Alolan Adventure
Previous Chapter"You've gotta be kidding me" Ember said with a blink. "You realize I can outrun you right?"
"What?!"
The Ninetales just literally started making him run around in circles, having no idea what Silenrea was up to but having fun making this grunt look like a fool.
The Latias is just floating there, still in thought, but finding amusement in the chase scene going on.
"You planning on wearing him out until he faints or something?" she calls out.
"If he's that dumb sure!" Ember giggled on the next pass, just literally running around a big rock and avoiding any feints with ease. Quite the good workout! At least until the guy gave up after a solid 11 minutes of chasing.
"Baaah. You're not worth it!" He yelled before doing the normal rapping-esqe walk all the grunts did and storming off.
"I'm surprised he can still do that stupid walk of his after running around so long." the Eon remarksd as she looks over at the Ninetales.
"Well now you have a new Pokemon. On to your trial?"
"I guess I should name her first!" Ember giggled as she released the pumpkaboo, who evidently didn't have a proper name yet.
"This is going to sound dopey as hell but since I can't think of a nickname proper..." Emberflame continued. "I'll call you Pumpkin."
The apparently super sized pumpkin she had caught just smiled and floated around trying to be spooky.
“Oh right the totem!” Ember said before scooting back inside the forest. Finding herself face to face with a moderate sized Gourgeist next to Mallow. Apparently this was the new totem spoken of.
“Good luck Emberflame!” Mallow said as the evolved pumpkin floated forward menacingly.
“Uh... Silen what should I do?” the Ninetales whined.
"I have no idea..." the Eon responds quietly. "Just don't let IT hit Pumpkin with ghost moves. That couldn't have been any worse an opponent. It has grass to beat your other two and ghost to beat your ghost..."
Pumpkin just floated into view in front of Ember with some sort of secret confidence to her. Whatever it was it had better be good cause that Gourgeist could probably tear the poor thing apart,
“Uh... Pumpkin use Astonish!” Emberflame said meekly, having no idea what to do in this horrid situation, but it was clear the Pumpkaboo had an ulterior plan in mind.
The Totem went first and smacked the poor thing with a shadow sneak, basically nearly destroying her in one hit, but what Pumpkin did sealed the deal. She used Destiny Bond.
The Gourgeist basically forced its own undoing, it had no status moves with which to stall with and it couldn’t waste a turn, one of the shortest totem battles ever seen had ended all because of the shenanigans of a ghost-type versus a bigger ghost-type. It’s evolution no less!
When the blow was delivered, the tiniest one possible at that, Pumpkin just fell over KOed and forced the Gourgeist down with it. Anti-climatic, but certainly saving Emberflame a helluva lot of trouble.
"Well that sucks...nobody gains experience from that. You'll have to go train them up later. But hey...you won.~" the Latias declares with a giggle.
Ember was just flabbergasted but picked up the pumpkaboo and gently returned her to her ball.
“Ey look at you two, breezing right through these totems aren’t you?” the familiar voice of the Professor called out, Kukui walking up from behind with his usual amount of jolliness.”
“Ah! Alola Professor Kukui” Captain Mallow called.
“Good to see you Mallow as well!” he replied curtly.
"I wouldn't entirely call it breezing, but sure." Silenrea states quietly, shifting her bag a little as she peers inside at the contents for a moment.
A familiar head would pop out to greet the eon, no doubt pleasing her greatly and warming her heart a bit.
“So my fine pokemon friends here, I’ve gotten a decent report of your exploits here and you two are quite something. Though don’t let me sewaddle too much on that!” Kukui began, making Ember groan at the horrible attempt at a pun there. “You’ve still got the Island Kahuna Olivia to deal with! As well as a certain little task I’ve found for you if you’re up for it, Silenrea. You’ll find the Kahuna down at Konikoni City to the south of Heahea City, whilst the task in mind is at the Hano Grand Resort.”
"Hmm...I suppose I'll find out about this task. I wouldn't want to keep anyone waiting." Silenrea then looks at Emberflame.
"I would say that you could go and take on the Kahuna, but I'd rather be there to watch you."
“I’m fine with waiting~” Ember giggled. “Let’s go see what the big fancy resort owner wants.”
“I do know of the task, but he’ll inform you on anything I don’t know about” the Professor commented with a wave. “Apparently a Pokémon is haunting the beach at night and making visitors and staff alike disappear, somehow this has gone on for a week straight now and nobody has done anything about it. I have a hunch on what it really is but for now all he’s informed me of is that it hides until night time before emerging and by the time morning arrives there’s not any trace of it being there.”
"Hmm...alright, so we'll go take care of that. I don't think it is something that would be wise to put off just because of our challenge." Silenrea nods as she looks at Emberflame again with a smile, then reaches with her paws to rub at the Bagon's head as they are comfortably inside her bag.
"I ain't afraid of no ghost." she declares, poking out her tongue a little.
“Excellent! Do let me know what it is if you find out, perhaps its a rare pokemon!” Kukui said heartily.
After that little celebration was over, including watching both the water and FIRE captains run off from the apparently spicy dish Mallow had made, the group then travelled to the Hano Grand Resort and dealt with the usual throwing of balls, only this time there were luxury and ultras amongst them, with sightseers both mesmerized or horrified at the sight of the group passing through. Aegis at least was enjoying all the attention.
When the owner of the Resort was met, he seemed mortified at first, but after being calmed down and having the situation explained to him, he relented to allow Silenrea the full disclosure.
“Alright, here’s my problem. The beach is -HAUNTED-, this big scary blob of a thing lurks out there at night and makes people disappear! No pokemon trainer I’ve hired so far can even find a TRACE of the thing. So I need a capable, I guess Pokémon in this case, Trainer to get out there and comb that beach until the ‘Ghost’ is found and then REMOVE IT! I don’t care how, just make sure it never comes back! My reviews are already plummeting!” he would almost sob.
"Alright, I think I know who can help me find out the problem." Silenrea nods to Emberflame before making her way out towards the beach. Once there, she lets out a few Pokemon. Audra, Nikita...and surprisingly her Milotic whom she named Marina.
"So you three heard all that, right?" she asks, which gets a nod from Nikita and Audra right away. And it is the Flygon that speaks up first.
"Sand is my domain, I might be able to help work out what seems out of place. If nothing else, I'm sure I can take it on."
The Eon sighs a little.
"Overconfidence kills...though with Violet, even if she went all out she was doomed..." she then shakes her head and looks at Marina.
"You are attuned with water, the other half of what makes up a beach. Anything seem out of the ordinary for you, Marina? I could use all the help I can get with this. I mean I could find it possibly but psychic energy is not the most ideal to locate ghosts...depending on what kind."
“There is nothing in the water that is out of place to me, except uneaten swimmers and water-types” the Milotic replied calmly.
"Tell you what, if you leave the swimmers alone so we don't upset anyone...you can go hunt some water Pokemon while we track down the ghost. I'll call you if we need your aid, if you feel up to helping." the Eon says with a bit of a grin, finding the whole 'uneaten' declaration to be amusing.
The Milotic seemed to be on board without even saying it, just slithering off to do her thing.
“I don’t like the beach here” Emberflame said as she came out. “Something is giving me the chills.”
Audra looks down at the sand and is quiet before she flies about and lands periodically. Then lightly taps with a paw over the sand before she suddenly slams down and creates an earthquake that manages to actually penetrate through the sand, but not too far. Making it be as close to where she is sure it to be located as possible.
The beachgoers didn’t look entirely pleased with that sudden earthquake, but when the ground began to shake violently they became far more concerned.
“Audra I think you upset something” Emberflame commented.
“Something big” Rotom added.
"Audra, get back over here!" Silenrea calls out as the dragon type rushes back to her Trainer's side. The Eon just waits and tries to determine what her game plan is for this, more or less.
About a few seconds later something quite literally EXPLODED out of the ground, sending sand everywhere as what looked like a giant black sand castle with a shovel rotating in its head angrily decided to explode up from its shelter underneath the beach.
“Well you found the ghost in question!” Rotom exclaimed. “That is a Palossand, a very angry and SHINY one at that! Its not overly dangerous in battle but it can take quite a beating. Ghost/Ground type if you care, I would not recommend going near its mouth unless you want your life force drained and all that.”
To make matters seemingly worse, it seemed to have its own totem aura, boosting its defenses quite a bit as the sightseers and swimmers alike looked at the creature Audra had quite badly pissed off. It didn’t even hesitate to attack, flinging a Shadow Ball at the Flygon despite its low speed.
Audra simply flies forward and takes the attack, but then rushes in close.
"Crunch!" at which point the Flygon would end up biting, and despite it being a Pokemon of sand...none of it gets in her mouth and it actually harms it due to being coated with dark energy. At which point the Eon calls out a follow-up attack.
"Again, Audra! Don't let up!" the Flygon crunching on it after flying around to bite from another vantage point...but staying airborne to avoid it.
The giant sand castle of doom responded with a giga drain, taking some of Audra’s life with it, even if not that much. The fact it had remained standing this long was at least proof of how amazingly bulky it was, despite being made of FUCKING SAND!
Silenrea, not wanting to let it heal any further off of Audra's health, throws a Pokeball at the opponent and it gets pulled inside. And now it all comes down to whether it was enough to keep it in.
The pokeball, despite its terrible catch rate, indeed caught the terror of the beach. The beach itself was pretty screwed the hell up but at least the owner saw the whole thing, calculating the damages in his mind and wondering if this was worth it.
Then he remembered he needed to pay the ghostbuster now.
“Look okay, is there anything you could possibly need in any short span of time?” the owner asked with a horrified look at after running over to the eon. “Anything within reason and cost, as long as that THING does not come back!”
“IT’S CALLED A PALOSSAND YOU NINCOMPOOP, ITS PRE-EVOLUTIONS LURK ON THE BEACH ANYWAY!” Rotom snarked. “Also it’ll cost you a boat.”
“Sold” was the owner’s response, literally handing the Eon keys to a decently speedy boat apparently kept nearby. “Just LEAVE with it and DO NOT BRING IT BACK!”
"I didn't even get to choose. I was hoping for a nice meal..." the Latias whines softly under her breath. She then looks at Nikita and Audra. "Try and fix up the beach and fill the hole it caused. Balance out the beach a bit more." the two nodding as they do so. Putting away the Pokeball, the Eon would look out over the water to try and locate Marina...to check if she's ready to come back with a satisfactory amount to eat.
The Milotic in question was just lounging around on a rock after having clearly gorging on a good deal of water-types, she didn't seem at all willing to move, on the Brightside that meant she wouldn’t go after anything either.
Silenrea would float over and speak softly. "Want to relax in your Pokeball with your meal? I don't want to leave you behind and I think the fact I caught that thing has the owner nervous so we should go...I was HOPING to have access to a lot of food and able to rest here whenever we want but a certain Pokedex said we wanted a boat..."
The Milotic just nodded and went back to relaxing, burping after in contentment.
The Latias giggles and cannot help but gently rub Marina's head with a paw before recalling her to the Pokeball, then meets back up with Emberflame and the others. Audra and Nikita soon finishing and going back to their Pokeballs also.
"So now we take on the Kahuna."
“Oh right before I forget” Emberflame said before procuring three z-crystals of the starter’s elements. “The Captains gave me these before we left. I almost forgot to give them to you!”
"Oh, thank you. I thought we were going to have to tell the Kahuna again." the Eon snickers as she puts them away. And then starts to decide on who will hold them in order to use the moves. She knows that Marina is definitely getting the water one.
Then began a great journey to Konikoni City, which involved going through a cave of FUCKING DIGLETTS! Repels were used by the dozens to make sure the apparently Alolan Digletts whom had hair and such didn’t pop up to say hi and then spam earthquake till everybody died. Oh and every trainer inside got fought and some black belt with a fightium Z got thrown through the cave walls, but who gives a shit about that right?
Once they got there, they were informed that the Kahuna both lived in and managed a rock-esqe shop or something like that. Basically they sold evolutionary stones and fossils, apparently. But she wasn’t there either! According to the probopass there and the assistant in charge of the place, she had gone to the ruins of life for some task, which meant more running around and beating up people for their money! WOO!
“So Silen what’s the trainer count now?” Emberflame asked as they walked out of the store and found more pokeballs being tossed at them.
"I lost count..." the Latias replies quietly as she looks in her bag for a moment. "I'm unsure who to use for the Kahuna battle. Could use Nikita, Audra or maybe even the new Pokemon. Since it's clear she is all about rock types. You'll be fine with your starter alone." Sil states with a grin. "Let's go find her.~"
“What’d you even name the castle anyway?” Emberflame asked as they walked.
"I called him Dosne, it seemed fitting...oddly enough. But anyway, what is your plan for the Kahuna? You have two able to take their rock types on." the Latias gets out Audra's Pokeball, thinking perhaps she'll lead with her.
The Ninetales just motions to the Brionne laying on her back. “He’s been excited ever since I broke it to him.”
“Bring it on! Bring on yonder rocks! I’ll take em all on I will!” the apparently now Scottish Aegis commanded.
"I cannot help but enjoy his enthusiasm.~" Silenrea says with a warm smile, stretching a little bit as they go.
Some shenanigans, a few beat-up trainers, and Aegis’ enthusiasm being shown every few seconds later. The group had arrived close to the Ruins of Life, only to be stopped by a strange voice, one that even Silenrea didn’t recognize.
“That’s far enough” a feminine voice would call out. A turn around would reveal a few team skull grunts, along with someone in a questionably even more ridiculous get-up, their hair heavily dyed with yellow and pink and having their own uniform. Still clearly team skull, but arceus the fashion on her was indescribable.
“Who are you?” Emberflame would ask.
“I am Plumeria, the one and only Admin of Team Skull, second only to the boss himself. I had heard a group of pokemon were running around and beating up my grunts, but here we are staring each other down in the flesh. Certainly not the terrors I’ve been told of” the girl responded. “But regardless of what you are, I’ve come to settle the score, I’m not letting you two beat up on these grunts any longer.”
