Equestria's Dragon
Chapter II
Previous Chapter"I don't really like being watched..." I said only loud enough for Spike and Scare Wing to hear.
"That's how Ponyville is. Whenever something new happens, everyone just hides." Spike explained.
"Wow. This town is full of cowards." I said.
<><><>
"THIS is where you live?!" I said as I looked at a hollow tree with windows, doors, and anything else a house would have.
"Well, it's the best home in Ponyville! Or at least the most unique! It's also a libary!" Spike said all at once.
"Have you guys ever heard of fire hazard?" I said in awe.
"I think it's enchanted wood." Scare wing said as he inspected the wood.
"How do you know that?" I asked. " I dunno... I can just... Feel it." Scare replied.
"I thought Dragons couldn't use magic!" Spike declared.
"What do ya mean, Spike?" I asked Spike, confused.
"Well, only magic users can detect or EVEN feel magic!" Spike explained.
"Wait so I can use magic or something?" Scare asked, confused with the whole situation.
"I guess so? I could be wrong." Spike replied.
"Cool." Scare said in reply.
"Hey Spike, who else lives here?" I asked.
"My... Guardian I guess? Her name is Twilight Sparkle." Spike answered.
"Mmm." I replied.
<><><>
"Hit me."
Me and the Gang were playing blackjack.
I got a 7.
"Hit me." Scare said to Spike.
He was handed a card from a shuffled deck. A ten.
"Hit me." I said. I got a card. A seven.
Come on, Come on. Just one more 7!
"Hit me." Scare said. He got a 4.
"Hit me." Spike handed me a card. I slowly looked at it. It was an 8. "Fuc-" I was interrupted mid- sentence by the door opening.
At the door was a Purple Unicorn.
Then, 5 more Ponies walked in.
One with RAINBOW colored hair walked up to the purple Unicorn and whispered: "Is that him?" "Yes." The two said in their short conversation.
I looked at everyone else. White Unicorn, Yellow Pegasus, Orange regular pony, and a Pink regular one.
The White one and the Purple one grew an angry face, and lit their horns, and each launched one small ball of purple Aura, or magic since they were Unicorns, I guess. They collided in mid-air, forming a medium-sized ball. A foot before hitting me, the ball spread out across me, forming a transparent purple dome.
After 2 seconds, the dome seemed to get absorbed into my body. After that, I felt a little... Stronger.
All the new ponies looked surprised that I absorbed it.
"Was that magic or something?" I whispered to Spike and Scare as I leaned over to them.
"Yeah! That was a strong imprison spell!" Spike whispered back.
"Why did you shoot an imprison spell on me?" I asked the ponies.
"BECAUSE YOU ARE A GOOD FOR NOTHING GREEDY DRAGON!"
"What? Why would you assume I'm a bad Dragon?" I asked in Confusion.
They ignored my question, and all charged me. Expect that yellow one. She stayed put, scared.
All the ponies that charged at me bounced off when they hit me. The Orange one recovered from bouncing off of me, and bucked me. It felt like a punch that a 5 year old would give you.
"Can you guys stop?"
They continued their futile attempts to hurt me.
"Stop."
They kept going.
"STOP!" I roared, a little bit of flame drifting in my roar.
They finally stopped but were all still mad.
"Why were you attacking him!?" Spike cried out.
"..."
<><><>
It was nighttime at the Everfree forest. I laid down after the tiring day. I left Ponyville after "The Elements of Harmony" attacked me. How ironic. After Spike explained how I saved him, and that I was cool, they all tried to apologize and ask for forgiveness. I obviously said no. I was now camping near the edge of the forest with scare.
"Well. The crap sure went down, didn't it?" Scare said.
"Yeah... But how ironic. They are the Elements of Harmony, yet they showed opposite."
"Yeah."
"My life feels like a crappy drama show..." I sighed.
"Do you see that?" I asked Scare.
"See what?"
"That." I said as I pointed at a dim light deep in the forest.
"I'm gonna go look." I said bravely.
"Don't."
"I'm a 6 foot tall dragon. Top of the food chain?" I replied.
"Fine. Let's go."
<><><>
"This is a bad idea."
"No it's not." I replied. We were almost at the dim light, which was a light blue. I broke through the last tree branch.
<><><>
The last branch we broke through beheld a shiny, metallic, disk around 14 feet in diameter, which was hovering about a foot from the ground. It made a constant Hum. Small, blue, light bulbs were attached around the disk.
"What is this?" Scare pondered.
One thought came to my mind.
"UFO." I said softly.
"What?"
"Unidentified Flying Object." I replied.
"What does it do?"
"I...I don't know. It's Unidentified. They say it carries aliens." I said, feeling slightly scared.
Scare wing didn't say anything after my reply. I looked at him. He was... Staring. I shook his shoulder. No response. I looked toward what he was so fixated at.
