Advice From Aunt Luna (Unedited)
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI was a terrible person. I was a fucking disgrace.
I was sat with my head on my arm in the dining area of the tower, having hit it and quit it with the now-infatuated catgirl I swore I’d never touch, swore on my honour as a decent human being to not even think about in a sexual manner and within seconds of seeing her nude and willing I’d rutted her harder than I’d rutted anything in a long time. I was disgusted with myself for my actions, feeling sick to my stomach that I’d fucked her. That I’d enjoyed fucking her as much as I did on top of that. I sighed in a deflated manner, hearing the loud crunch of an apple from the pantry as I lifted my head up to see Luna leaning against the table with a fresh apple in her hand and a confused look on her face.
“What’s wrong with you?” she asked with a cocked eyebrow.
“I shredded my moral fibres in less than twenty minutes,” I admitted.
“Fucked Kalla?” she suggested.
“Yeah,” I nodded. “How’d you guess?”
“You have the expression of someone that’s coming to terms with fucking an underaged individual,” Luna said, sitting down at the table across from me. “Don’t worry, you’ll either harden your resolve to never do it again, or your guilt will melt away around the… third or fourth time you’ve done it. Trust me.”
“How can you be so nonchalant about that?” I asked. “About a lot of things, actually. You bring up child molestation, murder, and all kinds of disgusting topics like you were talking about a fucking bread recipe.”
“Eh, you’ve got a right to know,” Luna shrugged. “It’s not something I keep secret, anyway. The reason I can bring up, joke about, and even do the disgusting things I talk about is because I have no moral fibre nor any sort of conscience due to over four thousand years of living through the most fucked up shit and doing the most fucked up shit you can ever imagine. My innocence, humanity, and psyche are so completely destroyed that the reason I haven’t turned into a mass-murdering villain more than once is because there’s no logical point to it.”
“... You’re fucking kidding me, right?” I asked.
“Not at all. My emotions, political and religious beliefs, and decisions are all dictated by the best outcome,” Luna shrugged. “I’m essentially an emotionless husk that forms bonds with people on a surface level that are genuine, but will be severed immediately if they become illogical.”
“That’s… horrible.” I commented.
“Oh yeah. I’m a monster. Both Celestia and I are exactly the same. We have friends, loved ones, and people we trust, but are perfectly ready to sacrifice all of them if it’s for the greater good or a logical reason. For example: I’d be more than ready to kill you without hesitation if you ever became a threat. Say you went rogue or were overcome by your Nightmare Form; I’d put you down like a rabid dog in the quickest and most efficient way possible.”
“That makes me feel comfortable,” I said in a drained tone.
“If that makes you feel bad then let me tell you about the time I smothered a baby in their cot to prevent them being brought up to continue a race war, assassinated the toddler prince of a country we were at war with, and butchered a pregnant empress as an example to her people to strike fear into them to prevent an uprising after we’d conquered the country,” Luna said, counting each event off on her finger. “I am the most heartless, evil, and cruelest people on this planet and have tales told of my doings to the Elven children as scary stories to make them behave.”
I blinked blankly at Luna for several seconds. Ignoring the ice-cold temperature my blood had dropped to, this revelation about both her and my Grandmother was horrifying. I’d known for my entire life that they were both dangerous, but this little chat seemed to prove to me that they were pure evil. Murdering several types of children and slaughtering pregnant women was something reserved for shock-horror plays and serial killer diaries, not the behaviour of supposedly-regal rulers. I wasn’t sure what to think about them now, knowing even some of the deeds they had done.
“I can see in your eyes that you’re scared, Richter,” Luna said, crunching her apple again. “But to be honest with you, you have every right to be. I had that exact same look on my face hearing stories from older Alicorn of all the ghastly things they’d done to preserve peace and strengthen their rule. They were stories that kept me up at night and made me wake up in cold shivers. I was in your position, swearing that I’d never do anything like that in my life… but you can’t tell what the future holds.”