Silenrea looks the individual over silently before looking at Emberflame.
"Eh...you can handle this. Your team can use the extra experience more.~"
“That was the plan~” Ember said with a smile.
“You’d better be scared! Big Sis Plume is gonna beat ya real hard!” one of the grunts jeered.
“Yeah! Get em boss!”
“That’s enough” the Admin commanded as she eyed Emberflame. “Very well, let’s do this!”
The Admin was remarkably sharp with her throw, releasing the bane of any cave explorer in the form of a Golbat, flying menacingly in the air as it awaited its target.
To Silenrea’s surprise, Emberflame did something unexpected, she brought herself up off the ground and assumed a biped position. The Eon knowing that not only was this a rarity for the Ninetales despite her proficiency at standing and defying gravity in such, but also that it meant she was actually getting pretty serious. Which considering her opponent was even more baffling.
“I’ll give you the honor of fighting me when I feel like actually not goofing off. Try and keep up sister~” Ember cooed. “Talion! Let ‘em have it!”
The Lycanroc when released just let out a savage howl and smirked at its opponent, knowing this was going to prove fun.
“Hmph” Plumeria responded. “Golbat! Use poison fang!”
The golbat zoomed down, outspeeding Talion who was preparing a hefty rock for smashing its ugly face in with, biting deep into his rocky form before getting said rock beat onto its head. Surprisingly its skull was thick to take the blow as it disengaged, however it had accomplished one thing. Badly Poisoning the Lycanroc.
“Bite!” the Admin commanded.
“You little shit...” Talion muttered before taking the fangs once again, but did not flinch, instead angrily smashing it into a rock with his face. It did not outlast that one.
After the Golbat was returned, Plumeria sent out a pokemon neither of the mons had seen before. It was blue, spiky, ugly as sin, and did not look friendly.
“That’s a Mareanie. They’re as ugly as you can imagine and they are incredibly hard to take down. Just wait till it evolves! It turns into the spikiest flesh bunker you’ll ever see!” Rotom commented. “Oh right its Water/Poison.”
“I can take it on! Bring it!” Talion growled.
It was made very apparent the Mareanie or whatever it was called was not very fast, but then it used a clearly TM-taught move, Scald. Despite Talion’s defenses being pretty decent, the Scald KOed him instantly, at which Rotom chimed in once more.
“This one has its signature ability, Merciless! It will always strike a critical hit on a poisoned pokemon! Guess what these things do a lot?”
“Thanks for that NOW” Emberflame huffed before returning Talion and sending out Pumpkin. “Razor Leaf!”
The leaves despite not doing super-effective damage certainly the creature hard, prompting Plumeria to say words that left a bitter taste in Silenrea’s mouth.
“Recover!”
It was going to be one of those days. Soon a hard fought loop of Razor Leaves versus bulk with recover began, but due to the large power point difference, Pumpkin eventually came it in a harshly weakened state and under more poison despite multiple antidotes from her trainer.
Then out came the Salandit, thankfully not its evolution but still unsettling nonetheless. Pumpkin was instantly returned in favor of Aegis, whom bolted forward and tore into it with bubblebeams and aqua jets, not letting it get more than a couple hits before going down.
“You’re better than you look” Plumeria said as the grunts looked on in dismay. “Next time I won’t go so easy on you, let’s go!”
The grunts left in a hurry as the admin herself walked off, not exactly furious, but more calculating. This would definitely not be the last time they saw her.
“Jeeze... stronger than she looks I’ll give her that. Certainly a lot tougher than those she leads” the Ninetales said as she looked at the pokeball containing the KOed Lycanroc.
"We can't get to a Pokemon Center without having to go all the way back. Let him back out..." Silenrea states quietly as an instruction.
The Ninetales did as commanded, along with Pumpkin, before getting back down on all fours as normal, holding the pokeballs in her tails.
The Latias would float over him before focusing and starting to exhude a fair amount of energy to heal them and recover Talion completely.
"If I tried to do this with my Pokemon, I'd exhaust myself rapidly. They have too much energy to restore. Meadow tends to help a bit with her milk as well..."
It was clear when Talion was all fixed up, he jumped up and demanded to know where that “Arceusdamned chew toy of a water-type” was hiding. When the situation was explained to him he took it badly but held himself together.
Then the Island Kahuna showed up, clapping her hands and saying she had witnessed the battle and would be more than happy to take them both on, with Silenrea getting to pick who’d go first.
"Let them have a bit more time to rest up. Physically they are fine, but probably a bit mentally fatigued. Don't want to force them right into another fight." Silenrea would then telepathically communicate with a few of her Pokemon. Namely Marina, Audra and Nikita...asking if any of them want to battle.
Emberflame would nod and sit on the sidelines first, watching as Olivia stepped forward with a smile.
“My Pokémon are both adorable and rugged Silenrea! Let’s see if you can break through our defenses!” Olivia called before quite literally summoning her Probopass, the rock/steel type hovering over the cliffs nearby with Magnet Rise and descending in front of her.
Silenrea is quiet for a few moments before grinning as she sends out Nikita, the Nidoqueen standing there and stretching a bit.
"Alright, I get to face off against a Kahuna this time." she says in Pokespeak, causing the Eon to giggle.
"Start things off with Toxic Spikes...twice."
Nikita grins as she hits the ground with one fist, and many toxic spikes tipped with poison come out of the ground near the opponents area, then she hits the ground after with her other fist and even more show up.
“Probopass! Use Earth Power!” was Olivia’s first command, the rock/steel type forcing the ground to burst up underneath the Nidoqueen, scoring a super-effective hit in the process.
"Use Brick Break!" Silenrea calls out as Nikita recovers from the hit, then rushes forward and delivers a relatively strong physical strike. If by relatively you mean quad weakness.
“This isn’t good” Olivia muttered before nodding to herself. “Probopass! Use Explosion!”
Considering the Nidoqueen had just finished its move, there wasn’t much way to stop a suicidal charge from the Probopass getting to the center of the arena and violently exploding to deal as much damage as possible. Too bad they didn’t have normal gems in Alola.
Nikita manages to hold on despite being hit by an explosion, but this causes Silenrea to immediately switch her out with Audra.
The Probopass was returned and a Carbink was sent out in its place, already the bulkiness was getting a bit too iffy.
“Carbink! Use Reflect!” Olivia commanded, though it’d be a slow set-up given Carbink’s... debatably or should I say completely trash speed.
Audra is quick to react, unleashing an Earthquake to at least do a large hit on the Carbink before the Reflect comes into effect.
It was at that point when Silenrea’s first problem came into her path. Not only was there a reflect up, but Olivia used a FULL RESTORE the infamous healing item spammed by the Elite Four of every region along with anyone past them. There was no idea how many she had, but given she had them it was safe to assume this was going to suck some.
"Audra? We're not swapping out. You have to win this..." the Eon states quietly, causing the Flygon to glance back at her and giving a single nod before she makes her next move. What bothers Silenrea, however, is that this evidence of Full Restore means that the planning with Toxic Spikes has become completely useless and it just frustrates her since she could have just done strong hits and took everything as it came.
"Earth Power." is the command given.
“Stealth Rocks!” Olivia commanded, the Carbink releasing levitating and floating stones to pelt switch-ins with.
Afterwards another Earth Power would finish the bulk crystal of 'doom' off.
The next pokemon to come out was the second strongest eyebrow/moustache combo in the known Pokémon Universe, Alolan Golem. Second only to Probopass in pure mustache.
“I’m pretty sure it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what this is after I told you how Alolan Graveller was!” Rotom snickered from nearby.
Audra looks at the foe and immediately knows what Silenrea is about to say, since there really aren't a lot of options with Reflect still active.
She focuses and the earth beneath the Golem ruptures to deliver a deadly Earth Power, and the Golem is saved only thanks to an ability to hold on with a small amount of health. But with those Toxic Spikes still scattered about, it is only getting one attack in.
The Golem then used that upwards momentum to augment a command of heavy slam and dropping downward like a meteor, except not as cool, not as heavy, and not nearly as powerful. It didn’t even help the damage, it just looked 2% cooler as it basically dropped right onto the Flygon for neutral damage, then rolled off, then died to toxic damage. Goddamnit.
Then out came her final pokemon, Lycanroc. Which could prove a problem giving that the latest Z-Crystal was quite clearly on it, even if it wasn’t very effective the damage was still scary.
"Audra, Mud Slap." Silenrea states, planning for after what she is certain is coming. The Flygon turning around and swinging her tail as it would launch a solid chunk of mud at the Lycanroc's face.
The Lycanroc didn’t look amused, but then the order came out, alongside the usual flurry of silly movements.
“Lycanroc! Continental Crush!” Olivia bellowed, the usual razzle dazzle of the z-crystal activating going off before the Eon was treated to a unique sight.
The rock-type flew into the air and literally seemed to tear sections of the nearby mountains and the ground off, forming a massive dome-shaped rock that floated its way over the Flygon, before crashing down with absolute full force. One wonders how the hell anything could survive that but this was Pokémon so who cares. Also ignore the fact all this landmass disappears and everything is back to normal after.
Audra took heavy damage, despite resisting half of the attack. If she wasn't a ground type she would not still be standing, even at full health.
Silenrea narrows her eyes for a moment, then says softly.
"Earth Power..." and that would be the end of the fight.
Olivia just nodded as she returned the Lycanroc before instantly facing Emberflame.
“Well? Come on then may as well knock two battles out with one stone. Hmm?”
“But what about” Ember began.
“I’ll stamp you both once this is over” the Kahuna said, displaying some foresight as to how she felt this would end.
“Silen, you think the team is ready now?” the Ninetales would ask.
"Are you going to always ask that? Why not have some faith in your Pokemon and try? What's the worst that can happen? Lose and need to go train a bit more and come back?" Silenrea asks with a giggle, being playful and rubbing the top of Emberflame's head. "You'll do fine."
The battle would begin basically in earnest, with the Kahuna sending out a Nosepass and Aegis basically throwing himself into the fray.
The Nosepass began by paralyzing Aegis with Thunder Wave, then got knocked down to sturdy by a bubblebeam, then it fell over after an aqua jet. It became quickly apparently that Aegis MIGHT be a bit overpowered for this. Just maybe.
Then out came a more formidable rock-type. BOLDORE! The pun rock-type using rock blast on Aegis... and even with all five hits connecting the Brionne didn’t seem all that fazed, paralysis struck though. Which prompted Ember to waste a turn healing that off while the Boldore missed her with the next rock blast, almost smacking Silenrea with it instead due to terrible aim, not that it’d matter given just how vast the level difference between them was.
Then Aegis ran the Boldore over with the same thing that killed his predecessor. And certainly one could guess what the last pokemon was? Lycanroc naturally, but not even the midday form! Nope. Apparently Olivia carried two of the midnight form with her... oddly.
It had its Rockium Z prepared and dropped the same mountain that Audra had taken onto the poor Brionne, KOing the poor thing instantly.
Then Pumpkin came out, did grass-type shenanigans, a few turns later the pup fell over and it was all said and done.
Afterwards the latest Z-Crystal was earned, two stamps were given, and the group was now on their way to the boat that Rotom had gotten for them.
“See! Now we don’t have to rely on a water-type!” Rotom said approvingly when they got there.
"Yeah, but..." Silenrea ends up reflecting back to how Cordelia loved to ferry others around and delighted in putting the Latias inside while doing so.
"I guess..." she then gets Marina's Pokeball and tosses it to let her out. "Want to swim alongside the boat and maybe collect a few snacks on the way? I know you're a powerful swimmer, I saw you hunting on the beach."
“Sure” was the Milotic’s simple response.
“I call being Captain!” Rotom giggled robotically.
“Heeeeelllllllll naaaw” Talion said as he popped out of his pokeball. “I’m gonna be captain if anyone. We’ll go on a great pirate journey, sail the many seas, and get plunder and snacks from every swimmer we see!”
“I like that idea” Marina snickered.
"You know that sounds more like Marina would make the best captain...all things considered." the Eon says with a grin, patting the Milotic lightly with a purr before floating above. "You all have fun on the boat, I'm just going to float alongside."
And thus they were off, sailing on the ‘high’ seas as Talion took position at the front of the boat, marauding magikarp, tentacool, frillish, and swimmers alike until what could only be called a sciencey-looking island of mechanicalness was sighted. Despite the immense size difference between it and the boat they had, the Lycanroc was adamant they board it and take their booty. Literally and non-literally.
“Talion are you MAD?!” Ember demanded.
“No, but I will be if we don’t get going in that direction!” the Lycanroc said as he waved a lanky paw.
It was about this point that Silenrea would pick up an immense disturbance in the air, something was not right and it reeked of danger.
The Eon immediately looks around to try and locate the source.
"All of you be quiet, there's something wrong..."
“Yeah there is something wrong! YOU STOPPED THE BOAT!” Talion huffed aloud.
“Now is not the time Talion... I feel it too” Emberflame said, before the other pokemon and even Rotom could just feel their skin/circuits crawl.
“I don’t like this...” Rotom said quietly.
“Do you have any idea of what this is Silenrea?” Talion asked as he forced himself to the ground. “It’s an immense pressure on me to be so close!”
"I've never experienced it before, so I can't really say..." the Eon replies quietly, narrowing down the source.
It was at that point that something that could only be called a combination of ‘WRONG’ and a wormhole that looked almost digital in appearance appeared over the island. A solitary creature emerging from it, it was miniscule at this distance but it seemed to be approaching fast!
“Uh... SILEN WE HAVE A PROBLEM!” Ember cried out, the... whatever it was smashing itself into the boat and basically leaving a hole in it. So much for Rotom’s thought of a good reward for removing a ghost.
Whatever it was, it was no natural pokemon anyone had ever seen before. Activity on the island itself seemed to spike significantly as well, the thing’s presence alone felt unholy and emitted a pressure not unlike that of a legendary pokemon. But it certainly did not appear like one. It was more of a star-patterned jellyfish typie thing that also looked partially like a helmet with a spine. Try wrapping your head around that one.
