once there was a pony. his name was Earth Rainbow. he was a normal pony, just like any other. but one event changed his life forever...
He was walking down the street with his blue coat, rainbow tail, and blue and green hair, when he thought "what if there are other dimensions out there. and if there are, then how would i ge-" his thought chain was cut off as a wormhole opened next to him and sucked him away into a parrelel world. while he was falling between the dimensions, he gained knowledge about all the dimensions, how to get to them, what they actually are and which one he came from. he also gained the knowledge and thought processes of me, the author. he knew then what he must do. he must go and protect the dimensions from harm! and things that would see their downfall. he gained a tier 4 power to help him!
Earth Rainbow finally got into a new dimension. this one looked similar, but he just couldnt plac- "GET DOWN" shouted a voice. Earth Rainbow immediately ducked, narrowly dodging a magic bolt that went sailing 1 centimetre above his head. he looked around and saw a pegasi fighting with a unicorn. most likely the same unicorn that had almost killed him. after watching the battle for a few minutes, the pegasi finally won, having either killed the unicorn of knocked it unconscious (he couldnt tell which). the pegasi, which Earth noticed was a mare, walked over to him. "tough fight, that one" the mare paused for breath "I think I almost lost! names Flight by the way, Flight Thunder. I'm the leader of the pegasi flight squad delta." now that Flight was close, he could see she was wearing a charcoal black suit with her wings in a more flexible looking leather case. "my names Earth Rainbow, do you know what's going on here?" he asked. the mare looked at him in shock, as if he was an idiot before saying "do you have amnesia or something? were in the middle of a civil war! ever since the unicorns pushed other races out of Canterlot and took the royals prisoner, that's basic history around here. speaking of around here... why are you even out here? I thought all non-military pegasi were supposed to be in Cloudsdale or Las Pegasus?" Earth then proceeded to reply "yeah, I have no clue where I am, what has happened or why I`m here. I kinda fell through some sort of inter-dimensional portal and ended up being dumped here."
In Canterlot...
"we must destroy the evil pegasi and earth ponies, my lord, they have become a huge threat since we took over Canterlot"
"yes I agree, my loyal servant, but first let me consult with the master to ask him about it..."
The Unicorn that spoke first bowed his head, turned, and exited the room
"Master, what do you think we should do?"
A deep voice, deeper than the ocean, then spoke from seemingly nowhere and everywhere at the same time then spoke "we have been forced to use Operation: Lightning Night."
"you don`t mean..."
"you know exactly what I mean, Commander"
"but...but...but... we cant? can we?"
"you are the ones who control the capital, remember? your the ones who took it, snatched it right out of the unclean hooves of the others"
"but Operation: Lightning Night, it just seems so... well, unfair!"
"since when did you ever care about playing fair...?"