“Am… am I going to end up like you?” I asked, slightly worried about it.
“Do you want the answer your mother would give or the answer I’d give?” Luna asked with a bored expression.
“Your answer,” I nodded.
“Oh my yes,” she said with a grin. “You’ll become a tyrant as everything life throws at you whittles away your humanity and turns you into a jaded, hateful, bitter, old man trapped in the youthful body. You’ll probably go through phases of rejecting any contact with the world, then fully indulge in your hateful acts and draw pleasure from them, sexual and otherwise, and you’ll then probably wise up to where Celestia and I are in life: try to live as justly as possible but having no problems setting up a few assassinations, rapes, and child murders if it prevents problems later on down the road.”
“Why rapes?” I asked.
“It’s a phenomenal intimidation tactic,” Luna shrugged. “Completely destroys a person’s confidence and sense of humanity, and that makes them much less eager to rebel or cause a fuss.”
“I would never do that,” I said, fiery denial spilling from my mouth.
“Is this the same way you’d never fuck Kalla?” Luna asked, raising an eyebrow.
“That’s different-” I began before being cut off.
“Of course it is, consensual and nonconsensual is a big difference,” Luna nodded. “But the problem isn’t just that. It’s the fact that you were able to shut off your moral compass long enough to fuck the life out of an ‘innocent, mentally challenged young girl’ because it was something you’d draw pleasure or benefit from. And doing things like that, as you can attest to, is a lot like killing people: it only gets easier and easier. The more and more you perform actions, be it beatings, murders, theft, assassination, arson, torture, or even rape, the easier it gets because you learn to shut off your morals and do it without remorse.”
“Then I’ll make sure I never start doing that,”
“Is that in the same way you never started fucking Kalla?”
“...”
“Richter… take it from me. We all start out as wide-eyed, soulful innocents. But the world is a dark place and it isn’t a matter of when it strips you of your innocence. It’s a matter of when. And if you manage to make it to a thousand years old, I want to sit down with you at a table and have you discuss with me every man you’ve had murdered, every woman you’ve raped, and every war you’ve started just because they had something you want,” Luna chuckled. “May I ask you something?”
“Sure…” I said apprehensively.
“Have you ever heard of the ‘two paths in life’ saying?” she asked me. “The path of light and path of dark?”
“Yes…”
“Let me tell you a little secret I’ve learned in my years,” Luna said, leaning closer to me. “There aren’t two paths. There’s no light path and dark path. There’s only a slope. A slope from your high horse of holiness into the dark depth of depravity and dirt, Richter. And d’you wanna know the only thing you need to push you down that slope?”
“What?” I asked.
“Time, my boy,” she said with a serious tone. “Just survive long enough, endure the world and let it wear away your smile to reveal the darkness underneath. And let’s be honest here, you’re not a pinnacle of paragon purity, are you? You wash in sin. Live in it. You bathe in and drink the sex of your female family members, you kill indiscriminately if you feel justified in doing so, and you’ve already sacrificed your morals by fucking something you swore previously to never touch. Face it Richter, you’re already slipping deeper and deeper. It’s only a matter of time before you slide right into the darkness that’s waiting to swallow you whole.”
“I am not an evil person,” I said defiantly.
“Not yet,” Luna chuckled. “But when we get home, when you next fill the womb of the woman who gave birth to you with your cum, ask her how far she’s slipped into darkness. And once she’s done dickriding the child she raised for eighteen years, she might tell you a story about the innocent little Alicorn that was afraid to tell boys she liked them. And then she might tell you to fuck her in the ass.”
“You sound like you’re glorifying this whole ‘turning evil thing’, Luna,” I said in a cold tone.
“I do, don’t I?” she asked, leaning back in her seat. “I think I let the mask slip a little too much. After all, I don’t want you to see what you’ll become just yet, do I?”
