the conversion Bureau: your human and you
earth 2101
commander Akira, current leader of the PHL, walked with a confidence he had not had for years. to his left was the love of his life, stealth bomber, a mottled brown pegasus with a picture of a grenade blowing up a group of undetermined ponies, and their son, trouble. the satyr had had few problems adapting to the harsh reality of the war, but he quickly adapted. it saddened him to have to put his child out on the front lines, but he had volunteered.
to his right stood his best friends, Tetsuo and Shotaro. they had stood by his side for almost a decade, fighting the equestrian menace. they were brought over from the remains of Japan, and they quickly developed into stalwart soldiers, dedicated to bringing down Celestia and her armies.
behind him stood almost the entirety of the PHL, almost 10,000 troops. it was comprised of mostly humans, but there were at least a thousand ponies, griffons, diamond dogs, and minotaurs. there were even a couple of dragons. every one of them was equipped with runicly enhanced weaponry and armor.
in front of them, was the canterlot castle throne room. Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight Sparkle, the four princesses, and the elements of harmony, were in there, sans Pinkie Pie, who had disappeared off the face of both planets. most of the guards, including Shining Armor, had been subdued, but at the insistence of stealth, they had not been executed, but were going to be used as bargaining chips, should things go south.
there was a 98% chance that thing would go that way. letting loose a breath he didn't know he was holding in, he walked forward, and pushed the doors open.
way, way over on the other side of the equestrian multiverse.
princess Celestia gasped awake, and shook herself out of the covers.
"holy crap. what was that?" her horn flashed and a bottle of bourbon and a cup appeared in front of her. she rarely drank, but now was a good time. that dream- no. it wasn't a dream. it was a vision. her horn glowed again, except this time she had a piece of parchment, a quill and a inkwell. not wasting any time, she started writing to Twilight.
"Dear princess Twilight... urgent need... your friends... look for strange occurrences near ponyville... truly yours, Celestia." finishing up, she sent it off with a poof of light, and smiled. her faithful student turned princess would figure this out.
the everfree.
a boom tube opened up and a pink pony walked out. her steps were quiet, decisive. her normally poofy hair had been straightened, and a long, jagged scar ran down her face, running over her left eye. her ears twitched with every movement she made, trying to find any possible dangers. her head swirled around, as if she was trying to find something.
two other ponies, a unicorn and another earth pony followed her out of the portal. they both had huge, virtually uncompromising smiles on their faces, and a glazed over look in their eyes that made you want to avoid them at all costs. "where are we going, milady?"
the pink pony glanced over and said in a firm, yet somehow jovial, voice, "we're going to the mirror pool, silly! there we'll make clones upon clones of you, and take over the world again!"
a look of confusion flashed across the earth pony newfoals face. "but didn't princess Twilight tell you that the mirror pool was dangerous?"
in one swift movement, pinkie pie slapped the newfoal so hard he lost a tooth. "never tell me what's dangerous and what isn't! you're just a dirty newfoal! i'm better than you!" she turned around and started walking again. "now come on. we have to get where we're going before anypony notices us!"
the other equestria: canterlot penitentary
"This is unbelievable! at first, the portal could only be opened by all four alicorns working in tandem, and was self sustaining at the cost of causing massive magical radiation, but now, with what you brought, what was it called, mister Tetsuo?"
"An overclocked static generator."
"Yeah one of those. with that, we can open the portal with even a mediocre unicorns magic, and it doesn't have the massive radiation burst! This is amazing!" Twilight Sparkle, in full mad scientist mode, was jumping around sqeeing like a piglet.
"great. fine. can we get this over with? I don't want to be here anymore than you do."
Twilight stopped and looked at him. he was obviously still just a colt, probably just barely out of his first year of high school.
"I didn't spend much time in high school. I was in a gang." she raised an eyebrow. he didn't go to school? then how did he know all that stuff? how was he able to help her with all this? this was pretty advanced stuff.
"I worked on my bike all the time. it was probably one'a the fastest bike in all of Tokyo. I had to be a genius to be able to outrun all of those newfoals."
"I didn't like them either, you know." Tetsuo raised an eyebrow. "they frightened me. I helped develop the potion, but I instantly regretted it." her ears were plastered against her head, and she looked down like she was a puppy that had gotten a scolding. "I'm sorry."
"whatever."