Then it started attacking instantly, using acid and tearing MORE holes into the boat when dodged.
Silenrea is quick to react and gets out one of her Pokeballs, thowing it as it reveals a familiar Pokemon whom flies through the air.
"Huo, Dragon Rage!"
The creature responded in kind with a venoshock, barely able to scratch the Charizard. Either it was incredibly weak or something was heavily dampening its power, especially considering the number it did on the boat.
Huo would notice this and simply unleashes another Dragon Rage to weaken the foe quite substantially.
"Awesome work, Huo!" the Latias calls out happily.
At this point the creature was quite weakened, enough to where Emberflame had an incredibly ballzy, despite being female, idea.
“Let me try this!” Ember called before pulling a pokeball... basically out of fucking nowhere and hurled it at the creature, surprise surprise, it worked. Pulling it inside and letting the pokeball hit the ocean water as it attempted to hold the thing inside, this not only failed on the first attempt, but the pokeball EXPLODED apart.
However this proved two things. One, this was indeed a pokemon of sorts; and two, it can be captured.
“DON’T TELL ME YOU’RE TRYING TO CAPTURE THAT THING!” Rotom exclaimed. “THAT COULD FRY MY CIRCUITS TRYING TO IDENTIFY IT!”
Silenrea doesn't seem all that happy that Emberflame attempted to capture what she and Huo weakened, but she decides to just try and hurls her own Pokeball at it. The ball would land and shake a few times and then...stops.
"Then don't identify it, Rotom...can just keep it a mystery."
“I’m half tempted to try.- Whatever you’ve stumbled upon, even the Professor doesn’t want me peeking. The only thing I can literally tell you is this thing is part of a group called ‘Ultra Beasts’” Rotom said with a blink. “Yeah that info is pretty locked up. So good on you! You’ve probably just pissed off a number of people for... that. Seems like a pretty fair trade given it just destroyed our pride and joy.”
The Milotic would sigh a bit before rescuing the currently drowning Lycanroc and giving everybody a semi-stable squish platform to hold onto as the island above teemed with activity. Apparently more of those things were running around. FUN! Now the question is how are they going to get away from this mad house in any decent amount of time.
Once everything is sorted, Silenrea would rub Marina's head gently.
"Thanks. I'm sorry to ask it of you but can you take us the rest of the way? I'll make it up to you..."
“Sure” was the simple response from the Milotic.
Some travels, good jokes and bad jokes alike, and a semi-annoyed Milotic later and the ‘crew’ would get dropped off at an island. Marina citing she needs a break and is going to go hunt down some water-types to happily gurgle, leaving before anyone could stop her.
At that point, now that they were on a pretty deserted and small island with a few berry trees, Talion decided to tease Emberflame some, simply because he could.
“So sweetheart, why are you always so OPPOSED to us eating peoples and pokemons? Got something against a big appetite? Or just can’t stomach them yourself? Hmmmmmm?~” he goaded.
"Well even I am not too keen on the whole gurgle thing. But with Marina it's just..." Silenrea glances over in the direction the Milotic was last seen. "She's big, she's hungry...and while I might be safe from her appetite, I don't know who she could take anger out on. So I just don't stop her and try to keep her happy."
“Well. Whose fault is it for catching her in the first place?” Talion snickered.
“Ya know I’m pretty voracious myself you butt” Ember cooed. “I can even hold Silen with ease.~”
“You? Hold ANYTHING? A caterpie maybe but Silenrea? BAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA” the Lycanroc laughed, deliberately putting himself out of breath with the last laugh for effect.
“You tell him Silen” the Ninetales huffed.
"Emberflame is actually quite serious." the Eon says, stretching a little bit. Backing the Ninetales on this.
“I’ll believe that when I see it” Talion commented with a grin. “Actually, we’ve got time, show me.~”
“Why should I? It’s been a while” Emberflame retorted with a mild blush.
“All the more reason to put that Eon where she belongs.~”
"Hey, I object to being told it is where I belong..." the Latias huffs.
“And would you complain?~” Talion asked with a wide grin.
“Hmph. I could even fit her well... deeper than most would care to” The fox would pout some.
“Ooohhhhh? Prove it~”
Ember would just look at Silenrea to see if she was up for it.
The Latias is quiet before she would let out Huo, Nikita, Audra and Meadow. Telling the four to go relax until it is time to head out. Informing Huo and Audra they'll need to potentially carry the other two.
She then looks back at the Ninetales and shrugs somewhat.
"Up to you..."
“I’m game, move over Talion” Emberflame said as she walked over to the Eon with a bit of a smile, pulling the Latias close before getting down onto the ground and exposing herself fully. In that totally lewd sense you weirdos, I see you there, getting ready to violently masturbate. I’ll break the fourth wall, I will. It won’t make a difference but I’ma just address the fact that you are in this just as deep as me buddy. And I’m the goddamn narrator.
Anyways.
The netherlips would open right up for the Eon, if she felt the need to poke her head close on her own.
Silenrea, deciding to at least help get this over with as soon as possible for Emberflame's sake, nuzzles at that spot, ensuring her head is in position to be pushed inside. The sooner it is over with, the sooner the Ninetales proves her point and doesn't have to worry about others around or anything.
The Eon would then be dipped inside slowly with the Ninetales paws, just slipping her gently inside whilst everyone whom she could trust watched with anticipation. She certainly wasn’t new to this procedure at least, expertly and gently sliding Silenrea inside the organ and already getting her head to poke itself into the womb, where naught but softness and blissful comfort awaited... and every pregnant joke imaginable.
Within the span of a few long and moan/blush filled minutes, the Eon was taken fully inside the orifice. The netherlips closing right behind her with a bit of a schlorp as the Ninetales nether regions bulged out comfortably but widely. Ember would just wriggle in place a bit, getting the Eon fully squished and tucked inside before daring to rise, rubbing over the area with extreme gentleness.
“Ahhhhh...~ That feels amazing” the Ninetales murred aloud. “I haven’t felt this nice in... quite a long time.~”
Silenrea shifts a little within, her bag now being carried by Nikita. She seems to think it looks good on her.
Audra, meanwhile, makes her way over to ask the only question on her mind that seems important to her.
"So how long until we get our Trainer back?"
“Well, I’d say let’s get past the next human city or so and then I’ll release her” Ember said quietly. “Human’s generally don’t mess with anyone looking like I do, that being incredibly pregnant.”
“It’d be rude if nothing else!” Rotom chimed. “Even if this isn’t actual pregnancy and its just weirdos being weirdos.”
Huo lands nearby and stretches her wings a little before she speaks her mind also.
"Silenrea won't be complaining, she won't have Pokeballs hurled at her for a while."
“And hey look on the best side of it, you all get a walk while she’s here” Ember giggled contently, her blush still bright.
“Well at least I know my trainer isn’t a total wuss” Talion shrugged.
Meadow sits next to Emberflame and reclines back as she looks at the sky.
"Silenrea usually lets us out a lot, but ever since we got here and she learned about the dangers...maybe she just wanted to protect us. I think the reason she has us out at the moment is to ensure YOU are protected, Emberflame." the Miltank turns her head to look at the Ninetales and smiles.
“That’s certainly a lovely way to look at it” the Ninetales said with a nod, giving the Miltank a bit of a fond hug. “I’m certainly happy to try this again... It’s been quite a long time, not to say I’d like it often, but you know what I mean.”
Meadow giggles and returns the embrace, sitting up as she does.
"Yeah, you got so focused on the island challenge you never cut loose to do that. No doubt because, well...where exactly would you do it?"
Nikita turns around a bit while enjoying wearing the bag before she looks over at the two and grins.
"Too many humans around watching. Can't say you're the Trainer and then start stuffing others inside in public. It'd turn far too many heads."
“Just eat the humans~” Ember snickered. “I mean. Pardon me?”
Huo snickers and looks over at the water.
"Think Marina has had her fill?"
“Naaaah... Woops there goes a swimmer. Ah well” Ember shrugged. “Ya know we’ve never had a real chance to talk much before now, why don’t we give that a go?”
"We'll run out of things to discuss sooner or later, there isn't a whole lot to talk about unless you have questions." Audra states flatly. She then sits down also, looking at Huo and Nikita, as this then causes them to do the same.
“Well we could discuss the adventure so far” Ember said with a blink. “Minus team members getting murdered, I think there’s been enough of that already.”
They all just end up quiet at that, looking away or down. Nikita then speaks up.
"Uhh...not sure what to talk about. I mean we've pushed through so far."
“Well look at the craziness we’ve been through, especially a few hours ago” the Ninetales pointed out, cause who could forget meeting an unholy jellyfish of doom and all that from a digitalized wormh- whaddaya mean it has a name we can’t discuss yet. Oh fine bugger off. “Speaking of which does ANYONE have an idea of how to communicate with... ‘it’?”
"Silenrea probably could, but she's inside of you. Someone communicating through mental images and such things would likely be up her alley. Either that or we let it out, hope it doesn't go berserk again and we all try." Huo states dryly, lightly tapping the ground with her tail before she rests on her side.
“I’m wondering if Silen’s brain would get warped trying. I mean you saw where it came from, that was not anything normal, even by OUR standards” the fox stated quietly. “As for letting it out... I’m mortified of the idea, that thing may have gone down easily but it certainly tore the boat a new one.”
Meadow decides to pitch a thought, rubbing Emberflame's belly while doing so.
"Perhaps it will learn to communicate while around other Pokemon. It is new to this world, but Ultra Beasts have shown up before...right? Maybe it needs time..."
The Ninetales would let out a little yip in surprise but enjoyed the belly rubs nonetheless, nodding with Meadow’s thought. “Perhaps... but we also need to keep it from going berserk in the meantime. The last thing we need is that thing getting free and causing havoc.”
"Leave that to Silenrea when she is out. She cannot capture Pokemon that she battles herself unless they challenge her directly...but she can use her powers to protect or control rowdy Pokemon." Audra points out, which causes a snicker to come from Nikita.
"Thinking about that Tyrantrum of hers, Audra?"
“Uh... Dare I ask?” the Ninetales questioned. “I don’t remember Silen having a Tyrantrum.”
"That's because she didn't bring them along. They're...impossible to work with. And rampaged too often." the Nidoqueen answers, since she already stole the floor for conversation from Audra, may as well answer.
“Sounds like fun” Ember replied dryly.
“With Silenrea involved one can only imagine how it must be in bed” Rotom snarked. “Must have a penis the size of her!”
“Oh good now you’re catching onto that train” the Ninetales said quietly.
“Ey what can I say, exposure to the insane makes others insane, may as well snark about it while I’m here!”
The Charizard turns her head towards the Rotom and speaks.
"Assuming it to be a male, hmm? Well lucky for you...they are a male. But he is too busy going around breaking things and eating others to whip out his penis..."
“If there’s a party of basically all females here the males must be somewhere? No? Detective Rotom Holmes is always quick to deduce the answer” the pokedex stated jubilantly.
“That is awful” Emberflame groaned.
"Most of the males just wanted to relax in a storage box, you know...one of those virtual worlds they can be put into. So we were the ones that were eager to come on a new adventure with Silenrea." Meadow stretches a little and lightly rubs her udder before looking back at Emberflame.
“That’s their problem, I’d say this is a pretty thrilling adventure minus the occasional death or two” Rotom buzzed.
“Seems like Marina’s coming back, everybody ready?” Ember pointed out.
Huo would get up and lets Nikita on her back, while Audra takes a firm hold of Meadow as they all lift into the air.
"We're ready. We don't plan on burdening the Milotic with our weight, she has enough to transport since your Pokemon don't seem to ever return to their balls where it is more safe and lightweight."
“I mean... Pumpkin does fine. It’s just” Ember began before getting cut off by Talion.
“If we’re not around directly then what do you expect me to do? Laze around in a pokeball and wait to MAYBE get used someday? Tch” the Lycanroc growled. “I came with her happily to become strong and so far my methods of doing so are working pretty well I’d say.”
“Speaking of which how’d it feel getting beaned by your own rock?” Rotom chortled.
“I don’t know, you tell me!” Talion barked before hurling a rock at the pokedex, it being swiftly dodged of course, but Rotom shut up at that point for his own sake.
“Come on Talion. Stop being a butt and let’s go~” Aegis cooed before flopping into the water, Marina ‘docking’ herself nearby to allow the others onto her, before then 'setting sail' towards Malie City and the third Island in general.
About evening time the party would make it over to the third island proper. It must have been quite the sight to see the group coming, especially without an obvious trainer on board. Which made it all the more tantalizing for ace trainers, rising stars, and all sorts of others to make their way to the docks to try and catch this amazing group.
Of course Rotom then went ahead and thoroughly scolded them for daring to even think of catching any of the group, especially Emberflame who was pregnant! Albiet with Silenrea held inside the womb but that was naturally left out. It turned into one of those moments where nobody knew what to do except quietly walk away with their dignity still possibly intact whilst pretending they were never here in the first place.
Naturally Ember was just rubbing her nethers over peacefully while this went on, getting Marina returned to her ball afterwards with Nikita’s help so she wouldn’t have to meet them somewhere. With the group then just journeying across the city and into the latest route, where in some nice shaded cover under the moonlight Silenrea was released back into the world proper... covered in all sorts of fluids, some of which were best left unmentioned. Thankfully she just cleaned herself off with psychic powah and all was well.
“Alright... Now that that’s over” Ember said quietly with her blush still lingering a bit. “Any idea of where the fifth trial is?”
"Nope, I don't have a clue..." the Eon responds, recalling everyone to their Pokeballs to let them rest so they will be ready for battle at peak performance.
"We'll likely need to look around for clues, though I will say that usually we find the professor, he seems to always be at the docks waiting. But this time he wasn't..."
Thus the clue searching began, with detective Rotom Holmes getting bapped when he tried to say he’d be on the case. Their search led them into a few easy fights with random trainers and ended when they found two Team Skull Grunts attempting to take a Bus Stop. Literally the entire sign.
