(Torian`s POV, 1 week after Sombra incident)

I was at home in my hanger where my F6F was stored for maintenance and tinkering if I got bored. I was inside the cockpit cleaning the instruments to keep the plane in top shape for when I want to fly it again, then I hear a knocking at the hanger doors.

"Who could that be?" I asked myself as I opened the heavy doors to reveal that it was the lovely Minuette. "Oh hey, Minuette." I said with a smile as I invited her inside.

"Hey, Torian I was kinda wondering about something and it`s rather silly." Minuette replied as she walked inside the hanger with an embarrassing blush on her face. I found this adorable but was puzzled with what she wanted to ask me.

"So what do you need?" I asked sitting in a wooden chair. Minuette still looked uneasy but took a deep breathe and began.

"I wanted to ask you if... you wanted to... go out on a date with me?"

I honestly saw this coming since were dating and all, but I still didnt understand why she was still shy to ask me certain things, I can only theorize that this must be her first relationship, But how could I turn down such a beautiful mare.

"OK, sure, what have you got planned?" I asked. But she gave me an uneasy look and replied.

"Oh, um I was hoping you would decide on this one." Minuette said a little embarrassed and I was completely off guard that I was choosing what to do for our date. Then Minuette spoke up again. "Here`s a suggestion that might be fun, what about a flight in your machine?"

"You want a ride aboard my F6F?" I asked. Minuette nodded in response with a hopeful look on her face.

My Hellcat wasnt designed to carry 2 people in the cockpit and if I let Minuette inside, it will block my view of the instruments and outside the plane. But what she didnt know was that I had a solution and will be the perfect opportunity to test out something I`ve been working on.

"Minuette, Ill take you for a ride but not in the F6F, but in a different aircraft I designed to fly 2 occupants." I said as I guided her over to a tarp. "Id like to introduce you to... the Curtiss Jenny."

I pulled the tarp to reveal a biplane I`ve been working on using unused wood, cart wheels nopony wanted, and the engine with the help of Twilight so it runs on magic. Minuette did look at it as if it were impressive, but then had a question.

"Where did you find time to make this?"

"I usually spend about 5 hours a day on it, considering it also takes a while to find the parts." I replied smiling. "Ready to go?"

Minuette seemed hesitant at first but then climbed into the 2nd seat as I had to start the engine by spinning the propeller. Grabbing a blade, I pulled it down as hard as I could and stepped back as the propeller spun and the engine made a loud pop before starting up. I climbed into the cockpit and began to ease on the stick and the plane slowly moved outside the hanger.

"Minuette, you may want to strap in." I forewarned as Minuette strapped in the safety harness to prevent us from falling out. Now outside the Hanger I turned left to face the long run way we had and began pushing the stick forward as the plane began to pick up speed. Soon almost half way down the run way, the plane began bouncing a little as it hit and lifted from the ground. With a speed of almost 120 mph, I pulled back the stick to pull the nose up and we began to gain altitude marking the success of the first take off of my custom built biplane.

As we neared 1,000 ft in altitude, I looked back to see Minuette fascinated by how high we could go and what she could see from here. Then I decided to impress her with some simple tricks like barrel rolling and looping and I even showed her what to do in a stall. When I was low on speed at an altitude of over 3,000 ft, I used my tail flaps to push the aircraft`s nose down where I opened the throttle to regain speed and pull out in less than a 1,000 ft of lost altitude.

Soon we spotted Rainbow Dash sleeping on a cloud and looked back at Minuette, signalling her to look down on her left. I showed her my evil, yet playful look on my face and I flipped the aircraft upside down and began a dive to only pull positive Gs to avoid ripping the aircraft apart. We sped up and dove past Rainbow as I was only able to catch a glimpse of her being frightened from the rude awakening. As I pulled out from the dive, The sun was beginning to set over the horizon and I wasn`t trained to fly at night so I set a course for home.

After landing the aircraft on the airstrip and parking it at the end of the run way, I got out and helped Minuette out as well.

"That... was... amazing, I understand why you love to fly." was all that Minuette said before I gave her a romantic-filled kiss and embraced her. Then broke the kiss so I could respond.

"And this is why I love you."

Once more, our lips joined again as we made out under the rising moon and the beginning of the night. After what felt like an enternity, we broke our kiss and I could tell that me and the beautiful dentist were blushing madly as I decided to give her something that meant alot to me and my lost squadron.

"Here, I want you to have this." I said as I put it in her hoof, which was my Squadron Lockette. "Open it up."

Minuette opened the lockette and gasped as she saw a picture of me on one side and her on another.

"I love it!" Minuette then pulled me into a tight embrace before continuing. "Thanks so much." I happily returned the happiness I brought upon her and held like this for what felt like decades under the starry night.

Hey guys, Golden here and I just want to point out as always that some of the images I use I don`t own nor are they any of my relatives.

Secondly, I won`t be able to do the Changeling invasion chapter until after the next one is released, I want to get something out the way first before we jump into some more action.

Lastly, I want to let everyone know that there won`t be as much of the Mane 6 but they will be in separate chapters in the future ahead.
