Prologue: Coming to Ponyville

My Name is Xavier, God I hate my life, or...At least I used too. You see, not so long ago my life was absolutely miserable, until the unimaginable happened, coming to Ponyville...yeah that's right I said Ponyville. But hey you're not here to listen to me talk about how crappy my life was right? Well, every story starts somewhere. So sit back, relax. Come along for the ride, because this....Is my story.

It all started back when I was your everyday, ordinary twenty year old graduating from high school, getting a job, meeting the love of my life, and eventually having a kid. Nobody told me how hard being a parent would be, if I had known it consisted of changing diapers and waking up at one in the morning checking on the baby. I wouldn't have been so eager to become a dad, ah who am I kidding, I probably would've still wanted a kid anyways.

Ten years later there I am, sitting on my bed drinking a beer, as you can clearly see. And this my friends, is where the story really begins. So sit back and enjoy the ride. Like I said about one or two paragraphs ago...

Xavier laid there on his bed, watching his favorite show, UFC fighting, drinking a scotch and wearing a blank white tank top, and dark blue jeans inside of a house in the countryside, He was a average weight, muscular man. His hair color was a darker shade of blonde, a slim trimmed goatee with a decent color of tan on his body. His house was about thirty minutes to an hour from any gas stations or stores, Grabbing his remote in his left hand that wasn't holding the glass of scotch. He turned down the volume upon hearing his son Jacob. Laughing extremely loudly at the television screen. Muttering a bit he sets down the scotch in his right hand on the bed rest next to his bed.

Slowly his feet started treading down the staircase to see what his son was watching, he stops upon seeing his ten year old son watching a show called My Little Pony Friendship is magic. Something he was not happy to see in the slightest and so he spoke in a loud, demanding voice towards his son. That startled his son Jacob quite badly.

"Turn that show off right now, you know I don't approve of you watching this kind of girly stuff" he scoffed.

Jacob did intact quickly turn off the television, not wanting to see his dad's wrath if he disobeyed him. The last time he disobeyed him was with some back-sass talking and resulted in him getting grounded for a week straight, not to mention a lot of very calm, scary calm talking coming from him.

This got Xavier's wife to stand up and stare at her husband. She wasn't impressed to say the least, although she didn't approve of the show herself at first. But when she sat down to watch it with Jacob, she had to admit it was very educational about friendship and how you should act towards your friends. And so she spoke with disappointment in her voice.

"Xavier, the kid loves the show and after I sat down and watched a few episodes with him I have to say it's actually a really, really good television. It teaches kid's moral lessons and-"

She was interrupted though with Xavier's hand lifting up and telling his wife to remain quiet for a few moments. Xavier had never done this to her except when he wasn't in the mood to talk after a bad day of work. Which usually consists of working with a few partners of his on the farm. Some partners being rather irritating or rude.

"Trish, look. I know he's just a kid but he needs to man up and watch actual shows for the actual gender of his age. I will not tolerate this kind of behavior"

This got his wife to shake her head in annoyance at him. After five years of raising Jacob together, Xavier had changed drastically and not for the best of wear either. Soon enough a fight began to break out between the two of them, resulting in a divorce a few months later. Even though Xavier begged her not to go. Trish had left anyways, Xavier had become a controllable father and husband to the point where she couldn't take it anymore. His depression began to sink every single day with them gone, he felt like he was slowly falling into a dark pit with no way out, no light, no anything to pull him back out. He was...lost to say the least.

Another three months passed, it was nearing Xavier's Thirty First birthday and his family still hasn't agreed to meet up with him until he got his controllable nature under control. Resulting in even more fights over the phone.

It was one evening where he was browsing the internet is when he came across the most interesting thing, a brony. But he had no clue in the slightest who or what he was, yet he proceeded to talk with him, get to know him. Eventually agreeing to meet up together at a place called Bronycon in another state. He had no clue what Bronycon meant, what it was. Or what to bring.

When he finally arrived he couldn't believe his eyes in the slightest at what he was seeing, it became so uncomfortable for him that he left in the fastest way possible.

Yet later that night in his apartment complex, he stares at his television, turning it on and even switching to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, where he watched the very first two episodes that aired. Then he felt something when the credits rolled, a tear, a single shed of a tear that began to burst into more tears, not of happiness but of sadness.

"Why am I crying over a stupid kid's show...a show made for girls, kids..."

Xavier was beyond frustrated now. As he slowly stood up from his sofa. Walking over to the nearest wall he punched it with all his might, cracking it and breaking a couple knuckles while he was at it too. Yet his sadness, his depression made him easily ignore it. Though he felt it a few minutes later. Making him wince in pain, but he still did his best to ignore the pain that was swelling in his hand.

"Forget it, I am heading to bed"

Muttering to himself. Retreating to his room, where again he cried even more. Yet refused to face the fact he was wrong about the show, and that he was the cause alone for his family leaving. But when he actually went to sleep. He began to have nightmares. Terrible ones, then the strangest thing happened. A blue light, aura even surrounding him in his nightmare and soon enough, his nightmares vanished. Upon looking up he noticed something, yet at the same-time could not make out who that figure was. But it was slightly shorter than him, had it's voice disguised and spoke in some sort of old language. Something he would've heard from movies placed in the medieval times.

"I have watched thee with my own sister young Xavier. For many years and months ago. Thou' dost' not know the true meaning of friendship. Nor dost' thou' knoweth true happiness. Seeking both of those, yet thou' is soaking in thy' own self pity? Nigh says I"

She spoke this in her own strange language. Her light still blinding Xavier to the point where he cannot see her face. And he could most definitely not make out her voice either. After all he has not watched the show enough to know it was Princess Luna, offering something that she and her sister discussed for those years and months as she just said.

"We will maketh thou' a deal. Spendeth a month in our world and discover true friendship and happiness and we will return thee to thy own world. If thou' cannot find friendship and happiness within our world. Then we shall never bother thee again, what say you Xavier" she responded.

This threw him way off guard, who was she, what was she. How did she know his name, and as he opened his mouth to reply, Luna responded for him. As she knew what he was going to say was one of negativity.

"Splendid, when thou' awakens. You will findeth yourself in a world you will not recognize at first. But giveth' time, thou' will come to realize where thouest' is. Fare thee well, Xavier."

With that she touched her horn against his forehead. Leaving him there drifting through a night sky in his dream, that felt like he was actually drifting along. Soon enough he feels massive force pushing against him, shooting across the sky like a shooting star. In-fact exactly like a shooting star, it nearly almost wakes him up. The feeling felt so real. But he knew this was a dream, he hoped this was a dream at least.

The several hours pass, ponies wandering all around Ponyville, Xavier being asleep right in the middle of the road as well. That a stallion, listening to music on some headphones, doesn't even notice Xavier. Thus resulting in that hoof stepping right onto his left hand. Which causes Xavier to bolt wide awake with a blood curdling, painful scream in his voice.

Then he stops in the middle of his scream, when an all too familiar Pink Pony gets right up in his face.

"Oooo! Don't think I've ever seen you before, then again I've never really seen one of you thing's before. OH! OH! maybe your a really, really, REALLY tall hairless pony that walks on two legs, hm wait a second I don't know your muzzle is really, really short. Nah you're definitely not a pony, hehehe I should know because I've met all sorts of creatures!"

This got Xavier to be mighty uncomfortable, but deep inside he found it quite humorous. Then Pinkie Pie puts a hoof into that big curly pink mane of hers. Only to pull out a wallet of photos that unfolds and begins to stretch out for miles. Something that Xavier's brain was trying to process.

Xavier didn't know what to think of this situation except maybe think this pink pony's rambling was getting a little irritating. Soon enough he actually plugs his ears and starts to walk through the streets of ponyville. Pinkie Pie not really noticing she's annoying him at first though, which she follows him, turns her neck a full 360 degrees several times, climbs all over him. Fits in his jeans pockets, defying physics and so on. The usual Pinkie Pie.

"Would you stop!"

Which this got Pinkie Pie to stop pretty quickly, even though she had so many more things to say, after all it was Pinkie Pie. But then a pegasi with cyan fur and a rainbow mane floats down and stares at him, flapping her wings to stay in the air but also be a few inches from his reach.

"Sorry about that, Pinkie Pie can really get ahead of herself sometimes, was watching her talking your ears off. But I do have to agree with Pinkie Pie, never seen you around before. Let alone a single thing that looks like you"

Xavier scratched his goatee along his face, he also noticed this pony's appearance yet he couldn't exactly pinpoint what her name was, or where he was. Though Pinkie Pie did sound a little familiar, just a little. As Rainbow Dash was actually a pony he could relate to, in terms of her stubborn personality of course.

"Forgive me for asking but, where am I, and...who are you?"

He asked this in curiosity. More so because he wanted to clear things up. This got Rainbow Dash to blink, looking at Xavier like he was crazy, crossing her fore-hooves over her chest. She responds with the most cockiest, stubborn voice she's done in a longtime.

"You've got to be joking me, like really you've got to be joking. This is Ponyville, and the name is Rainbow Dash, wonder extraordinaire. Fastest flyer in ALL of Equestria. Coolest pony around! Like 20% cooler than most of these ponies. Wielder of the element of loyalty!"

she grinned all proud like after those words. Xavier blinked looking at her like she was crazy

"I'm sorry did you just say i'm in Ponyville? and you're Rainbow Dash? please don't make me laugh. If you were really Rainbow Dash, and this is Ponyville then from what I've heard about this place is there's supposed to be a big massive rainboom. I think that's what it's called anyways..."

Rainbow Dash could only glare for a few moments before giving a smirk "Oh yeah? Watch this!" and with a very quick yet loud WOOSH, leaving behind a rainbow trail in her wake, she shoots upwards, high into the sky. Only to do a full sharp turn and come down twice as fast, the wind and pressure blowing against her, then breaking the sound barrier before suddenly a big BOOM! happens, a massive circle of rainbow colors spreading across the sky. Which Rainbow dash does back-flips in the air until she lands right in-front of Xavier with a smug grin on her face.

"Toldcha, no one is as good as me" she grinned

It took a few moments for Xavier to take in what he just saw, his green eyes scanning left to right, his head turning with his eyes. Both hands going onto the sides of his head, staring up at the sky he screams as loud as he can, which gets Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie to jump a bit in being startled. Then looking confused when Xavier shouts his next words...

"I AM IN PONYVILLE?!?!"

Chapter 1: Quite The First Day

"I AM IN PONYVILLE?!?!"

Xavier shouted this at the top of his lungs, quickly starting to pace around from left to right. His hands still placed on both sides of his head. While Rainbow Dash was looking at him like he was some sort of mad-pony, while Pinkie Pie found it simply funny and adorable that was his first reaction.

"No way, No way I am in Ponyville, but again Rainbow Dash just did a rainboom. The towns are very similar to the actual show...."

Xavier muttered to himself.

Quiet enough so Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash couldn't hear. Course' knowing Pinkie Pie is she probably did hear it. Soon shortly stopping his pacing he started taking a deep breath in and out several times.

