species can reproduce with any creature on this planet. Two: Male alicorn can repair damaged female reproductive organs.”
I stopped slicing the gammon at this point and looked at Aleksandra with confusion.
“Excuse me?” I asked.
“Her research was able to narrow down several different Alicorn through history that were able to have children with wives that were reported as infertile,” Aleksandra explained. “Entire lines of Alicorn have come from females that were supposed to be barren. Though her research confirmed that it doesn’t work the other way around, at least in the manner the males does.”
“So… if a male Alicorn ejaculates inside a female, of any species, with ovaries, fallopian tubes, or a uterus that doesn’t function properly-” I began.
“That male Alicorn’s ejaculate can heal and repair that female’s reproductive organs,” Aleksandra finished. “And Verella wants to use you to sire a line of natural, and enhanced, vampires.”
“I get the natural, but where does the enhancement come from?” I asked.
“Genetic purity,” Aleksandra said, swallowing down some steak. “An Alicorn cannot be born with a genetic fault of any kind, be it mental, physical, or otherwise. Your species is perfection incarnate, and Verella wants to use your healing abilities to create fertile vampires, both male and female, as well as removing all of the genetic faults our species suffers from? The Haemoglobin deficiency? Gone. Naturally-defunct organs? Gone. You’d be the father to a race of super-vampires with none of the drawbacks that our species has suffered from for thousands of years.”
“The weakening due to sunlight?” I asked. “How does that get fixed? Because that sure as hell isn’t a genetic problem. That’s part of a curse, correct?”
“Indeed you are,” Aleksandra nodded. “Verella hasn’t found a way to counteract this condition, but when facing the issues of infertility and organ failure, not being able to teleport as easily in the sun doesn’t seem like that much of an issue, does it?”
“Fair enough,” I said, finishing my fruit juice. “So when are you going to ask me to do this for your side?”
“I wasn’t planning on it,” Aleksandra said, avoiding my eye.
“I’m many things, Aleksandra,” I said, pointing at her with my fork in my hand. “But I’m not stupid. You’re practically dripping at the thought of having your own super-vampires to command once… if you’re back in control of your species. I’d be a fool not to notice that. So from where I’m sitting with both of you using thralls, both of you feeding on unwilling humans, both of you ‘reproducing’ by kidnapping and ruining the lives of innocent humans, why should I help you and not her? Killing one of you off isn’t going to change the way your species works, it isn’t going to get a new, better kind of vampire law instated. From where I’m sitting right now, the only thing helping you is going to change is the colour of the flag flying on vampire castles.”
“... If you’re unwilling to help, Richter, I understand completely” she said, wiping her mouth with a napkin. “But you are dangerously close to the edge of angering me. And myself being angry is not a thing you wish to see.”
“Funny that you say that, honey,” I said, slowly sliding my chair back to give myself room. “I was about to say the exact same thing to you.”
“Guards!” Aleksandra ordered, pointing a manicured nail towards me. Suddenly two large and armoured vampires puffed into existence from clouds of smoke, both reaching towards me with weapons draw. Having given myself the room, I was able to rocket back on my chair, tipping it over and rolling back onto my feet. I extended the blade hidden on my arm and stabbed one of the vampires in the back of the leg, causing him to drop onto the his knee. I then stood up and violently wrenched his neck, snapping his spinal cord and causing him to lose all mental control to his body. He may not have been dead, but he couldn’t move his body to get back up again.
I turned my head to the side in time to see the second vampire guard stepping forward with a lunge of his serrated sword. I brought my arm up, catching the serrated blade between the metal of the hidden blade and the metal of my gauntlet, catching one of the serrations, making it unable to move due to the resistance. I repeatedly slammed my fist into the guard’s face, crunching and breaking his nose while spewing blood down his face and my fist before stabbing my blade through his throat, severing both his windpipe and his spine, rendering him as useless as the first one.
I launched my hand with the blade trapped in it up into the air, tearing the sword from the grip of the vampire, before catching the leather-bound hilt in my tight grip, turning around to point it at Aleksandra only to spot that she’d disappeared in a puff of vampiric smoke. I chuckled quietly, tearing the sheath from the belt of the second vampire who was gurgling his own spit and blood before tying it to my belt.
“So…” I said to myself as I retrieved my trench coat from the chair, adorning the brown item. “She showed her true colours before we’d even shaken hands?”
I pulled my hood up and my mask back over my face, cracking my neck loudly, as I clenched the hilt of the new sword and kept my hidden blade extended.
“And here was me thinking that vampires kept cool until the end,” I smirked. “And she already told me everything about her evil plan and expected me not to ask if she was going to do it? It’s a good job I didn’t end up helping her. Giving the game away that early means you’d be a terrible ruler.”
I walked around the room to the door I spotted, knowing that Aleksandra was probably screaming orders at her vampire lackeys behind the safety of a wall of guards like the arrogant cowards all did. I’d have to get past her castle of creeps if I wanted to cut her heart out personally and take out one half of the problem before moving onto to Verella’s humble abode.
Shame, too. She looked like she could give a mean titfuck.
I booted the door open, no point in being stealthy now, as I saw several armed and angry looking vampires rushing towards me with weapons and armour ranging from mails, flails, and spears. I was disappointed one person didn’t bring a rail from a wall. Then all three weapons would’ve rhymed. One of them rushed at me with his flail, swinging it with purpose. Thanks to this weapon needing one hell of a wind-up and a cooldown to swing again, he left himself wide open for a vicious stab straight through the heart. I considered myself lucky this idiot wasn’t wearing plate armour like the last guys or else my life would’ve been made infinitely more difficult.
