The dream

Fluttershy was running. All she was doing was running. She saw nothing, has no idea were she's going. All she knew is that she had to get away from something. Fluttershy looked up and saw the moon. But it wasn't its beautiful white self, it was red, blood red. Fluttershy tore her eyes away from the moon, fearing it. Once she looked down, she immediately regretted it.

Fluttershy skidded to a halt, in front of her were her friends, there face's were emotionless, there smiles dead and creepy.

"Girls? Is that you?" She carefully took one step closer to them.

"Fluttershy. Fluttershy. Fluttershy is gonna die," all of them chanted this. Fluttershy instantly steeped back, terror grabbed her heart. Her mouth was wide open, frozen in fear, she couldn't move. They all came forward, still chanting her death. Fluttershy's mouth was still agape, she curdled up in a quivering ball.

"No! No, please don't!" she said meekly and full of terror.

Ignoring her plea, the tread forward. Stopping a short distance from Fluttershy, the grew quiet. Fluttershy looked up to see if they were still there. Twilight hunged over her, looking down at her, the same face and smile still there.

Twilight opened her mouth, "It was you. You killed us all," she said, no emotion in her voice, the smile still there, "Now... It's your turn," Twilight lunged at Fluttershy. Right when she was going to make contact, everything went black.

The scene faded away. Fluttershy found herself in Ponyville, backed up against a wall. All the ponies in Ponyvillie were looking at her, some were holding up pitch forks, others torches. The angry mob moved toward Fluttershy, shouting comments like,

"It was her!"

"Burn her!"

"Death is the only way!"

"She killed them! She killed them!"

"She's a monster!"

The angry shouts continued. Curling up into a ball once more, Fluttershy denied every one of their accusations.

"It wasn't me!" she screamed, "I didn't do it!"

Striding out of the angry mob, Spike called loudly to Fluttershy. She looked up at the baby dragon, fresh tears running down his cheeks, anger blazing in his eyes. The mob washed away, and they were suddenly in Twilight's castle.

"Spike. I -"

"You killed her," Spike said.

"No! I -"

"YOU KILLED TWILIGHT!" He shouted, "You killed all of them!" He growled, hatred dripping in every word.

Fluttershy cringed, "I - I didn't! Please, I didn't kill Twilight or the others! I -"

"NO!" He shouted, "No more denying it! You did! And you have to pay!" He yelled, "You killed them all! Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie, Rainbow, Apple Jack, you killed them all!" he said, accusing the trembling Pegasus.

"No..." She said, tearing up.

"And the only way to repay the crime is to kill you!" He yelled. Snarling in rage, he lunged at her.

"NO!" Fluttershy sat straight up, almost falling out of bed. She steaded herself, breathing quikly, sweat running down her face. She looked out the window. Celestia's sun was rising. She took a deep brearth to calm her rapid breathing, She wiped her face, getting rid of most of the sweat. The birds out side were singing. Fluttershy smiled, but it quickly went away. She sat there for a moment, listening to the birds song, hoping for it to cheer her up. She eventually felt like it was a lose cause and got up.

Fluttershy looked at herself in the mirror as she walked by it. She looked like a mess. Her mane was sticking up in weird ways, no doubt from thrashing around at night. Fluttershy grabbed a brush somehow and began to comb it. It was normally relaxing, with the birds singing, and the light flooding into the room. It was her favroite part of the day. Today though, it did not improve her mood. Her mind was still on the dream she woke up to.

It troubled her. It wasn't the first time she had it, she's been having it a lot recently. She didn't know why, and she hasn't told anypony or animal about it, especially her friends. How could she? Fluttershy would have a heart attack if one of her friends said, 'hey! I killed you in my dream last night!'. No, that wouldn't do. So she quietly kept it to herself, afraid of what she would do whenever she saw her friends. Her thoughts were interrupted by a banging down stairs.

Fluttershy nearly dropped the brush,  she quickly yelled "Coming!" and put the brush down. She didn't realize how deep in thought she was.

She flew down the stairs and opened her door. On the other side was Twilight. Fluttershy nearly screamed, but she quickly stopped herself, screaming on the inside, her heart beating fast.

"Twilight? What are you doing here so early?" Fluttershy asked a little to quickly.

Twilight didn't notice it, "I need you help. Now," Twilight said, "I need all of you girls help,"

"All of us?" Fluttershy stepped out, seeing Rarity and Pinkie Pie outside. Spike was on Twilight's back, not looking to happy about being up so early.

