The Beginning of a Problem

I woke up feeling sick that day. "Welp, looks like I can't go to work today, again!" I got up to my hooves, my wings outstretched as I did my usual morning stretches. I went out the door to my room, into the main area, and into the kitchen. I started to fix muffins like I did when I felt sick. Baking always made me feel better, but I felt a pain in my abdomen.

"Great! Is it that time of month again!? I swear this cramps are gonna kill me!" I say to myself as I pull out my fresh muffins. Lemon surprise with a side of noodle soup. Doc had women up and came to see me at the table wrapped up in a blanket eating muffins and soup.

"Well, somepony seems ill today," he said, grabbing one of the untouched muffins from the tray.

"Gee, was it that obvious?" I said sarcastically. When I had my weeks, I got a bit cranky, especially when I'm sick.

"Oh...and that?" he said, as if it was a common thing. "Well, I hope that you get well soon Miss. Hooves. I'll be at the control panel if you need me." He then left me to my soup.

"Well, least it'll be over soon. Ah my hooves are cramping up too!" I said, feeling a sharp pain in my forehooves. My back ached, too. Everything ached.

"Ugh! I gotta take a nap," I said, getting up and going back to bed.

"Derpy! Are you okay! Derpy answer me!!" Doctor was yelling at me, shaking me vigorously.

"Wha? Yea. I'm fine. Why?" I said, realizing my aches and pains were gone. I stood up to go check the time, but Doctor never moved from his spot. He looked terrified, as if he'd just seen a dalek cyberpony hybrid.

"What's gotten into you?" I asked.

"Um...look for yourself," he said, giving me a mirror.

"So what? I look the same!" I say, seeing my muzzle and cross crossed eyes hadn't changed. My mane was the same as always and my ears were still in tact.

"Ugh...clap your hooves together!" Doc said.

"Fine, I don't see what the...big...GAH!!" I said as I realized my hooves weren't hooves anymore.

"I told you Derpy!!"

"Well, what do I do!" I exclaimed.

"I don't know!" Doc said.

"Well help me! What did this!?"

"Maybe it was that special dish you ordered at the cafe on the planet Yallikin. It seems that's the last thing you ate besides soup and muffins this morning."

"The Redherea Talican thing? Yea, it did seem weird didn't it?"

"Yea that. I think that's what made you turn into...er...this," Doc said, motioning at my entire figure. I looked and quickly questioned the attire I was wearing. My chest, or what I assumed was a chest, poked out and had a tight fitting strip of fabric over it. My underside had a similar piece of fabric with an extra curved strip going between my legs. Both pieces were navy blue with white stripes. The tops had no straps and was only supported by the weird lumps. They were small and, after I noticed them, started to hurt due to the sheet tightness of them.

"Da heck am I wearing?"

"Um...a bikini I assume. At least the transformation was generous enough to do that," Doc said.

"Generous? What do you mean, pointed are usually naked, so why the clothes?"

"You're not a pony anymore Derpy. You have parts that are...inappropriate to show. Especially around a stallion like me unless it's for a specific purpose," he said, starting to blush of embarrassment. It didn't take long to understand.

"Ooooh...Doctor? Why are you blushing?"

"Oh..uhmm..it's awkward for me to now have to teach you how to walk like you did me," he said.

"Uuuhhuuuuh..." I said, rolling my eyes at him. I stood up, now at least three feet taller than him. My legs were wobbly as I fell to all fours.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Doc snapped.

"It means I don't believe you!"

"Well then...I guess you may have been or may not have been right," he said, the red never leaving his cheeks.

"Well, help me get on my hooves!" I said.

"Ok ok. Hold my hoof and push yourself up. Try to maintain balance, use your wings if you need to," he said. He was calm and patient with me as I learned to walk.

"Oh geez...this is how you felt two years ago, wasn't it?"

"Yep. It was. Now, can you fly?"

"I think so." I flapped my wings as I lifted off the ground. "Yea, still got it!" I said.

"Excellent! Now hold still for a minute," Doc said and he proceeded to run his sonic over me to scan me. "Mmhmm...yea, this is great news!"

"What is it Doctor!?"

"It says you will recover within a day or two. Just be careful not to leave to TARDIS, alright?" he asked.

"Understood," I said.
