Pony's Creed Rogue.
Prologue
Load Full Story"Stay my blade, from the flesh of the innocent. Hide in plain sight. Never compromise the Assassin Sisterhoof. These are the 3 tenants of the creed. The principles I used to live by. I was a young girl. The Seven Years War was about to begin. I could not have imagined what the future had in store for me, nor the cause I would choose to bare. My name is Shelly Patricia Carmichael. And this is my story." (I know that was already in the description, but that’s how the game began, so DEAL WITH IT!)
As a pack of wolves ran through the snow of the cold windy forests of the North Artic, an eagle flew by in the sky above. It soared above as high in the sky. As high as the trees. As it made a hard turn spin under a cave and flew up to the western trees, a young pony girl was climbing up its trunks and began to hopping on the branches, running by as she jumped off onto a nearby cliff. Grabbing hold and pulling herself up, she dusted the snow from her shoulder and combed back the hair that was in her face. The cold wind blew, giving her a chilling sensation.
Looking around, she scanned the area, trying to find her target. She walked over to the edge of the cliff to find a hooded figure making a run pass her location. Target sighted. She slowly jumped on to a near tree, grabbing hold of its branch. Pulling herself up, she ran across the trunk of the tree, jumping off to another tree branch, slowly trying to balance herself, she tip-toed softly to the edge, and sprung from her hooves, using her wings to grab air, and land on the top of another tree branch. Her target was right under her.
She took a deep breath and waited. Her heart pounded with fear, a beat of sweat ran down her brow, and she bit her lip in anxiety. As she extracted her blade and jumped off to land the killing blow, she found that her target had spotted her and countered her move before she could finish her off. The two foes were face to face. As they stood their ground and clenched their fists, preparing for combat, the assassin pony began to smile. As for her target, she began to laugh.
“Admit it, I nearly had you!” shouted the assassin girl.
“Nearly doesn’t count for nothing Shelly.” replied the other girl. “And no, that was just mere luck.”
“Ha, I make my own luck, Lidia.” replied Shelly.
“Yeah, you’ve been saying that for years, but you have precious little to show for it.” lectured Lidia. “Or have you spend it all getting out of trouble?"
"Well, you know, trouble just seems to fallow me around."
*Cannon Fire.
"We better head back." said Lidia.
"Agreed." replied Shelly.
The two girls pulled their hoods up and took off. Following Lidia, Shelly ran as fast as she can, as Lidia ran up a tree and grabbed hold of its branch, jumping off to the cliff nearby and grabbing hold. Shelly followed Lidia with great speed and agility. Trying to keep up with Lidia came easy for her. As the two girls hopped and skipped through the trees, Lidia looked back to talk to Shelly. "Sounds like Captain Gilda and her crew might be in trouble." she said, "who knew meeting the smugglers would lead to no good."
The two continued their race to meet up Captain Gilda, running up the branch of a fallen tree up to a small hull, where they jumped onto another tree's branch. "Am I going too fast for you, Shelly?" teased Lidia.
"Don't worry about me. Just trying to keep an eye on you." she replied.
The two jumped off and landed on a pile of snow and continued their race on foot. Finally they reached the beach to where they were supposed to meet Gilda and her crew members. Captain Gilda paced the beach drinking out a bottle of gin. The cold air blew down on her and froze up tai feathers. Angrily, she looked around for her contacts. Just then, here came Shelly and Lidia. Gilda frowned, grunting her teeth with anger, and threw the bottle aside.
"Son of a B- WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU TWO!!" yelled the angry griffon girl as the two walked up to the beach.
"We were out hunting. What happened here." asked Shelly.
"MY MEN WERE ATTACKED BY SOME ROYAL SEA DOGS!" Gilda yelled angrily.
"Ha, why Captain Gilda. Couldn't you fight them off on your own like you're always saying?"
Pulling Shelly back, Lidia shook her head, shushing her softly. As she did, Gilda turned back at Shelly with anger. Her face spelled out "Pissed". And why wouldn't she be?