"Okay so I am in Ponyville, what now? some sort of party?" he asked with major annoyance in his voice.

Pinkie Pie simply just ignored the annoyance and stuck her face right against his, her muzzle touching his nose with that little squeak noise coming from their touch against his nose. Again something Xavier found humorous but rather uncomfortable at the same-time too.

"Ooo party? Oh thats right! You're new around here! Why that wont do one bit! Hehe, I sounded like Rarity for a minute there! Oh! Maybe I should Dye my mane purple like hers! Maybe put up a serious fashion attitude! Anyways! PARTY!"

And with that Pinkie Pie dashes off to Sugar Cube Corner leaving a cloud behind her shaped just like her before it evaporates into nothing.

Xavier just stood there with a confused expression on his face, slowly looking over to Rainbow Dash who just shrugs at him. Rainbow Dash was just as lost and confused as much as Xavier was.

"That's Pinkie Pie for you, always hosting the best parties for new arrivals to Ponyville. Also, you may want to cut down the craziness just a tad. You're starting to freak even me out."

The cyan pegasi takes off to the sky after those words of her's. While Xavier looks around with his head and eyes again, seeing how some ponies are keeping their distance from him. His shouting having startled them, or giving him odd looks like he was insane. They were completely ignoring about them not ever seeing his species before, just focusing on how crazy he sounded. Though they scattered when Xavier shot them a death like glare.

Muttering to himself he started to roam around Ponyville, figuring he might as well take some looks around while he was stuck here for however long.

"This isn't a dream, ah I am sure I will be out of here within a week. Surely someone is to notice I am missing, and if it's possible to get here. Then it's possible to get out of here."

He's then spun around like a tornado as three fillies dart past him with that loud familiar catch phrase. A phrase he hasn't heard himself quite yet, but that was about to change in a very quick matter. A phrase that many people were fans of in the dimension he comes from. Although it's a bit hard to hear as he's spinning around without control of his balance, he hear's it clearly enough to make out the words.

"Errand Running Cutie Mark Crusaders Unite!" they shouted.

the three cutie mark crusaders had agreed, no, more so begged to help Pinkie Pie get party supplies around Ponyville. even though Pinkie was more than capable enough of getting it done on her own.

They stopped in their tracks so they could high-hoof together. Though after their high-hoof they look over to Xavier. Noticing he's starting to stumble around after that spin stopped, his eyes rotating all sorts of ways. Even bumping into a few things, then he loses his balance, starting to lean backwards. He was about to fall over, but Applebloom, Scootaloo and Sweetiebell rush over and start working together to keep him from falling over.

"Jeez this guy is heavy!" Scootaloo exclaimed with some strain in her voice.

Scootaloo pushed her head against his left leg, while Applebloom was pushing against his right leg. Sweetiebell pulling at his left jean's ankle. And for whatever reason it worked like a charm.

The tall 6'2 human staring down at them once his dizziness was gone. Noticing their grinning up at him widely, expecting some sort of thank you from him. Instead he simply scoffs something under his breath and begins to take his leave, not even bothering to thank the young fillies for helping him keep his balance.

"OH YOU'RE WELCOME!"

Scootaloo shouted. Giving a bit of a glare at him as he walked away. Applebloom giving a confused look, while Sweetiebell just stared in surprise at the human just walking away.

"Ponies...I hate Ponies" Xavier muttered to himself.

During his walk he ends up tripping and falling over something, or more accurately another Pony. This time he wasn't paying attention to where he was walking. He had tripped over Fluttershy, who squeals out of being startled, dashing up into a tree and hiding in the leafs.

Xavier grunts a bit as he slowly gets up and looks at his arm, seeing he was a scratch on it, shrugging a little he starts to walk again. But stops when he feels a pony pulling on his arm, looking over he sees Fluttershy, who had spotted the scratch on his arm and flown out of the tree as quick as possible.

"Oh m-my I-I am s-so sorry for hurting you. Let me treat that wound for you" she spoke in her soft tone.

Xavier looked over, seeing the light yellow pegasi looking at his scratch, figuring he might as well accept SOME help, but when she starts to lightly kiss his wound and getting ready to put a band-aid on it. As she just assumed he was another animal, or more accurately a pet that can walk on two legs.

This got Xavier to look at her in disgust and tug his arm away as roughly and fast as possible.

"Blech! No thank you!" he scoffed.

This startled Fluttershy and forced her too land on the ground and hide behind a wing of her's. Starting to apologize several times to him. which made him just groan further in annoyance. Now he was getting angry, starting to hate this world even more with each pony he came across.

He starts to resume roaming around Ponyville again, eventually passing by Applejack's cart that was selling apples. Feeling his stomach growling he muttered in annoyance one last time.

"Cannot believe I have to socialize with yet another Pony...but those apples do look pretty darn good" he said to himself.

Walking over to the cart he's greeting with a smile and a tip of Applejack's hat. Something that he himself does in his dimension when he's greeting or saying farewell to someone. He felt like this was something he could relate too, which actually started to make him warm up a little to her. But he still despises her entirely.

"Why howdy there partner, something I can do for ya?" Applejack asked as politely and friendly as possible.

"Uh sure, I will take about...three of your best apples" he grins.

But the grin was something that gave Applejack a disturbed look and made her let out a disturbed sound as well.

Xavier's grin was not really much of a grin at all, it was a wide, fake, creepy grin. Something that you'd see some sort of clown do, except just creepier. Which when Applejack gave him that face, his grin quickly vanished.

"Right that'll be Fifteen bits, each apple is five bits" she replied pointing at the sign.

Xavier smirked, looking towards the sign, noticing that it did in fact say five per apple, but bits? Was she referring to dollar bills, or was she referring to fifteen quarters. He had no clue, so instead he pulls out fifteen dollars, one being a ten dollar bill, while the other one was a five dollar bill.

"Um, are ya'll paying me in grass?".

Applejack had a very unimpressed look on her face, assuming he was trying to rip her off with what she called grass. This simply got Xavier to stare not too amused himself at her. And before he can respond he's interrupted by a familiar voice, a voice he just hates more than anything in the world.

"Now Darling! Dont you notice a new arrival when you see one?" Rarity spoke up in that fancy voice of her's. Which was exactly what Xavier hated, fancy voices. And their whole high society appearance.

"Now Rarity, of course I can tell whenever there's a new arrival in Ponyville. Clearly this fella' is it. Still gotta run a business here"

she responded in a honest tone as usual. while giving a light roll of her eyes.

This got the white furred mare to reach into one of those fancy pouches of her's to pull out fifteen bits exactly and looking to Xavier with a smile of her's. She was feeling mighty generous today, in fact she was always generous, well as long as it didn't involve business or anything to pay for the bills and all that.

Xavier slowly reaching forward before quickly grabbing the fifteen bits she offered, he stared at her confused like as if he was expecting her to ask for a favor in return. And he hated returning favors, well most of the time he hated it.

"It's on the house darling, plus it seems from where you come from you pay in grass. How primitive really" she responds in a jokeful tone. Although she was serious about it being on the house.

This simply got Xavier to shake his head in annoyance, and for the first time in Ponyville he speaks up with a thank you. Snatching the apples that were payed for him. He walks away, pulling out an apple and very slowly starting to bite into it, finding the taste much more enjoyable than the apples he usually gets. Which just throws him way off guard.

As he nears Sugar Cube Corner, A lavender mare spots him from a table she's sitting at with a small dragon standing on his seat, looking at Xavier as well.

"Ah boy, don't tell me you want me to take a letter when its our day off" Spike replied with annoyance. But Twilight Sparkle wasn't paying attention to Spike's words.

"Spike, take a letter. I have to write to Celestia about this new arrival, he looks a lot like one of those people from that dimension I went to a while back. But his colors are all wrong" she spoke up while keeping an eye on Xavier.

This got Spike to groan as he started to write the letter exactly as Twilight wanted it to be written, along with adding in the letter that Twilight was way too focused on sending letters to Celestia even as a princess herself.

Xavier's day proceeded to go smoothly except for when he actually arrives at his party which escalates to him just finding it plainly annoying, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy and the Cutie Mark Crusaders all being there.

Once the party ends, Xavier is invited to stay over at Twilight's place, mostly because Twilight was curious and wanted to run further studies on him. Which although Xavier refused, Twilight Sparkle gave him a good reason to stay the night there. As it was either her place or sleep out on the hard street and wake up with some major pain in his body.

That simply made Xavier even more annoyed, he was on the verge of snapping now. He was becoming annoyed more and more today as it just went on and on. But he ultimately agreed to stay the night just this once, falling asleep quickly in the guest bed once he arrived. He mutters to himself one final time before drifting off to the sweet embrace of the night.

"I cannot wait to get out of this god forsaken place, but I have to admit...It was Quite The First Day, interesting to say the least."

As he slept through the night, Princess Luna herself was conversating with her sister Princess Celestia. About Xavier, after all it was mostly Celestia's plan after seeing all the depression and hate he had towards Ponies without even giving them a chance. And so Luna spoke up towards her sister in a concerned tone

"Dost' thou' truly believe this Xavier has the potential to learn friendship and true happiness?"

Celestia was only able to smile lightly at her sister's concern, a smile she masked to hide her concern herself, She and Luna have encountered many cases of this before where someone hates ponies for whatever reason. Such as Tirek, yet they have never encountered a human having such a strong hatred towards ponies.

Still she replied in a calm tone.

"Everyone has the potential to learn friendship dear sister, though this Xavier, is proving so far that this will be a difficult task for Twilight and her friends. He has a hatred towards ponies I have never seen before. Despite never encountering one himself."

Luna just sighed at her sister's words. She knew her sister was right on this, yet she didn't like Celestia being right most of the time. Was part of the sister jealousy, or well just being sisters in general. Groaning a little in annoyance, she sighed and responded in a concerned tone once again.

"We hopeth that thou' is right. The very safety of our subjects is at stake" replied the shorter princess. Which made Celestia just sigh in response towards her sister.

"Have faith Luna, I have a feeling there is more to Xavier than meets the eye."

Celestia had again been right with her instinct on knowing there was more to Xavier than meets the eye, but she had no clue just how right she was on this matter, a matter that would soon come to light when given time.

Chapter 2: A Journey Begins

The next morning was one of beauty, the sun shining brightly, birds chirping, flying in the sky. And ponies all over Ponyville roaming around the town and outside of Ponyville itself. Most of them going to a few lakes, parks or beaches.

While Xavier himself was slowly waking up in the guest bed, only to find a few contraptions placed over his face and chest. Which startled him so much, that he ends up falling out of the bed quite literally with a hard thud. Groaning a little in pain and a mix of annoyance he yanks the contraptions off his body, what happened next was him shouting at the top of his lungs.

"TWILIGHT!"

In a matter of seconds Twilight barges through the door with some monitor readings on a long list of paper. Tripping over them she stumbles into the room, then quite quickly gets up so not to embarrass herself. Clearing her throat, kicking the papers behind her out of the door, she grinned awkwardly pretending not to have taken readings of him while he was sleeping.

