Elder Titan, ancient progenitor to existence as we know it, has made a mistake in his ceaseless smithing of creation. Thrust through the jagged remnants of time and space, he awakens on a world he has never seen, but one he recognizes. Wherever he looks, bits and pieces of his ageless works catch his eyes – and he is horrified at the imperfection his mistake has wrought. Where there should be Order, there is Discord; where there should be Unity, there is Division. His agony sends him even further into despair, for he knows he can never right his wrongs.

That is, until he comes across the intelligent creatures of the land: the beings who, by luck and strife, are composed of fragments of the nobler things the Titan once forged. They are strange to him, yes, as is the whole world. But they are his children by thought and deserve better. Thus he sets out to find a way to mend the wounds of creation, to once again render whole a reality cracked and shattered. If in Equestra he can succeed, perhaps there is hope for the universe.