“Are you both stupid or just dense?” was Ember’s first remark, getting their attention.
“This bus stop is now the property of Team Skull! We’ll take it purely so no one else can use it!” the first grunt commanded.
“Yeah! While the boss is out meeting with Kukui in Malie Gardens!”
“Shut it you numbskull! We’re supposed to be denying entry to the Observatory!”
“Wait your boss? Plumeria?!” was the first thought that came to the Ninetales mind. “Silen we need to go! As for you dolts... if you’re here when I get back I’m feeding you to my Lycanroc.”
The group was off like chain lightning at that point, dashing back towards the city underneath the star light in order to get to Kukui before anything bad could happen. The way to Malie Garden was thankfully clear enough, but the sight they’d see when they get there was... a thing.
Kukui was indeed there, with a man best described as a perfect mix between gangster, possibly criminally insane, and in some new form of fashion that nobody else would dare touch. Alongside him were about a dozen Team Skull Grunts and oddly no sign of Plumeria.
“... We don’t need a Pokémon League here Kukui. Everyone knows the strongest trainer in the islands is me!”
“Are you truly sure about that? Then let me ask, do you think you could beat a pokemon on our terms? A Pokémon with the intelligence to be able to use pokemon like we do?”
“Eh? I don’t know what you’re going on about but”
“Emberflame, Silenrea, excellent timing!” Kukui said as he turned to face the group. “I’d like some help here, if you don’t mind me asking.”
“What the hell is this about?!” the man demanded, his grin twisting into an annoyed frown.
“These two are Emberflame and Silenrea. Both Pokémon ‘Pokemon’ trainers who came here to Alola to participate in the Island Challenge. If you really think you’re so powerful, how about proving you’re not just talk and taking them on for a change. Surely you can beat a pair of pokemon right?”
The man in question just walked forward past Kukui and stared at the pair as his grin returned. “Hah! You think a pair of weak pokemon is gonna triumph over me?”
“I certainly could” Emberflame piped up, stepping forward as she stood up once more, assuming the now pronounced “Serious pose.” Edgy.
“You’re cute and all Ninetales, but you can’t even hold a candle to me. I’m the incarnation of destruction in human form! It’s your boy! Guzma!” the man said before laughing. “All this talking has gotten me riled up. If you want a fight then bring it on!”
“Get ‘em Boss!” “Pound this puny pokemon!” “Show them who’s boss! Boss!”
The Ninetales didn’t even look at Silenrea this time for guidance, merely waiting to see if she’d step in herself for this.
Silenrea is quiet as she folds her arms, planning on fighting next if this doesn't go well. But she has faith in Emberflame, since the Ninetales has been doing extremely well this entire time. A few bumps along the way at times, sure...but she manages.
“Bring it, Guzma” Emberflame said as she put Aegis forward.
“Hah! Now you’re talking!” the human grinned. “Golisopod! Crush ‘em!”
The pokemon that came out absolutely horrified Emberflame and Rotom instantly gave the information on it.
“That’s a Golisopod! It’s big, mean, decently ugly maybe not even ugly, and it hits like a train. Remember Wimpods? Yeah those tiny bug things that run away from you, this is what they evolve into.”
“WHAT?!” Emberflame asked in horror.
“FIRST IMPRESSION!” Guzma yelled.
Before Embeflame could even react, the Golisopod zoomed forward and smashed into Aegis, KOing the Brionne instantly before he could have a chance to respond, actually sending Aegis hurling out of the battleground and into a tree nearby from just the sheer force of the strike.
“Yeah by the way that’s its signature move. Despite their slowness First Impression has a huge base power and works in a manner similar to fake out, only not THAT fast, but faster than most other priority moves. Think of it as like Extremespeed but stronger and bug-type.”
“Aegis!” Ember would call out, hoping Silenrea would retrieve him as she sent Talion forward.
“Har har har. Come on now Ninetales, is that all you’ve got?!” Guzma taunted.
The Eon has already zoomed over and is administering heals to ensure it is nothing serious. Bringing the water type back over and setting him down, then glaring at Guzma...but she cannot interfere with Emberflame's battle.
“Talion! Use Con-” Ember called before realizing a fatal mistake. She had never given Talion the Rockium Z, that was a problem given Rotom had even said this thing was a bruiser with bug/water typing.
“Liquidation!” Guzma called, the Golisopod zooming towards the Lycanroc as he prepared his own assault, having no orders to go on.
Silenrea has been watching long enough, floating in front of the attack and stopping it with a psychic barrier.
"Enough! It is over...she cannot win, but now you can face me. Unless you're scared." the Eon gets out a Pokeball to let out Audra, staring at Guzma quietly.
“Tell your friend to run home scared then!” he jeered. “Or wait, let me just send you packing with her!”
Emberflame on the meanwhile just returned Talion to his ball despite the Lycanroc’s protest and sat off to the side, mortified that she’d make such a horrible blunder.
The Golisopod seemed more than ready to continue battling, not knowing the pummeling that was about to be inflicted upon it.
"Audra, Flamethrower..." the Eon commands, knowing that it will only do standard damage with the types it has. But it is more than enough as the Flygon engulfs the foe with flames and it is out for the count.
"Got anything else..?" the Latias asks coldly, clearly upset at the mockery that was aimed at Ember.
An Ariados was sent out and quickly reduced to unconsciousness as Guzma’s glasses fell down.
“Hmph” the man said as he walked over to the Eon and Emberflame, along with Kukui. "You're lucky little fox, had your big friend here to bail you out. Next time I won't play so gentle though! Just you watch!"
The grunts then followed their boss out of there as Emberflame just cried a little, holding Aegis close and hugging on him, much to the Brionne's delight.
"What happened there Emberflame? You seemed so confident" the Professor asked thoughtfully.
"I forgot to give Talion the Rock Z-Crystal... there was no way he would have been able to KO that... bug. Otherwise" the Ninetales whined.
"If Tailon had the Z-Crystal, I wouldn't have needed to step in. Rock beating bug, really strong and it being of his type. It would have been a heck of a spectacle because he no longer had his First Impression to use. You would have been able to handle it. Small mistakes happen, don't hold it against yourself..." Silenrea says as she lowers down to give the Ninetales a hug.
"It was not a small one though... if you hadn't been here it would have been the end" the Ninetales cried quietly.
"Even against those bigger and stronger than you, you only need to have faith in your pokemon to pull through" Kukui said with a small nod. "Here, give this to Aegis when he fully evolves."
Emberflame was then handed what seemed like a Waterium Z and just looked up at the man with confusion.
"It's a Primarinium Z. It will turn his final evolution's signature move into a special one z-boosted one. It's quite the event to behold and since you've had that Brionne so long, I have no doubts he will soon evolve. So I may as well give this to you now, both as a gift from me and to help your bond with your starter continue to blossom into a lifelong relationship" Kukui said. "Ah yes! Before I forget, your next two trials are at the Observatory up the hill nearby, the bus will help you get there and after that you'll be heading southward towards Tapu Village to find the sixth."
"Alright, I guess we'll be heading that way. Should be fun." Silenrea says with a giggle, stretching a little. "I'm feeling really optimistic right now.~"
"Before we go Silen..." Emberflame began. "Can you help me evolve my Pumpkaboo?"
"Ah! You have one of those? They are quite rare to see in Alola" Professor Kukui said with a nod. "Do you know how to evolve them then?"
"It's by... I think trading?"
"Correct. Fun tidbit about them! They retain whatever size they had before, which affects their overall performance! Smaller ones are faster while bigger ones are stronger and have more health."
Silenrea blinks and reaches into her bag, pulling out the Pokeball with the Ultra Beast she caught. Not really wanting to trade any of the others, even if temporary.
"So just...hand them over to each other and back and it evolves inside the ball?"
"I wouldn't say its that easy, but give it a shot" the Professor said with a nod.
The exchange took literally seconds, though when Silenrea got the ball Pumpkin popped out and instantly evolved, looking at the Eon thoughtfully before being returned and given back to Emberflame. Whereupon she popped out again and smooched the ninetales happily, giving her a chill too because ghostly.
Then they thanked the Professor and set off towards Hokulani Observatory. Going back to see the Team Skull grunts still attempting to pull out the bus sign. The bus not only being there but the guide inside looking at them like they were crazy. As Emberflame had promised, she sicced Talion on them.
One got munched on and the other got thrown over the nearby hills. Typical Talion stuff, though the fact his appetite was increasing wasn't help matters... But of course Emberflame threw in a one-liner. “Talion! Don't actually eat the grunt... you could catch stupidity!” Then the Ninetales quickly returned him to his ball and boarded the bus before anything else could happen so the humans wouldn't start getting bad ideas of her... or at least more than they already had. Silenrea, meanwhile just flew up on her own accord, meeting the Ninetales there as a Trial Guide met them there, as if expecting them.
"Greetings Emberflame and Silenrea! Am I to assume you're here for your trials?" the man would ask.
"Yeah, we are. Nice to know that you already know our names...makes introductions more simple.~" the Latias says with a giggle.
"Naturally! I will have to be your temporary Captain as Sophocles is currently attending to one of his lightning rods at the moment, he'll be over as soon as he can" the guide said, not realizing just how sexual that sounded.
"Uhh... I'm sure he is..." Emberflame commented with a blink. "Silen you want to go first again?"
"Well if he isn't ready, I don't have a choice. I face different totem Pokemon..." the Latias responds as she rubs her neck a little, trying to decide who to use. But she can tell that it is going to be electric which narrows it down. She speaks softly to herself under her breath.
"Can't use Huo, that'd be a death sentence. Meadow could do alright but should leave her as a backup. That has Audra and Nikita as my front line Pokemon. And just in case, probably Nikita...her poison will be useful."
"Fantastic! Sadly I cannot accompany you fully to there but I can point you to where it is" the guide said before leading the Eon inside the observatory and showing her a staircase down which was well hidden behind some oddly labeled boxes. One of them read "A Pointless Distraction". Fascinating.
Then the Eon and group floated/walked downwards, finding themselves in lesser kept parts of the observatory, soon finding an abandoned generator room with, you guessed it, a Totem Pokémon.
This time it was an Eelektross, which was kept in its own pool of water, that was also swiftly abandoned by it when it saw potential prey, clawing out and facing the Eon as the normal flare and such of its Totem Aura arose, boosting all its stats by the norm.
"...Fantastic. Of course it would be an Eelektross. Hey, are these even native to Alola?!" the Latias calls out, but gets no answer.
"Tsk. Fine..." she throws a Pokeball and sends out Nikita.
"We're going to have to rely on your poisons to deal with this...ground isn't an option, this thing floats." the psychic dragon states as she stares down the totem Pokemon.
"Poison Jab!" is the command as the Nidoqueen, slightly faster than the Eelektross, rushes towards the foe with her claws glowing purple and slathered in toxins as she delivers a, as the name implies, jab...right against it.
The Eelektross then attempted to devour the Nidoqueen but naturally missed because logic. Then one had to wonder what lazy asswit put an Eelektross down here with so little fucking description. Clearly the narrator was at fault, because due to a nasty case of "Can't be fucked" syndrome. He was just sitting there giggling to himself as he wrote this cheesy lampshading text that was clearly designed to destroy the fourth wall and all immersion with it, along with going so far to self-deprecate in the process. But really someone yell at this dumbass for being so lazy with the fifth totem. Even if it was hard to make this work because of how little terrain he had to work with. Fuck.
"Poison Jab, once more! Don't let up, Nikita!" the Eon appears determined to have this end without another fatality. The Nidoqueen hitting a sweet spot and doing some extra damage...but still no poison.
The Nidoqueen then instructed Silenrea to try and catch it, whilst the Eelektross revealed its feminineness but still failed to catch itself a Nido. Now lemme tell you a short story.
Once upon a time there was a boy named... Eh... call him Phil. Phil was a pretty good sport, he had a good family, lovable pokemon, all that jazz. One day Phil ran into a Team Rocket grunt and beat him the fuck up. It was a pretty good day. The end.
And while I was telling that, Silenrea failed to catch the Eelektross and the Nidoqueen was now dead, absorbed into the womb. You heartless bastards just ignored all of this for the sake of a really fucking dumb story that nobody will ever care about. FUCK YOU PHIL!
"This is just stupid!" Silenrea shouts out loud, that she can't do anything unless her Pokemon get free. She glares and ends up psychically beaning the next Pokeball so hard that it actually disorients the Eelektross with a bit of damage and the ball latches shut due to it.
"…"
It is Audra who comes out of her Pokeball and ends up behind the Latias, then embraces her close.
"We will fight, and die, for you...don't fret over it. We're here to protect you and help you succeed. We fight by tooth, claw and everything else we have to work as a team. And no plan is perfect but you have the best tactical mind. Come on...we should go. It'll be okay, Sil..."
"3 down, 3 left on the chopping block" came the familiar voice of Vincent, who once again appeared behind Silenrea, walking past the embracing Flygon to face her directly, still in those black robes and all of his. "Your stubbornness is admirable but futile. IF you get to the final Totem Of Courage, he will render your sacrifices naught. It would be best if you just gave up now, while you have any pokemon left to comfort you."
"Do you even learn Vincent? She's going to keep trying" Emberflame said.
"And she is a fool for doing so, no matter how noble her goal may be" the human countered. "Your time is drawing closer and closer Silenrea. If you know what's good for you, do not attempt the final Totem of Courage. The being on guard there is beyond the power of even most Legendarys
"Vincent? Shut up and go away..." is all Silenrea says, turning her head to glare at him.
"All you ever do is show up and kick me when I'm down. It's really irritating..."
"My words are not meant to harm but to protect. I know the pain of loss and I strive to prevent others from damning themselves to my fate. But you are an especially stubborn case, thus why I shall appear every time one of your companions falls" the human said with his own hint of annoyance. "My team has been prepared once more, if you think you're still prepared, then fight my team at their full strength. For I refuse to allow you to see the Totem that destroyed my emotional ties to this world."
"Fine, you want to fight? I'll prove to you that my team is more than ready." the Latias reaches into her bag to get one of the Pokeballs out.