The lavender mare cleared her throat, speaking up in a calm tone, while adding some curiosity too it.

"Whats up Xavier?" she asked.

Xavier got up and shoved the wires against her face that were originally attatched to his body, glaring down at the lavender mare. Twilight had figured out that he figured out that she was running tests on him while he was sleeping. Then again considering Twilight's personality about how much she enjoys reading books and running experiments.

The lavender mare focuses on her horn and levitates the wires away from her face. Giving a light sigh as her left fore-hoof comes up and rubs the back of her head in embarrassment, sighing as she opens her mouth to speak. Yet is interrupted by Xavier who is just stuttering on his words at first, yet he finds himself stuttering and speaks in a normal tone towards her.

"What's the big idea of running experiments on my Twilight Sparkle, no wait don't answer that, I don't want too know and I don't care too know. But don't you ever dare run another experiment on me while I am sleeping."

Twilight lowered her head, now she felt bed as Xavier stormed past her. Yet she could sense a rudeness in his voice, though she ignores his rude nature for now. And instead follows after him, wanting to apologize for running experiments on him without his consent. Yet as she see's him walking away faster. She stops her pursuit, figuring he needs time to be left alone before having a conversation with her.

As she turns to leave in the opposite direction, Rainbow Dash lands right next to her, causing Twilight to yelp. Having seen Xavier storming off, but not having heard the conversation.

Rainbow Dash spoke up towards Twilight confused, plus she herself wanted a little scoop in on what was going on.

"What's that guy's problem?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Twilight shook her head, stomping her hoof down and staring at Rainbow Dash right in her eyes. She hated being startled by Rainbow Dash whenever it happened, in-fact she always hated being startled by anypony.

"Rainbow Dash! How many times do I have to tell you to stop startling me like that!? Anyways, Xavier is a little angry at me for running some experiments on him while he was sleeping. Have to say getting his shirt lifted up so I could placed the wires on his chest, and belly was the difficult part. Not wanting to wake up his sleep and all that." Twilight replied.

"Why were you wanting to run tests on him on the first place? He seems like a pretty chill guy to me, well, chill guy when he's not being a jerk"

Rainbow Dash replied, smirking as she watched Xavier walking down the streets of Ponyville. Her eyes even starting to wander a little downwards. Yet Twilight speaks up as Rainbow Dash's gaze started to move downwards.

"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight said loudly which of course startled the blue pegasi, something that's not easy to do.

"What?! I wasn't looking over him from a distance or anything! I mean, he's not good looking for a....thing!" she exclaimed quickly.

Rainbow Dash stopped herself from saying anything else though with a hoof when she noticed Twilight giving her an odd look. Glaring at Twilight with a serious expression as the lavender mare is starting to slowly giggle and laugh. The cyan pegasi lifting herself up and pressing her face against Twilight's.

Saying in the most serious tone she could at the moment without trying too blush. Yet that wasn't very successful, if anything her tone made her sound embarrassed.

"Not a word of this to anypony" Rainbow Dash demanded.

Twilight slowly stopped her laughing, giving Rainbow Dash a light smile, along with rolling her eyes in an amused fashion. She rarely sees Rainbow Dash be embarrassed, but this was the first time she's seen Rainbow Dash be embarrassed about a male. Since she's normally the tough one of the group, well along with Applejack.

"Dont worry Rainbow Dash I'm not gonna say anything, you're gonna have to do that yourself. Though I don't really blame you, for well, whatever he is. He is kind of good looking, if we're just complimenting people."

Rainbow Dash muttered a little, though they drop the subject when Spike comes trotting out in some sort of swim trousers. Twilight and Rainbow Dash looking to eachother in confusion before coming up to Spike, making the small purple dragon look at them curiously.

"Oh hey ladies, whats up?" Spike asked.

"Oh nothing much Spike, did you forget what today was?" Twilight Sparkle asked.

"Um, it's sunday right?" he asks, though stops in his words when he realizes what this type of Sunday was, making him groan. "Alright fine, i'll get our things packed."

Xavier on the other hand was still walking through the streets, yet his walk is interrupted when Pinkie Pie comes up and start's to pester him again, asking him how his day is going. If he enjoyed the party and the list goes on. Eventually Xavier had enough of Pinkie's rambling and grabs her muzzle and shuts it with one hand.

His free hand coming up and rubbing his forehead very slowly as he took some time to calm himself down. When he was done with that, he looks to Pinkie Pie with the friendliest. Or tries to give her the friendliest grin he's ever done which just turns into another awkward, creepy grin.

"Pinkie Pie I really, really appreciate the fact you've taken interest in how my first couple days have been going. But can you do me a little favor and I don't know, leave me be for like...forever?" he asked, letting go of her muzzle.

Pinkie Pie just gave him a smile, not even noticing how rude he's being, looking towards Twilight's castle, then back to Xavier, about a good several times. Which is starting to get Xavier curious.

The human male paused though when she kept looking back and forth and groans, knowing she's going to say something. Preparing for another ramble fest he shook his head, another sigh escaping him. Looking down towards Pinkie Pie one last time, he takes a deep breath. But is getting prepared to shout to get his point across.

"You're going to say something Pinkie Pie so just come out and say it."

Pinkie Pie took a deep breath, preparing another ramble fest, and although it was a mix of rambling it was also a question towards him when she finally spoke.

"Twilight and the rest of us have been planning a real, real, REAL long field trip to go explore as much of Equestria as possible to take some time off. Especially after all a bunch of really, really bad baddies haven't shown up for a long time! Of course' I volunteered to go to make the field trip as fun as possible, While Rainbow Dash volunteered to make it as cool as possible but then Twilight was like nah. And I was like Why not? And she was all like, this might be boring for the rest of us. Then Rainbow Dash was all like she wanted to come anyways to do something different for a change! And then Applejack was all like surprised and everything that Rainbow Dash wanted to do something different" then she takes a deep gasp.

Xavier sighs a bit knowing this could take a while so he sits down on the pavement, and listens to Pinkie Pie. When it was nearing the two hour mark, Pinkie pie still hasn't finished her rambling. Which is making his eyes starting to twitch, then he started to face-palm himself over and over again.

He just HAD to open his big mouth and let Pinkie Pie talk, sure from what he knew is Pinkie Pies rambling can go on for a longtime, even though that's rare it goes for this long. But now he was witnessing it first hand, or well, witnessing it first ear.

About to snap and shout to tell Pinkie Pie to shut up. What she says next gets him to prevent him from saying anything.

"Not to mention Twilight wanted to look at some magical mysterious ruins that are hidden somewhere in Equestria that princess Luna and princess Celestia discovered from some studying about other dimensions other than that one world she went too. Whoa boy that was a doozy! And she was wondering if you wanted to come along! But then-"

She was interrupted by Xavier's hand pressing against her mouth, yet Pinkie Pie continues to talk even though her voice is completely muffled. So many thoughts were running through Xavier's head, this was a chance for him to get home and get away from these ponies. Return to his normal life on the farm. Where everything was quiet and peaceful.

Although he wished there were other ways to get away from these ponies, this is the only option he see's that could get him home. Either that or send him to another dimension that was hopefully less annoying than this one.

Releasing his hand from Pinkie Pie's mouth he grins.

"Alright sure I am game with going with you six ponies, anything to get away from yo-" he stops in the middle of his sentence then quickly turns it around. "Get away from your lovely town to explore the other wonders from Equestria!" he grins.

Pinkie Pie lets out a cheer, shooting up into the air and releasing some confetti out of nowhere, then she dashes off again to tell Twilight that he is coming along.

And sure enough later that afternoon after the girls and Xavier get packed properly, or well the girls do. Xavier had nothing to pack because he came here with nothing than the clothes on his back.

Once Twilight made sure everyone was ready they begin to walk up the hill, carrying supplies and emergency supplies in some satchels strapped to both their sides. Each pony carrying Two satchels with them just in-case if they need back-up supplies. For whatever reasons they may come across, whether they lose one bag, one of them gets injured. Whether they need to pass an obstacle, they had everything they needed to make the journey to the location on the map Twilight held in her bags, to the journey back home.

Xavier was the one at the very back of group, making sure Fluttershy follows along.

The bushes next to Xavier the further they got started to seem to follow them, he stops dead in his tracks and looks towards the bush when it stops moving. He had a feeling something was following them, so he walks over towards the bush, only to pull out three fillies and one dragon following the seven of them.

Xavier was wondering just how he was holding the four of them in both his hands, yet he ignores how he's able to do it, calling out towards the group that is way ahead of him.

"Hey girls! I got some unwanted fillies and...a dragon following us..." he stops in the middle of his words again, spotting the dragon he's holding when he thought it was another filly.

Screaming loudly he rushes over the hill after dropping the four of them on their flanks, catching Rainbow Dash by surprise. Then face-hoofing herself. The one human she seems to start developing a crush towards. Is scared, of a dragon? A small dragon no less, but still a dragon. Suddenly Xavier started to seem less attractive to her.

Applejack looked to the three fillies who are carrying satchels themselves, smaller satchels sure. But still satchels.

"What're ya'll doing out here?! Ya'll know it's dangerous!" exclaimed a protective Applejack towards the three fillies.

"Actually Applejack the road were taking is quite safe, Princess Luna and Princess Celestia made sure it was before getting a map made of the pathway" Twilight called back towards Applejack.

"C'mon Big Sister! Me, Scootaloo and Sweetiebell want to come along!" Applebloom exclaimed, while giving her sister big puppy dog eyes.

"Yeah! I mean there's nothing else to do back at Ponyville, and we've tried everything!" Sweetiebell added.

"Yeah, everything except getting a job" Scootaloo spoke up.

This got Applebloom and Sweetiebell to give a loud, long groan at the thought of getting a job when their fully grown. They hated doing chores after all before play. Well except maybe Applebloom, she did after all like helping out around the farm. As long as it meant getting her cutie mark eventually.

"When I'm grown up, the first thing I'm gonna do is make sure I never get a job!" Scootaloo added.

The girls all except Applejack giggled and laughed at this, they remembered that feeling all too well when they were the cutie mark crusaders age. Yet as full grown adults, their jobs were actually either exciting or they didn't mind their job anymore. But of course they were lucky to have landed some really good careers that complimented their own cutie marks.

"Ya'll know I don't want you getting hurt out here, what kind of big sister would I be if something happened to you Applebloom?" Applejack asked.

"I'm not a kid anymore sis! And ya know it! I can take care of myself! What do I have to do to prove it too you?" Sweetiebell exclaimed once more, except this time stomping her hoof down.

"Oh Come on Applejack, I promise the road is safe, and we have more than enough supplies if something bad happens to them. What's the worst that a field trip could do to them? I mean their the cutie mark crusaders! Their almost 20% cooler than most ponies" Rainbow Dash spoke up.

"Dont! Encourage them Rainbow Dash!" Applejack growled under her breath.

