The discovery of the Stone of Melody
"Twilight, how can we go back to the alternate universe? It's been less than thirty moons!" Spike asked Twilight,
"Remember the letter Princess Celestia sent a few days ago? She found another way to get to the alternate world!" Twilight exclaimed. She sat in her new castle, a book floating with her magic. She was deeply absorbed in the book about different methods of protecting Equestria. She found an object rather similar to her "Element of Harmony", the Stone of Melody.
"Spike, what is this?" Twilight asked Spike,
"Oh, that? It's the original "Stone of Melody", used in place of the Elements of Harmony against Nightmare Moon. I can't believe we actually have that! It's a piece of Equestria history!" Spike yelled in excitement,
"It's a stone that gives anypony exceptional power, but can often lead to greed. I'm guessing that is why Princess Celestia and Luna never used it very often." Twilight concluded. As she started to put the Stone away, she had an idea.
"Hey, Spike... do you mind if I bring this with me to the other world?" Twilight asked,
"What?! Take a piece of history?! I'm sorry, but you cannot that. That is not happening!" Spike yelled. Spike decided not to, because when Sunset Shimmer put on Twilight's Element of Harmony, Sunset attempted to rule Equestria. He didn't want the same to happen again.
"Spike... I am bringing this with me. I want it to be safe with... my other friends in the alternate world." Twilight argued back,
"Suit yourself. Anyway, we have to meet up with the princess." Spike walked off. As Twilight began to fly away, Stone in hoof, she bumped into Rainbow Dash.
"Ow! Hey! Watch it! Oh, hey Twilight! Where are you going?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"I'm going to Canterlot, Dash. I'm meeting up with Celestia." Twilight replied,
"Oh, OK then. See you later?" Rainbow Dash said,
"Maybe, maybe not. I don't know." Twilight flew to Canterlot.

"I'm glad you came here as quickly as you could. The alternate world has found additional ways to get to and from Equestria. The cause is one of the inhabitants was able to open a portal to Equestria, because of an amount of remnants from your Element of Harmony. It was enough to make a portal to and from Equestria, so we need you, Twilight Sparkle, to close the portal, and stop destruction of Equestria." Celestia explained,
"I don't understand! I thought portals could only open once every thirty moons!" Twilight exclaimed,
"Not in this case. This certain inhabitant made it nearly impossible to close the portal. Only you, Princess Twilight, can stop the evil inhabitant and save Equestria, once and for all." Princess Celestia explained,
"Princess, I don't think I can do it. I've been there before, and even though I liked it, I had to be like a filly. I had to learn everything again, and I don't want to start over again." Twilight replied
"Sometimes, you have to do something that you would not like to do. Do you understand the difficulties of your task?" Celestia asked,
"I do, Princess Celestia." Twilight reponded. Princess Celestia walked to a tacky window. "That, Twilight Sparkle, will be entering the alternate world."
Twilight stepped into the portal.

Return to the Human World
She was feeling very transformed as soon as she stepped into the portal. She felt taller, leaner, and her front hooves changed to hands, and her bottom hooves turned to feet. She staggered to her feet as she stared at the high school. "Well... here I am... back in CHS. I hope everypo- everybody will still remember me." Twilight walked into the school's entrance.
As Twilight walked to the water fountain, Rainbow Dash looked up from the water fountain. "Twilight! Great to see you!"
"Is there any new-" Twilight was interrupted,
"Twilight's here!" Dash's scream made her friends come. "It's true?" Pinkie Pie said. "I can't believe you came back..." Fluttershy said. All while Twilight's friends were talking, Flash Sentry peered where Twilight was. "Twilight! You came back!" Flash said,
"Oh?" Twilight blushed,
"Why did you come here?" Dash asked,
"Princess Celestia sent me here. Is there a new student?" Twilight replied,
"Yeah. I think her name is Shaded Moon or something like that." Dash said,
"It's SHADING Moon, Dash." Applejack said.
A female, covered with a cloak, walked right past Twilight as they were talking. "Apparently, Shading Moon used the remnant of my Element of Harmony to open a portal to Equestria. We have to keep this." Twilight opened her hand

"This is... the Stone of Melody. It's similar to the Element of Harmony. I don't want Shading Moon to get her hands on this. I am trusting you to hold this, safely and securely."
"You can count on us!" Dash said,
"Okay, then." Twilight put the stone in Dash's hand. "First, I'll hold it..."
"Then me..." Fluttershy whispered...
"Then me, and I must admit, this stone looks RAVISHING..." Rarity said,
"Then me." Applejack said,
"And finally MEE! I'm so EXCITED!!!" Pinkie excitedly said. Twilight smiled. "I didn't think you would do this for me!" Twilight said.
For the first four days, Twilight's friends were able to handle the tasks, but when Pinkie was hopping to her locker, she dropped the Stone of Melody. "Finally..." Shading Moon muttered as she walked away.

This was one of the shortest chapters in this fanfiction. Writers block.

Flash Sentry is alive and well, and so is Shading Moon. The portal is open to anybody. Canterlot High is safe, for good.

Shading Moon's True Idenity
"Why did you drop it?!" Dash yelled,
"I don't KNOW! WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING AT ME?!" Pinkie screamed. While they were arguing, Twilight and Flash were sitting on the schoolyard. "I'm glad you came, Twilight." Flash blushed. Just then, Shading Moon walked to Flash, "You have lived far too long... Flash Sentry." Shade pulled out the Stone of Melody from her cloak pocket. "I finally have the power to deal with you." She placed the Stone on her forehead. When she did, her forehead cracked with blood, and her cloak flies off, revealing a white face and black hair. "It's time to die, Flash Sentry!" Shade shot a lazer from her hands, hitting Flash in the stomach. "Ungh! Flash fell to the ground, gashing blood. After fifteen seconds, Flash lied there, motionless.
"Flash! No!" Twilight stared at Shade. "You are a monster..." Twilight forced the stone out of the forehead of Shading Moon. Shading Moon then collapsed, knocked out. It was not the same for Flash. "Flash... why did you die? I have an idea..." Twilight kissed Flash. Flash opened his eyes.