"I've spent time conversing with certain Pokemon, telepathically...two in particular. Eelektross will come later. Never noticed it when I seem oddly distracted. Plus there was a period where I...had plenty of time."
"I will prove here and now you aren't ready" Vincent stated before sending out, interestingly, a Cofagrigus. "Up in my sanctuary in Lanikila Mountain, I have trained my team more. In the deepest reaches of the cold that bites through all form of protection."
"I shall show you one of them..." Silenrea would then throw the Pokeball to reveal a familiar Lurantis.
"Kurik, use Sunny Day!" and soon there is very strong sunlight and it is getting inside the building because fuck logic this is Pokemon.
"Grim, use Trick Room" was Vincent's command, the room now becoming technoy and weird because hell yes. Also slower pokemon went faster now because FUCK YOU TRICK ROOM! "Now use Curse!"
At this point the Cofagrigus would have a pin materialize in the air before slamming it into itself, then laying a curse on the Lurantis, its HP was on an extreme drain now as its attack came.
"Solar Blade." Silenrea calls out, seemingly unconcerned with the situation as a massive blade of solar energy slams down onto the foe and knocks it out. But then the Lurantis takes a quarter of health in damage.
"...Next?"
Vincent's next choice actually stunned Emberflame once the significance of it came to her. The robed human revealing his paled hand once more as he seemingly stared at the pokeball as if in thought, before nodding to himself and tossing it out with the call.
"Alden! Now is your time!"
And out came a Drampa. Not a ghost-type, but as Rotom would playfully put it.
"That's... a Drampa. Normal/Dragon. Only lives on Mount Lanakila and is very fond of children and loves to play with them when it descends to get its favorite berrys. Very dangerous if angered, but its generally peaceful. I'm sorry I just can't understand how THIS guy has one considering he's all about being an edgy spookster."
"Hmph... This Drampa is a long time friend of mine. He kept me company when I originally secluded myself on Mount Lanakila originally and recently he decided to join my team of his own volition" was the human's response. Though Silenrea could tell he was beginning to crack a bit, as if touched just even recounting the action.
"Kurik could take that on with difficulty but possible, but not with that curse." Silenrea calls her Pokemon back and starts to contemplate on who to use. But then she decides to take a chance and sends out the other Pokemon.
"Acsai, take center stage.~" the Eon says with a giggle as she releases the Salazzle.
The Salazzle naturally switched in onto a flamethrower, which it took quite well because resistance and all that.
Then it used Extrasensory, which was sure to sting a HELLUVA lot more, stronger than it looked certainly.
Except that Extrasensory didn't even hit the Salazzle. Silenrea is playing a stalling game and has retreated the Salazzle to wait out for the Trick Room to expire. What takes the attack instead is Meadow, the Miltank tanking the attack with relative ease.
"I see you're learning. Very well, allow me to make things a bit more of a challenge then" Vincent said. "Dragon Pulse."
The Drampa then began to fire off the ever powerful dragon beam we all know and love, expecting Silenrea to not have a decent response to this action.
Silenrea does not retreat Meadow, in fact she has had a sudden plan change and instead has the attack hit, which does considerable damage. However...
"Milk Drink." Silenrea says as Meadow would get one of those mysteriously hidden bottles of milk and drinks up, healing half her health and negating the entire attack.
"Focus Blast!" Vincent commanded, the Drampa then creating a ball of energy up in the air before sending it right towards the Miltank...
With Trick Room about to expire, Silenrea makes the quick choice to get this powerhouse Pokemon Vincent has, at least special attack-wise, out of this fight. Meadow is recalled and the one who takes the attack to the face is Audra. Stepping in from the sidelines and she is not happy.
With speeds restored, the Flygon would rush in. Literally...using Dragon Rush. And slams into the Drampa delivering a massive blow...knocking it out instantly.
"Alden..." was the quiet response from Vincent upon seeing the Drampa fall. Stopping the battle for a moment as he cradled its head close, giving it a max revive from underneath his robes, but not to use it again. As it perked back up he escorted it to the sidelines and had it stay there before returning. "Apologies. I don't know what came over me there."
He then sent out a Banette, oh that could only mean trouble. Especially after it mega evolved.
"For someone who is so thoughtful about the harm upon Pokemon you care about, you sure don't have a problem abusing mine because you want to stop me. Even if you do win, I'll still press onward...I am not going to be bullied by anyone, regardless of intentions." Silenrea calls out to Vincent before she gives the order to Audra.
"Crunch!" the Flygon rushing in to attack.
"Shadow Claw!" Vincent commanded as the Mega Banette zoomed forward and tore at the Flygon. Vincent talking as it happened. "Pokémon Battles like this are not abuse, Silenrea. Else they would not happen at all, not between us. Look at yourself in that light, you are abusing mine all the same. If you wish a bit of history that Kukui didn't tell you. Then I shall enlighten you, before I came here to Alola I was a traveler around the world, competing in the various leagues with my team to earn titles and praise, naturally starting in my home region of Hoenn with just Seraph. And regardless of what you may think, I loved my team beyond mortal reason. What you see here today is what I once did in the past. Every Pokémon KOed hurts me inside, but when it is mine it hurts the most. It was only when I came here and had a horrific loss against the final totem of courage that I became this figure you see now. Jaded, cold, clinging to the past in vain memory of my fallen comrades rather than moving on. It is the sight of you being so stubborn and headstrong that sets me off now more than anything, I don't want to see you repeat the same mistake I did."
"Abusing yours all the same? Riiiight...let me quote you. 'I refuse to allow you to see the Totem that destroyed my emotional ties to this world.' Oh, and then there was 'I will prove here and now you aren't ready.' You were the one itching for a fight...you were the one who threw your Pokemon out into battle to try and teach me a lesson. Pull your head out of your rear end, Vincent. Stop trying to act so high and mighty...because it is sickening."
Audra would have rightfully have been knocked out, but she ends up holding on through sheer willpower. But that doesn't mean the Eon is willing to leave her in the fight. The one who comes in and is hit by the next attack is Huo...the Charizard growling softly.
"Shadow Sneak" was the next command before Vincent's next little speech. "Then what would you have me do then Silenrea? Leave you to watch all of your Pokémon perish for a title that few have attained? The fact you are so callous as to continue despite all this is sickening. Your prize is a mere vain praise, it will not replace those who have fallen."
"I've told you this before! And my Pokemon agree with me!" Silenrea calls out as Huo would unleash flames upon the Mega Banette.
"If I quit now, then I make the deaths so far MEANINGLESS! Giving up at this point and not trying to finish, to finish what they gave their lives for...is the BIGGEST insult I could ever do to their memory! You're the coward who ran away because of substantial loss. You turned your back on your Pokemon who fought to the death for you, and instead of trying to get the revenge on the one who wronged you...you waste your time bullying those who have lost Pokemon to the same thing to make them stop and be a coward like you and turn their back on their deceased Pokemon. Just shut up, Vincent...either battle or go away. No sob story you give is going to deter me. I'm reaching the end and that will make sure that they know that I didn't give up and let their demise be what broke me! My Pokemon would not want to see me wallowing in a corner, brooding over their deaths and wasting my life!"
The human seemed to have no words left to say, either he had given up on Silenrea ever realizing the error of her ways or maybe even just stunned to silence. What was certain however is he was not out of the battle, returning the Banette and releasing his Chandelure.
Huo would stare at the newcomer and knows exactly what to do, without Silenrea having to give any form of instruction. Immediately stomping the ground to unleash a powerful Earthquake. And as though inspired by the Latias' words, does a little extra damage. But not quite enough to knock the ghost type out.
The Chandelure responded in kind with a Shadow Ball, slamming it into the Charizard as Vincent remained silent. Something was going through that brain of his, one had to wonder what for him to be so quiet.
Huo responds with a Shadow Claw strike to take the fire ghost down, and then she looks over towards Vincent...as does Silenrea.
"...I know you care deeply for Seraph the most. Are you really going to make us have to fight? My team is tired but we have numbers..."
The human was quiet before revealing Seraph's pokeball and sending her out.
"Seraph" was his quiet tone, it had lost all the bitter tones it held, replaced by a mockery of them. It sounded the same, but it didn't have that impact. "What do you want to do?"
The question stung more than it should have, but the Altaria's answer was as clear as crystal. "You know I will not back down Vincent. I will go all out, just as I always have."
The human seemed to stop for a second, before walking over to the dragon/ghost type and giving her a pat before removing her Z-crystal, instead replacing it with a new one. One Silenrea couldn't immediately recognize.
"Then I won't hold you back any longer, you have your answer Silenrea, the battle continues" Vincent said as he stepped back, though Silenrea could feel a radiant positivity from the Altaria. Something had changed and she seemed to feel it the most.
At the moment that this happened, Silenrea also changed Pokemon. Sending out Audra, despite how heavily weakened the dragon Pokemon was.
"Very well..."
"I already know I have lost, I accept this fact. But if Seraph wants to try, then I shall not stop her anymore" the human said quietly.
The Flygon is barely able to stand, and yet she refuses to back down. Motivated by nothing more than determination and loyalty to her Trainer.
"Dragon Rush..." Silenrea says softly as the fatigued Pokemon suddenly pushes herself forward and slams into Seraph with more than enough power to down the ghostly Altaria, looping around and staying in the air as she pants heavily...then seems to wince as she lowers back down and lands near Silenrea.
However...
Seraph remained standing, her own devotion and affection for her trainer keeping her standing, surprising Vincent the most of anyone.
"Seraph?!" he forced himself to say.
"You know what I want to do, allow me that much Vincent" the Altaria said calmly despite her barely holding on.
The human merely nodded before performing the motion for a z-move, putting all of his faith in Seraph's words. "Now Seraph! Devastating Drake!"
The ghostly Altaria proceeded to breath out a special purplish kind of fire, forming it into a ball on the last of her power before sending it forward with fury unmatched, the ball soon forming the body of a literal drake-like creature, rising into the air before slamming on the Flygon in a massive explosion.
Yet Audra too, still stood. Despite the super-effective damage that should have destroyed her in this state, the Flygon held on.
"She too... still stands" Vincent said quietly in silent disbelief, as Seraph fell over. KOed by her own way.
Audra looks like she's on the verge of dying, but instead she grunts and sits. Silenrea rushing to her side to heal her up and ensure there is no lasting effects from being pushed far beyond normal limits. Then looks over at Vincent and Seraph.
"...Is she okay? I've never seen such a Z-Move before."
"Devastating Drake is the Dragon-type Z-Move" Vincent said quietly. "She used at its peak off of Draco Meteor. As for how I have this Z-Crystal, it is from a past I will not speak of now. Seraph will be fine, but... I have my own thoughts to tend to now. I shall take my leave."
Vincent didn't even bother moving out of sight this time, returning Alden to his pokeball and holding onto Seraph as an image of a Gardevoir appeared behind him, simultaneously explaining his ability to be here and there so inexplicably fast. Teleportation by an ally.
"I wonder what's going through his mind" Emberflame said quietly as she walked over to the Eon and Audra. "He seems... so inexplicably moved."
"I am not sure...but all I can do is hope something I said got through to him. I just don't want to see him and his Pokemon suffering, especially Seraph. I just hope my words do good, not damage..." the Eon replies before she waits for Audra to be ready to return to her ball. Once done, the Latias faces Emberflame.
"After all that, I need to hurry to the Pokemon Center. I will leave my Pokemon there for the time-being, except Marina...she didn't have to battle, fortunately. I'll be back really soon so I'll be there for your trial."
When the Eon and Emberflame walked back up, there was no signs of anyone wondering what the hell happened. When the guide was asked about hearing anything, there was just a shrug. Even though you know the Dragon-equivalent of an ATOMIC BOMB just went off in the basement. Nothing? Seems legit.
Then Silen went off to the center to get her Pokémon healed and Emberflame got her trial rolling when however the fuck you say his name Captain came along with his assistant. The power goes kaboom or should I say a fuse, some quizzing happens, and then Silenrea arrives just in time for Emberflame to completely super destroy beyond all reason a Totem Vikavolt. Talion being rock type and smashing the lab onto it probably helped, especially when the lab was somehow repaired when the crushing was over.
Stamps were given, stuff happened, then once safely going down the mountain Aegis decided after a random battle with a Minior that it was time to evolve into the best form of the Popplio line, Primarina. A test of his new signing voice revealed not only a new move, but sent numerous wild pokemon off the side of the mountain. Oops.
"Woooooooooo! I feel AMAZING!" Aegis giggled, squeezing his trainer close in a literally wet hug.
"Meeeeeeeeep" was Emberflame's only response.
Silenrea just snickers quietly and then looks around a little bit.
"Hmm...so, where to next?"
"My tummy?~" Aegis teased. "I still haven't gotten to hold either of you yet."
"How about... we don't do that and instead try out your z-crystal" Emberflame said as she gave the valuable little gem to the Primarina.
"Yes!" was his enthusiastic response.
Cut to one giant Water Spirit Bomb later and most of the people on the mountain were now travelling down it via a flood and don't ask about the non-flying pokemon in the area. Oh, there goes another 3 dozen right now in fact.
"Okay, Aegis? NEVER use that up on a mountain ever again. You're lucky the direction made it be you didn't cause a mudslide to destroy homes and such..." Silenrea states, she isn't upset since nobody knew what would happen.
"Must. Water Explode. More" The Primarina said in an almost zombie-like fascination.
"Silen I think we've lost him. Wait I can fix it. Aegis cuddle me" Emberflame said, before getting snatched and squeezed. "Meeeeep!"
"I looooooove you~" he giggled, having lost all interest in the moment in water exploding. Good.
And then there was travelling. And more travelling. Did I say travelling? Is this joke overused? Both of those answers end with yes.
After many bouts with random Trainers, trying to keep Aegis from flooding entire routes with his new found power, and voraphilic shenanigans. Something interesting happen at the Geothermal Plant on Blush Mountain. A random trainer was apparently having problems with a Turtonator, especially apparent before they got there when kabooms were sounding off.