Xavier had just recovered from his scare of a dragon when he realized it was a small harmless dragon, sitting at the top of the hill he listened to the conversation Applejack, Rainbow Dash and the Cutie Mark Crusaders were having.

He was slowly starting to notice that these ponies have just as much emotion as a human like himself does. Now he was starting to feel guilty. Asking himself in his mind if he was really feeling sympathy towards a cartoon character, he shakes it off quickly and goes back to focusing on the conversation.

"I promise I'll be good sister! We'll listen to everything you and the others say! I promise!" Applebloom said in a sad tone. Again giving her sister the big ol' puppy dogs.

"Oh the thing with the eyes, and the sadness, and the begging, and the hoping! Ah! Alright! Ya'll win! But do everything we say alright?" Applejack said, not all too happy with the situation.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders run up and hug Applejack's legs shouting thank you over and over again. Applejack simply rolling her eyes at this but really she was actually smiling underneath that fake appearance she was putting up. The rest of the girls are simply just smiling at being glad there's more ponies joining them on the field trip.

It would make things a lot more interesting for their group.

"And what about you Spike? You coming along too?" asked Twilight with a smile.

"Yeah i'm coming along, its either that or getting stuck with Derpy Hooves" Spike replied.

Which back in Ponyville Derpy Hooves had gotten herself stuck in a mailbox, holding letters in her mouth, and all sorts of other ponies just staring in confusion at Derpy as she doesn't even bother trying to get out.

The Six mares laugh as do the fillies, in fact it even gets Xavier to chuckle, which throws Fluttershy off guard, and actually begins to make her eager too continue the field trip with her friends more than being hesitant. Since she was only hesitant because of Xavier's first time meeting with her, and she wasn't so sure of how Xavier would act.

The ponies then begin to start making their descent down the other side of the hill until they reach a trail of dirt and trees, it wasn't everfree forest, just one of the many forests outside of ponyville. And one by one they begin to go into the forest in a straight line, putting the fillies in the center of the group so their protected from the front and the back.

And as Xavier is about to go into the forest next, Fluttershy goes first. But not before saying in a soft, yet friendly tone towards Xavier.

"I think you're really going to like this trip Xavier, maybe you'll even learn a few things along the way" she said softly.

Xavier paused one last time before giving a soft smirk to himself, following after Fluttershy once it was his turn to go next so he wasn't too close, nor too far from Fluttershy. He started feeling a little joy, in fact even that small smirk began to escalate into a true smile, something he's not done in months.

Celestia and Luna watched from a distance, looking to each-other with a smile, then nodding their heads to one another. Taking their leave down the other side of the hill. They began to leave the rest of this in the hoofs of the girls and the cutie mark crusaders.

What nopony realized is a mysterious danger was watching them from the trees, watching, waiting for the opportune moment to strike...

Chapter 3: Camp Night

The walk through the forest was a good long two to three hour walk due to how long and big this forest was, it was almost larger than the everfree forest, well at least it was easy to navigate through compared to the everfree from what he heard from Twilight during the long walk until eventually Xavier and the rest of the group soon came out the other side of the forest they were travelling through.

Luckily for them they came out the other side without incident, well putting major incidents aside and getting a whole new meaning of the word incident when Pinkie Pie was rambling and talking non-stop through the whole walk.

In fact Pinkie was still talking, she had been given plenty of hints to be quiet but she just didn't care she loved to ramble about strange things or make the conversation, a lot longer than it should be. Or, in Xavier's own words if you're thinking about just Xavier himself would rather prefer to replace quiet with the words, shut up.

The tall 6'2, average yet muscular built human scratched away at his trimmed dark blonde hair, then started to scratch his goatee which was the same color as his hair but just a tad darker, started to groan in a mix of pain. His pain however was not one of sore legs in fact far from sore legs, he worked out in the countryside after all seven hours a day sometimes longer than seven hours. No, his groan of pain was because Pinkie Pie kept talking so much that even TWILIGHT herself was getting annoyed.

"Oh! And then there was that one time where I ended up putting whip cream all over another pony's face while he was sleeping that by the time he woke up I was putting a lot and a lot of cherries on the whip cream! His face was priceless! Though I couldn't really see his face because there were so many cherries and whip cream on his face, but I imagine if I could see his face he was giving me a really annoyed face like this!"

Pinkie Pie proceeded to stretch out her face to the best portrayal or what she thought was a portrayal of the pony's face by biting her lips tightly, even widening her eyes and shrinking her pupils somehow shrinking her pupils that was a mystery to every-pony in the group. Pinkie then furrowed her brow to look as angry as possible, or maybe the face she remembered was serious. The pink pony just couldn't decide on a expression so she went with the serious expression, Pinkie slowly began to proceed in standing up on her back legs while her left and right fore-hoof are crossed across her chest.

Then she sits down with a loud thud coming from her flank as she impacts the ground and sits there, which when she sits down it causes every-pony in the group to get lifted off the ground by a couple inches which looked a lot like a hop at a distance. Nope, it was Pinkie Pie defying the laws of physics again with her earth pony strength and Pinkie being well, Pinkie

This startled every-pony in the group including Xavier and he did not appreciate being startled by anyone or in this case any-pony for that important matter, Xavier's blood was boiling red hot from Pinkie's antics. Though when no-pony actually bothers to tell her to stop she just keeps going at it like as if she was some sort of five year old kid, Xavier finally raised a finger, proceeded to take a deep breath but before a single word could come out of that mouth of his, Pinkie fell asleep right there on the spot.

This was not exactly the kind of thing or result he was hoping for in terms of telling Pinkie to stop but for him it works, for the others they knew Pinkie would just be at it again sometime soon. If it wasn't going to be later that night or tomorrow, chances are it would sure as heck happen the next day after tomorrow, but even if it didn't happen then? Well the list of when she'd do it just goes on for miles on paper.

"My Goodness, I thought today was going to be another one of those Pinkie days if I ever meet a stallion in my life that likes to conversations about fashion just as much as I do, but with Pinkie's amount of how much she talks? Well I would never want that I'm sure he would annoy me long before he fascinates me" Rarity spoke.

"Whoa Rarity, I didn't think Pinkie's rambling annoys you that much too sometimes I mean you almost never show it when were together. You're usually just, what's the word a civil head?" Rainbow Dash said with only moderate surprise and more of a joke-full matter to get under Rarity's fur.

Rarity gives a soft yet amused tiny laugh at Rainbow Dash's comment, but the little joke of civil head was by far one of Rainbow Dash's worst nicknames she's come up with compared to her egghead joke she does on Twilight all the time. Setting down her saddlebags she starts digging through both of them for her mane tonic.

Then she proceeds to speak up in a civilized matter well at least at the start she was before nearing the end.

"That's because Rainbow my dear, a true lady does not let the emotions she's feeling at the time whether she is feeling annoyance or disgust towards some sort of well...thing become shown in society, an elegant mare must always remain calm and civil about-Egad! I cannot believe that I forgot my make-up! quickly does anyone have a fainting chair?!" she exclaimed.

"Um....fainting what?" Xavier asked.

Applejack simply rolled her eyes at this as her expression turned to one of annoyance as yet she herself was setting up her tent with the help of Fluttershy next to her, her back was turned to the group so it wasn't possible to see her expression unless if in front of her or at a certain angle from one of her sides.

Though Pinkie woke up in a matter of seconds when she hears the word fainting chair, she quickly stood up on all four of her legs only to stretch out her right hind leg and zip off, leaving yet another cloud shaped perfectly like her. The pink mare coming back within a matter of mere seconds with Rarity's faint chair, she placed the chair right behind Rarity as she fell back just in time for Pinkie to put it there. This baffled Xavier as now he began to point fingers back and forth in the direction of the chair and where Pinkie dashed off to.

"How did you, when did you, how could you, how is that...I give up" said Xavier, swinging his arms upward as a way of adding to the whole giving up on trying to understand Pinkie.

"Did you bring a tent Vivi?" Pinkie asked having literally just giving Xavier a nickname that she came up with right on the spot.

"Vivi? Don't ever call me Vivi please just don't and no I didn't bring a tent I only came here with the clothes on my back. So if any-pony here is wondering how I am going to wash my clothes, don't you dare EVEN think about spying on me cleaning them" he spoke up.

The six mares looked to eachother, including the cutie mark crusaders looking at one another. While Spike's expression turned to one of surprise and then turned to disgust, sticking his tongue out while lifting up his left arm only to point his hand and index finger towards his mouth as a sign of yuck, though Spike's expression changes to that of a nervous grin as Twilight spots this and gives Spike a glare.

"What? you were all thinking the same thing as me it was kind of disgusting him talking about cleaning his clothes and not to mention telling us not to watch him clean them" Spike responded with a tone that was leaning towards annoyance but managing to make it just sound a tad insulting.

"Oh Spike, I'm sure he was referring to just us mare's anyways" Twilight said with a roll of her eyes while also smirking to herself as a blush was escaping her, the whole topic about this was starting to make her blush, just like Rainbow Dash she found Xavier cute more than good-looking.

Xavier just shakes his head slowly though that head of his is gripped by Pinkie and put into a friendly little headlock, where his head is held to the right side of her chest. Xavier's expression was a mix of confusion along with trying to process what is going on right now, then he's picked up in her grip and shaked around like rag-doll from pure excitement from an earlier topic about himself not bringing a tent. The shake just making him a complete blur of tan skin until Pinkie stops shaking him out of her own excitement.

"You can sleep in my tent with my Xavier! Oh! We can stay up and talk about all sorts of things! oh! maybe about baking really delicious cupcakes!" exclaimed Pinkie, very quickly stopping with shaking him around and grinning widely at him.

"Sleeping with Pinkie Pie?!" Twilight and Rainbow Dash shout this together at the same exact time, then the two mares look to one another in surprise. Did they just really say this at the same exact time as the other?

Xavier wrestled out of Pinkie's grip with a bit of trouble at first, yet the more he pulled and turned in her grip Pinkie took that as a sign to let him go and so she let's go of him, causing the male to land on his back due to tugging backwards so much and once he impacts against the ground he lands with a sharp oof. His eyes once more spinning all over the place due to how dizzy he is.

"Can we just focus on getting our tents setup and start up a campfire before it gets too dark out?" Applejack asks in a serious tone, she wanted to get this work done rather than just goof around all evening.

"I have to agree with AJ it's getting really dark out really quickly" Fluttershy spoke up.

"Oh we can go gather firewood!" exclaimed Applebloom.

"Yeah we can start a fire and keep warm from the cold" said Sweetiebell

"Yeah and have smores too!" exclaimed Scootaloo all excited as she puts down her saddlebags and pulls out marshmallows, graham crackers and of course some chocolate bars all made by equestrian standards which worked very similar to human standards the only difference is the snacks are much sweeter than Xavier's world does.