"It is Capitaine Gilda von Griffon de Griffonstone." she said angrily, "And are dreaming if you think training would make you into a proper assassin with THAT mouth." Gilda leaned towards Shelly with clenched fists. "Do you even know what that means!" she asked. Before Shelly could answer, Gilda interrupted her. "IT MEANS being responsible, of an ANCIENT and PROUD tradition! HOW ELSE WILL WE ENSURE FREEDOM FOR EVERY RACE!!?"
"Funny you say that Captain, cause I don't feel too free."
"Well then, prepare to be EDUCATED!"
Gilda swung herself forward and threw a punch at Shelly, striking her on her mouth. Shelly picked herself up from the cold ground and wiped the blood from her lip. Clenching her fists tightly Shelly prepared to engage Gilda in combat. Shelly threw a right hook at Gilda, hitting her left check. As Gilda punched back, Shelly grabbed her hand as it was about to hit her and countered her attack with a gut punch. Gilda swung herself forward, landing an uppercut at Shelly. Shelly kicked Gilda aside rushed forward towards her to throw another, but Lidia ran in front of her, and separated the two fighting girls.
"Ladies! Ladies! Stop it! We got a common enemy, and I recon he's close!"
"Argh! You're right!" muttered Gilda.
"Shelly, your with me. Gilda, stay here and treat your wounded."
As Shelly dusted herself off, Lidia handed her a sword and a dagger. "Her Shelly, you'll need these" she said. Shelly took the sword and dagger, and sheathed them in her weapon's pocket. Shelly followed after Lidia, the two racing to find the English. As the two continued their race through the trees, climbing up cliffs and tree trunks, and running ledges and logs. As Shelly skipped by, tree by tree, Lidia lead the way, running through the grass, and leaping off the Cliffside down to a pile of leaves on the ground. Shelly stopped to make sure she was okay, and sure enough, Lidia emerged from the pile. With a smile Shelly leaped off and landed safely on the pile of leaves as well.
The two crept slowly as they came across the Royal Guard camp sight. Lidia scanned the area, 6 guards, and 3 hostages, and there's a ship out by the river docked near by. Guard count unknown. "6 guards." confirmed Lidia. "I'll take out the guards, you free hostages." Shelly nodded, and slowly fallowed behind Lidia as she climbed up a tree. Shelly stayed below hiding in the tall grass. She waited for Lidia to give her the signal. As the guards patrolled the area, Lidia ran across the trees and dived into a wagon of hay. As a guard was walking by, Lidia peaked out and grabbed the guard, and assassinated him. That was the signal, Lidia ran out from the grass and took out the guards guarding a hostage. Shelly freed from his restraints as Lidia poked out from the wagon and ran towards 2 other guards who were sleeping on the job, and took them out with her hidden blades.
4 guards down. Just then a guard noticed Lidia assassinating the 2 and ran towards her, but Shelly ran behind him and stabbed him. As she did the 6th guard emerged from his tent to check on the commotion outside. Seeing Shelly, the guard took out his pistol to fire, but met Lidia and her blade just as he was about to pull the trigger. With the guards dealt with, Shelly untied the last 2 hostages. "Thank you." replied the captive smugglers, "We thought we were done for."
"Great job kid." said Lidia.
"Thanks, Lidia." replied Shelly, "but there's more on that docked ship near by."
"Take them out." she commanded, "I'll escort the smugglers back to Gilda."
Shelly nodded and made her way to the boat. She ran down the beach to the shore where the ship was docked. She stepped on some rocks and leaped off, grabbing to the stern of the ship. She pulled herself up and peeked up to look for guards. 2 by the wheel, 1 polishing a cannon, and 1 patrolling. They also have 2 hostages. Shelly waited for the patrolling guard to pass, then she pulled herself up and slowly planted her feet on the floor of the ship. With their backs turned, Shelly, took out the two guards by the wheel, stabbing them both on the back their heads. With no one noticing ran towards the man polishing the cannons and pushed him off the ship. As the patrolling guard noticed and prepared to open fire, Shelly pulled out a throwing knife, and tossed it at the guard pony. All guards down, hostages freed.