"Yes. I need to get Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack, but I need all five of your guys help," Twilight said.

"Ugh, why couldn't this wait till the afternoon?" Spike said.

"Spike, if Twilight needs our help, were glad to help," Rarity said. Pinkie nodded in agreement.

"Yeah! If Twilight needs our help, we'll always be there!" Pinkie said, hoping up and down. Spike just groaned in reply.

Fluttershy stood at her door. Her heart was still beating fast. She was terrified, at any moment her dream could become a reality. Sure, it was just a dream, it couldn't really happen. But, who knows? Anything can happen in Equestria. She quickly thought of an excuse,  "um. I haven't fed my animals today, so I really can't -"

"Oh, Spike can watch them for you," Twilight said. Spike perked up at this, quickly standing up on Twilight's back.

"I can?" He asked.

"Of course! You've done it before," Twilight said, "aren't you an expert in animal care taking?" She said.

This scared Fluttershy even more. She trusted Spike just fine, he's taken care of her animals before. But, if all six of them are going somewhere by them self, and Spike was alive in her dream, he had to be somewhere else.

"Oh, um. Are you sure? I could always stay -"

"No! I need all of you!" Twilight said, focusing on Fluttershy, "I'm sure Spike can handle it! He's done it before, and you friends were all well, so why can't he now?"

Fluttershy had to think of a way to lie. She really, really didn't want to talk about her dream. She deiced to dodge the question, "What are we doing anyways?" she asked, walking out of her door way toward Twilight.

Twilight raised a eyebrow. She wasn't expecting that response, "Well... Luna requested us to a meeting in Canterlot with all of us," she said, "That doesn't answer my question, though,"

"Why? What did she want the meeting for?" Fluttershy ignored the last part, felling guilty for doing so.

Twilight sighed, she knew what Fluttershy was doing, she didn't know why, but she didn't press her anymore, "I'm not sure. But if she needs all of us, she needs all of us," Twilight said.

"I'm sure Luna has a good reason," Rarity said, "Though, you never said when she wanted to met us,"

"That's just it, she didn't say a specific time. She said before sundown today, so I just decided why not morning? It gives us all day," Twilight said, "please, Fluttershy? You have to come! I'm sure Spike we'll take good care of your animals," she added.

Fluttershy bit her lip. She trusted Spike fine, its just that, she didn't trust herself. Wait a second, she said Luna... Perfect! I can ask her! She'll know what it's about! Fluttershy thought. She made her mind.

"Oh, alright, I'll come. Are you sure you'll be fine Spike?" Fluttershy asked, she already knew the answer, but she deiced to ask anyways.

Spike looked at her, he rose an eyebrow, "Of course. I can handle those furry little guys anytime," he said, standing on Twilight's back doing a heroic pose. Rarity rolled her eyes.

"I thought just a minute ago you didn't want to," Rarity said.

"I, uh, I was joking!" Spike said, breaking his pose, a blush appearing on his face, "don't worry Fluttershy, I'll take good care of them," he said. Spike jumped off Twilights back, "you guys just do your thing, I'll be fine," He started walking towards Fluttershys door. He closed it, and imedatly after he opened it up again, "um... Were's the food at?" he asked.

After getting Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack, they were off to Canterlot, Rainbow not being to happy.

"Why did it have to be morning?" Rainbow complained during the train ride to Canterlot, "Luna said before sundown, so we could have waited," she continued. Apple Jack rolled her eyes.

"It's not to bad, sugercube," Apple Jack said.

"Says the pony who gets up early every morning!" Rainbow augured, flying up out of her seat.

"You could to, but your to lazy to!"

"To lazy? Why, I can't believe my friend called me lazy!"

"Girls, that enough!" Rarity stopped the argument, "Honestly Rainbow Dash, are you going to be this grumpy to the Princess?" she said. Rainbow grumbled to the question. She flew back down to her seat, sitting down and looking outside, an aggravated look on her face.

"I can't believe were seeing the princess again! Maybe it has to do with dreams," Pinkie said, jumping up and down, "I mean, that's what it was with the Tantabus," she added.

"I rather want to forget about that," Apple Jack said. Everypony nodded in agreement, even Rainbow Dash did.

"I don't know what Luna want to talk to us about, but I bet its important," Twilight said, "We'll just have to wait and see."

Fluttershy wasn't really listening. She was intent to ask Luna about her dream. Maybe that's what she called them upon, maybe the others had similar dreams. For now, they just had to wait. Canterlot was coming into view, and Luna was waiting.