Xavier had just shaken off his dizziness right when the idea of smores is involved, sitting straight up he proceeds to look towards the mane six and spike who are all looking to each-other with some grins and nods towards each-other, all of them agreeing that it's a wonderful idea. Twilight walking over to Xavier to help him up with her magic, while Rainbow flew over to hover by his right side both mares looking to him expecting an answer from him about the smores idea as they wanted him to be involved in the group and actually build up a friendship with them. They were showing this kind of interest due to some hostility he showed yesterday towards them, in fact today he was a little hostile still but not as much as he was on day one of their meeting.

"I suppose that does sound like a good idea, I suppose I could try some smores with you all" replied Xavier towards the cutie mark crusaders. The three fillies giving a happy gasp and looking to one another they rush off into the forest to pick up fallen wood pieces on the dirt trail.

Later that night with the tents all set up and the campfire being freshly just started the mane 6, spike, the cutie mark crusaders and Xavier all sit around the campfire in a circle having shared quite a few stories with each-other both true stories about their pasts and fantasy made up stories. Although for the pegasi and earth ponies it was a little difficult having a conversation when their holding their marshmallow on their stick, at least at the start is was difficult until they find a different way to hold it.

Xavier was remaining quiet at the campfire until Twilight decides to actually include him into the conversation. She had expected Xavier to join in on the conversation on his own that wasn't the case apparently which actually made her a tad disappointed.

"So what about you Xavier? Got any family back wherever you come from? I believe we never asked" asked Twilight with a soft smile and tone coming from her.

"Hm? Oh sorry I was spacing out, yeah I got a family back home or well I used too..." he responded in a bit of a sad tone.

"Oh my whatever happened to them darling? Some sort of tragedy?" asked Rarity as her tone went from surprised to concerned within a matter of seconds in her sentence.

"Nah it's just, they left me because of...well that's complicated let's just say its cause of a pony and now she wont even let me near my son" Xavier lied, though some of it was true which he knew all too well already. And it was a topic he wasn't all too keen on sharing with them until he knew he was able to return to his home world. But what was there to return to? He wondered this to himself after he responded to them about his family, was it work? Or was it because he just wanted to go back into his depression without anyone pestering him.

"Well if we ever go to your world I'm gonna kick that pony's flank! With a bit of a hoof-kwondo!" exclaimed Rainbow Dash as she stood up on her hind legs and proceeded to punch the air and accidentally step all over AJ.

"Now hold your horses Rainbow! Rainbow!" repeated Applejack as she eventually had enough and tripped Rainbow on purpose out of sheer annoyance and discomfort of being stepped on by the cyan pegasi.

"Hey! What was that for?!" shouted Rainbow Dash.

"Ya'll were stepping all over me!" exclaimed Applejack.

Xavier looked to Twilight in confusion as the two of them started to argue about stepping all over her, Rainbow Dash simply defending herself with the whole Applejack should've moved and in turn she got the response about how she should watch of where she's stepping. Twilight just shrugging towards Xavier as a way of her having no clue why they do this so much. The argument quickly turns into one of a humorous conversation after a good five minutes of arguing, though to Xavier and Twilight it felt like the arguing was lasting forever.

After the arguing was done every-pony starts retiring to their tents except Xavier, he just sleeps outside against a tree resting his head against the bark of a tree he's laying against.

Again Xavier was having nightmares of his mistake he made with his family about his obsessive controllive nature that he starts to talk in his sleep but luckily none of it was about him apologizing. It was just him consisting of begging them of not leaving he was talking so loudly that Twilight was the first and only one to hear it at this current time of night, staring down at Spike as she assumed it was him though she quickly notices it's not Spike.

Standing up very slowly she proceeds to walk towards the small opening of the tent and moving the right drape with her right fore-hoof she stuck her head out only to gasp quietly when she see's Xavier talking and turning in his sleep. She quietly moves over to the tossing and turning Xavier, his legs were kicking and his arms swinging around every so often which saddened Twilight to the point she stood up on her hind legs and shook him until he woke up.

"What! What do you-Oh Twilight it's just you" replied Xavier, lifting up his hands he wipes away the sweat on his forehead.

"You were tossing and turning a lot Xavier not to mention talking in your sleep, is everything alright?" she asked, those violet eyes of her's staring at his green eyes.

"No, everything isn't alright I just...really miss my family Twilight that's why I want to return to my world, see if I can convince her to let me at least visit my son every once in a while" he lied, or at least he wanted to lie in fact he didn't know what he wanted still even after just admitting he is still missing his family greatly.

"We'll get you home someday Xavier I promise you that, but you don't have to go through this alone we're here for you as your friends" replied Twilight as she let go of him to put her fore-hoofs on the ground again.

Xavier was very, very surprised at this in fact surprised and shocked wouldn't do justice for what he was feeling, if anything he was stunned. Here he has been treating Twilight and friends like total crap yet she was offering him friendship just like that? This world continued to amaze him but it also began to disgust him for a reason he still hasn't come to terms with yet.

Giving a slow nod towards Twilight he actually gave her a smile, letting her be the first one to actually see him smile.

"What's this a smile? An actual genuine smile? You're full of surprises Xavier, sure I've seen other of your species but they were really different, if anything they were like Equestrians just as a....hairless diamond dog or something" Twilight shuddered a bit as the diamond dog incident was one she was not very fond of even though she did learn a valuable lesson by the end of it.

"Hey! Us humans can smile if we want too! Some of us just don't like to smile!" responded Xavier with a bit of an amused look on his face.

"So that's what you're species is called, human? It's nice actually, are you going to be alright out here if I go back to the tent? Or would you like me to stay out here with you?" asked Twilight. Though upon realizing what she just said she starts to blush embarrassed at this.

"Actually, I suppose I could use some company out here...not a word of this to anyone though, er, any-pony I mean. Or so help me" he responds which gets Twilight to laugh.

Twilight slowly layed her head on his legs and proceeds to fall asleep right then and there on the spot, while Xavier stares down at Twilight one last time before his eyes shut to fall asleep into the night's embrace once more much like he did on the first night in Equestria except something was different about this as well. That joyful feeling he felt earlier that day was returning again, going to sleep actually happy where his dreams become peaceful once again.

And in his dream as the night becomes more and more later he finds himself flying in the night sky with Twilight Sparkle, the starry night and full moon adding more of the peaceful atmosphere to it. It's near the end of his dream is where he and Twilight meet eye to eye in a locked gaze holding each-other and slowly, ever so slowly moving towards a kiss.

Yet his dream is interrupted with a loud cannon going off which startles him awake. Twilight was already up herself eating breakfast while Pinkie Pie was giggling like crazy with all that confetti being over Xavier's body.

"Wakey! Wakey sleepy vivi!" Pinkie pie once more exclaimed down towards Xavier who begins to slowly wake up the view of that cannon and to the view of a beautiful early morning where the sun has just passed sunrise but the morning is still fresh.

"Yeah good morning to you too Pinkie Pie" he said in a sarcastic tone, and for once his tone was different towards her his tone was no longer filled with one of annoyance...

Chapter 4: An Evil Plan In Motion

Meanwhile in a cave, far off from the rest of Ponyville and Canterlot, that mysterious creature that had watched Xavier when he first went through that forest, he came walking in himself revealing he was a human as well. There were plenty of other humans all coming through a custom built portal too while managing to mask their presence from the princesses of Equestria.

That wasn't the troubling thing however, these were humans wearing some sort of human made armor, something you'd see from a sci-fi film basically. Since they had no other protection against equestrian magic in terms of physical defense, it would have to do for now at least until they knew for absolute certain what could make them immune to equestrian magic, which is a luxury of time they did not have. Yet that wasn't all they had, they were carrying crates of weapons, as well as carrying other crates filled with rope.

The mysterious figure approached a crate and placed his right hand on it. His appearance was one of intimidation, thick black body armor with a red skull spray-painted over his helmet that went around the main visor of his helmet to the bottom of the helmet. He had red spray-paint all over his armor as well, just not in any sort of emblem or symbol and underneath all that armor he was a tall 7'2, white skin toned, bald and clean shaven bulky person.

Hot hair escaped the very front of the helmet where his mouth would be as he began to speak up. Where his voice was rugged but rather robotic sounding thanks to the voice changer within his helmet.

"Have the stun guns arrived safely? Or is this another batch of rope sent our way by our employer?" asked the man in the black armor.

"These are the stun guns sent by our employer sir. So now that we got our weapons and rope, can we proceed to actually capture all of the ponies of Equestria so we can get this job done?" asked the random mercenary that was sitting on another crate.

"Not yet, we have to make sure Xavier takes the bait with the portal. Our employer doesn't want him interfering with his plans in case if he actually accepts these ponies friendship, highly doubtful it will happen though" replied the man with the red painted skull on his helmet.

"Oh come on! we've been sitting here two weeks, I want some action, though remind me why are we here to capture the ponies anyways Garold?" asked the same random soldier, having also revealed the name of the man in the black armor.

"Because our employer wants the strong slaves to help him build his empire, while the weak are being sold for other purposes. I'm not complaining though as long as I get my money" Garold replied once more.

"Okay I know were here for that, but I mean why capture ponies when he has enough warships to go to Xavier's time-line to take over the world like he keeps going on about!" exclaimed that mercenary.

"He can't be for certain he has enough warships, and apparently ponies work a lot quicker than humans. Oh I should mention he wants the princesses dead so the ponies have no hope. So save your lethal weapons for the princesses, the rest are a capture alive only. And if I catch a single one of you killing a pony that isn't one of the princesses. I will give you a bullet myself" replied Garlond.

This made all the mercenaries in the room go silent, continuing too haul in the weapon crates and rope crates through the portal. Although the force wasn't exactly a huge invasion force, in fact only about five hundred mercenaries, they had re-reinforcements coming which would bolster their numbers by another five hundred. Not to mention they needed as much ammunition and rope as possible to capture every pony in equestria.

As two mercs haul in the last two crates, one mercenary starts patting his leg then another starts doing the same, then another. All of a sudden they start bobbing their heads as they began too pretty much prepare for a song of their own, starting to look towards Garlond for the main singer. Garlond just started off the song by just talking, walking around and dragging his hands across his soldier's shoulders while he sang.

The song mostly consists of who cares what happens to any-pony and that they'll be so rich they will swim like millionaires in their own money. Though the song gets a bit dark when one mercenary starts making hand shadows of what would happen to the ponies, the hand-shadow consisted of rope against their neck and being dragged around to work. One line even consisting of feeling the hot burn of rope against their neck as they were dragged, which by the end of the song all the mercenaries are bursting into maniacal laughter.

Meanwhile back at the camp where Twilight and her friends were at they were having a conversation about what to do now that they had finished their breakfast together. Xavier having been the last to eat his breakfast, and the cutie mark crusaders were obviously the first ones to finish eating their breakfast since they wanted to play rather than eat breakfast.

Xavier himself got a tad of a bad feeling behind himself, looking over his shoulder he stares back at the forest like as if he almost heard the song somehow, his eyes giving a long stare towards the entrance of the forest. His gaze is cut short when Twilight pokes him and asks what's wrong.