Talion, naturally, wanted a piece of this and dumped a rock slide on it, then getting Shell Trapped for his troubles, that being found out as the source of the explosion when the Lycanroc got blasted into a truck nearby.
"Come on you dopey armed rock-type. Give me an attack that hurts will ya?" The Turtonator asked.
"I like this guy, can we keep him?" Rotom asked. "Oh right. That's a Turtonator. Its a big turtle with extremely high defense and a signature move, Shell Trap. If a move makes contact with it when its set, the bugger will explode in your face. It hurts, if you can't tell. Also notably Fire/Dragon.”
"The talking dex is right, it stings like a son of a bitch. Wanna come try it yourself?" he chortled.
Emberflame surprisingly took it on, shoving the random aside and bapping the area where the Turtonator exploded at, getting an explosion to the face... and not even flinching.
"Eeeeeeyyyyy?! What's the big idea?!" he grumbled.
"Flash fire sweetheart~ Can't touch me with that" the Ninetales giggled before looking at Silen. "Think he'd be helpful?"
The Eon blinks and floats over, circling around the Pokemon a bit. Rather curious since it is something she's never seen before.
"Looks strong, capable and you don't have a fire type. Is there any downside? Maybe ask him if he'd join you?"
"I'll blast you good!" he grumbled.
"Heeeeey. What would it take to get your explosive butt on this team?" the fox pokemon asked.
"I dunno. What can you offer meh?" the Turtonator asked with a now thickening Scottish accent.
"Battling? Food? Chances to explode at people?" Ember questioned.
"Ehhhh. If ya want ta know what I want. I'll give ye a hint. I'm a walkin' wall o pain. See?"
"Uhh..."
"Argh. YA DOLT! SHOULD BE OBVIOUS! I'm a protector! I need somethin' ta protect other than yer fluffy buns" he said with a face... claw?
"Protect Silenrea here, she gets targeted by nommy pokemon" Emberflame offered.
"YOU WOT"
"Nommy means-"
"I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS YA PRISS! Lemme give her an inspection" he continued, looking the Eon over thoughtfully. "Yeh. She seems pretty protectable, along with ye too considering yer fur is about as protective as a sheet o paper. Alright then gimme a ball already lass."
A few moments later and the Ninetales had herself a Turtonator, which she released instantly to play with Silenrea while she'd attend to Talion.
The Eon seems to have ended up blushing a fair bit at the whole talk of the Turtonator needing stuff to protect, finding it quite admirable. The Latias also seems to enjoy his company and purrs while chatting a bit with him, asking a few minor stuff to sate curiosity.
After everybody was all good and patched up, along with feeding Aegis again before he started getting funny ideas of whom to snack on/cuddle hint hint nudge nudge wink wink.
The group moved on to Tapu Village, met some folks, then found the trial Captain in a place called the 'Aether House' nearby. One small battle later and the guide showed up. Some purple-obsessed girl named Acerola, who would show the two to the trial site, located in the Abandoned Thrift Mall type place nearby that was apparently super haunted. At least they knew where to get Ghost-types now.
Silenrea's trial would be held first, which apparently involved some 'unstable and spooky' portal around the back that was only viewable with some camera feature with Rotom. Also Silenrea had to go alone for reasons. Of course.
So one spooky image later and Silenrea would find herself in a decently large room. Also Giratina was there, along with the remains of the previous totem pokemon lingering in the area. Which was not apparently Giratina's job it was just there because... it was why the fuck not. ITS A GHOST OKAY?!
"...Okay, you're not supposed to be here. Right?" the Eon asks quietly as she silently contemplates who to use for the battle.
Apparently it wasn't, which it just communicated through a roar and the lack of a totem aura. Also a belch.
"Right that's a mythical pokemon of sorts right there and ima just NOPE I'M DONE HERE HAVE FUN!" Rotom said before scooting his robotic butt through the portal out.
Silenrea thinks fast. Audra would be a good choice but could also go horribly if hit with a dragon move. Meadow is a Normal type but lacks any PHYSICAL moves that would do super effective damage, and her special attack is severely lacking. Acsai is not too strong defensively, and while inflicting poison would be useful...poison nor fire are that strong against it. Marina could work, but the Eon doesn't want to risk it in case the Milotic decides she doesn't want to battle for the Latias quite yet. Kurik is a grass type, not a good choice against a dragon. Narrowing it down to try and use mere brute force there was only one choice with leaving Audra as a backup.
"Huo, let's do this!" she calls as she sends out the Charizard to face up against the massive ghost dragon.
"Shadow Claw!" she calls out, the Charizard's claws becoming tainted with ghostly energy as she streaks past the Giratina and slashes at their side.
Then came a loop of Giratina eating Huo and Shadow Claws to the everything. Huo won of course. Why did you think EVERY Totem was going to end with a death? That'd be obvious, we gotta keep this shit FRESH YO.
Also turtonator showed up halfway through shell ablazing and assigned himself as "Exploder of faces that come near Silenrea. It was pretty fantastic.
Once Silenrea emerged the stamp was given and Emberflame was shuttled off inside to do her thing with Rotom. Spooky pictures were taken, a Mimikyu came out to play, and fun things happened.
Oh right and the Totem Mimikyu got brutalled mauled and nommified by another Mimikyu that popped inside, freaked Emberflame out with a nom best left unmentioned forever, introduced himself as Raggy, and joined the Team. Goodtimes!
Then Emberflame emerged to see Silenrea battling a Kecleon with Acerola KOed nearby. Also Huo was halfway inside the Kecleon's rear and the Miltank was halfway in its shaft. What even the fu-.
The Latias was not expecting something so powerful to show up, such that it strongarmed both Pokemon. He had grabbed Huo, whom was resting, and shoved her headfirst up his rear. The Eon had reacted and sent out Meadow to help only for a powerful tongue to grab and drag the bovine over and shove her feet first into an erect cock due to him practically bouncing atop of the Charizard whom roars deep within the bowels of the Pokemon.
Silenrea sends out Audra, whom rushes in but is gripped by the tongue and hurled away...the tongue threatening to eat the Flygon if she tries anything. Some long range attacks take place and yet somehow it isn't doing as much damage as would be hoped.
And then, it happens. With one mighty bounce and a wet schlorp, Huo is stuffed deep inside with only her feet and tail poking out. Shifting to a standing position, the Kecleon's tongue moves to push those feet inside and then some clenches pull the rest of the tail inside. Huo continues to struggle and try to get free, partially getting out but then tugged back inside.
With his tongue back to deflect projectiles and keep Audra back, he starts to rub his shaft before shoving Meadow deeper and then he wraps his tongue around his length and starts to pump it as she is sucked down inside. At which point he would then wrap his arms around the base and keeps her from getting out.
Clearly, an extremely experienced and powerful nommer.
And then with a loud sound and incredibly loud gurgling and sloshing sounds...the bulge of the Charizard starts to shrink and the movements stop. His ballsac starts to round out and the features of the Miltank within fade. To Silenrea, it is all just one massive nightmare. She comes out without a death only to have some random predator come by and snack on not one, but TWO of her Pokemon. Once done, however, the Kecleon actually yawns and goes to sleep...as arrogant as it gets.
Audra rushes in and slams into it before a Pokeball is thrown by Silenrea and the Pokemon is captured. She then psychically lifts the ball and brings it over. Glaring at it.
"...I should shatter it...and kill him...he took TWO from me. I won the trial...and he took them..." she is shaking in fury and other emotions wracking her.
"Uhh...." Emberflame said before slowly approaching the Eon before giving her a tender hug and whining. "Meep..."
Even the narrator was speechless, they actually had to hire a second narrator to narrate the speechlessness of the first!
Silenrea starts to cry, the Pokeball dropping to the ground as she cries. Feeling like the world itself was just out to destroy her.
As if called there by something, a familiar presence would be felt by the Eon. But instead of having some remark or thing to say, he just stood there. Watching like an omen, Seraph right behind him and keeping him close as they watched the Eon's tears drop down. For once even he was beyond words.
Silenrea is silent, turning her head to look at them...then back at the Pokeball. She picks it up psychically and puts it in her bag.
"I...I still have Audra. And Marina is warming up to me, sort of. And considering Huo took out GIRATINA, who wasn't even meant to be there. I mean...she did amazing. She was really amazing..."
"Incoming." was the only word Vincent would say before suddenly a familiar Snorlax is speeding full force towards the Eon, jumping forward and landing in front of her.
"AHA! I HAVE RETURNED! BRING OUT YOUR COW AND FACE ME THIS TIME LITTLE EON!" he bellowed, apparently having learned how to talk properly.
"Meadow is...gone." the Eon says as she looks at the Snorlax. "She just got killed by a Kecleon, as well as my Charizard. If you were here a few minutes sooner...you could have got your fight."
The Snorlax seems baffled by this and almost pouts. "You've gotta be kidding me. I SWAM ACROSS TWO BODIES OF WATER AND WALKED SO DAMN FAR! MOST OF IT ASLEEP!"
At this point a familiar turtle pops out of Ember's pokeball and storms over to the two. "YOU! FATASS! YOU TRYING TO GET IN ON MY EON?!"
"Who the hell are you and why should I care"
"DID YOU JUST ASK WHO I AM?! I'M THE TURTONATOR THAT WILL SKEWER AND EXPLODE THAT FATASS OF YOURS SO HARD YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO SIT AGAIN!" the turt exploded, actually exploding off his shell as proof, the Snorlax seemingly intimidated by this.
"Ey buddy calm down some will ya?"
"I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! NOW YOU SIT YOUR FAT BUTT DOWN AND LISTEN TO WHAT THIS ARCEUSDAMN EON SAYS BEFORE I BLAST YOU INTO NEXT YEAR YOU LARDBALL!" apparently the turtonator loses his Scottish accent when he was mad. "GET THAT BUTT DOWN MISTER!"
Seconds later the Snorlax was obediently cowering/sitting on the black sand, just looking at the eon with an expression that said. "GET THIS MANIAC AWAY FROM ME!"
"You may not be able to get your revenge, but I'll make sure you didn't come all this way for nothing. Besides...I admire that you were that determined, it actually does impress me. And if Meadow were here. I...I would have gladly given a rematch." Silenrea would get out a Pokeball and holds it out to the Snorlax.
One would have never expected a Snorlax of all things to be so quick to get INTO a pokeball. But in he went under the glaring eyes of the Turtonator, after that was done he calmed down instantly, gave Silenrea a salute, then marched off back to Emberflame and returned to his ball.
"Wow" Vincent muttered. "That Snorlax was way more powerful..."
"He's got that edge about him Vincent, believe me he is a thing" Emberflame said before realizing she just casually spoke to Vincent. Who was this and what had they done with her 'favorite' spook guy.
"It seems odd. I lost two Pokemon to a non-Totem, and I got two Pokemon." the Eon states quietly, starting to wonder if there is some sort of cosmic force in Alola doing this.
"Whatever it is, its certainly shining down upon you Silen" the Ninetales agreed before turning to Vincent. "So what are you doing here?"
"It was close enough to my sanctuary that I felt I should at least see what happened this time" the human stated quietly. "It seems the Eon has prevailed against a force greater than expected, truly she's full of surprises."
"I'm sure Seraph could have done better. It was a slow battle. And unlike other battles I didn't capture the Giratina...they can go back to their world and think about what happened. Besides...I'm sure they'll never come back to mess with me. Err...right?" the Eon says optimistically.
"I'm fairly certain if a Snorlax went over two islands and bodies of water that the embodiment of the distortion world is going to follow when it feels like it" was Vincent's plain response. "So all that's left is just the final totem along with the last two kahunas? Yes?"
The Latias nods and nuzzles Emberflame.
"Yeah...our journey is almost over. Well...this chapter of it anyway."
Acerola then appeared back on the scene in a bit of a panic. "Hey! Could I get some help! There's problems at the Aether House!"
The Eon is quiet and looks at her before nodding.
"Okay, let's not waste time."
Some running/floating, Vincent disappearing, and general shenanigans later and the group was given their latest task. Rescuing a Yungoos from Team Skull, in their home base at Po Town. Also Acerola gave over the Ghostium Z and Stamps but who cares about that.
Emberflame would lead the charge since she was more on par with the grunts and Silenrea would run them all over anyway... wait... why not have Silenrea lead then? Good thought me. Oh right, so Emberflame could get experience and all that, along with probably beating Guzma this time. Turtonator, whom was now named Turt for short, was informed of Guzma's nature and the pokemon he'd have to fight, his response was as follows.
"YOU LET HIM BRING OUT THAT BIG ROACH AND I'LL STOMP IT INTO THE GROUND YA HEAR?! IF IT COMES NEAR ME I'LL BLAST IT TO KINGDOM COME! I'LL BURN IT TO A CRISP NO MATTER ITS TYPING! LEMME AT EM!"
Emberflame felt far more safe after this, Silenrea just smiled, and then they made their way over to route 16.
"Kind of tempted to actually unleash both my Kecleon and Snorlax out on the grunts and let them feed on them. But then I'd be a hypocrite..." the Eon mumbles under her breath.
"Here have a present" a man said after quickly handing Silenrea a pokeball, before a pair of angry seemingly Kalos-Clothed men chased after him. Yelling something about Zygarde and such. Ah well, probably nothing special.
"Huh...that was random." the Latias remarks quietly as she watches them leave, then decides to see what is inside the Pokeball.
Suddenly Zygarde appeared... from out of the pokeball. Looking at Silenrea with confusion before shrugging it off and bonding to her. Because yes. Shush its not bullshit. I SAID SHUSH DAMN YOU.
The Latias squee's and is very fond of her new snakey companion. And decides to just leave them out and accompany alongside. It'll be more fun that way.
"Well that happened" Emberflame said before things moved along.
The meadow ahead was soon cleaned out of trainers. Then everyone found out the route ahead was filled to the brim with Team Skull grunts. Joy.
