A Shadow Within The Light

It's times like this that I wish that I could have friends that support me in every obstacle, but so far, I don't have any and I'm dealing with a mid-life crisis. My situation is that my family doesn't want to be around me and sees me as a loser. Especially my dad, when I had the courage to tell him that I, his 21 year old son, is a Brony. The results was not what I expected. He just stared at me and left without another word.

Right now, I'm in my room creating the pony version of me. I made sure that I get every last detail. My unicorn stallion me has pitch black coat with red mane with a white streak and long, well-groomed, white tail with a red streak. I know what you're all thinking, and I just thought I would make my character's hair color pattern different. Anyway, I also have a large slash across my left eye and have red eyes like a certain DJ pony I know. I also made my pony self wear a deep red color shirt with black stripes for class as a special feature. Also, I made him tall as Princess Luna. I know my character may seem evil, but trust me, he's a gentle giant.

"Well, I guess that'll do." I said to myself. "I wish I could really go to Equestria. I would make friends with everypony and I could help solve their problems."

Just as those word came right out of my mouth, a portal opened up next to me. At first, I thought I was hallucinating it being there, but it didn't matter at the time because my unlucky-self trip on my own footing and fell straight through. Soon, everything went from white as day to pitch black as I lose consciousness.