The only reaction that Twilight got from Xavier was him just telling her it was nothing, just thought that he heard something. Standing up from the blanket he was sitting on with the rest of the ponies he began to stretch out his arms and legs, sounds of pops coming from him as those bones adjusted within his body. Though he stops in the middle of his stretch and looks around, having not noticed the cutie mark crusaders anywhere.

"Uh, where are the CMC?" asked Xavier, was he really asking where ponies were? Though it was probably his concern talking since they were still kids.

And just like that he's tackled from behind by the Cutie Mark Crusaders making him fall forward onto his chest like a rock, Applebloom, Sweetiebell and Scootaloo climbing all over him and wrestling him, this got Twilight and the others to giggle quite loudly at seeing the foals just being well foals.

"I got his leg!" Shouted Applebloom

"I got his arms!" shouted Sweetiebell

"Oh yeah! Well I got his head! That's how you take down a giant!" shouted Scootaloo.

Xavier's blood was boiling at being tackled and his limbs being held against his will like this, for fillies they were rather strong is something he had to admit, or well at least Applebloom was strong compared to the rest of the two fillies. Trying to hold in his rage so he doesn't snap at them becomes impossible when Scootaloo accidentally turns his head a certain ways that gives him some pain in the neck, his arms and legs start to kick violently which scares the fillies off of him once he shouts.

"WOULD YOU GET OFF OF ME!" he snapped.

The CMC quickly hid behind the mane 6, Twilight was a little furious at this but Applejack ends up being the one that snaps at Xavier first for his scare he gave the fillies when they were just playing around with him.

"Whats the big idea scaring the young foals here?!" shouted AJ

"I don't like being touched, at all, they were touching me all over. I HATE being touched" lied Xavier.

"We're really sorry Xavier, we wont do that ever again, promise" said Applebloom in the most apologetic tone she can do at the moment, even though right now she was terrified of him.

"Yeah well don't let it happen again" scoffed Xavier.

AJ glared at Xavier then began to roll her eyes as she turns her attention back to the fillies and lets her big sister side come out, or rather a very mother side as she checks all three of them for any bruises, cuts and so on. The CMC just groaning the whole time and telling her to stop as it's rather embarrassing.

Twilight and the others giggle except Xavier whose getting up to brush himself off still plenty annoyed with the situation at hand he starts to take his leave of the group to get some peace and quiet until it was time too head out again. Which came very quickly, not even getting a half hour of peace and quiet to himself thanks to Twilight and Rarity's magic with packing everything up.

And yet again Pinkie Pie starts talking non-stop as they walk, though Pinkie stops her rambling when again Xavier snaps at Pinkie Pie, this time involving a curse word at her which gets all of the ponies except Twilight and Pinkie to glare at Xavier as he walks ahead of the group.

Twilight takes this as an opportunity to rush up to Xavier's side and walking side by side with him where they proceed to talk calmly to eachother.

Rainbow Dash's glare went away rather quick though when she saw Twilight doing this Rainbow was getting absolutely jealous at this time as she began to assume Twilight was moving onto her crush.

"I can't believe that!" muttered Rainbow, yet it was loud enough for AJ to pick up on it.

"Can't believe what?" asked the orange earth pony.

"Oh nothing, it's nothing!" exclaimed Rainbow rather loudly having just noticed what she said.

"Don't play dumb with me Rainbow, I know I heard ya'll say something" replied AJ.

"Nope you just heard things" countered Rainbow as she just grins to herself.

AJ was getting frustrated again at Rainbow Dash, something she was just getting sick and tired of at this point but Pinkie Pie spots this almost immediately and grins as she does what she normally does. Break the 4th wall entirely or in this case making it non-existant due to how many times she's broken it in the past.

Taking a deep gasp she starts spurting out her words at a very quick pace, one of her fastest talking voices to date that AJ herself has a hard time understanding everything Pinkie said.

"Rainbow Dash has a huge crush on Xavier and she's getting really, really jealous cause she thinks Twilight is moving onto her crush cause of how quick Twilight went up there to talk with him about what's wrong, Oh! OH! like she did last night when Xavier was having really really bad nightmares yet his nightmares turned to a dream where he almost kissed Twilight and that's when I woke him up with my party cannon!" exclaimed the Pink earth pony.

Xavier heard all of this behind him and he just stood there along with Twilight, jaw completely dropped and frozen solid. Rainbow Dash trying to process everything she heard into the proper emotion, heck! She didn't know what emotion she should stick with because one moment she's feeling angry then confused, jealous and so on.

Before any-pony can even respond to Pinkie's antics again she breaks the 4th wall a second time all within a matter of minutes.

"Oh like the narrator is telling a story about himself through a third person perspective in this story! And he's feeling really, really confused right now that he had to end the chapter early compared to his other chapters that people have been reading for a short while today! Gasp! Oh my gosh! We're in a story! Hi readers! CAN YOU RED EVERYTHING I SAY?! THATS SO COOL! creepy, BUT COOL!"

Chapter 5: Trapped In A Void And The Truth Revealed

Xavier and Twilight had just shaken off Pinkie's 4th wall obliteration as they turn around with massive confusing expressions on their faces. Stopping dead in their tracks they see every-pony in the group is standing there frozen solid like statues as they tried to process what just happened just like Rainbow Dash was trying too.

Twilight and Xavier were the first ones to speak up as they both had a tendency to recover from these sort of stunning situations so quickly, that by the time they realize they snapped out of it at the same-time their shocked again.

"Oooo! You two are like! Clones or something to snap out of your super duper wowzer expression at the sametime!" Pinkie grinned.

"We are not!" Xavier and Twilight say yet again at the same-time while looking at pinkie with disbelief but upon realizing they said this at the sametime yet again once more look to one another.

"Did you, How are we, Okay this is getting creepy, stop it! No you stop it!" Xavier and Twilight are saying all of these at the same-time as well, trying to say the first thing over the other.

As time slowly passes, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are sitting there alongside Rarity and Spike. While the CMC are just distracting themselves with a small game as they wait for those two to finish their talking, but yet again every single word they are saying is coming out at the same exact time as the other.

Rainbow hitting her forehead against a tree over and over again, Applejack just laying there on her side keeping an eye on the two of them. And Fluttershy is just sitting there herself confused. While Spike's eyes are twitching in pure annoyance at the moment, and the longer Xavier and Twilight go on with their awkward, creepy timing with saying the same thing ends up driving Spike to the edge to where he ends up shouting himself.

"Would you two stop it! You're giving me a headache! It's bad enough as it is with one Twilight around!" Spike shouts.

Sure enough it works but not in the way Spike wants it too. Xavier had given up seconds before Spike shouts, and began to proceed with walking down the trail again but falls downwards as one step ends up making him fall through the ground with a loud scream coming from him.

Twilight and her friends hearing this after Spike's little shout rush over towards the hole and look down deep into it, seeing Xavier having just impacted the ground quite loudly, making Rainbow wince a bit in pain as she heard it all the way up where she was at. Luckily the drop wasn't a fatal drop but definitely painful.

The lavender mare was the first one to go down with a firm 'pop' of her magic where she teleports and re-appears right next to Xavier's right side where he's groaning in pain from the hard impact.

"Oh my gosh! Xavier! Are you all right?" asked Twilight with concern in her voice.

"What does it look like? I impacted against the ground pretty hard Ms. Know it all!" groaned Xavier in a pained, yet quiet voice.

"Ms. Know it all?! I'll have you know I am not!-"

Twilight stopped in her tracks when she looked forward, noticing a massive stone door-way with ancient carvings and writings written all around the door she gasped in surprised, knowing exactly where they were. It must've been the ruins yet they were buried underground? Most likely due to it being around for so long or some other matter is what Twilight began to think, her excitement being ecstatic at finding a place such as this she darts forward and looks over the doorway, having left Xavier on the ground unintentionally due to that excitement of her's.

Still Xavier gets up on his own, his right arm moving over to his left side to lightly hold onto his injured waist, he began to walk over to the massive doorway as well while looking it over from a distance. He had a strong, a very strong feeling he was going to finally be able too return home, yet a part of him wasn't looking so forward to this mostly cause the feeling just didn't feel right too him at all he just felt like he was being watched by someone, something.

He wasn't too far off either, mercenaries were watching from a distance with their fire-arms ready to stun the others and take them yet they knew not to do so just yet, not until they were seperated.

"Hey! you guys alright down there?!" shouted Rainbow Dash from where she was standing up on the surface.

"Yeah we're fine Rainbow! We just found the ruins thats all!" shouted Xavier as he began to find ways to open the door himself.

"Alright! Me, Rainbow and the others will try and find another route down there!" shouted AJ as she ran around the massive hole and began to look for other ways in.

Rainbow Dash knew why AJ was trying to find other ways in, she didn't like it one bit but it was for the safety of the CMC and Spike, so she begins to follow Rainbow Dash and so do the others while Xavier and Twilight began to continue with trying to open the door. Eventually getting it open by pushing against a hidden brick.

Twilight and Xavier looked to each-other with a very victorious face upon themselves. Deciding to step through together they are greeted with just shelves of books, swirling giant blue spheres that seem still active and almost powering the place, staircases and many other door-ways which makes him groan, while Twilight was just purely ecstatically excited due to books and so on. Beginning to browse through the books rather than explore the ruins.

This just makes him roll his eyes as he goes to explore himself, and through his walk he's greeted with many more carvings along the wall, ancient scriptures and texts through that long, wide open spaced hallway.

Twilight start's getting confused however when the books she's opening are blank, blank, blank through page 1 all the way to the final page yet these ruins were supposed to be extremely old, but no dust build ups. It looked like as if this place was just created which gave Twilight a very uneasy feeling.

By the time she turns around she's shot by one of the mercenaries guns but not to be killed instead to knock her out as quick as a flash.

"Garlond said too kill her man. Not knock her out with our shock weapons" replied the second mercenary as there were only two of them.

"Oh relax, Garlond wont find out. Plus we might as well make our trap we had for Xavier a little more interesting don't ya think?" said the first one.

"What do you have in-Ohhhh you mean trap him with a pony! And he hates ponies! clever one! really clever one!" exclaimed the second mercenary.

The first mercenary just rolled his eyes underneath his helmet, the second one was just a complete imbecile even though he caught up on the plans very quickly, okay not entirely an imbecile but still dumb on some levels. Proceeding to drag Twilight's unconscious body through the ruins or more accurately, fake ruins as this whole place was meant to be a trap for Xavier, but the ponies being here as well was not part of the original plan.

Xavier himself ends up walking through the hallways while occasionally checking out more rooms, some rooms giving him a few flashbacks of his child-hood which was the one thing he never wanted to share with any-pony or rather anyone from his own world. One flashback was purely painful for him however as that memory gets him to back up against a wall and move against it while growling in pain, his pupils dilating and starting to curse under his breath until the memory passes.

Quickly leaving the room he was in he ends up running down the halls looking for any sort of room that could bring him home and away from this world, he does come across a massive stone door again. His curiosity leading him to open it with a bit of struggle yet his instincts tell him not to go in.