I wrenched my blade out in a twisted arc before throwing the corpse at the vampire with the first vampire with the spear, knocking him over and allowing me to grab the spear from him, swinging the metal handle as hard as I could into the exposed neck of the third vampire, hearing it break with a loud cracking sound. Once he went down to the ground, I threw the weapon away in a pivot movement before clutching my sword with both hands, and cleaving it down onto the vampire pinned down by his friend. It cut through his neck easily and his head rolled away while the stump sprayed no blood, only poured due to the lack of pulse.
With the three of them down, I cleaned the blood off my blade with a sleeve and continued on, looking at the gothic design of the castle as I encountered more and more guards. It was clear that they were amateurs or fresh-bloods, as they made no effort to use any of their vampiric magic or power against me, instead falling to my blade like a field of wheat does to a scythe. Room after room of grunts brought me closer and closer to where I hoped was either the exit or the throne room.
I took a deep breath, gripped my sword as I ran down a long, grand corridor before booting a set of double doors open, seeing a large room full of vampires, more vampires than I believed I could handle, in heavy plate armour with even heavier weapons. There was a moment of silence followed by the sound of heels clicking on marble before Aleksandra appeared behind me, clutching a dagger in her hand.
“You’re a fool, Richter,” she growled furiously. “I could have given you power beyond your wildest dreams. I could have made you a legend and a hero for our kind. Instead… all you’ll be made into is a warning for that red-headed whore and her people. A warning to never cross me again.”
“We’ll see about that,” I snarled, getting into a ready stance and gritting my teeth. “Bring it on, Aleksandra.”
“I’ve a better idea,” a familiar female voice spoke. There was another puff of black smoke as a figure formed behind Aleksandra, clutching her breast before ramming a long dagger through her back, right through her heart. The figure formed fully, their appearance and colour returning to them to reveal Verella, clad in battle armour, with a sickened smile on her face. She retracted the blade from Aleksandra’s back and turned her around, grabbing her by her back and staring at her with both anger and arousal.
“I’d hoped I’d get to be the one to do this to you, Dearest Sister,” she giggled, prodding and poking the hole in her back as Aleksandra squirmed and moaned in pain. “That not only did I cast you out, steal your life as Queen… I’d steal your life as a whole.”
Verella smirked evilly, staring at Aleksandra’s mouth as she murmured and stammered some kind of sentence that I couldn’t understand before leaning closer to her, sliding her tongue into her mouth, and kissing her with what appeared to be true affection. Verella continued to embrace and kiss her victim, her sister, before pulling away from her and clamping her teeth into her neck, drinking her blood with a look of rage in her emerald eyes. Once draining her sibling dry, she threw the corpse to the floor, switching her grip on her knife to a pinch grip before throwing it at Aleksandra, and impaling it in her skull. She wiped the red stains from her mouth before looking up at me with a sickening smile.
“Richter, dear boy,” she said, walking towards me. “You’ve done well. I wasn’t expecting you to lead me to our little whore as fast as you did… but here we are, you smeared in the blood of traitors and me? Happy and full as the last remaining heir to the vampiric throne.”
“You bitch!” one of the vampires behind me hollered, charging towards her with their sword held aloft. Verella clicked her fingers and in less than a second the room was filled to the brim with smoke clouds that soon formed into even more intimidating vampires that swiftly began to cut down Aleksandra’s forces. I turned around to prepare myself for combat only to be grabbed from behind by Verella who immediately smoke-puffed us both out of the room and into a fireplace-lit bedchamber.
“Don’t bother with that, Sweetie,” she chuckled, using her immense vampiric strength to disarm me, snap my hidden blade, and tear the coat from my body. “You’re not gonna need to defend yourself.”
“Verella!” I snapped angrily, placing my hands on her shoulders in an attempt to push her back only to have her overpower me again.
“Come on…” she giggled, running her tongue over my neck. “Don’t act like you don’t want me. I can smell the lust you experience every time you look at me, Richter.”
“You’re delusional,” I said as she dragged us both onto the large, king-sized bed.
“So?” she giggled, wrapping her arms around my shoulders and hugging me close. “That doesn’t change the fact you’ve got a lot to gain from siding with me.”
“Like your race of super-vampires?” I asked.
“Yes, my race of near-human, super-powered, not-needing-to-feed-on-and-enslave-humans-to-survive super-vampires,” she said, clicking her fingers and making her armour disappear into smoke, revealing herself in black lingerie. “My race of super-vampires that can coexist with humans in a peaceful environment and never need to harm them for food again. The race of super-vampires that I will forever be in your debt for creating and will allow you access to my money, resources, and body should you ever need them.”
I hadn’t thought of that…
“Fuck me, Richter,” she said, quickly unbuttoning my shirt with her strong fingers. “Start with me. Then another girl in a few years. Then two after that. Then three, four, five. We can stop whenever you want to stop, Richter. Sure, the second generation will be a little inbred, but we’ll still be pure because of your species. You’ll have saved a race from a curse and have allowed us to live in peace once again.”
She made a good point...
“Don’t you want to go down in history as the man that pioneered peace between humans and monsters?” she asked, removing her bra and clamping my hands onto her enormous breasts.
She had really nice tits.
“Richter,” she begged, rubbing her hand against my crotch. “Fuck me…”
