Sendoff
Twilight Sparkle was having a very, very, unusual day. She woke up with Pinkie Pie yelling on Twilight's bed that there were some new ponies in town and that she needed Twilight's help with a party for each and every one of them. Then, Twilight heard something.
"Pinkie, do you hear that?" Twilight said, sounding half asleep.
"Hear what?" the pink mare questioned.
"It sounds like somepony whispering, right outside this window," the purple unicorn replied, still sounding groggy.
Pinkie, out of complete interest, popped her head out of every window in Twilight's library, and did a full lap around Twilight's house.
She zoomed back to the owner of the library, who was already mostly asleep again.
"Twilight, there was nothing outside. Maybe you just need something to get you up in the morning."
Twilight was going to interject, but she thought it might be a good idea.
Twilight yawned. "Okay, but let's have breakfast first."
One bowl of Hay Flakes later, Twilight was ready.
Twilight headed over to Sugarcube Corner to meet Pinkie. "So what will we do, Pinkie?" she asked the pink earth pony.
Pinkie was shaking with fear.
"Come into my basement."
The unicorn was frightened. "Care to explain what's going on here, Pinkie?"
"Those other ponies I were talking about- they-they were taking ponies-"
Applejack, who was also in the basement, cut in. "-somewhere far away. We're pretty much the only ones left."
Their other friends came out of the dark.
Rainbow Dash said something she heard one of them say something. "They were talking about somepony more powerful than Princess Celestia and Luna combined."
"It could be Discord! Or wait, they beat him... Uh, I just hope my dresses are'nt ruined!" Rarity chimed in.
She fell to the ground. The others did too.
"Guys?" Twilight said, before falling to the ground.
She woke in a large chariot.