When the door is opened he's grabbed by the throat by another mercenary, this mercenary was just a massive brute, thicker, stronger and taller than Garlond. He was about 8'5 in terms of height, his strength making the human in his hand squirm around until he tosses Xavier halfway across the room where his back impacts against a stone wall.

"Gah!" shouted Xavier as that one impact nearly almost broke his spine, still although it didn't break his spine it sure as heck made him want to stay down. That was another feeling Xavier hated, having the feeling to be forced to stay down.

Again Xavier is grabbed by the neck but instead of tightly, he's just lightly grabbed as Twilight is dragged into the room it makes him gasp and glare down at the gigantic human in front of himself, spitting onto this brute's visor he tries to speak as best as he can without some pain surging through his body, he never gets the chance to speak though as he's tossed through the portal.

Twilight being the next one to be tossed through the portal where the two of them collide in the pitch black void of time and space itself and as Xavier tries to run towards the entrance of the portal before it can close, it shuts down extremely quickly due to that brute having smashed the part of the portal that keeps it open.

Xavier stops in his tracks when this happens, completely shocked by what just happened he looks around for other ways out and starts to panic when he realizes just where their at, something that shouldn't in the slightest be possible yet here he was trapped with Twilight, only able to see her and himself because their colors stick out in the pitch blackness. That and cartoons never seem to actually make the character invisible, and guess what? He was a character in all of this madness and even that is what he also thought to himself.

"No way! No way this should be possible! No way! At all!" shouted Xavier and as time passed further in the void, hours to be exact Twilight finally began to wake up not noticing the place she looks around in a panicked fashion herself yet she was also excited because of the fact this sort of feat is impossible to achieve, she easily noticed Xavier though since he was pacing around a lot at the idea alone of being with a pony in here forever.

"Xavier? Is everything alright?" asked Twilight with a concerned tone in her voice.

"No! Everything is not alright! I'm stuck here in an impossible dimension with a pony! A pony! God I can't believe this! Why did I have to-" shouted Xavier although he was interrupted by Twilight.

"A pony?! That's what you're so upset about? Being stuck in here with me?" exclaimed Twilight as she was feeling angry and confused.

"Yes a pony, I wouldn't mind this place at all if it wasn't being infested with a single pony!" Xavier responded.

Twilight had enough of Xavier's rude nature, what was his deal with ponies when he never gave one a chance? Was it cause how they looked, the smell or just so hard to believe ponies could talk? Either way, Twilight finally lost her patience with Xavier she had treated him like she treated all of her friends yet this was the thanks she got? There was no way she was letting it slide, that and she felt this would be the only time and chance to figure out that mystery.

And so with her patience gone she shouted the loudest she ever has before in her life.

"What is your deal with ponies!? What's so wrong with us? And don't try to avoid the question either I have had enough of your attitude. So come out right now!" shouted Twilight, though the answer she got was one she was not expecting.

"Because you ponies ruined my life!...When I was a kid I watched your...TV show...and-" he's interrupted by Twilight.

"TV show?" asked the lavender mare with confusion.

"Yes! Where I come from you're a TV show! I watched your show when I was a kid and I was beaten, bullied and harassed because of you ponies, I only got a peaceful life because I decided to drop the show to fit in with everyone else okay?! Then I lost my family to your stupid TV show because I didn't want them watching your bull crap! So I got protective and forbade them from ever watching it, don't you get it? You all ruined my life, so forgive me if I want NOTHING to do with you!" shouted Xavier as loud as he could, having revealed the truth he has watched their show before and why he hated ponies so much.

Twilight sat there in disbelief mostly about the fact their world was a TV show out of all things knowing everyone from his world or mostly everyone is what she believed saw her embarrassing situations? How she became a princess? She wasn't all too keen that her private life was violated like that.

But him explaining why he lost his family to herself and her friends she just shook her head at this, she was so angry, so furious, so disbelief-ed that he was blaming her for this in fact in so much disbelief she ended up saying a few words as close to his face as possible. Her pupils like pinpricks as she spoke in another angry voice.

"You have no one to blame for that except yourself" answered Twilight then proceeded to lower herself to the ground.

Xavier stood there, his expression turning from anger to one of calm and sadness all together at the same-time, he felt like crying, he was just on the verge of crying. He knew Twilight was right, he KNEW he was the one to blame for that but instead of letting himself cry he turns his back with a scoff of...

"You ponies are pathetic" and with that he tried to get as far away from her as possible with his back turned to twilight and sat down quickly on the ground.

Twilight herself turned around and sat with her back turned to his, her own expression still being furious at his responses. It seemed like nothing she did or said was good enough for Xavier so she did something she rarely does being the princess of friendship herself, she gave up on Xavier finally agreeing with herself that there was no way he could learn friendship.

So they sat there, waiting, wondering, hoping if help would come to get them out of there....

Chapter 6: A New Life / Finale

Back in the normal world, an attack was being launched onto Canterlot by the mercenaries who are firing their stun weapons at the ponies that are running away from them. The ponies that they do stun end up collapsing and getting wrapped around in rope then left there on the spot. This small army or mercenaries using all sorts of formations and marching in lines so a line behind one line that gets knocked back / stunned temporarily can replace that line with more men.

It ends up overwhelming Luna and Celestia's guards as most of their magic attacks are just deflected back at them and either knock them back unconscious or they get stunned unconscious by a mercenary's fire-arm and get tied up themselves.

Garlond himself however was watching from a distance through a window inside one of the tallest buildings in Canterlot giving a smirk to himself behind that helmet of his as he watches the plan of his own unfold.

"Ah this plan is going just perfectly, could anything ruin such a glorious day such at this?" he asked himself, only to hear a crash from another window behind him as a mercenary of his is thrown into the building by a pegasus guard, not even looking behind himself, he aims with a stun pistol and knocks that guard out as he comes rushing in.

Then a door is kicked in where another mercenary shouts towards Garlond they've pushed the royal guard back to Celestia's throne room where they report Luna and Cadence are standing guard to protect other ponies which just makes Garlond smirk, agreeing to meet his soldier's there he starts to load a lethal pistol with the full intent on killing those three princesses with just one clip if possible. After that pistol was loaded he takes his leave of the building with a massive smirk to himself, knowing that if a certain group of ponies doesn't interfere soon, chances of him winning with all that magical resistance technology was very high.

As he walked through the streets of canterlot he looked down at the unconscious bodies of sleeping ponies making him laugh maniacally as he just walks through the streets towards the castle.

Back in the dimension where Twilight and Xavier are at, their backs are still turned to one another, both of them being furious at one another yet as time slowly passed he began to feel guilty about what he's done over this short amount of time in this world. He felt like he had a better understanding of friendship yet drastically needs to improve on it due to how he kept snapping at the ponies, finally one last time he lets himself cry then and there. Due too no other sounds in the room Twilight was able to hear it easily, this made her curious to say the least.

Thinking long and hard to herself as Xavier began to cry she decided to give him one last shot at friendship, slowly standing up she trots over to him curious as too why he was crying.

Reaching forward with a fore-hoof of her's she places it on Xavier's right shoulder and slowly, very slowly start to move forward more to sit next too him and in one soft voice she decided to ask.

"Xavier, is something troubling you?" she questioned, although she didn't really want to ask him she had a strong feeling she should ask.

"Twilight, I don't know why I'm crying if that's what you're asking" he replied.

"That's not what I'm asking I am asking what is troubling you" replied Twilight.

Xavier looked towards Twilight slowly after regaining his composure where he began to wipe away a few tears he turned his whole body towards her body, feeling that if he's going to be stuck here forever he might as well come clean with Twilight here and now.

"Well I suppose I could share it with you, I've spent such little time in this world and yet here I am crying, feeling happier than I've ever felt before except for that one time where my son Jacob was born. And even though I showed you and your friends just a...rude, rude side of me I guess it's just lonely trying to fit in with everyone else, y'know?" asked Xavier.

Twilight blinked, this was a feeling she had just like when she first came to Ponyville, trying to fit in even though she was way more focused on her books at the time so an idea hit her like a sack of bricks, her furious emotions towards him having left it was like dealing with herself all over again, except this version of herself was just a lot more aggressive and has less interest in friendship than she did.

Clearing her throat she starts speaking in a calm tone of her's.

"I do know what it feels like trying to fit in, but you know I learned a valuable lesson about that, you shouldn't try too fit in with a group of ponies, or in your case group of humans. You should always be yourself, and if someone disagrees with who you are, well that's their problem not yours. You shouldn't try to be someone you're not, Xavier look I've known you for only a couple of days but I can tell right here and now you're not a bad pony, er bad human. You've just never had a friend so you don't know how to be a friend. Am I right?" asked Twilight.

Xavier was never asked that question in his life but Twilight was right mostly about never having a friend, Trish and his son Jacob were his only friends and family and when he lost them he felt lost, truly lost. Yet here he was being offered friendship and happiness by Luna, and now he was offered it by Twilight and her friends.

With a single hard focusing thought, the room around them turned white before a actual idea or rather a hopeful memory appears around them and there he was standing with Twilight and her group with a massive grin on his face.

Xavier felt confused, lost but not in the negative way he was just curious how this happened, and upon looking at the hopeful memory of his he starts to smile and laugh a bit at the hopeful memory like a mad-man which starts to get Twilight to look at him confused now but then realizes what he's laughing at.

"It's not too late for you Xavier, you can accept friendship here and now and star your life all over again. Or you can be alone forever, what will it be?" asked Twilight.

Xavier's laughing stopped as Twilight spoke, her offer was still there? Is what he thought to himself he decided to make things dramatic by not responding for a good five minutes which was starting to make Twilight feel like giving up again this time for certain and as she began to actually walk away she hear's the most unexpected thing from Xavier, a happy tone as he said these words towards her...

"Sounds like a plan to me, say sugar cube corner...five pm next week?" he questioned with a smirk.

Twilight let out a frustrated groan, storming over towards Xavier she hoofs him right in the arm lightly, which was Xavier's interpretation of a punch by human standards, thing is when she actually hits him in the arm it actually hurts quite badly that makes him wince, where his left arm reaches over and rubs the spot where Twilight 'punched' him.

He glared up at Twilight for a few seconds only to spot her giggling, which starts to make him laugh himself and so the two embrace in their first hug together where Xavier was about to whisper a few words but then something happens. Pinkie Pie stretches open the dimension and pulls them both out while their still hugging.

Twilight and Xavier tumbling around on the ground once they get yanked out so strongly like that, Xavier and Twilight's eyes spinning around in circles.

"Pinkie pie! Never have I been so glad for you breaking the 4th wall" responded Xavier.

"Canterlot! Danger! Weapons! Attack!" exclaimed Spike.

Twilight quickly shoke off her daze when she heard danger involved which happened about the same-time as Xavier having shaken off the daze himself to read the scroll with Twilight regarding that Canterlot was under attack and they need their help with fighting this mysterious army and how their magic is barely doing anything to them.

