They Walk Among Us

When both Equestria's and Earth's sun turn Supernovas, both humans and ponies must learn to coexist.

When a Supernova consumes both Earth and Equestria, humans and ponies find themselves, and their worlds, combined. When the rising tension between the species explodes into all-out war, however, the new planet finds itself completely ravaged into a nothing but a quiet, dead wasteland.

Former human Steven Reilly, a famous particle physicist, somehow finds himself right at the middle of the conflict. Twilight Sparkle, Element of Magic, had been separated from all of her friends in the explosion. Both seemingly unrelated ponies are then tasked with the retrieval of the Elements of Harmony, which will help the resistance effort stop the mighty war. But sadness, tragedy, and death block their paths to bringing peace to the land. Can these ponies find it in themselves to overcome them? Or will they succumb to their fears and fail?

And how would the presence of a whole new Element affect the equation?