Many were snacked upon by Ember's team, mostly against her will except one or two, then they got locked out of Po Town itself.
Suddenly a man with gray hair, amazing uniform, and a face that said "God why am I doing this" showed up. He was Nanu and after saying he'd help the group's bodies get hauled away somewhere decent, he unlocked the door and let them through. Then it turns out Team Skull had barricades.
"Can we blow them up? Please?" Ember asked.
"Only if it is Turt who does it. He makes a good long-range artillery. And close range demolition of course." Silenrea says with a snicker.
Moments later the grunts, who felt their barricade was perfect, were running away in horror after most of it was wiped off the planet by Turt.
"YA BETTER RUN YA WEE COWARDS!" he called before basically decimating every barricade in sight up to a big ol' mansion.
"He is pretty good at this isn't he?" the Ninetales giggled as they advanced.
"I told you, even I could tell from looking at him. Besides...if he could intimidate a SNORLAX. I suspect a lot of Team Skull underwear is needing a clean..." the Latias says with a snicker.
"We don't wear underwear! We wear briefs!" A voice came from inside the pokemon center, correction, what was ONCE the pokemon center.
"DID I JUST HEAR SOMEONE NOT FLEEING?!" Turt bellowed and even though they couldn't understand him, the voice went instantly dead quiet.
Then there was breaking into the mansion, intimidating the poor grunts, and then a guy who would not budge until given a password.
"Look, you want a fucking password?" Ember asked in one of the rare times she uses human swears. "Here's your password!"
Said password was Talion, whom immediately threw the poor sap out the window of the two story building. "I'd say I'm a pretty good password."
Then the two grunts guarding the office just stepped aside casually, they knew what the group was here for.
"So you made it? Is it really that easy to bait you all?" the voice of Guzma asked as Emberflame entered the room. The Yungoos just cowering near a grunt. There was also notably a pretty amusing plaque on the wall that people would have to google if they wanted to see what was on it, as well as a giant stash of Bugnium Z.
"I am not sure you'd consider that baiting us when we simply got alerted as to where you were all holding out and just simply clear the place. Not the best idea." the Latias states with a fair bit of a grin, having followed the Ninetales and resting atop of her Zygarde's head.
"Don't worry, I'm just here to watch the fireworks.~"
"You think you're tough still Latias? Well lemme tell ya now, I'm STILL the incarnation of destruction in human form! And I'll prove it by taking out your weak friend here before moving onto you. Maybe the miniscule damage she inflicts will help you knock out of one of my pokemon!" the man said angrily before the battle began once more.
Golisopod was up first, but in response to this Emberflame just smiled and whistled, summoning Turt from his reign of terror downstairs, the door falling over as the Fire/Dragon type stormed in.
"OH! YOU! I'VE HEARD ABOUT YOU UGLY BUG THING. OOOHHHH, WHEN I GET MY CLAWS ON YOU!" Turt growled.
The Golisopod didn't respond, instead taking the order to use First Impression. Bad idea.
"Shell Trap!" the Ninetales commanded, causing the Golisopod to meet with a Shell full of KABOOM upon impact, getting blasted back much to Guzma's surprise. Though the human quickly regained his composure.
"Liquidation! Slam that thing down!"
A second shell trap activated the Golisopod's ability whilst Turt still stood strong, the Golisopod force switching out as a Pinsir came in.
"Come on Guzma, I don't see you destroying anything now!" Ember taunted.
"You little... Guillotine!" the Team Skull Leader commanded.
"Don't let that strike! Blast it!"
Turt surprisingly evaded the one hit knock out and in absolute fury, unleashed a Fire Blast at point blank. Surprisingly the Pinsir took it but it was clearly badly damaged by that attack.
"Submission!"
"Shell Trap!"
The Pinsir managed to force some damage out onto Turt but he stood strong, blasting the pinsir into a KOed state as he smiled smugly.
"COME ON YA WEAKLING! GIVE MEH A CHALLENGE!"
Golisopod came out and got blown back as well, no need to elaborate there.
Then out came the Araidos, using Psychic which somehow a bug/poison type learned to strike at Turt, finally taking down the fire/dragon as Emberflame had Talion come out.
Apparently caving the ceiling in on a spider was enough to KO it. Pretty good stuff right there. Guzma was reasonably baffled given how he had stomped Emberflame the first time.
"Wah- WHAT?! WHY CAN'T I CRUSH YOU?!" was his only response.
"Last time you caught Emberflame unprepared. That is all...~" Silenrea says cheerily. "We'll be taking the stolen Pokemon back now."
"Go ahead, give it to them" Guzma said quietly, glaring at the group. "Let's go." would be the words he says to the grunts. With all of the grunts in the mansion suddenly disappearing, including the dead/half-alive ones. Apparently some reality-bending being was making it so that all the deaths so far were undone for the sake of plot. At least it made this somehow a plot work. Oh and Nanu showed up to give his own unchanging face some more spotlight, semi-congratulated the group, and stuff happened.
Then sometime later the Yungoos was returned, Acerola thanked the party, then it was back to Malie City.
"Wait..." Emberflame asked with a blink. "Where's the Kahuna?"
"Oh right...we have to do that." Silenrea says with a giggle. Her Zygarde has returned to the Pokeball to rest up. She also appears to be cuddling a familiar Bagon.
"Uh... wait. Do we even KNOW the Kahuna?" the Ninetales asked with a blink. "Nobody's even mentioned them!"
"Chances are, if there is knowledge of us doing the Island Challenges and everything...surely they'll show up. It's their job as the Kahuna. So either way it should work out..." the Eon states optimistically.
"The Latias' deduction skills are above average I see" the voice of Nanu came, a peer behind revealing the man walking up. His face was still as stony as ever, not that kind of stony the unchanging one. Jeeze. "Both of you, I'm the Island Kahuna. I'll spare you all the prattle if you'll get this over with. Walking here is not exactly the most pleasant thing for me."
"Alright, in that case you can choose which of us you battle first." the Eon says with a grin. "That way we take as little time as possible."
"You first then" was his 'as enthusiastic as possible' response to Silenrea. "No need to make it more serious than it needs to be."
The first pokemon to come out was a Sableye, just grinning at Silenrea as mischievously as ever, also confirming Nanu's type of choice; Dark. Since Acerola was already proven to be the ghost specialist.
The Latias ponders quietly and then sends out Acsai, the Salazzle looking ready for battle.
"Let's try make this quick. Toxic!"
The reptilian Pokemon leans forward and suddenly ejects out a vast amount of potent poison at the foe.
"Fake out" the Kahuna said quietly, denying the use of the toxic completely, at least this time.
The Eon just snickers a little, and Acsai knows what to do. She wasn't too happy with that, and thus uses Toxic again. And this time...it hits.
"Power Gem" Nanu commanded, the Sableye just grinning before 6 gem-like entitys rise into the air, throwing beams of light at the Salazzle and striking it for a super effective hit.
Silenrea sees that take quite the toll from her Pokemon and then she remembers.
"Disable!" the move immediately becoming locked from use.
The Sableye seems to stop dead cold, but just for a moment.
"Shadow Ball" was the next command to be given.
Silenrea decides to try what she should have from the start but she is simply...extremely inexperienced with Alolan Pokemon, and also Poison types.
"Flamethrower!" and thus the Shadow Ball never came as the billowing flames were more than enough to end the conflict.
"You know, I think I'll let him have a chance to kick some butt. Time for my big teddy to come out." Silenrea says with a giggle before sending out Boone, her Snorlax.
On Nanu's side, a Krookodile would come out, which amusingly had intimidate meaning the Eon was either dealing with almost no damage or another switch. Who would have thought official sources would have been so cruel?
"Crunch" Nanu commanded, his face still about as set as usual.
Boone takes the hit and then gets the instruction from the Eon.
"Belly Drum." the Snorlax starting to beat his belly as it takes half his health to maximise his attack.
"Earthquake" because clearly the ground in a port city needed to be torn the fuck up to destroy a Snorlax, or at least attempt to.
Boone seems to be managing to hold on, but he is badly hurt.
"Boone, take a nap.~"
The Snorlax flops over onto his back and passes out as he heals up completely.
Another Earthquake later and the Snorlax was more asleep then a dA watcher with zero watches. Or something. God I just made this dated what the fuck is wrong with me?
And then, Silenrea calls out.
"Sleep Talk!" and simply hopes for the best.
What happens can only inspire wonder as Boone stands up, holds out his arms before leaping into the air and somersaulting before coming down hard and fast upon the Krookodile with a Heavy Slam. And that was the end of that...which causes the Eon to glance around.
"I uhh...umm...BOONE COME BACK!" she recalls the Snorlax to his ball and rubs her head with a paw before throwing another Pokeball and letting out Audra.
"…"
The Kahuna just shrugged and returned the krook before sending out a Honchkrow.
"Audra, use Dragon Claw!" the Flygon rushes in instantly and delivers a strong slash. There was no critical strike with this, and the Honchkrow is still in this fight.
"Brave Bird"
And thus the unlovable bird of mob origins and the like rose up, gracefully descended, then somehow combined sky attack with quick attack or some shit i don't know and collide into Audra at the speed of REALLY FUCKING FAST.
"Audra, try finish this quickly. Draco Meteor!" Silenrea calls out, since the stat it will drain isn't exactly the Flyon's strong point anyway.
Nanu would heal the Honchkrow at this point, before then saying in the ever emotionless tone.
"Sucker Punch"
Silenrea doesn't let that go without a fight, since she's not losing because someone's storing extra lives in their pockets in the form of Full Restores. As such, the Eon uses a Max Potion on Audra to recover her...which apparently means the Sucker Punch fails because LOGIC.
"Alright, uhh...Dragon Claw again!" Silenrea says, poking out her tongue a little as the Flygon delivers another strike. And that was it, and it is at this point where the Eon decides to count her blessings and let Audra rest up. Calling her Pokemon back and sending out Kurik the Lurantis.
And then... wait hold on. We're on page 23. THAT'S LIKE, THE ENDING POINT OF ALL THE OTHER CHAPTERS! For consistency sake this is now... drumroll please........
A CLIFFHANGER! OMFG! YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT TILL PART 5 IS UPLOADED SECONDS AFTER THIS TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENS! OH THE HUMANITY!
Once those words had been spoken there was truly no going back, with Hala sending out his Hariyama. Emberflame would respond by sending out Turt.
"LEMME AT 'EM MISS! I'LL BEAT 'EM UP BUT GUD!" the Turtonator said, completely fired up for such a heated battle.
"Use Fake Out!"
Turt was instantly flinched from the sudden onslaught by the fighting-type, but the close combat would follow next turn was responded too with a powerful, in the words of Turt, "KABEWM!"
The Hariyama was made of sterner stuff however and came back again next round, slamming Turt and decking him completely with the second close combat. Clearly the E4 was more than serious, this was going to be a trial all its own.
"Pumpkin! Now is your chance!" Ember would call, releasing the Gourgeist as the Hariyama prepared to slam it down too.
However its chance never came, a Shadow Sneak taking it down as its far weakened defenses did it in.
"Primeape! Come out and punish them!" Hala commanded, the fighting-type going berserk upon entry and using Punishment on Pumpkin, who would just respond with a Seed Bomb to the face.
"Stomping Tantrum!"
"Pumpkin! Explosion!" Emberflame said, seeing the Ghost/Grass type already having suffered severe damage, the Gourgeist zooming forward before KOing itself and the Primeape in one mighty blast.
Then out came... a problem. A bewear to be more specific, looking for all intents and purposes cute and adorable until it crushed you with its sheer might.
"Ae-" Ember began before Snowfrost came forward confidently. "Let me Sister!"
Despite the protests Emberflame wanted to say, she nodded solemnly and instead called out. "Snowfrost! Moonblast!"
The Bewear did not take that well, almost getting KOed instantly but managing to hold on, using Hammer Arm in return and forcing Snowfrost to the ground, at least Silenrea was cushioned in there!
The Moonblast after though would force the bewear down, after which a Poliwrath came out... getting destroyed instantly, however Snowfrost would retreat at this point at the sight of Ember's last opponent for this round. A Crabominable.
The giant polar fuzzed crab was a force to be reckoned with and only now did Aegis come out, fully prepared to do his part.
"Oceanic Operetta!" Emberflame called.
"All-Out Pummeling!" Hala called back, the Snow Crab actually somehow outspeeding Aegis as it sped forward, laying into Aegis but not managing to take her down as she formed the Water Spirit Bomb of doom, then OHKOed the Crab.
Some talking later and the Ninetales would be on the way to the rock-type room, finding Olivia there and...
Okay let's face it Aegis curbstomps this entire trial without a doubt, NEXT!
And suddenly Emberflame would then face quite a troublesome opponent... Acerola. Revealing that not all of the Kahunas were at the Elite Four.
"Heya Ember!" was Acerola's response to her entry. "You ready for a fight against me?"
"I'm certain you'll make it fun, so yes" the Ninetales giggled. "But I'm not letting you stop me from getting to the champion's hall."
"Well... Good luck!"
The battle began in earnest, with Pumpkin against Sableye. Somehow the Gourgeist prevailed against that and the drifblim that came after, then finally fell to the Dhelmise, whom proved to be a problem quite quickly, taking down Talion before Turt came in and finally stopped its rampage... and destroyed the Froslass that came after.
Then came the Palossand, which finally took down Turtonator and forced Emberflame to basically use Aegis, despite the water compaction, naturally the starter had a plan. And that plan was WATER SPIRIT BOMB KABOOM! It worked, surprisingly, the ability unable to full take the sheer force of the z-move and OHKOing the ground/ghost type instantly.
Then came Kahili, to which Ember simply asked.
"Who the hell are you and why should I care?"
Talion made short work of all the flying-types she used, even the Skarmory!
Then Kukui showed Emberflame up to the champion's hall, allowing her to take the throne...
For but a few faint seconds.
"Of course, there is one last thing we must attend to" the Professor said as Vincent admired the view. "You've got to deal with me first."
"What?!" the Ninetales asked in surprise. "You actually?!"