Twilight focuses on her magic around herself and her friends, yet is interrupted when Xavier grabs her horn to prevent her from casting the teleportation magic.

Rainbow Dash noticing this immediately she is about to punch Xavier herself assuming that he's trying to stop them but what he says throws every-pony except Twilight off guard with their conversation earlier.

"Let me come with you and help you rescue your friends, I want to make it up to all of you for how I was these past two days" responded the tall 6'2 human.

"Did something hit ya'll on your head?" asked AJ

"Actually I think him and Twilight made-up in that spooky....scary...dimension" replied Fluttershy.

"That's exactly what happened Fluttershy, how did you know?" asked the lavender mare.

"I uh...I didn't Pinkie was talking on and on about it so I just said what she said" she answered.

Xavier laughed at this, closing his eyes as he felt Twilight's magic surround them and with a pop they were teleported to Canterlot, the CMC were teleported back home themselves where it was safe, and Spike had decided to go with them while they weren't looking by hanging onto Xavier's leg.

By the time they 'pop' in their in the middle of about five hundred mercenaries who all step back in shock at seeing the main 6 and Xavier there in Canterlot in front of them, while the rest of the five hundred mercenaries were in Canterlot castle trying to break down the doors.

When Twilight and her friends look at the humans clad in that armor, Twilight gulping a bit at their intimidating looks yet Xavier is the first one to step forward and glare at the mercenaries in front of them.

Then followed by Twilight, Rainbow, AJ, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Rarity are the next ones to step forward, the wind blowing sharply to add to the intensity of the moment.

The mercenaries who shake off the fact their plans now have gotten just very complicated start to take the first shots where Twilight and her friends start dodging around and charging at the mercenaries.

"Look out below!" shouted Rainbow Dash as it caught attention of a group of mercenaries who look up just in time to get hit right in the face of the helmet which cracks and dents the helmet before launching him backwards cutting in a straight line to the very back of the line with a very hard impact that sends just about fifty mercenaries into the air from her massive speed from that divebomb.

Xavier himself ends up grabbing one of the guns as it drops back down and starts using the ammunition of the stun weapon to stun some of the other mercenaries that who are continuing to fire their weapons at the group yet missing just horribly, not even coming close to hitting any of them. Yet some mercenaries are interrupt with a stun themselves or getting thwacked in the head with the butt of the gun that Xavier hits against a helmet to knock them out, and he proceeds to do this at least until he runs out of ammunition and wrestles another weapon out of a mercenary.

Applejack herself starts running headfirst into the mercenaries, using her earth pony strength to pick up speed and ram right through a large group of them, sending most of them flying into the air like with what Rainbow Dash's impact did against one. Doing a sharp stop she does a whip around and then kicks with her hind legs right against one mercenary's crotch which causes that man to scream in a very high pitch opera voice until he's kicked again in the head and launched upwards from that kick.

Pinkie Pie does something different, completely annoy mercenaries into the point where their shooting their own men by accident and stunning each-other with their own weapons. Which consists of Pinkie popping up behind one guy's pocket, then the next guy's pants or helmet. Yet when Pinkie Pie vanishes a few mercenaries look around confuse yet stop when they see Pinkie is laying and pretending to be asleep onto of one guy's head, where two mercenaries raise their guns slowly like a hammer and swing down wards at her only to miss entirely when again she vanishes with a quick zip off in the other direction. Resulting in a very cartoon like "CLANG" which makes that one Mercenary slowly fall backwards and goes unconscious himself.

"Woops sorry Tim" say the two Mercenaries who knocked him out, then their blasted away by the party cannon right behind them into more of their own men.

Rarity herself was looking up at two of the mercenaries who were pointing their weapons down at her, the white mare giving a growl as she was preparing to fight them herself until a certain stench caught her nose, sniffing the air, herself then towards the mercenaries, Rarity backing up with a very loud tone coming from her.

"My goodness darlings if you're going to take over canterlot certainly you can do it smelling better, I mean what is that god aweful stench it smells like you've been sweating all day in the black armor of yours!" exclaimed the unicorn.

The mercenaries looked to each-other, lowering their weapons as they gave each-other confused expressions, looking over themselves and even smelling their own armpits, they didn't exactly smell what Rarity was smelling which was all part of Rarity's plan,well aside from making them actually smell better.

"Don't worry darlings! Rarity is on the case!" and soon enough she whips out some perfume with a bit of her magic and starts to spray it in their faces which gets the mercenaries to start coughing for a few moments.

The mercenaries get over the smell very quickly, put their helmets back on and aim their weapons back down to Rarity, though they stop when they feel a burning sensation in their eyes. Their eyes were open when Rarity sprayed the perfume all over their faces, the mercenaries dropping their weapons and letting out painful screams as they start walking around blind as a bat. Which Rarity starts doing this to every mercenary she see's sprays their faces with perfume which results in the majority of them screaming they can't see or they've gone blind which allows the others to kick more mercenaries into the group of blind, wandering hired guns.

"I'm blind! I'm blind! I can't see! Oh god it burns! The smell is so good but so painful!" scream the mercenaries that are still wandering around.

As for Fluttershy she starts running around screaming out of being scared by the intimidating appearance of the mercenaries, those mercenaries bumping into one another so hard that it throws them off balance for AJ to kick them into the air herself. Other mercenaries end up running into street lamps or walls because Fluttershy is just running so quickly and making very sharp turns, the mercenaries that end up running into street lamps and walls just faint from being exhausted and tired from chasing Fluttershy. Though when she ends up running towards Twilight and hiding behind her those mercenaries stop dead in their tracks, stacking up in a straight line when they see Princess Twilight charging up their horn.

"RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!" shout the mercenaries as they turn around and then get blasted off into more groups of their own men cause of how strong Twilight magic launches them.

Then the most unexpected thing happens that gets the last few mercenaries to look around in confusion when they hear shouting coming from somewhere and then something impacts them extremely hard against the back of their heads, this causing them to fall forward unconscious as well. It was the cutie mark crusaders holding some dented frying pans themselves who high-hoof each-other after them succeeding in knocking the last few out.

"Fying Pan Cutie Mark Crusaders unite!" the three of them shout in the middle of their high-hoof.

"What in tarnation?! how did ya'll get here?!" exclaimed AJ as she was pretty angry at them running into danger like this.

"Um...magic?" asked Applebloom when it was partly true, Twilight's magic didn't send them all the way home due to having teleport all of them to canterlot in such a hurry.

"Well whatever the reason we need to get to the throne room! come on!" shouts Xavier as he rushes off to the throne room with the main 6 where most of the same thing happens with fighting through the halls except most of the mercenaries get knocked out the window or run away screaming from how bad their getting beaten.

As they approach the front door Xavier opens it first and starts rushing in to help Celestia and Luna if needed which their holding up a barrier but no sign of Garold or that gigantic 8'5 tall human. Xavier remaining on guard for only a few moments until he hears a loud "BANG" go off in a corner of the room, slowly looking over he see's Garold aiming the pistol right at Xavier. The mercenary leader snarling under his breath as he sees his shot had missed, or more accurately been deflected due to Twilight's shield bubble having saved Xavier at the last second.

"This is not over, Bruiser! Deal with these interlopers!" exclaimed Garlond as he took his leave with his gauntlet by typing in a few co-ordinates and teleporting himself out of the area.

Twilight and her friends look over slowly as they hear these large, loud thumps that start cracking the floor with each step, a slow turning massive war suit with two gattling guns attatched to the shoulders. Where it slowly winds up and Xavier gets out of the way with Twilight and her friends just in time as it starts to shoot at a very high rate of fire.

Rainbow dash leaning against the wall as much as Xavier and Twilight are as that suit is practically terrifying even for her and not much terrifies her though she had to admit it was a pretty cool suit aside from the slow turning.

Xavier who waits for the gattling gun to go 'click, click, click' as it runs out of it's first round of ammunition Xavier runs back in to the room as it reloads very quickly only to take cover behind a pillar this time where he keeps proceeding to do this until he spots the gem in the very back of the suit.

"Cover me!" shouts Xavier as Twilight and her friends do just that, Twilight grabbing chunks of wall and pillar in the room and throwing it right at the massive warsuit.

When Xavier gets behind the warsuit he starts to pry it open but not without shocking himself, where once he grabs the gem he's greets with volts of electricity surging through his body that gets even the suit to malfunction and explode once the gem is plucked out launching Xavier backwards against a pillar, knocking him out and leaving some bad injuries on his chest, life fatal injuries due to how closes he was to that explosion.

Twilight rushing forward she stops in her tracks and lifts Xavier onto his back where she proceeds to use her magic in healing his wounds quickly. Celestia Luna and Cadence lowering the barrier around themselves and the door and looking over as Twilight fights to save Xavier's life, which is uncertain. Twilight starting to try and shake Xavier awake while starting to cry as he's not moving. Twilight starts shouting and begging him not to go, going on about all the things they were going to do as friends in Ponyville.

When Xavier doesn't respond Twilight slams a hoof against Xavier's chest which gets him to jolt awake with a loud scream of pain.

"AH! Jesus Twilight! Can't a guy sleep here?!" he exclaimed.

"You scared me half to death Xavier! Don't you EVER do that again!" shouted Twilight in response as yet against she hits him in the chest on purpose out of being scared like that.

Xavier gave an oof and a grunt, laughing as he laid there with an arm resting around Twilight, and over the course of the day with waking ponies up from being shocked and knocked unconscious they end up holding a celebration over their latest victory. But instead of Xavier staying for the whole thing he stays up on a balcony with Twilight, looking over the stars and the moon in the night sky as the musical beat went down below them. The two of them laying on a large red sofa, fireworks also going on in the night sky as a form of celebration.

"We'll get you home Xavier, I promise, somehow we will" spoke up Twilight as she snuggled up closely to Xavier.

"Twilight....I think I am home to be honest, I have never been happier as I am now...but I have to admit...this isn't the last we've seen of these mercenaries" replied Xavier as he stares up at the night sky.

"I think you're right" replied Twilight.

"And Twilight?...thank you for everything...for giving me a new life" responded Xavier with one last smile as he went back to staring at the night sky.

Meanwhile back in Xavier's world in the far distant future a man who was sitting in a chair was looking at his monitor screen, conversating with garlond about the situation of how he and his men failed. The man who was sitting in his chair has his voice disguised to one of a gritty robotic deep voice.

"I can assure you we won't fail again when we attack Canterlot, this time we'll win, we just need better supplies, more men, better weapons!" exclaimed Garlond form the computer monitor.

"I am not concerned about next time...now that we know the strengths of Canterlot and the weaknesses, we have only but to use those against them...Bruiser's life was expendable but he prooved useful in the end" he replies playing a clip on the television through Bruiser's eyes of the battle with Twilight, Xavier and the rest of the ponies.

"If you say so" and with that Garlond shuts off his screen to plan his next attack on Canterlot with the valuable info of the strengths and weaknesses of The princesses and Twilight herself....
