Rainbow Dash came in for a rough landing on the cloud. She was panting heavily, her coat was covered in sweat, and her shaking legs supported her only a moment longer before she collapsed onto her side. Her belly gave an angry rumbling, causing her to wince. “Okay…” she muttered to herself, “skipping breakfast so I could fly light, not the best idea…” She had had an all day training regime planned for today and had woken up early to get started on it, but now, only two hours in, she was already completely exhausted. She needed something to eat, anything to put some energy back in her system.

She noticed some movement on the ground out the corner of her eye. She looked down to the Whitetail Woods below and saw a pony all alone on one of the paths. Her eyes widened. A pony was exactly the kind of pick me up she needed! She rolled over onto her front to get a better look. She recognized the pony down there; it was one of those mares who ran the flower shop in Ponyville, Roseluck. A grin spread across Rainbow's face. That was perfect! Earth ponies were much more nutritious and energy packed than pegasi or unicorns! She scrambled to her hooves, the promise of food giving her a boost of energy, and licked her lips before leaping off the cloud. She darted down towards the unsuspecting mare and, just before reaching her, backwinged to slow her descent and came to a soft landing right beside her.

Roseluck, hearing the flapping of wings, turned around to see who it was. “Oh!” she said, slightly surprised, “Hello, Rainbow Dash!”

Rainbow put on her best smile. “Hey... Roseluck…” She said between panting breaths.

Roseluck quickly took on a concerned look. “Are you okay, Rainbow? You look like you're really out of it!”

Rainbow gave a small chuckle. “That's because I am! I had this big, major training regime planned for today, and decided to skip breakfast so I could fly light, but... Well, it turns out that wasn't the best idea.” Her stomach chose that moment to give another angry rumble, accentuating her point. “I gotta get something in my stomach or I'm gonna pass out, so... Roseluck, could I eat you?”

Roseluck brought a hoof to her chin. “I probably would give you all the energy you'd need for the rest of the day, wouldn't I?” She stood there thinking only a few moments longer before smiling back at Rainbow. “Alright, sure!”

Rainbows face lit up. “Seriously? Thanks a ton, Roseluck, you're a real life saver!” she said, then opened her mouth wide and lunged forward.

In the blink of an eye, Rainbow had engulfed Roseluck's entire head. The flower mare jerked backwards slightly in surprise, but once she realized what had happened, she instead pushed forward. She even lifted her forehooves up, which Rainbow eagerly grabbed and shoved into her maw alongside Roseluck's head. Rainbow wasted only a moment savoring her flavor before she gave a tremendous, loud GULP, pulling the other mare’s head and forehooves down into her throat, bulging her neck out.

Rainbow usually liked taking her time whenever she ate a pony, but today she was just too hungry to wait. She grabbed Roseluck’s body with her hooves and began shoving her down her throat, which combined with powerful swallows that pulled her down inches at a time, caused her stomach to quickly bulge outwards as it filled up with the pony. She couldn’t help but moan in satisfaction at her empty belly finally being filled, causing her throat to vibrate around her meal. In no time at all she had reached Roseluck's backside. She lifted the mare’s hindquarters up into the air as she sat back on her haunches to more easily suck the rest of the pony down her gullet. Roseluck’s cutie mark rapidly disappeared, and her legs and tail were slurped up only seconds later. A few more swallows cleared her throat, and Rainbow let out a satisfied sigh.

“Wow!” Roseluck said from inside Dash’s belly. “I’ve never seen anypony eat another pony that quickly before! You really were hungry!”

“Yeah, I was,” Rainbow said as she rubbed her engorged gut, the form of her meal distinguishable through the stretched skin, “but you really hit the spot, Roseluck! Thanks for the meal!”

“No problem, Rainbow!” the mare replied, her voice muffled through the layer of flesh between them. “But I don’t want you letting me go to waste, so you better get back to your training!”

“Ha! No worries there!” Rainbow said as she got back to her hooves, the pony shaped lump in her gut hanging down just above her knees. A competitive grin spread across her face. “I’m gonna burn you off faster than my stomach can melt you down!” A leap and a flap of her wings and she lifted up into the air again. As expected, flying was more difficult with an entire pony in her stomach, but her grin only grew wider. It would be just like flying with weights! Weights that gave you a constant flow of energy to keep you going! She darted up into the sky to continue her training.

The sun now on the opposite side of the sky, Rainbow Dash landed on a cloud. She was panting heavily and her coat was drenched in sweat, but unlike before she stood tall and still had a smile on her face. “Alright!” she said while panting, “just another few hours to go!” She looked down at her gut, which had become much rounder and smaller, but was still noticeably large. “I never would have been able to make it through today without you, Roseluck!” she said as she patted her belly. This time however, the only response she received was a loud gurgling noise. Rainbow gave a sharp nod of her head. “Right, we’re not quite done yet!” she said, then leapt back up into the sky to finish her training for the day. She couldn’t help but marvel at just how effective training while a pony gurgled away in her stomach was. She was going to have to do this more often...

Some of you may find this little plot familiar. That's because it was directly inspired by a comic by SkyLark on Eka's Portal. That little comic sent me into a big willing fatal vore kick, which in turn spawned this and a number of other shorts that will follow.