I'll never forget what I saw. A pale, grey, 4 foot tall Humanoid figure stood there. It's eyes were pitch black. It looked at me.
SKKKRREEEEEE!!!
I covered my ears as my vision went black.
<><><>
"Uhhh." I groaned as I opened my eyes. I got up, and looked at the horizon. The sun was rising, signifying a new day.
The disk was gone, and the only evidence that it ever existed was a large, burnt circle. Scare was nowhere to be found. Also... I couldn't really remember much of last night. Everything after seeing a dim light is clouldy and unclear. I could remember that stupid disk though.
My body told me to get out of here. But why? All I felt was... Impending... Doom. I tried to flap my wings. They were extremely sore, like I flew across the Pacific ocean non-stop. I had to walk.
But which way to Ponyville?
The hell with that. I just have to get out of the area...
So I walked in the direction of a large castle on a mountain.
<><><>
While walking, I started to remember what happened. The 4 foot tall, grey figure. The UFO. I came to the only logical conclusion.
I had been abducted and experimented on. They must have kept Scare Wing.
But why? Had they accidently... killed him? It could be possible.
Nah... he's probably been dropped off somewhere else, and is still knocked out... I'll find him later.
My thought process was interrupted when I ran into something. It was a wall, and I had made a spider Web crack on it. A closer look revealed it was actually a roof access door, and I had ran into it's side.
Wait... why is a roof access door on ground level? Why is it in the middle of a dangerous forest?
I opened the door, and darkness awaited me. It was a good thing Dragons could see in the dark well, or I would have been like fuck it, especially after an Alien abduction. Rusty metal stairs led me down, and soon, I could see a door which led to an Office space, full of Office cubicles. I would question the weird layout of this building later.
I walked in, looking around. This place was old. It looked torn up, too. I could see old wires hanging from the ceiling, and some holes in the floor, which led to another office. I looked into a Office cubicle, and saw a Computer. It was still on, which was a surprise, since this place has been abandoned long enough for holes to form on the floor. I looked at the time on the Computer, which had an Insane date.
12/31/9999
What did it for me though, was the picture of a Man, and what I presume to be his wife and daughter, sitting on the desk, a nice, dusty frame keeping the photo in a nice condition.
<><><>
I had not woken up in a different Dimension. I had woken up in the distant future. What further evidence could I get? A buried Skyscraper, a old computer, which I did not see in the library, and a picture of a family.
A human family. I mean of all places, a library would have a computer!
I ditched the Office building once I heard echoing scurrying, which was getting louder. Fuck that shit. I continued my Journey, walking a bit faster to gain distance, because the sun was setting, and I did not want to be anywhere near the place of Abduction at night.
I was getting ready to lay down and sleep when the low growl of a creature grabbed my attention.
It was a Lizard thing, perhaps a Dragon, with three heads. Each head didn't look too happy. This fucker was 12 feet tall, twice my height. I had to defend myself.
So, I tried to muster the hottest fire I could, but instead of fire, I released a black stream of Plasma, hotter than the core of the fucking sun. The Dragon thing collapsed, only a thin layer of tissue holding the bottom and top of his body. The smell of burnt meat hit me soon afterwards.
My black Plasma started a reasonable fire, which this cursed forest quickly put out, and the trees I had damaged slowly started to regrow.
The fucking Aliens did this! But, hey, who am I to complain, that shit saved my ass a second ago.
<><><>
When I woke up the following morning, my wings were feeling fine enough to fly. After killing a hellish deer like creature, I tried to cook it with my Plasma breath. I went through half the corpse before being able to manipulate my powers to cook the meat.
With a full stomach, I set off to the mysterious city on the side of the mountain.
Nothing really interesting happened. I got there pretty quickly, since I did have a visual the entire time I walked.
However, trouble arose once I neared the city. Alarms. Of course. The ponies would sound the Alarm since I was nearby. I turned slightly to the left, and avoided the city.
<><><>
"Your Majesty, a Dragon has been spotted flying outside the city!" The Royal Servant said frantically.
"Hmm... Order all Citizens too stay indoors, immediately." I ordered.
"Yes, of course, Your highness!" The Servant said as she briskly trotted away.
I sighed. More trouble I didn't need. I looked outside the window of my office space, a stack of paper work sitting on my desk, waiting to be finished.
I saw my little ponies trot inside the nearest building, as that was standard procedure during emergencies like this. I hoped no action would have to be taken against this Dragon. I wondered if this was the same Dragon my Faithful student had wrote to me about. It was possible.
My thoughts were broken by a knock on my door.
"Come in."
It was the same servant from before.
"Your Majesty, the Dragon has passed the City, and is heading west." The Servant informed me.
"If the Dragon remains absent, sound the all clear signal." I said, my eyes never leaving the window.
"As you wish, Your Highness."