"Yep. I'm a Pokémon move expert, why wouldn't I?" Kukui asked as he took out a pokeball. "So, Emberflame, for the claim on the championship of Alola! I challenge you to a battle!"
Silenrea would contact Emberflame telepathically.
"If I can hold my ground against the Tapu and come out on top after everything that happened, you can handle this. Go for it, be the champ!~"
Emberflame would pause only to fully heal all of her Pokémon, then sent out Pumpkin. "Let's do it! Professor Kukui, I accept your challenge!"
The battle that would decide the first Champion of Alola had begun. The Professor sending out his once a Rockruff but was now a Lycanroc Midday form. Where once they had been friends, the time for friendship was to be put aside for this battle.
"Use Stone Edge!"
"Seed Bomb!"
The two attacks would flawlessly execute, both sides taking heavy damage but neither were close to down for the count. But then the next volley would fly.
"Crunch!"
"Phantom Force!"
The Lycanroc, being far faster, would outspeed the Gourgeist and bite deeply into her, gnashing and thrashing before getting tossed away as the Gourgeist plunged into the unknown.
The Lycanroc would attempt to protect, but the Phantom Force broke right through. However, Pumpkin was vulnerable, leading to Emberflame's next move as the decider.
"Destiny Bond!"
"Crunch Again!"
Pumpkin would not even get the chance to go out like it once had, the poor thing fell right over as the super-effective move took out the rest of its health.
"Snowfrost!" Ember called to her sister who stepped forward, despite STILL holding Silenrea.
"Ice Shard!"
"Accelerock!"
Pellets of ice would end the Lycanroc's sudden charge, the rock wolf sliding to a stop as it finally went down.
"Magnezone! To my side!" Kukui would command, releasing something that forced Emberflame to recall her sister instantly, sending out Turt in her stead, letting the Fire/Dragon type take the Flash Cannon that would have destroyed Snowfrost in an instant.
"Thunderbolt!"
"Fire Blast!"
Both attacks would slam down on each other, the Magnezone taking the bigger brunt due to its fire-type weakness, but it was most definitely not down for the count yet.
"Fire Blast again!"
"Mirror Coat!"
That was a problem, the fire blast would land successfully again, somehow, but the resulting Mirror Coat completely destroyed Turt, sending the fire/dragon type crashing into the wall from impact.
Already the stakes were being leveled against Emberflame, but she was not one to give up! Not this far in!
"Talion! Take it on!" the Ninetales commanded, sending the Lycanroc out who smiled smugly.
"Flash Cannon!"
"Brick Break!"
Talion proved not only faster, but more powerful, demolishing the Magnezone with the fighting-type move and finally taking it out of the fight.
"Go! Snorlax!" The Professor would call, an odd choice, but given the sheer bulk of Snorlax alone it would prove hard to defeat, especially with the first move called.
"Heavy Slam!"
"Counter it Talion!"
"C'MERE YOU LARD BALL!" Talion said with an evil grin as the Snorlax basically rocketed into the air before slamming down onto the Lycanroc, whom instantly slammed it away with an incredibly hard hitting Counter, only the Snorlax's sheer Health saved it from an OHKO.
"High Horsepower!"
"Stone Edge!"
What happened next was slightly amazing, the two pokemon managed to KO each other, leaving Emberflame with Snowfrost and Aegis with Kukui having three other unrevealed pokemon.
Snowfrost was sent out next with Kukui sending out a Braviary.
"Brave Bird!"
"Ice Beam!"
Surprisingly, not only did the Braviary take the Ice Beam almost ludicrously well, it basically took Snowfrost down with one hit! The Alolan Ninetales retreating from battle declaring she was too wounded to continue, and given the sheer damage given to her in that one attack alone, Emberflame couldn't blame her a bit. However... This left her with but one option. In a one versus three.
"Aegis! This is your time!" Ember declared as she sent out the Primarina in question.
Silenrea, meanwhile, actually starts to heal up Snowfrost from within...not wanting her to be hurting any longer than is needed.
"Don't be scared" The Primarina said to Ember. "Have faith in me, I shall not fail! You will ascend this throne and take on the title you've worked so hard for! I swear it upon my very life that you shall be victorious!"
"Aegis..."
"Don't talk to me till this is all said and done Emberflame! Command me and let us take this fight into our own paws!"
The Ninetales nodded and looked to face Kukui once more.
"Aegis! Use Sparkling Aria!"
"Another Brave Bird!"
Despite the sheer damage the bird had caused before, Aegis seemed to take the damage rather well, stacking her own pain onto the Braviary as it seemed to grow weak.
"Crush Claw!"
"Aqua Jet!"
That move seemed to startle the Professor, not expecting a special attacker to use a physical priority water move learned at such a low level, however with a slap of his tail the bird was beak first into the ground, KOed finally.
"You truly kept Aegis with that move all this time? You are a wonder Emberflame" Kukui said with an approving nod. "But I'm still not done!"
"Neither am I! Bring it on!" the Ninetales challenged, Aegis finding himself staring down an Alolan Ninetales now.
The Ninetales in question was at a severe disadvantage, forced to rely on its secondary STAB to damage Aegis, who despite having already suffered great amounts of such was still sitting tall. Some unknown force was pushing the Primarina to his absolute limits now.
"Another Moonblast!"
"Give them a Hydro Pump!"
The Ninetales was on critical health now, but Aegis was finally showing signs of the strain he was putting on himself.
"Moonblast! One last time!"
"Aqua Jet!"
Again the tail would slap the opponent into unconsciousness, such a useless move on a Pokémon like Aegis had become the key to victory over TWO opponent's now. Only one remained, the one that put the most fear into Emberflame's heart.
"Go! Decidueye!" Kukui commanded, the situation got even worse when the Professor started doing the motions for a Z-Move.
"Go Decidueye! Bloom Doom!"
Emberflame's mind raced in overtime, there was only way to stop this. It was the most illogical thing possible as Emberflame stood herself up and began performing the moves herself as best she could, even if she didn't have to. All of her hopes were now pinned upon this working.
"Aegis!" the Ninetales would shout. "Counter his Z-Move with your own! Oceanic Operreta!"
Even Kukui seemed astounded by those words, Aegis rising up with fire burning in his eyes as he put everything he had into the latest Water Spirit Bomb.
The resulting clash of Z-moves was beyond words. The fact that the two starters were so close enough in speed as to make this possible further compounded the bullshit level of what was about to occur.
Aegis, knowing how bloom doom worked, crashed his own z-move down right in front of him, exploding the water outwards and destroying the opponent's Z-move at the cost of his own. Despite how low he was on energy, he refused to give in.
"Ice Beam!" Emberflame cried.
"Leaf Blade!"
Aegis was outsped, the Leaf Blade striking him, worse off landing a critical hit. Yet the Primarina refused to go down, toughing it out for Emberflame as he landed a critical Ice Beam in return, abusing the vulnerability of the stunned grass starter, whom had though Aegis was finished, to cripple him. However, it still wasn't over.
"Aegis! You've got to use another Ice Beam!" Emberflame cried, tears welling up in her eyes as she felt so close, yet could the Primarina hang on from ANOTHER Leaf Blade?
"Leaf Blade! Finish this!" The Professor called.
What happened was truly monumental, Aegis ignored the order to use Ice Beam, instead zooming forward on an Aqua Jet and catching the grass-type off guard, slamming him to the ground before using Moonblast point-blank, KOing his opponent!
"Aegis!" Emberflame would call when she realized what had happened, the Primarina falling over instantly afterwards, complete exhausted from the strain of taking so much damage more than he should have.
All the Professor could do was be stunned at the sheer bond that had formed between the pair, then beginning to slowly clap as the Ninetales picked up her beloved starter and cradled him close, letting him rest against her.
"You did it. Emberflame" Kukui said with a gentle nod. "You've become the First Champion of Alola!"
Snowfrost would have let Silenrea out at this point, knowing she would want to be able to be free for this moment. After all, Emberflame, due to Aegis' outrageously amazing actions, had just won a battle she seemed fated to lose. All because of the sheer love the Primarina held for his trainer, going the extra marathon to make sure she won at the cost of all his fighting capability that he could have mustered.
The Eon is clean and floats over to cuddle up to Emberflame, nuzzling gently before radiating out a lot of healing energy to help the Ninetales' entire team.
"I... did it..." Emberflame said quietly. "All thanks to you Aegis..."
"Ey... Look at that... Told ya I could" the Primarina grinned as Silenrea healed him. "It was only a three versus one, no prob.~"
"You went too far..."
"And? It won you the battle. It was worth it in my eyes" Aegis said with a slow nod. "You're my beloved trainer, its my job to do things like this."
"You did amazingly well Aegis. Above and Beyond the call of duty" Vincent said as he walked over. "Your dedication there would have made even Seraph a bit jealous. She never gets those kinds of opportunities to excel like that."
"Well Emberflame, shall I leave you to enjoy your post for a while?" The Professor asked. "After all, I bet your team is wanting a rest after all of that battling."
The Ninetales would nod and smile as she continued to hold the Primarina close, giving him a smooch just out of sheer bliss.
"Should I go and leave you all to have time to relax and enjoy? Or want me to stick around?" Silenrea asks softly, glancing around a little as she thinks it is quite the place for a champion.
"Vincent, you may want to leave~" Aegis cooed, the human taking the hint and skedaddling. "Sooooo... Do I get a victory snack?~"
"Define victory snack" Emberflame said as she had a pretty good idea of it.
"Well...~ You in my belly and Silenrea in my sac...cy. I'll work on it later but the point is I want you two deep inside me" The Primarina giggled. "Pleeeeaaaasssseeee?~"
This catches the Latias off-guard, since she was first eaten by a Lapras, gets out and ends up unbirthed by Snowfrost. And now going right back inside once more. But she figures he deserves it after that and so she just shrugs...sort of.
"Alright...if it's alright with Emberflame. Convince her, not me."
"Come on Ember...~ Give it to me this one time~" Aegis asked innocently.
"... Alright... Just this once Aegis" Emberflame sighed with a giggle, getting right up on the throne with the Primarina and hugging on him.
Silenrea meanwhile was grabbed by Talion and taken over manually, the Primarina's dick extending out anxiously for its soon-to-be-filled state.
"Normally I don't care for such acts but... Gotta feed the big boy now don't we?" the Lycanroc snickered.
The Eon eeps at both things. The fact she is grabbed and carried over, or looking at that hungry shaft that emerged to greet her. Silenrea glances at Aegis' face, as though trying to work out how he is feeling or what he is thinking without cheating by using her abilties.
The Primarina seemed overjoyed to have help, giving Emberflame a smooch before opening wide and nomphing her head, suckling and licking on her gently as the Ninetales would just tense up and huff inside, not used to this at all.
"Oh my, look at this Silenrea, you seem to be late for your meeting with Dickhead McGee! Here lemme help you get to him!" Talion snickered before placing Silenrea head to the cock, Aegis's member extending out and grabbing her right up with a schlorping sound, starting to pull her in as seed leaked out.
This causes a soft muffled sound to come from the Eon as she feels the flesh embracing around her head. She somewhat stiffens up for a moment, wings twitching...but then she ends up forcing herself to relax. At least with her head inside, the slowly growing blush is fully concealed.
"Ahhhnn...~" The Primarina murred quietly, taking a gulp at Emberflame's head and using his large paws to support her in front of him as Silenrea was getting sucked downward into a churning and schlorping cock, absolutely nothing was getting out of there... except the seed, anyway. Especially since Silenrea was making him quite lustful... in a weird sense. He more just wanted the Eon inside there as quickly as possible to please him and keep her close.
Emberflame meanwhile just twitches and huffs, wriggling and squirming in the seal's grasp, just slowly getting pulled into his hot and damp depths. Aegis certainly wasn't complaining, this was like his wettest dreams coming true, quite literally.
Silenrea would move her paws a little, they end up lightly nudging against Aegis' length...but only briefly. Meanwhile her blush has deepened due to the thick male scent around her. But she seems to be keeping her senses under control at the very least. She didn't expect this to be what happens to her at the end of the entire journey, that being the one that ends with Emberflame as the champion.
"I luff you boff fooooo musch" was the muffled words of Aegis, whom gulped Emberflame even more, pulling the ninetales in up to her stomach now with a loud gulp, meanwhile just wiggling his penis around with Silenrea inside, gently stirring the seed inside as the Cock 'gulped' her up to her own chest, the winglets folding in as they too were enveloped.
The Eon's wings would never pose any sort of challenge, her body is the main problem. Those wings bend easily enough when not empowered with psychic energy. Which is good news for the Primarina, as they simply become extra pleasure bulges being tugged down into his shaft.
Silenrea takes a moment to respond, but uses psychic energy to ensure nothing gets in her maw while doing so.
"We love you too, otherwise we wouldn't be doing this." she giggles softly.
At this point the water/fairy type had gulped Emberflame up to the point where only her tails stuck out, Aegis placing his paws on his now beginning to bulge stomach happily and slurping Ember inside with a loud gulp, holding his gut as she filled into it as he let out a deep murr of love, looking down to his erection as Silenrea disappeared fully inside with a bit of a spurt, the massive throbbing cock scooting her downward deeper and deeper until she too, filled out into her own sac and was now covered completely in Primarina seed... along with being fully trapped in there.
"Ahhhhh...~!" Aegis murred, rubbing over his stomach as his tail swished around in bliss. "Oh my... This is as perfect as I've imagined it would be! Gosh I can't bear to let you two go... just... stick around inside me please.~"
The other Pokémon would soon climb up on the Throne, Talion claiming the left side, Pumpkin seating herself at the base, Snowfrost on the right, and Turt at the top, like some hulking explosive crown.
"I love you all..." the Primarina giggled as he pulled the others close. "Let's be together forever!"
And thus this series comes to an end. The Alola Main stuff anyway.
Sadly we could not stretch it to 23 pages like the meme calls for but hey.
I think this is a good enough ending. Hope you all enjoyed reading, all the 2 of you left.~
