This story is canon with the universe of the Caridoon Project

Be aware that this fic takes place directly after the events of Applejacked. If you haven't read that already, do so before starting on this one. Otherwise, a lot of things won't make sense

When Celestia freed Applejack from the monstrous Duneyrr, a pony she is ashamed to call her brother, her Alicorn Magic was trapped in the very room she'd gotten Applejack from, becoming bound to it by the countless horns Duneyrr removed from female unicorns over the ages.

However, she is not defencless. Her magic is sentient enough to know it has to find a way to fight back, to cripple Duneyrr's plans for their kingdom anyway she can.

Two unlikely heroes are whom she calls upon to aid her in her mission: Rutt and Tuke.

However, when Rutt and Tuke learn of what Duneyrr has planned for Luna, Celestia's mission becomes to save her sister from a fate worse than her banishment had ever been.
