Am I not important anymore?
Twilight and Sunset were sitting at the cafeteria alone, and enjoying some salad.
"What a coincidence, that our friends are busy on both worlds." Sunset chuckled.
"Yeah, I'm just as surprised as you are!" Twilight giggled.
"So, what are you planning on doing today?" Asked Sunset, taking a bite of a tomato.
"Oh, nothing much," Said Twilight. "Since my friend's are busy, and I have no studies, I have nothing planned."
"Me too, none of our teachers have given us homework," Sunset said. "quite strange."
Twilight smiled at Sunset, and Sunset smiled back. Twilight's eye's widen as she saw a girl sitting nearby them, She had brown hair, and Blue jacket, with blue jeans, green eye's and purple glasses. She reading the second chapter of the "Adventure's of Billy Joe" book series.
"Oh my goodness!" Said Twilight, placing her hands on her cheeks. "Is that the "Adventure's of Billy Joe" book? Chapter two?"
"Yes! It is!" The girl grinned, nodding her head.
"Are you beginning to read the stories now?" Asked Twilight, placing one of her fingers to her chin.
"No, I have read all ten chapters! I'm just reading the second one for the third time." The girl answered, grinning at Twilight.
"Me too! Are you a fan?" Twilight asked in excitement.
"Yes! You too?!"
"Yes! What's your favorite chapter?"
"Chapter nine! Billy was so generous to his friend, and it had the better pacing then the other books."
"Chapter nine is second favorite to me," Twilight chuckled. "my favorite was Chapter seven."
"That was a good one, too!"
"I have never seen anyone who loves the book series just like me!"
"Me neither! Want to be friends?"
"Of course!" Twilight grinned, hugging the girl and laughing.
"I'm Amanda, by the way." Amanda grinned. "What is your name?"
"I'm Twilight Sparkle," Said Twilight. "Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you, too!"
"Wow, you two sure seem to have something in common," Sunset chuckled.
"Yeah! I've never seen anyone fan over this book series like Twilight." Said Amanda.''
"Yeah! Me too." Said Twilight.
"Well, that's nice," Sunset grinned. "So, Twilight, what should we do?"
"Let's hang out with Amanda, she seem's pretty cool," Twilight said.
"Heh, thanks." Amanda blushed.
"Oh, uh I'll cheek out if any of our friend's arenmt busy," Sunset nervously chuckled.
"Alright, I'll talk with Amanda." Said Twilight, turning to Amanda.
Later that day, Sunset sat outside the school, while drinking her favorite soda. Sunset saw her friend's coming towards her and waving hello.
"Hey." Said Sunset, waving back at them.
"Howdy Sunset," Applejack grinned. "Watcha doing here?"
"Nothing," Sunset sighed.
"Let's go to that place where we usually drink our smoothies?" Asked Rarity. "I think it could be a nice place to relax."
"Your right, Rarity!" Said Pinkie. "We should go there!"
"What do you say Sunset? Should we go?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
"Sure." Sunset smiled, she stood up and followed the girls.
At the cafeteria, Sunset Shimmer was doing her usual homework in the cafeteria. While The girls were blabbering about a party Pinkie Pie is hosting, Sunset Shimmer paid no attention to the girls.
"Hey Sunset," Said Rainbow Dash. "What is you're type of favorite flavor?"
As Rainbow asked that question, no respond came. Rainbow Raised an eyebrow as Sunset wasn't paying any attention to her.
"Uh, Sunset Shimmer?"
"Huh? Yes, Rainbow Dash?" Said Sunset, finally being aware of Rainbow next to her.
"Are you okay? You haven't been talking to us all morning."
"Y..Yeah, It's fine," Sunset grinned. "I just have a lot of things on mind, I'm alright."
"Well, If you say so'." Said Applejack, taking a bite from her juicy, red apple.
"So, about my question-" Said Rainbow Dash. "So, what is you're favorite flavor?"
"I like strawberry." Sunset chuckled. "Always been a favorite of mine."
Suddenly Sunset's eyes widen, she froze for a second, and started to look in her book.
"Sunset, Is everything alright dear?" Asked Rarity, noticing Sunset's strange behavior.
"I'm fine! It's nothing!" Sunset shouted, closing her book and shoving it in her bag. "What are you guys even talking about?"
The girls looked at each other strangely, worried about Sunset's sudden aggressive behavior.
"We're discussing about Pinkie's next party." Whispered Fluttershy.
"Alright then," Sunset sighed. "What kind of party is it?"
"Just a small party for mah' cousin, who is moving in town this week." Applejack grinned. "She'll be coming to our school!"
"Sounds nice, Applejack." Sunset said. "Strawberry is Twilight's favorite flavor too..."
All five girls stared at Sunset, they looked at each other with concern. "Sunset, Is something wrong?" Asked Rarity.
"No! I said I'm fine." Sunset barked. "Just leave me be!"
"Where is Twilight, anyway?" Asked Pinkie Pie.
Sunset rolled her eyes, and groaned. "Probably still hanging out with that new girl." She sighed. "They both sure do love the "Adventure of Billy Joe" series."
The girls chuckled and Rarity raised her eyebrow and smirked. "I see what's going on, dear."
"Wait, huh...?" Sunset stared with confusion.
"Your just jelou-"
Before Rarity even finished, Sunset placed her hand onto Rarity's mouth. "N-No, I'm not!"
Sunset grabbed her backpack. "I'll.. I'll talk to Twilight." With that, Sunset exited the small restaurant where they were in, without even letting any of her friends to say anything.
Sunset ran back to the cafeteria, where Twilight was still sitting with Amanda. Sunset quickly ran to Twilight. "Twilight..? Can we speak, alone?" Sunset asked.
"Be right back, Amanda." Twilight said, moving to a corner with Sunset. "Hmm, what is it..?"
"We have to talk," Replied Sunset, twirling her hair from nervousness. "you see, You have been hanging out with this girl a lot and-"
"And your what? Jealous?"
"N-Not really Jealous, I just feel like you like her better then me..." Whimpered Sunset. "You two have more in common, then you have with me... and, I don't feel important anymore..."
"Oh, Sunset..." Twilight softly smiled, she gently picked up Sunset by her chin and gave a little kiss to her. "Sunset, just because I'm hanging out with another person, doesn't mean your not important to me anymore! There's nothing bad about hanging out with other friends and making new ones. You don't have to feel forgotten or jealous, Sunset. You still have your other friends."
"Your right." Sunset blushed. "I suppose I did get carried away..."
They both chuckled. "Sorry, I made you feel that way." Said Twilight.
"It's alright." Said Sunset. "Now go back to your nee friend!"
"Want to join us? I bet you'll like this book series too!"
"Alright." Sunset grinned, and followed Twilight.