As Shelly prepared to leave, the Captain's door room opened, and out game running 8 soldiers, all pointing their guns at Shelly, cornering her like a wild animal. Shelly was trapped. But she wasn't going to die without a fight. As a guard prepared to fire, Shelly drew her sword and jerked the guard's gun aside, causing him to shoot one of his own. As a guard rushed forward to stab Shelly with the bayonet part of his musket, Shelly countered his attack with her sword, and stabbed him in the back with her dagger. As Shell was occupied defending herself, a 9th guard came out behind her, and was preparing to fire, when suddenly, Lidia and Gilda arrived to her rescue. Lidia cut down the bastard with an air assassination, as Gilda opened fire on a guard Shelly was fighting, killing. 4 down, 5 to go. The 3 girls clashed their swords with the Royal Guard. One by one they took each one out. All Cleared
"I was saving those fellows for you." replied Shelly out of breath.
"Very thoughtful of you." said Gilda in a cocky tone, "Maybe you're not Completely useless, Shelly."
"Speaking of useless. These block heads won't be needing this vessel anymore."
"This pile of Shit!?" replied Gilda.
"Why not," said Lidia, "It's good enough. Well built too."
"Well, you want her Shelly, its yours." declared Gilda. "Now, bring me back to my ship."
With a new vessel, Shelly took the control of the wheel and ordered her new crew members to hoist the sails. As the mighty wind roared through, the sails began to pick up speed, and off the went towards Gilda's ship. As they sailed towards the young griffon's vessel, they game across cannon fire. A Royal Guard ships were attempting to sink Gilda's boat. "My SHIP!" yelled the distressed captain, "We must save her!" Luckily for them, they were well equipped with cannons themselves. With a smirk on her face, Shelly prepared for combat.
"PREPARE TO FIRE!" ordered Shelly. The crewmen raced to load them up. Shelly steered towards the ships and began to order the attack. "READY! AIM! FIRE!" The cannons discharged, flying threw the air and hitting the enemy ships. Of course the enemy had now sighted them, and began preparing a counter attack. "RELOAD!" shouted Shelly. As the men were reloading the enemy ships fired their cannons. The first few hit the ocean, but 6 shots were able to land on the ship. The vessel was shaken. But not destroyed. Shelly, order to fire. "FIRE!" The cannons launched out and crashed onto the Guard's vessel. The enemy had been crippled.
Shelly order the reload. She let a sly smile, for she knew the enemy was about to fall. "NOW'S OUR CHANCE!" she yelled, "FIRE!" The cannons launched out with a mighty bang, and in a single shot, the enemy ship was sunk. The crew cheered loudly and began to break out in song! Gilda breathe heavily with relief. Her ship was saved. With the enemy defeated, and everyone safe, Gilda and her men prepared to board their ship.
After another successful day, Shelly sailed off towards the sea as she looked back to see Captain Gilda making her way off to go on another mission. Lidia walked up behind Shelly with a smile.
"There she goes." declared Lidia. "Off on another adventure."
As the sun set on their happy adventure, the two looked up at the reddish sky and saw the stars as they were barely starting to appear in the night sky. "So captain, where would have us set sail next?" asked Lidia.
With a giggle, Shelly pointed Northward. "I think its time we head back to the mentor, don't ya think." said Shelly. With a smile, Lidia patted Shelly on the back.
"Wise words Captain. Wise Words indeed."

Author's Note
I know I have my hands full with 50 Shades of Blaze, My Little Pony: Secrets of the Kitsune tribes, and Heavy Sleeping Princess, but I REALLY wanted to share with you guys a short entrée on an Idea I had for my next fimfic. Pony's Creed Rogue. I got the Idea from other Pony's Creed stories, and noticed that no one has done rogue yet. So I guess I'll be the first. P.S: If you think this is just going to be word for word what happened in the game version, well you're wrong. I am goanna be rewriting some things in and taking some stuff out to make it seem more original.
BTW. Yes, the ponies are Anthro. Reason being is because I really don't see how a pony will be able to free run when it has 4 legs and hooves instead fingers. ![]()
